At 8:30 pm, on Monday, in the CROWN Tournament, our selection is on the Arizona State Sun Devils + the points over Nebraska.  Both of these teams come into this game on 5-game losing streaks.  Since 1990, in post-season, non-conference tournaments, favorites have covered just 40% when they lost their five previous games.  That doesn't bode well for Nebraska, here.  Additionally, the Big 12 Conference is 18-11-1 ATS vs. the Big 10 in the post-season.  I'll happily take the points with the Sun Devils, as they fall into a 48-13 ATS Tourney system of mine.  Take Arizona State.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. 

At 2:20 pm, on Sunday, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Tennessee.  We were 3-1 on Friday, including winners on the Under in the Houston/Purdue game, and the Under in the Tennessee/Kentucky game.  We also cashed the Under in the Michigan State/Ole Miss game, but lost on Houston.  In this game, we're going to focus on the Side, rather than the total.  Houston failed to cover the spread in its 62-60 triumph, while the Volunteers blew out Kentucky 78-65.  And that was the Vols' 2nd straight point spread win, as it also got the $$$ in its 9-point win over UCLA.  I like Houston here, as the Cougars are 41-19 ATS vs. foes off back-to-back ATS wins, provided Houston was not off back-to-back ATS wins.  Additionally, #1 seeds have had the edge on #2 seeds in games where they've been favored by more than 2 points, going 25-10 SU and 22-13-1 ATS.  Take Houston.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:45 pm, our selection is on the Duke Blue Devils minus the points over Alabama. The Crimson Tide scored 113 points in their win over BYU. But BYU is currently ranked #82 in defensive efficiency by Ken Pomeroy at his KenPom.com website; Duke allows just 62.5 ppg, and ranks #5. So, Alabama is going to have a much more difficult time at the offensive end vs. the Blue Devils. But that's just the start of Alabama's problems in this match-up. Duke ranks #1 in offensive efficiency, while Alabama is all the way down at #28 in defense. We'll lay the points with Duke, as favorites of more than 6 points that give up less than 66 points per game, have cashed 57% in the post-season vs. foes that scored 84+ in their previous game. Likewise, in the Elite Eight round, underdogs of 6.5 (or more) points are a horrid 2-19 SU and 7-13-1 ATS after scoring 75+ points in the Sweet 16 round. Take Duke. At 10:05 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over Purdue.  The 24-11 Boilermakers have been installed as a big underdog vs. the #1-seeded Cougars.  And I don't want any part of Matt Painter's men in this role.  Indeed, the Boilers are a brutal 59-97-7 ATS as an underdog, priced from +2.5 to +12.5 points, including 7-14 ATS in the post-season.  Meanwhile, the Cougars have dominated .750 (or worse) foes, going 129-7 SU and 83-52 ATS the last 5 seasons (compared to 9-20 ATS their last 29 vs. foes with a W/L percentage greater than .750).  Take Houston.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:35 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers to go UNDER the total.  This is the 3rd meeting this season between these SEC Rivals.  And 6 of the last 8 meetings have gone UNDER the total.  Even better:  14 of the Wildcats' last 19 NCAA Tourney games have gone UNDER, while the Volunteers have gone UNDER in 6 of their last 9 NCAA Tourney games.  Take the UNDER.

At 7:05 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Mississippi Rebels and Michigan State Spartans to go UNDER the total.  The Spartans are 24-11 UNDER this season, including 3-1 UNDER in the post-season.  And the Spartans are 23-16 UNDER their last 39 post-season games.  Take the UNDER.

