10-18-22 | Ducks v. Devils OVER 6.5 | 2-4 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 35 m | Show
Anaheim opened the season with a win over the Seattle Kraken, 5-4. However, they have since lost their next two on the road at the Islanders, 1-7, and at the Rangers, 4-6. They have allowed 17 goals in three games while scoring 10 goals. The NJ Devils are 0-2 to start the season, losing to the Flyers, 2-5, and then to the Red Wings, 2-5. They have allowed 10 games in two games. The Ducks are 6-0-1 ov/Un their last seven games dating back to last season. The Devils are 5-0 Ov/Un their last five games dating back to last season. The way these teams are giving up goals, I don't know if the oddsmaker can put up a big enough total here tonight. Play the OVER. |
06-24-22 | Lightning v. Avalanche OVER 6 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 20 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche look to put this Stanley Cup away at home tonight in game five. They are up 3-1 after winning at Tampa in game four, 3-2 in OT. If you watched the OT, Colorado dominated. They had fresh legs and it showed. Colorado had eight days off before the Stanley Cup finals compared to just three by Tampa Bay. This Colorado team is too fast and strong for St Louis, especially on fresh legs. If it wasn't for the Tampa Bay goalie, the Rockies could have blown game four open. He has stopped 12 of 13 Colorado break aways in the series and made amazing saves in game four. Only two players on this Colorado team have been on a Stanley Cup champion. All that being said, I believe Colorado wins it tonight and they score big again. I won't lay the big price with the Avs but I will take the OVER. |
06-22-22 | Avalanche v. Lightning UNDER 6 | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 9 h 12 m | Show |
Game four of the NHL Finals saw the Tampa Bay Lightning get a win on the board in game three in Tampa. The Lightning lost game one in OT, 3-4 and then got blown out in game two, 0-7 before winning in big fashion in game three, 2-6. All three games have gone over and that's no shock considering the speed and offensive prowess of these Colorado Avalanche. Even though the Avs scored just two goals last game, they had at least four games in nine of their previous 10 games. To show how Colorado has dictated the pace in the finals, the Lighting were a good under play through the early rounds of the playoffs. But since they have faced Colorado all three games are over. Will Colorado rebound tonight? One thing they have going for them is that Tampa Bay Right Wing Nikita Kucherov is nursing an injury, though he is probable tonight. I look for Colorado to get back to their scoring ways tonight, which means that Tampa will have to keep pace. I like the OVER in game four. |
02-16-22 | Avalanche v. Golden Knights OVER 6.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 48 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche sit atop the Western Conference standings with 72 points, nine point better than second place Minnesota and 23 better than tonight's opponent, Las Vegas. The Avalanche have a 8-1-1 record their last 10 games and have the best goal differential in the NHL at +56 goals. Vegas is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. They had their three game win streak snapped at Calgary last game, 0-6. Vegas will be without one of their best players and team captain in Mark Stone who is out with a back issue. However, making his first start in over a year is Jack Eichel. The Knights traded for Eichel who had to sit out for about a year with a neck issue before he had surgery three months ago. He's now cleared to play and should provide a big spark for this Vegas team. I look for lots of goals here tonight. Play the OVER. |
11-12-21 | Flyers v. Hurricanes OVER 5.5 | 2-1 | Loss | -125 | 6 h 32 m | Show
The 4-7 Philadelphia Flyers travel to Carolina to take on the hottest team in the NHL in the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes are 10-1 on the season and averaging 3.7 goals per game this year. The team's only loss coming last Saturday at Florida, 2-5. They have gone over in two of their last three games. Philly has lost two of their last three and three of their last five. Carolina looks to be a handful tonight and I expect a lot of goals in this one. Play over. |
10-14-21 | Golden Knights v. Kings OVER 5.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
Vegas opened its season on Wednesday with a win over the expansion Seattle Kraken, 4-3. Vegas led 3-0 at one time, but the Kraken rallied to tie the game at 3-3 in the 3rd period before Vegas got the ultimate win. Vegas looks to have taken a bit of a different approach this year as their more open style of play has resulted in more odd man rushes. Still not convinced that Goalie Robin Lehner was the better choice to keep over Marc-Andre Fleury, but he's the one they have. As for LA, they have to find a way to get better and fast. This team didn't make the playoffs last year. Vegas won six of the eight meetings with the Kings last year. LA is still led by veterans Anze Kopitar who tallied 50 points last year. They also have young goalie Calvin Peterson. Kings will be improved this year, but by how much? I'll take the over here tonight. |
10-13-21 | Canadiens v. Maple Leafs OVER 5.5 | 1-2 | Loss | -145 | 3 h 13 m | Show
Start of these season for both these teams here tonight. Toronto will find themselves without a few key cogs. RW Mitchell Marner and Center Auston Matthews are both injured. Marner is questionable while Matthews is out. Montreal had a great run in the playoffs last year, getting all the way to the finals before losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Canadiens beat the Leafs in the first round of the playoffs last year in seven games. Montreal lost a lot of talent from last year including goalie Corey Price. Youth will be the name this year for the Canadiens. Most of the questions though seem to be on defense and in goal. The offense looks good with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield leading the way. I will pass on a side here and take the OVER. |
07-05-21 | Lightning v. Canadiens UNDER 5 | 2-3 | Push | 0 | 10 h 32 m | Show
The only thing left in this year's Stanley Cup finals is whether it's tonight or the next game before Tampa defends it's Stanley Cup Championship. The Lightning are up 3-0 and look unstoppable, even by Canadien goalie Carey Price. Goalie Andrei Vasilevsky has been amazing with a 15-6 record in the playoffs and a 1.94 GAA average. He's been even better against Montreal with a 3-0 record and 1.67 GAA. The only question is whether Montreal will play for some pride here in game four or pack it in. The total is still at 5.0 here tonight despite some high scores by the Lightning. I have no doubt that the Lightning can keep the Candiens scoring down. I'm going to hope that Price plays like he did in the Vegas series here tonight and take the UNDER. |