At 9:35 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Arizona Wildcats + the points over Duke.  The Blue Devils have been the 3rd best team relative to the point spread in this tourney, as they've covered the spread by an average of 10.75 ppg (Arkansas (+13.75) and Ole Miss (+13.5) rank as #1 and #2, respectively).  This fact, coupled with the Blue Devils' regular season success (it's 24-12 ATS on the season, and has covered by an average of 4.51 ppg), has led to a slightly-inflated point spread for today's game, based on my numbers.  I like the Wildcats dressed up as a revenge-minded underdog.  These two teams met in Tucson earlier this season, and the Blue Devils emerged victorious, 69-55, as a 1.5-point road underdog.  Arizona, however, is 14-2 SU and 11-4-1 ATS its last 16 games when playing with revenge.  And Duke is a dreadful 1-6 ATS its last seven (and 7-20-1 ATS its last 28) when playing a revenge-minded foe Duke defeated on the road earlier in the season, provided Duke wasn't favored by 15+ points in the current game.  Grab the points with the Wildcats.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:35 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Maryland Terrapins + the points over Florida.  Going into this tournament, Florida was a point spread darling.  It was 26-8 ATS, and covered the spread by an average of 5.73 ppg.  Unfortunately for its backers, Florida has burned money in this tournament, going 0-2 ATS.  I think that streak will reach three games on Thursday, as #1-seeds have gone 6-11-2 ATS in the Sweet 16 Round off back to back ATS losses.  Moreover, the Big 10 has dominated the SEC in the NCAA Tournament "in Vegas," as it's gone 16-7-1 ATS in the last 24 meetings.  And it's also 20-11-2 ATS the last 33 meetings when the Big 10 team has been the underdog.  Take Maryland.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 5 pm, on Wednesday, in the Championship game of the CBI Tournament, our selection is on the Illinois State Redbirds minus the points over Cleveland State.  The Vikings won and covered last night, as a 5-point favorite over Florida Gulf Coast, while the Redbirds failed to get the $$$ when they won by just 5, as a 7-point favorite over Incarnate Word.  The good news for the Redbirds here, is that they've cashed 61.1% in the post-season since 1990 when favored off an ATS loss.  Meanwhile the Vikings are a wallet-busting 9-22 ATS their last 31 as underdogs in the post-season (compared to 8-3 ATS their last 11 as a favorite).  Take the Redbirds minus the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 2:40 pm, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Baylor Bears + the points over the Duke Blue Devils.  The Bears fall into one of my favorite tourney systems, which has gone 23-1 ATS since 1995, as well as another tourney angle, which is 95-47 ATS.  I am well-aware that the Bears have been poor ATS this season.  But they've covered their last four.  And they're 9-2 ATS their last 11 as a post-season underdog of +7 (or more) points.  We'll take the double-digits with the Bears.

At 3 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Oklahoma St. Cowboys + the points over SMU.  The Cowboys have won the last 10 meetings with the Mustangs, and have gone 7-3 ATS.  We'll happily grab the points, as Oklahoma St. has cashed 63% as an underdog of more than 9 points off a double-digit win, while SMU has cashed just 25% in the post-season when laying 9+ points.  Take the Cowboys.

At 9:40 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee Volunteers minus the points over UCLA.  The #2-seeded Volunteers fall into a 73-45 ATS tourney system of mine, and we'll lay the points over the #7-seeded Bruins.  Since 1990, #2 seeds have dominated the #7-seeds, and especially when favored by 5 or more points, as they've gone 33-19 ATS.  Take Tennessee.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:40 pm, our selection is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs + the points over Houston.  The Bulldogs have won nine straight 2nd Round NCAA Tourney games, and I like them as an underdog in this matchup vs. the #1-seeded Cougars.  Indeed, since 1990, #8-seeds have gone 37-29 ATS in the NCAA Tourney vs. #1-seeds, including 8-1 ATS their last nine when the game was competitively priced with a point spread less than 6.  Take Gonzaga.

At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Auburn Tigers minus the points over Creighton.  The Tigers were on a torrid 20-1 run when they went into College Station on March 4.  We had a huge play on the Aggies +3.5 in that game, and they upset the then-#1-ranked Tigers, 83-72.  The Tigers have not found their footing since, and have gone 2-3 SU and 0-5 ATS.  I look for them to snap out of their funk on this Saturday evening, as the Bluejays are a soft 26-52 ATS vs. foes that failed to cover the spread by more than 10 points in their previous game.  Take Auburn.

At 6:10 pm, our selection is on the Texas Tech Red Raiders minus the points over Drake.  The favorite in match-ups between #3 and #11 seeds have gone 28-19 ATS.  Additionally, Drake falls into a negative 18-51 ATS system of mine which goes against certain teams off upset wins.  Lay the points with the Red Raiders.

At 5:15 pm, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Michigan.  The Aggies are seeded #4 and enter off a 9-point win over Yale.  Meanwhile, the Wolverines eked out a 3-point win over UC San Diego.  We played on both of these teams on Thursday, and will go with the Aggies in this match-up.  Since 1990, the favored team has gone 42-26 ATS in games played between #4 and #5 seeds.  Take the Aggies.