06-16-21 | Canadiens v. Golden Knights UNDER 5 | 3-2 | Push | 0 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Vegas dominated game one of this semifinal clash, 4-1. The score could have been a lot higher if not for Carey Price and some great saves for the Habs. Still, game one the Knight dominated every facet of the game and had three of their goals scored by defensemen. Vegas has arguably the best defense in the NHL and offensive minded defensemen. Their speed was too much, their forchecking too much, they bottled up the Canadiens in their own zone. And of course Marc-Andre Fluery was great between the pipes again. Unless Montreal turns things around, this could be a quick series. Our under in game one was a nail biter as the Habs pulled their goalie with nearly five minutes to play and had numerous scoring chances. Plus the Knights missed two or three empty net goals by mere inches. Still I don't see Montreal scoring much more than they did in game one. As for today, I can't lay the huge price, but we won the total in game one, lets do it again. Play UNDER. |
06-08-21 | Golden Knights v. Avalanche OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Vegas Golden Knights tied this series at 2-2 after a commanding win in game four. The Knights got the hat trick from Jonathan Marchessault and another outstanding performance from goalie Marc-Andre Fluery. Tonight the venue shifts back to Denver where the Avs have been about unbeatable. They beat VGK in game one, 7-1. Both teams are really heating up the shooting and aggressive play. Tonight we get a 5.5 total and I expect this game to go over that number. Play OVER. |
06-03-21 | Hurricanes v. Lightning OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 14 m | Show
The Tampa Bay Lightning return home for game three of this 2nd round series after taking both games in Raleigh and a commanding 2-0 lead. Both Tampa victories were by the same 2-1 score. Carolina had a good series against Nashville, scoring at least three goals in each of their four wins. In fact, four of the six games vs the Predators went over. Tampa Bay can also score well, as they did in the Florida series with 24 goals in the six games. While the first two in this series were low scoring I see the change in venue will also change this to a higher scoring series. Play OVER. |
05-19-21 | Predators v. Hurricanes UNDER 5.5 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
The Carolina Panthers look to hold home court as they seek a 2-0 lead in this series with the Nashville Predators. It took the Predators winning 20 of their last 28 regular season games to secure that 4th and final playoff spot. This series didn't start the way the Predators were hoping as they couldn't overcome a third period surge by the Panthers to lose game one, 2-5. The Predators are now 1-4 over/under in their last five road games. They are also 4-11-2 o/u in their last 17 games as a dog. Carolina is 2-7-1 o/u in their last 10 vs a team with a winning record. With the exception of game one, this has been a under series of late with a 1-5-1 O/U record the last seven meetings. I'm going to come back with the under here tonight. |
05-13-21 | Canucks v. Flames OVER 5.5 | 1-4 | Loss | -118 | 10 h 55 m | Show
Both these teams have been eliminated from playoff contention. The Vancouver Canucks are last in the North division with 45 points while the Calgary Flames are right above them with 49 points. Both teams give up lots of goals and the only thing on the line tonight is some pride. That being said I won't look for side here, rather I will be playing the OVER. I expect both sides to look at younger players and that will open up scoring opportunities on both side. Take the OVER and enjoy the show. Play OVER. |
05-10-21 | Avalanche v. Golden Knights OVER 5.5 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -122 | 12 h 53 m | Show |
Great game on tap tonight, possibly the best of the regular season. Both teams control their own destiny. Vegas grabs not only the best record in the West but the President's Trophy for the best overall record in the NHL with a win tonight. They may be without some key cogs though as Def Ryan Reeves will miss his 15 game in a row and LW Max Pacioretty is questionable tonight. Colorado can win the West and the President's Trophy with a win tonight and a sweep of the LA Kings in their final two games. They may be without C Nathan MacKinnon though who is questionable with a lower body issue. Both teams have plenty of offense and this should be a high scoring affair. Play OVER. |
05-08-21 | Rangers v. Bruins OVER 5.5 | 5-4 | Win | 109 | 4 h 36 m | Show
Just a handfull of games left in the NHL regular season as most playoff spots have been filled. The NY Rangers have been eliminated from the playoffs while the Boston Bruins have third place right now in the East division. The Bruins can still improve to 2nd as they trail the Capitals by just two points. The Bruins are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games while the Rangers have lost five straight. The Rangers have also allowed at least four games in four of their last five games. Bruins will still be putting forth effort here today and against this Rangers team I'm looking for plenty of goals. Play OVER. |
05-01-21 | Canucks v. Maple Leafs OVER 6 | 1-5 | Push | 0 | 8 h 20 m | Show
In the All-Canadian North Divsion the Toronto MapleLafs have secured the top spot in the division with 69 points, nine ahead of second place Edmonton. The Leafs have won four straight games and are 5-3-2 their last 10. the Vancouver Canucks are dead last in the division with just 41 points and have a three game losing streak coming into this game. I like this game to have plenty of scoring tonight. Play the OVER. |
04-26-21 | Oilers v. Jets OVER 6 | 6-1 | Win | 100 | 10 h 58 m | Show
The Edmonton Oilers are in third place in the NHL North division with 56 points. They trail Winnipeg by just one point for second place. The Oilers are 6-3-1 over their last 10 games. The Winnipeg Jets are in 2nd in the North with 57 points. They trail first place Toronto by eight points with less than 10 games to play. The Jets look to snap a three game losing streak here tonight. The Jets have allowed 12 goals over their three-game losing streak. Six of the last eight meetings between these teams in Winnipeg have gone OVER the total. That's what I am on here tonight. Play OVER. |
04-18-21 | Maple Leafs v. Canucks OVER 6 | 2-3 | Loss | -123 | 8 h 57 m | Show