At 2:40 pm, our selection is on the Arkansas Razorbacks + the points over St. John's.  The 10th-seeded Razorbacks pulled off a mild upset when they upset Kansas, 79-72, on Thursday.  Now, they'll battle with the #2-seeded Red Storm.  We'll grab the points with Arkansas, as #10-seeds have dominated #2-seeds when they were getting 9 or less points, going 26-10-2 ATS since 1992, including a perfect 6-0-1 ATS when their opponent was off back to back SU/ATS wins.  St. John's is 1-7 ATS its last eight NCAA Tourney games.  And it also falls into negative 3-27 and 0-16 ATS systems of mine.  Finally, the Red Storm are riding a 10-game win streak, and have won their last four games by 21, 16, 16 and 30 points.  Unfortunately, favorites of less than 16 points (or PK) have gone 24-45 ATS in the post-season off four straight wins by more than 11 points.  Take the Razorbacks.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:10 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Troy.  The Trojans pulled off an upset over Arkansas St, 94-81, to win the Sun Belt Tournament.  But off that big triumph, we'll fade the Trojans in the opening round of the Big Dance.  Troy is a terrible 31-54 ATS off an upset win, including 17-41 ATS when it owned a W/L percentage greater than .400 (and, then, 3-11 ATS vs. non-conference foes).  Meanwhile, Kentucky was buried, 99-70, by Alabama in the SEC Tournament.  I like the 'Cats to bounce back, as they're 37-20-1 ATS in the post-season off a point spread loss, and 22-11 ATS after giving up 90+ points in their previous game.  And Kentucky also falls into a 53-13 ATS Tourney system of mine which plays on certain teams off point spread defeats.  Take the Wildcats.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 12:40 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide minus the points over Robert Morris.  The Crimson Tide were routed, 104-82, by Florida in the SEC Tourney.  The good news for 'Bama is that it now will face Horizon League member, Robert Morris.  The SEC has dominated the Horizon League, including 12-1 SU and 10-3 ATS when the SEC team was off a SU loss.  Moreover, Alabama falls into an 83-40-8 ATS Tourney system of mine.  Lay the points.

At 12:40 pm, on Friday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the UNDER in the Alabama/Robert Morris game.  I like playing on Unders in the tournament when both the point spread and the over/under line are high.  Indeed, NCAA Tourney games have gone 21-7 UNDER their last 28 when the O/U line was greater than 151, and the point spread was 11 (or higher).  Additionally, the UNDER falls into a 43-16 Totals system of mine.  Take the UNDER.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:25 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Yale.  The Aggies were upset, 94-89, by rival, Texas, in the Big 12 Tourney.  We'll take A&M to rebound on Thursday, as it has gone 31-7 ATS in non-conference games off a loss by less than 9 points (including 16-0 ATS when priced from +3 to -12 points).  Take the Aggies.

At 7:10 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Kansas Jayhawks minus the points over Arkansas.  Bill Self's Jayhawks were one of the favorites in the preseason to win the title (along with Duke and UConn).  But only the Blue Devils among those three teams lived up to their billing.  The Jayhawks went 21-12 this season, and were 15-18 ATS, including an 88-77 loss to Arizona in the Big 12 Tourney.  I like the Jayhawks to bounce back in this first-round game, as they're 46-27 ATS in the post-season off an ATS loss (including 22-7 ATS their last 29 when favored by 9 or less).  Lay the points with the Jayhawks.

At 1:30 pm, on Thursday, in the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Wisconsin Badgers minus the points over Montana.  The Badgers were upset by Michigan in the Big 10 Championship game, 59-53.  Wisky is a solid 19-0 SU and 13-4-2 ATS off a SU/ATS loss, when favored by 8+ points vs. non-conference foes off a SU win.  Meanwhile, Montana is 7-12 ATS vs. non-conference foes off an upset loss, including 1-4 ATS in the post-season.  The Big 10 has dominated the Big Sky in the post-season, going 4-1 SU/ATS.  Take the Badgers.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 11 pm, our selection is on the San Francisco Dons minus the points over Utah Valley.  The Dons have been dominant in their main home gym -- War Memorial Gym -- this season, as they've gone 16-0 (their lone home loss was at Chase Center vs. Gonzaga).  They'll welcome the Wolverines to War Memorial on Wednesday.  The Wolves were strong at home this season, as they covered the spread by an average of 10.5 ppg.  But on the road, they were pedestrian, and covered by 0.21 ppg (for a 10.28 home/road point spread differential).  Likewise, the Dons were also better at home (which bodes well for them tonight), as their home/road point spread differential was +5.07 ppg this season.  Take San Francisco.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the North Texas Mean Green minus the points over Furman.  North Texas was upset by UAB in the AAC Conference Tourney.  We'll take North Texas minus the points, as Furman is a poor 7-12 ATS vs. foes off upset losses, including 1-4 ATS in non-conference games.  Take the Mean Green minus the points.