The Toronto Maple Leafs look to bounce back here tonight after a 2-5 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Vancouver finally back on the ice after a lengthy Covid protocol. They haven't played since a March 24th loss to Winnipeg, 1-5. Rust will surely play a part on the Canucks side, especially on defense and in goal tending. It's difficult to simulate game conditions after such a long layloff. This should be a high scoring game. Play OVER. |
04-16-21 | Sharks v. Wild UNDER 6 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show
NHL entering the home stretch of the regular season and two teams both in need of a win play here tonight. The San Jose Sharks are 6th right now and need to get to that 4th place slot if they want to make the postseason. The Sharks have 40 points and are just four points back of 4th place St Louis, so it's well within their reach. The Minnesota Wild have 53 points and a solid hold on third place, seven points back of Vegas for 2nd place and nine points ahead of fourth place St Louis. San Jose has lost three straight games and scored just three total goals in those games. In face, they have just four goals in four of their last five games. I'm looking at a defensive battle here tonight. Play UNDER. |
04-09-21 | Kings v. Sharks OVER 5.5 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 12 h 24 m | Show
West Conference action here on Friday has the LA Kings taking on the San Jose Sharks. The Kings are in next to last place in the West with 36 points and trail fourth place Arizona by 7-points. The Sharks are just one spot above the Kings in sixth place with 38 points. The Sharks are 6-4-0 in their last 10 games. The Sharks had won four straight games before losing to the Ducks last time out. The Kings are coming off a 4-3 win over the Coyotes, just their 2nd win in their last eight games. I like the total here tonight as these two teams should put up plenty of goals. Play OVER. |
03-27-21 | Jets v. Flames OVER 6 | 2-4 | Push | 0 | 11 h 18 m | Show
Canadian North action here today has Winnipeg taking on Calgary. The Winnipeg Jets are 2nd in the North with 44 points and look to challenge for the top spot with Toronto. The Jets have won three straight and are 6-3-1 over their last 10 games. They are also 2nd in the division in total goals scored (112). Calgary is 2nd to last in the division with 33 points and a 15-17-3 record. The Flames have lost four straight games. I look for a lot of goals in this matchup today. I'm on the OVER. |
03-24-21 | Kings v. Sharks OVER 5.5 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 5 m | Show
Two of the bottom three teams in the NHL West meet tonight as the Sharks host the Kings. The Kings have 32 points and are in 6th place in the West, four-points ahead of the Sharks. LA is 4-4-2 over its last 10 games as are the Sharks. Neither one of these teams likely to make the playoffs as both have issues on both sides of the blue line. For me, I'm looking for a high scoring game here tonight. Play the OVER. |
03-12-21 | Golden Knights v. Blues OVER 5.5 | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
VGK hitting some hard times this last week. The Knights have the most points in the West division, but that likely to change as they face 2nd place St Louis. The Knights lost both games last week at Minnesota with their captain and best player Mark Stone missing a game with a back injury and their best defensemen in Alex Petrangelo out with a wrist injury. Now, the NHL arguably best goaltender in Marc Andre-Fluery is out with Covid protocols. They are already missing goal Mark Lehner with a should injury. They had to bring up both goalies from their minor league Henderson Silver Knight team. This is bad for the team as they remain on the road here tonight. I look for the Knights to give up more goals than usual. Play the OVER. |
03-04-21 | Lightning v. Blackhawks OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -120 | 6 h 46 m | Show
The Central Division leading Tampa Bay Lighting tame on the 4th place Chicago Blackhawks here tonight. The Lightning have 31 points and have won five straight games. They also have the best goal differential in the NHL at +32. The Blackhawks have 28 points and are 7-3 in their last 10 games. Chicago has also gone over in two straight and four of their last five games. At home I expect to see decent amount of goals out of the Blackhawks. As such I'll take the over here tonight. |
03-02-21 | Flyers v. Penguins OVER 6 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
These two Pennsylvania rivals meet tonight in Pittsburgh as the Penguins host the Flyers. Philly is fourth in the East division with 2 points. Just three point separate them from first place Washington. Pittsburgh is two backs back of the Flyers with 23 points. Philly brings a 3-game win streak into tonight's game. Pitt has gone over in two of the team's last three games. Both teams pretty evenly matchup. The Flyers are 19-6-1 O/U/P in their last 26 as a road dog. They are also 22-10-2 O/U/P in their last 34 road games. The teams have gone over in four of their last five meetings and the over is 18-6-3 in the last 27 meetings in Pittsburgh. That's what I'm on tonight. Play the OVER. |
02-19-21 | Jets v. Canucks OVER 6 | 2-0 | Loss | -117 | 10 h 25 m | Show
Winnipeg and Vancouver neck and neck in the NHL North division. The Winnipeg Jets are in 4th place with a 9-6-1 record and 19 points. Edmonton Oilers are in third place with a 10-8 record and 20 points. The Oilers have been the hotter team with a 7-3 record in their last 10 games. Edmonton also has the better offense. The Oilers have scored at least three goals in each of their last 12 games and are 7-5 O/U during that span. These teams are 18-7-1 O/U/P in their last 26 meetings in Calgary and 4-0-1 O/U/P in their last five meetings overall. I like the over here tonight. Play OVER. |
02-08-21 | Oilers v. Senators OVER 6.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -120 | 7 h 7 m | Show
The Ottawa Senators are the worst team in the NHL. They have only 5 points and are last in the North Division at 2-9-1. However, they did beat Montreal in one of their two recent games, taking a 3-2 win and then losing to the Canadians, 1-2. Ottawa has the worst goal differential in the NHL at -24 goals. They have also allowed a league high 52 goals. They face the 6-7 Edmonton Oilers here today. The Oilers have a -3 goal differential and have allowed 49 goals on the season. The Oilers have gone over 6-1-1 in their last eight games. They are also 3-0-1 O/U/P in their last four road games. The teams are 6-1-1 O/U/P in their last eight meetings and 4-0-1 O/U/P in their last five in Ottawa. Two bad defensive teams here tonight, I'll take the OVER. |
01-19-21 | Devils v. Rangers OVER 5.5 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show
The New Jersey Devils playing their third game of this young season. NHL teams are only playing divisional games in this shortened season and sometimes playing a team 3 or 4 time in a row. This should make for some playoff atmospheres moving forward. The Devils are 1-1 S/U thus far, beating Boston last game 2-1 and losing to the Bruins in game one, 2-3. The Rangers played a two-game set vs the Islanders and lost the opener 0-4 before winning their first game last time out, 5-0 over the Islanders. The teams play lots of high scoring games when they match up, evidenced by the 16-6-6 O/U/P record the last 28 matches. The have also gone over 4-0-1 in the last five matchups at the Rangers. I like this game to go OVER here today. |
08-30-20 | Golden Knights v. Canucks OVER 5.5 | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show
The boycott from a few days ago forced these teams into this back-to-back spot here on Sunday. The Vegas Golden Knights took game two in a dominating performance, 3-0. Lehner was great in goal turning away every shot and the Knights once again outshot their opponents. The Knights were outshot in the 1st quarter, but scored on two of their first three shots on goal. Expect Marc Andre-Fluery to be between the pipes today for the Knights. Fluery hasn't seen much action as Lehner has been the primary net minder since they returned to bubble action. Might see some rust here tonight with Fluery and and with the total dropping from six to 5 1/2 I'm taking the OVER. |
08-25-20 | Canucks v. Golden Knights OVER 5.5 | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 5 h 36 m | Show
The Vegas Golden Knights continue their dominance, opening with a resounding shutout win over the Canucks in game one of their series, 5-0. The Knights one again outshot their opponent and kept the offensive pressure on all night. The Canucks have a very good offense, so don't expect another shutout here tonight. The Knights have score four goals or more in every game in the bubble except for a 1-3 loss to Chicago in round one. I like tonight's game to go OVER. |
08-18-20 | Blackhawks v. Golden Knights OVER 5.5 | Top | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
Total line has dropped in this series as Vegas looks to close out the Hawks and move on in the playoffs. Vegas led 3-0 in this series but lost game four, 1-2. That despite having 48 shots on goal, more than double the shots of Chicago. Blackhawks goalie Crawford just was not to be beaten in game four as he was the reason for the win. Game one started at 6 1/2 and now we see a 5 1/2. Vegas continues to put on pressure and shots and I look for that luck in game four to go away here tonight for the Hawks. Vegas will score in this game and with a goal or two from Chicago it should go over quite easily. Play OVER. |
08-12-20 | Canadiens v. Flyers UNDER 5.5 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 28 m | Show
Star of the NHL playoffs has Montreal playing Philadelphia. Philly looked great in their opening round robin play, winning all three games. In addition the defense and goaltending was excellent with three games allowing just one goal in each game. Montreal was 2-1 in series vs the Penguins. This sets up what looks to be a great defensive battle in this series. As such, I look for game one to go UNDER. |
08-11-20 | Blackhawks v. Golden Knights OVER 6.5 | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 36 m | Show
Start of the NHL playoffs has the top seed in the West, Vegas, playing the bottom seed in Chicago. The Blackhawks had a big scoring series with Edmonton and it won't get any less here against Vegas. Vegas scored well in all three of their round robin games and they did so with arguably their top player in Max Pacioretty. Pacioretty is back now and that just means more scoring power for Vegas. I look for this entire series to be high scoring and it starts tonight. Play the OVER. |
08-03-20 | Stars v. Golden Knights UNDER 5.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -140 | 5 h 50 m | Show
Golden Knights looked very strong in their one tune-up game before today. They beat the Arizona Coyotes, 4-1 behind the stellar play of Andre-Marc Fluery. But this team has two top flight goalies and I would be surprised to see either starting here tonight. The Knights will have to rely on their strong defense and goaltending because they are hurting in a couple of the star forwards. Left Wing Max Pacioretty is out with an injury and RW Mark Stone has a lower body injury, but should play. The Dallas Stars are not known for their offensive play. They are a good defensive team with good goal tending. I like this game to go UNDER today. |
08-01-20 | Rangers v. Hurricanes UNDER 6 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 14 h 5 m | Show
NHL begins is short road to the playoffs as the Rangers and Hurricanes hook-up here on Saturday. I am looking for lower scoring games early on in this restart. Hockey is a very physical game and these players won't have their complete game legs under them early on. I see a bit more defensive contests. The Rangers have dominated the Canes in their history, winning 41 of their last 55 meetings. The dog has also won the last six meetings between these teams. I expect this to be a lower scoring contest. Play the UNDER. |
02-28-20 | Penguins v. Ducks UNDER 6 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 45 m | Show
The Pittsburgh Penguins look to snap a four-game losing streak tonight in Anaheim. The offense has been a bit stagnant of late, scoring just six total goals over those four losses. The team has also gone under in six of their last 10 games with one push. The Ducks snapped a four-game losing streak last time out with a win over Edmonton, 4-3. The Ducks are still one of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL with just a 2.6 gpg average, only two teams in the NHL have a worse number. Pittsburgh is also one of the better defensive teams in the NHL, allowing just 2.7 gpg this year with just three teams allowing fewer goals. Both teams have struggled at late, but I like the defense of the Penguins in this one to keep the score down. Play the UNDER. |
02-24-20 | Senators v. Blue Jackets UNDER 5.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 3 m | Show
One lone game on the schedule tonight as the Columbus Blue Jackets host the Ottawa Senators. The Senators are next to last in the East with just 43 points, though well ahead of last place Detroit, which has 34 points. The Senators are also one of the worst scoring teams in the league, averaging just 2.6 gpg. Not surprising that Ottawa is 3-8 O/U in their last 11 overall games. The Blue Jackets are 8th in the East with 74 points. They have lost eight straight games. They have gone under in six of their last eight home games when favored. They are also 20-45-1 O/U their last 66 home games. I like the UNDER again in this matchup. |
02-23-20 | Flames v. Red Wings UNDER 6 | 4-2 | Push | 0 | 8 h 55 m | Show