At 6:40 pm, on Wednesday, in the "First Four" round of the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers + the points over American.  The Mountaineers are currently riding a 6-game ATS win streak.  And underdogs have gone 10-4-1 ATS in the First Four round of the NCAA Tourney when they were on a 3-game (or better) ATS win streak.  The Mountaineers also play with revenge from two losses to the Eagles over the previous two seasons.  Take Mount St. Mary's.

At 8 pm, in the NIT Tournament, our selection is on the Middle Tennessee St. Blue Raiders minus the points over Chattanooga.  These cross-state rivals are located just 101 miles apart.  They've met 7 times in recent years, with the home team winning 5 of 7.  We'll lay the points with Middle Tennessee, as it is 44-34-5 ATS in non-conference home games, including 19-10-3 ATS off a SU loss.  Take the Blue Raiders.

At 6:40 pm, in the "First Four" round of the NCAA Tournament, our selection is on the St. Francis Red Flash + the points over Alabama St.  The Red Flash stunned Northeast Conference favorite, Central Connecticut St., 46-43, to punch their ticket into this NCAA Tourney.  We'll ride the momentum from that win, as NCAA underdogs (or PK) have gone 51-35-1 ATS following an upset win over a #1-seed to win their conference tourney.  Take St. Francis.

At 3:15 pm, our selection is on the Memphis Tigers minus the points over UAB.  The top-seeded Tigers defeated #3-seed UAB in both meetings this season, 100-77 in Birmingham, and 88-81 in Memphis.  It is often said by sports broadcasters that "it's tough to beat a team three times in a season."  Well, it actually is not -- particularly after you've won the first two.  Indeed, if one looks at College Basketball Conference Tourney Championship games, where one team won both regular season meetings, that team has gone 264-134, straight-up, in the title game.  So, I'm not concerned about UAB's double-revenge.  And especially given Memphis' domination in this series.  The Tigers are 30-6 straight-up, and 26-9-1 ATS vs. UAB in the last 36 meetings, including 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS when priced from -4.5 to -7.5 points.  And Memphis is 8-3 ATS its last 11 Tourney title games, including 5-1 ATS as the #1-seeded team.  Finally, the #3-seeds have gone 22-54 ATS their last 76 Conference Tourney Championship games.  Take Memphis.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Merrimack Warriors minus the points over Mount St. Mary's.  The Mountaineers upset Marist yesterday.  We'll fade the Mountaineers here, as Merrimack is a super 67% ATS vs. opponents off upset losses.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the UNDER in the Duke/North Carolina game.  The Tar Heels have played their last 3 games UNDER the total, including a match-up in Chapel Hill against these Blue Devils.  That prior meeting went UNDER by 9.5 point, while their next two games went under by 13 and 19.5 points, respectively.  We'll look for another low-scoring game on Friday.  Take the UNDER.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Seattle Redhawks minus the points over Abilene Christian.  The Redhawks were upset by the Wildcats, 75-59, last month.  The good news for Seattle is that it's cashed 66% when favored, and playing with revenge from a double-digit loss.  Lay the points tonight with Seattle.

At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Marist Red Foxes minus the points over Mount St. Mary's.  The Mountaineers defeated Marist, 62-52, on Saturday, and that was the fourth straight loss for the Red Foxes.  We'll take Marist to rebound tonight, as NCAA teams have cashed 56% in the post-season since 1990 off a double-digit loss, if they were playing the same opponent in back to back games.  Take the Red Foxes.

At 6 pm, our selection is on the Howard Bison minus the points over Morgan St.  The Bison have lost four straight since defeating the Bears, 87-81, on February 22.  And that was the 4th straight win by Howard against Morgan St.  Howard has cashed 64% as a favorite off back to back losses.  Lay the points with the Bison.