Two western conference teams that have both struggled this year meet this evening as the Detroit Red Wings host the Calgary Flames. I'm looking at the under in this matchup. The main reason is the Red Wings. They have a 1-6-1 O/U record in their last eight games and 2-8-1 O/U record their last 11. The Wings have not scored more than one goal in any of their last four of five games. In fact, they have one goal or fewer in 7 of their last 11 games. Detroit is last in the NHL in goals per game with just a 2.0 average. That's a full 1/2 goal per game less than the next worst scoring team, the LA Kings. Calgary might have to score 5 goals in this one to get the over. I don't see that happening. I'll take the UNDER here tonight. |
02-13-20 | Coyotes v. Senators UNDER 6 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 37 m | Show
Arizona Coyotes one of the better defensive teams in the NHL. They allow just 2.7 goals per game, which ranks them tied for fourth in the NHL. Problem is they don't score all that much either, averaging just 2.8 goals per game, which puts them in the lower 1/4 of the league. Good news for Phoenix is that Ottawa averages even less with just 2.6 goals per game. Arizona has gone under in two straight games and five of their last seven. Ottawa has gone under in four of their last five games. That's what I'm taking here tonight, the UNDER. |
02-01-20 | Oilers v. Flames UNDER 6.5 | 8-3 | Loss | -112 | 11 h 57 m | Show
Two Western conference teams play late on the Saturday night ice schedule as Calgary hosts Edmonton. The Edmonton Oilers are 5th in the West with 60 points, but just 10 points separate 2nd place from 12th place, so the West race is tight. Calgary also has 60 points and is 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. Calgary is near the bottom of the league in scoring though, averaging just 2.7 goals per game. They also allow 2.7 goals per game. Edmonton plays its fifth straight road game here tonight. My feeling is this total is a bit high for these clubs. Especially with the Oilers likely a bit tired after this long road trip. I'm going to take UNDER here tonight. |
02-01-20 | Canucks v. Islanders OVER 5.5 | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 2 h 57 m | Show
Early ice action here on Saturday has Vancouver visiting the NY Islanders. The Islanders are 5th in the Eastern conference with 63 points. They are 4-4-2 over their last 10 games. The Islanders are coming off a 4-2 win over the Rangers. They have scored 9-goals in their last three games and 19 goals over their last five games. Problem lately is that they have allowed 21 goals over their last six games. The Vancouver Canucks have won four straight games and six of their last seven. They have scored at least three goals in all six of those wins. This game looks to be high scoring with the Canucks playing well and the Islanders defense not as good as it has been. I'm taking over the 5 1/2 total line here today. |
01-12-20 | Predators v. Jets OVER 6.5 | 1-0 | Loss | -100 | 2 h 29 m | Show
The Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets are neck and neck in the West Standings with just a few points separating them. The Predators have been a good over team of late, with three in a row going over and six of seven and 10 of the last 12. Winnipeg has also been a good over team, two straight overs, four of six and 10 of the last 14 all going over. This one looks to be a shootout as both teams can score and the Predators being the fifth worst scoring defense in the league. Take OVER. |
12-23-19 | Coyotes v. Predators OVER 6 | 2-3 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 35 m | Show
Arizona having one of its best seasons since it came into the NHL with a 21-13-4 record and 46 points. That puts the Coyotes in 3rd place in the West, just one point back of the Avalanche. The Coyotes have a +14 point differential and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Nashville Predators are 9th in the West with 40 points and +9 goal differential. The Predators have seen its last four games go over as they have scored 21 goals in that span. The Coyotes can score too, 10 goals in their last 2 games. They have gone over in two straight and five of their last seven games. I love the over here tonight. Play OVER. |
12-10-19 | Blackhawks v. Golden Knights UNDER 6.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 41 m | Show
Chicago near the bottom of the Western Conference with their 12-12-6 mark this season. The Hawks average 2.73 goals this season and allow 2.97 goals. Patrick Kane leads the team in goals, points and assists. The Blackhawks are coming off a loss at home to the Coyotes, 3-4. Vegas is in the middle of the Western Conference with a 15-12-5 record. The Knights have lost two straight games after losing at home to the Rangers, 0-5. Vegas averages 2.81 goals and allows 2.91 goals. Both these teams have been underachievers this season. The oddsmaker put a 6 1/2 total on this game and I feel that's way too much. I look for a low scoring game here tonight. Play the UNDER. |
12-10-19 | Hurricanes v. Oilers UNDER 6 | 6-3 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Carolina comes into tonight's contest at 18-11-1 and sits in 6th in the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes have a +15 goal differential this season and have won two straight games. Carolina averages 3.17 goals and allows 2.73 goals. They play the third best team in the West tonight in Edmonton. The Oilers are 18-10-4 and are off a loss at home to Buffalo, 2-3. Edmonton averages 2.97 goals and allows 2.88 goals. Edmonton has gone under in two straight and three of their last four games. Carolina went over their last game, but before that they had seven straight under games. That's what I like here tonight, the UNDER. |
10-30-19 | Canucks v. Kings OVER 6 | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
The Vancouver Canucks bring their 7-4 record to LA tonight to face the 4-8 Kings. The Canucks have been scoring in bunches of late, with 17 goals in their last three games. The Kings have struggled this year, especially when Jonathan Quick has been between the pipes. The Kings have lost three straight and six of their last eight games. They have allowed 15 goals in their last three games. The Kings are the worst team in the NHL in goals allowed, with a 4.1 gaa mark. Quick has a 4.48 GAA this season and just a .849 save percentage. This LA team has struggled this year and it won't get any easier tonight against a tough Canucks team. I look for this game to go OVER the total tonight. |
10-25-19 | Islanders v. Senators UNDER 6 | 4-2 | Push | 0 | 9 h 39 m | Show
Two teams that have been on the low end of the scoring pole this season meet tonight. The Ny Islanders are off to a 6-3 start to the season, but are averaging just 2.8 goals this season. The wins are because they allow even fewer at just 2.4 goals against. Meanwhile, Ottawa is just 2-7 on the season and averages just 2.4 goals per game. That ranks the Senators at just sixth from the bottom in the league in scoring with the Islanders just a few slots above that. The Islanders had to play yesterday and when that happens they are just 4-22 O/U their last 26 times playing on no rest. Islanders don't score much, nor do they allow much. I like the UNDER in this matchup tonight. Play UNDER. |
10-10-19 | Blues v. Senators UNDER 6 | 6-4 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 24 m | Show
Defending NHL Champion St Louis Blues started defense of their Cup with a opening day loss at home to Washington, 2-3. They have won their next two games over Dallas and Toronto, both by a 3-2 score. All three games have gone UNDER so far. Ottawa looking for its first win after a 0-2 start to the season. The Senators lost their opener at Toronto, 3-5 and then lost at home last time out vs the NY Rangers, 1-4. They have one over and one under thus far. Early in the season, but I like the Blues defense here and Ottawa still struggling a bit on offense early in the season. I'm going to play UNDER tonight. |
10-08-19 | Jets v. Penguins OVER 6.5 | 4-1 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 30 m | Show
The Winnipeg Jets are 1-2 to start the season. But more important, they have allowed the most goals in the West and tied for most allowed in the NHL with 14 goals. They have scored 10 goals in their 3 games for a total of 24 or an average of eight per game thus far. Pittsburgh is 1-1 after their two games and have scored eight goals in those two and given up five. The Penguins are off a 7-2 home win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. When the Jets face an Eastern team, they are 36-16-2 over/under/push their last 52 times. Jets should give up their share again here tonight. I'm going with the OVER. |
10-03-19 | Canadiens v. Hurricanes UNDER 6 | 3-4 | Loss | -114 | 6 h 10 m | Show
First game of the season for both of these clubs. Montreal finished the preseason with a 5-2 record in their seven games, scoring 21 goals and giving up 18 goals. The Carolina Hurricanes finished 2-3-1 in their six games with just 11 goals scored and 12 goals allowed. I am taking this game UNDER tonight. I feel the total is a bit too high considering that Carolina neither scored many nor gave up many goals in the preseason. Montreal has played decent defense also. Early in these games I like to look for unders and I think I found one here on Thursday. Play UNDER. |
10-02-19 | Senators v. Maple Leafs OVER 6 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 26 h 44 m | Show
Toronto always one of the higher scoring teams in the NHL and one of the worst defensive teams too. Ottawa is no slouch when it comes to scoring, so you put these two teams together and it's no surprise the oddsmaker has slapped a 6 or 6.5 total on this game. For me, I see 8 or more goals in this one. Toronto tied for the most points in the preseason and had a +10 goal differential. Can't really rely on preseason numbers, so I'm going by what I know these teams do best and that's score. Opening night, lets stick with what they both do and lets go OVER the total. |
04-23-19 | Golden Knights v. Sharks OVER 5.5 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 12 h 43 m | Show
Game 7 of this first round playoff series between the LV Knights and SJ Sharks moves back to San Jose. The Sharks were down 1-3 in this series and won game five in San Jose and then game six in Las Vegas. Game six went into two overtimes before the Sharks scored to win 2-1. I like the over in this game tonight. We saw our low scoring, defensive game in last time out but in San Jose these games usually open up quite a bit. These teams have gone over in six of the last eight meetings. However, in San Jose, they have gone over in five straight. Play the over tonight. |
04-15-19 | Predators v. Stars OVER 5 | 3-2 | Push | 0 | 10 h 11 m | Show
Game 2 here of this best of seven series with Dallas up 1-0 over the Predators. The Stars came back from an 0-1 deficit in game one to win 3-2. The Predators lack of effort in game one needs to improve here tonight. The Predators defense of Bonino, Sissons and Watson had a particularly bad game including penalties and ineffective penalty killing. These teams have gone OVER in their last six meetings in Dallas. While these teams have looked better on the UNDER side of the tally sheet this year, I'm taking the OVER here tonight. I'm looking for a improved Nashville contest and we have a lot total of just five. Take the OVER. |
02-05-18 | Lightning v. Oilers OVER 5.5 | 2-6 | Win | 100 | 23 h 46 m | Show
Tampa Bay has been a good over team of late, with six of their last eight road games going over and eight of their last 11 as a favorite. The Lightning have scored 6, 11, 4, 6 and seven in their last five games. Meanwhile, Edmonton has allowed 12 goals over their last three games. They have also scored seven in their last two games. I like today's game to go OVER. |
12-15-17 | Hurricanes v. Sabres UNDER 5.5 | 5-4 | Loss | -135 | 9 h 31 m | Show
Carolina Hurricanes (12-11-4-3) take on the Buffalo Sabres (8-18-5-1) tonight. The Sabres have had a rough season thus far, winning just eight games on the season and just two in their last 10 games. They have been a good bet for UNDER players, going OVER just one time in their last 10 games. In addition, the Sabres are just 1-10 O/U in their last 11 home games and 4-15-2 O/U in their last 21 overall. Carolina has also been a good UNDER play of late, with a 1-6-1 O/U mark their last eight and 1-6-1 their last eight road games. I'm sticking with the UNDER here tonight. |
12-11-17 | Canucks v. Jets OVER 5.5 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
The Vancouver Canucks (14-12-2-2) plays at Winnipeg (17-8-5-0) tonight. The Canucks have been a good over team vs the Central division, going 10-4-1 O/U their last 15. In addition, in the role of the dog, the Canucks are 7-3 O/U their last 10 games. The Jets are 17-13 O/U on the season and 8-3 O/U in their last 11 home games. The Jets are one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL, averaging 3.37 gpg. The Jets will try and snap a three-game losing streak tonight, allowing 15 goals in those three losses. Good news is that the Jets return home where they have scored 19 goals in their last three games. I have had good luck betting Winnipeg over this year, especially at home. Play the OVER. |
12-07-17 | Senators v. Kings UNDER 5.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -130 | 12 h 49 m | Show