At 2:30 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin Badgers minus the points over Northwestern.  The Badgers were shocked, 86-75, by Penn State, in an upset loss at home last Saturday, as an 11.5-point favorite.  We'll take Wisky to bounce back, as it's gone 37-27 ATS off an upset loss at home.  Lay the points.

At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets + the points over Duke.  The Blue Devils were my preseason pick to win the National Championship (at 10-1 odds), and I still think they will win the title.  But this is a big number for an ACC Conference tourney game.  Dating back 35 seasons, ACC Conference tourney underdogs of +15 (or more) points have gone 12-7 ATS including 7-0 ATS since 2004.  Take Georgia Tech.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the American Eagles minus the points over Navy.  American lost to Navy two weeks ago, 68-60.  We'll take the Eagles to avenge that defeat as they fall into a 73% ATS system of mine which plays on certain revenge-minded teams in Conference Tourney title games.  Lay the points.

At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Georgetown Hoyas minus the points over DePaul.  This is a rematch of a game played last Saturday, and won by DePaul as an underdog.  We'll take Georgetown to avenge that defeat, as match-ups favor the upsettee when they play in the post-season for a second meeting in a row.  Take Georgetown to bounce back off its upset loss.

Echols Hall), going 4-11-1 ATS.  Grab the points with the Hawks.

At 5:00 pm, our selection is on the McNeese State Cowboys minus the points over Lamar.  The #1-seeded Cowboys are favored by double-digits over the #2-seeded Cardinals.  We'll lay the points, as top seeds have cashed 70.8% in the post-season since 1990 when favored by double-digits over #2 seeds.  Take McNeese.

At 3:00 pm, our selection is on the West Virginia Mountaineers minus the points over Colorado.  The Buffaloes did pull off an upset in the opening round of the Big 12 Tourney yesterday.  But they are still a brutal 39-57 ATS in the post-season.  Take West Virginia.

At 2:30 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over Notre Dame.  The Tar Heels are 10-0 ATS in their initial ACC Tourney game the last 10 post-seasons.  Lay the points.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Gonzaga Bulldogs minus the points over St. Mary's.  The Bulldogs are favored tonight vs. the Gaels, notwithstanding the fact St. Mary's swept the season series.  And that bodes well, given that WCC Conference teams have gone 97-60-6 ATS as a favorite of less than 13 points in this tournament since 2000, including 11-3 ATS if they lost each of the regular season's match-ups vs. their opponent.  Take Gonzaga.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the Central Connecticut Blue Devils minus the points over St. Francis Pa.  The Blue Devils have been one of the best point spread teams over the past two seasons.  They're 20-9 ATS this year, and 36-21-1 ATS over the past two seasons, including 13-6 ATS off a point spread defeat.  With the Blue Devils off an ATS loss on Saturday to Fairleigh-Dickinson, we'll lay the points this evening.

At 7 pm, our selection is on the NC Wilmington Seahawks minus the points over Delaware.  The Blue Hens have won 4 straight tournament games to reach the Championship match vs. the Seahawks.  And their last 3 wins have all come as an underdog.  Unfortunately, the Blue Hens are 8-16 ATS off 3 SU/ATS wins, while the Seahawks are 18-7 ATS in the post-season vs. foes off back to back SU/ATS wins.  Take Wilmington.

At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Texas El Paso Miners minus the points over Sam Houston St.  UTEP lost to these Bearkats, 89-87, just five days ago.  But it did win the season's first meeting, 81-72, in El Paso.  We'll take UTEP this evening, as it's 5-0 ATS in the post-season, when favored and playing with revenge, provided it split the season series, 1 game apiece.  Meanwhile, the Bearkats have cashed just 33% in the post-season when installed as an underdog.  And, finally, the Miners fall into a 19-4 ATS system of mine.  Lay the points.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Utah Tech Trailblazers minus the points over Southern Utah.  The Trailblazers will have the benefit of playing this WAC Tourney game on their home court.  And they also play with double-revenge from 2 losses to the Thunderbirds earlier this season.  WAC Conference teams off a SU loss have covered 64.1% in the Tourney if they were playing with double-revenge.  So, that bodes well for Utah Tech today.  Additionally, the Thunderbirds managed just 39 points in their previous game -- a 23-point loss at home to Seattle.  Off that debacle, we'll fade Southern Utah, as NCAA road teams have covered just 37.9% in the post-season off a game where they scored 45 or less points.  Lay the points with Utah Tech.  Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