The Ottawa Senators have been struggling, going just 1-9 in their last 10 games and 1-7 when the dog. Tonight they take on the 18-8-3-0 LA Kings. The Kings have been playing very well because of an excellent defense. The Kings are 1-9 O/U in their last 10 games as a favorite and 2-10-1 O/U their last 13 games overall. The Kings allow a very low 2.17 gpg. In addition, the Kings have now allowed more than two goals in six straight games and eight of their last 10 games. LA should control this game tonight with their defense and therefore I like this one to go UNDER |
12-05-17 | Devils v. Blue Jackets UNDER 5.5 | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
The New Jersey Devils (15-7-2-2) take on the Columbus Blue Jackets (17-9-0-1) tonight. The Blue Jackets have been one of the better under teams, going 2-8 O/U their last 10 as the favorite and 2-7 O/U the the last nine vs the Eastern Conference. Columbus is one of the best defensive scoring teams in the league, allowing just 2.41 gpg average. The Jackets rely a lot on their defense as they average just 2.8 gpg on offense. Case in point, Columbus has allowed two goals or less in eight of the last 10 games. The Devils have scored four goals in their last three games. Don't expect a lot of goals in this one either as this game is an UNDER |
12-04-17 | Sharks v. Capitals UNDER 5.5 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
San Jose has been a very good under team this year, posting a 6-18 O/U record. Washington has been more of an over team with a 15-12 O/U record. The Sharks have gone under in seven of their last nine road games. Washington has gone under eight times in their last 11 following a win. The Sharks average 2.6 gpg while the Caps average 2.9 gpg. Defensively the Sharks are better at 2.24 gpg allowed compared to 3.07 by the Capitals. The Sharks know they can't get into a scoring match with the Capitals, so I look for this game to go under as San Jose takes the tempo. Play UNDER. |
12-03-17 | Senators v. Jets OVER 6 | 0-5 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 10 m | Show
Two over teams meet here this evening as the Ottawa Senators take on the Winnipeg Jets. The Senators have gone over in 14 of their 24 games this season. In addition, Ottawa is 7-2 O/U in their last nine road games and 8-3-1 O/U when installed as the dog in a contest. The Jets have gone over in 14 of their 26 games this season. Both teams average at least three goals per game while the Winnipeg averages 4.25 gpg at home this season. The Jets have also scored 14 goals in their last two home games. I like this one to go OVER today |
11-29-17 | Jets v. Avalanche OVER 6 | 2-3 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 6 m | Show
The 15-6-3-0 Winnipeg Jets travel to Colorado tonight to face the 11-9-1-1 Avalanche. I'm looking to take the OVER in tonight's contest. The Avs have been very good for overs, going over in 16 of their 22 games this season. The Jets have also leaned to the OVER with 14 of their 24 games going OVER. In fact, the Jets have gone over in 17 of their last 21 against the Central division. The Avs are 12-3 O/U the last 15 as a underdog and are 12-4 O/U the last 16 home games. Both teams average right at 3.3 goals per game this year. The Jets have the better defense (2.67 gpg) while Colorado allows 3.18 gpg. This game has OVER written all over it. Play OVER tonight. |
11-27-17 | Blue Jackets v. Canadiens UNDER 5.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show
The Columbus Blue Jackets are having a very good season at 15-7-0-1 and travel tonight to take on Montreal 9-12-2-1. The Blue Jackets have been a good under team this year, going under in 13 of their 23 games. They have been even better under lately, going 1-7 O/U their last eight games. Montreal is 11-11 O/U on the season, but 6-15-5 O/U/P the lat 26 against the Metropolitan division. And, when we look at head to head, these teams are 7-15-2 O/U/P their last 24 meetings. Montreal is one of the lower scoring teams in the NHL and will have trouble tonight against a very good defensive Columbus squad. Take the UNDER. |
11-24-17 | Canucks v. Devils UNDER 5.5 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 50 m | Show
I will be on the under in this contest. The Vancouver Canucks are 11-8-2-1 and 11-11 O/U on the season. The Canucks average just 2.8 goals per game this year. They have won two straight games and gone over in four straight. New Jersey has lost three of their last four games. The Devils have scored more than two goals in just two of their last eight games. The last two meetings between these teams have resulted in two goals and three goals. That's the kind of game I expect here on Friday, a low scoring contest. Play the UNDER |
11-22-17 | Maple Leafs v. Panthers OVER 6 | 1-2 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 59 m | Show
The 14-8-0-0 Toronto Maple Leafs head South to play the 7-11-1-1 Florida Panthers. Toronto saw it's six game win streak snapped on Monday with a 4-1 loss at home to Arizona. The Leafs look to rebound tonight. The Panthers have lost two straight and seven of their last 10 games. Both teams are good over bets, with Toronto coming in at 11-8 O/U on the season and Florida at 12-8 O/U on the year. The Leafs are also 6-1-1 O/U in their last eight games. Toronto is the third highest scoring team in the NHL (3.6 gpg) and fifth on the power play. I like the over here tonight. Enjoy the show. |
11-20-17 | Blue Jackets v. Sabres OVER 5.5 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 49 m | Show
The 12-7-0-1 Columbus Blue Jackets travel to Buffalo to face the 5-11-3-1 Sabres. Columbus has won two straight after a four game losing streak. This club has also been streaky with their totals, putting together both UNDER and OVERs in a row. Meanwhile, the Sabres have lost four in a row and have allowed at least three goals or more in four of their last five games. The Blue Jackets rank fifth in the NHL in shots on goal, though only 20th in scoring (2.8 gpg). Buffalo is not a good defensive team, ranking 28th in goals against (3.5 gpg) and 27th in penalty minutes. Columbus actually averages more goals on the road then it does at home, evidenced by their 3.10 goals per game average. I like the OVER here tonight, mainly because this Buffalo team takes a lot of penalties and gives up a lot of goals. Play OVER |
11-19-17 | Islanders v. Hurricanes OVER 6 | 2-4 | Push | 0 | 8 h 31 m | Show
The 11-6-1-1 Ny Islanders travel to Carolina to face the 8-6-2-2 Panthers. The Islanders are 9-4 in their last 13 games while Carolina is just 3-8 in their last 11 home games. The OVER is 7-1 in New York's last eight games following a win. The Islander offense has been hitting on all cylanders, averaging 3.7 goals per game this year. In fact, they have scored 16 goals in their last three games. Carolina has seen their goal scoring go up in their last five games, they have a 3.60 gpg average during that span. This game promises to be a high scoring affair. I'm taking the OVER here on Sunday. |
11-12-17 | Lightning v. Ducks OVER 5.5 | 2-1 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 22 m | Show
The best team in hockey is probably the hot Tampa Bay Lightning, who sit at 13-2-1 entering play today. They will face the Anaheim Ducks who have had a mediocre start to their season at 7-6-2-1. Tampa is now 21-6 in their last 27 games overall and 11-4 their last 15 following up on a win. Not Anaheim, they are just 2-8 their last 10 games following up on a win. Tampa is averaging a loft 4.0 goals per game this year while allowing 2.5. The Ducks defense is allowing 2.9. The Lightning have gone over in three straight games, scoing 15 goals in the process. The Ducks have scored seven goals in their last two games. LIghtning have lots of offensive power and the Ducks just not the defensive team they once where. I'm taking the OVER here on Sunday. |
11-09-17 | Coyotes v. Blues OVER 5.5 | 2-3 | Loss | -120 | 18 h 30 m | Show
Arizona off to a terrible start at 2-13-2-0 including a 1-8-1 away record. They are a good over team though, with 11 of their 16 games going over this season. The big reason for this is the 4.00 goals allowed by the Coyotes this season. Neither Antti Raanta nor Scott Wedgewood have done well between the pipes for the Coyotes. St Louis is having a great start at 12-3-1-0 in their first 16 games. The Blues average 3.2 goals per game this year and allow 2.13 gpg. Can't lay the big price here with the Blues, but I can play the OVER, which I think St Louis could almost make themselves. Play the OVER. |
11-06-17 | Golden Knights v. Maple Leafs OVER 6.5 | 3-4 | Win | 104 | 9 h 12 m | Show
The 9-4 Vegas Golden Knights are facing their first big road trip of the season and it didn't start so well with three straight losses. However, the Knights did get a win last game out at Ottawa, 5-4. Now they have to face the high scoring Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs defense hasn't been all that good either, allowing 11 goals in their last two games and losing five of their last six. The Knights are down to their fourth goalie in Maxime Legace. Legace did get his first win though against the Senators. Both of these clubs averaging well over three goals per game. The Vegas defense is better, allowing an average of 2.85 while Toronto allows 3.67 gpg. I'm going to stay away from a side here and rather play on the OVER which I think these teams should easily go past. |
11-02-17 | Golden Knights v. Bruins OVER 6 | 1-2 | Loss | -104 | 10 h 32 m | Show
Vegas Golden Knights got off to a great start in their inaguarl season, however they have now lost their top three goalies to injuries and have to raid their lower minor leagues for someone to man the pipes. This has been hard, as the fourth stringer started against the Rangers and led 3-2 before giving up four unaswered goals. The Knights honeymoon might be over, especially without a top line goalie. Price to high to play the Bruins here, but the OVER is ripe for the pickings. Play the OVER> |
10-23-17 | Kings v. Maple Leafs OVER 6 | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 19 h 27 m | Show
These two clubs are red-hot to start the season, with the LAK Kings at 6-0-1 and Toronto at 6-2-0. Both clubs have been winning and scoring. The Kings have 27 goals in seven games while Toronto has 37 goals in their eight. The difference coming in goals allowed. The Leafs have allowed 28 while the Kings have allowed just 14. The Kings are 1st in the league in both goals allowed and in Penalty killing, while coming in 3rd in scoring. Toronto is the top scoring team and third in power play. Does a great defense beat a great offense? I find this more true in playoff situations. However, with two of the top scoring teams in the NHL here, I'm taking the OVER. |
10-18-17 | Blackhawks v. Blues OVER 5.5 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 19 h 42 m | Show
The two best teams to start the season in the Western Conference are the Hawks and Blues. Chicago has started 4-1-1 and St Louis is 4-2. The Blues play just their second home game after winning their first at home vs Dallas on Oct 7, 4-2. Chicago is scoring in bunches, averaging 4.2 gpg (4th). They are also playing good defense, allow the 3rd least goals per game (2.2). Chicago is coming off a 2-1 OT win at home against Nashville. Goalie Crawford saving at a 97% clip thus far. This is usually a high scoring matchup, evidenced by their 7-3-6 O/U record their last 16 meetings in Chicago. I like these clubs to get some goals here tonight. I'm playing the OVER. |
10-17-17 | Maple Leafs v. Capitals OVER 6 | 2-0 | Loss | -120 | 19 h 45 m | Show
Expect the puck to be flying here tonight as two of the highest scoring teams in the NHL face off. The Maple Leafs are 4-1 on the season and have scored 26 goals in their five games while giving up 19 goals. The Capitals are 3-2-1 in their six games and scored 23 goals and allowed 22. The Caps are 5-1 O/U in their last six while the Leafs are 5-0 O/U last five. Both clubs should find the net a lot tonight as this game goes OVER. |
10-12-17 | Wild v. Blackhawks OVER 5.5 | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 23 h 32 m | Show
The Chicago Blackhawks are 3-0-1 to start their season and have scored the most goals thus far in the NHL (21). Their loss came in OT to the Maple Leafs last game, 4-3. Minnesota still looking for its first win after a 0-1-1 start. The Wild have allowed nine goals in just their two games, not a good omen here against the high scoring Hawks. Early in the season I look to stick with some trends and that's the Blackhawks scoring goals. Take the OVER here on Thursday. |
10-05-17 | Predators v. Bruins UNDER 5.5 | 3-4 | Loss | -125 | 29 h 2 m | Show
Nashville wrapped-up their preseason with a 2-2-2 record, scoring 17 goals and allowing 20. The Boston Bruins finished with a 4-3-0 mark, scoring just 15 goals and allowing 18. Neither team will rely on scoring, rather a stingy defense. These teams have gone UNDER in their last four meetings and have a 2-8-1 UNDER mark in the last 11 meetings in Boston. Predators are just 1-6 in their last seven trips to Boston and the home team is 12-2 in the last 14 meetings. Good spot for the UNDER here on Thursday. |
10-04-17 | Maple Leafs v. Jets OVER 5.5 | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 27 h 33 m | Show
Opening game of the NHL season has the Jets hosting the Leafs. While I don't put a lot in preseason hockey, the Leafs did finish as one of the better teams. Toronto was 5-2-1 in preseason action and had the most goals in the Atlantic division with 25. The Jets didn't do quite as well, posting a 2-3-2 record and scoring 17 goals. The home team has dominated this series, going 5-1 in the last six meetings. The over has also been a good bet, with the last five meetings going OVER and 20 of the last 27 going OVER.
