Charlotte at Denver 8:00 ET

Hornets (+) over Nuggets - I understand that Denver is without their ‘big guy’ but they have been holding their own and have made a decent account for themselves winning their last four and six of seven. The odds maker believes that Charlotte has a good chance of winning this game which is something they haven’t done against the Nuggets since December 2021 a span of eight games. This is the fifth road game on this west coast trip for the Hornets who have alternated wins and losses and are supposed to win today. Take CHARLOTTE!

LA Lakers at Portland 10:00 ET

Trailblazers over Lakers - I had to do a double take when I saw the line of this game with the feeling that Los Angeles should be the favorite, Los Angeles is looking to get to 10 games over .500 while the Blazers are struggling to get to the break-even point. These two have met twice before November 3rd and they split those games each winning on the other sides court. This time the home team take advantage. Take PORTLAND!

Minnesota at San Antonio 8:00 ET

T’wolves (+) over Spurs - One game separates these two clubs with San Antonio having the 28 wins to 27 win advantage. But, it is Minnesota that has won the past five meetings and eight of the past 10 encounters. In a scheduling oddity this is the third meeting of the season and the fifth straight meeting being played in Minnesota. The Wolves Anthony Edwards is a game time decision. Take MINNESOTA!

Boston at Atlanta 7:30 ET

Hawks (+) over Celtics - Atlanta returns home after four straight road games the last two against the Lakers and Trailblazers and have actually played eight of nine on the road. It has been a year to the day since last these two met a game that the Hawks won along with four of the past five meetings. Although, the Hawks have dropped their last two games and they feel that ‘less is more’ as the team rejoices the Trae Young trade. Take ATLANTA!

Charlotte at LA Lakers 10:30 ET

Hornets (+) over Lakers - Los Angeles ended a 3-game slide with a 25-point win over Atlanta on Tuesday while struggling Charlotte has dropped 3-of-4. The Lakers (-8.5) won the first meeting in Charlotte 121-111 and have won 5-of-6 head-to-head. The Lakers LeBron James is back in action while Austin Rivers remains sidelined. Take CHARLOTTE!

Boston at Miami 7:30 ET

Heat (+) over Celtics - Miami to me is like the Pittsburgh Steelers on the NFL. They win when not expected and will take you just so far before falling. Boston is not the threat that they have been because of major injuries and defections. Celtics have won seven of eight meetings including a 129-116 win in December. The thing here is that the Heat have better coach and for the most part give a professional effort. Take MIAMI

Utah at Chicago 8:00 ET

Jazz (+) over Bulls - The Utah Jazz are one of those bottom feeders who have taken advantage of the bookmakers numbers. Although winning only 14 of 39 games the Jazz are a more than respectable 22-17 ATS. The Jazz suffered their worst franchise loss (55 points) on Saturday, but rebounded for a win Monday over the Cavaliers. Chicago has won 5-of-6 meetings but right now is hurting with players sidelined. Take UTAH!

Toronto at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Raptors - It is hard to believe that Indiana played for the NBA title last season but, with a pair of true superstars sidelined the Pacers have not been competitive losing 13 of their first 14 games. Toronto took advantage of Indy early winning twice in mid November. But, the Pacers have won their last three games. With the Raptors who finished 54 games under .500 the past two seasons gives the Pacers a decent shot. Take INDIANA!

Cleveland at Philadelphia 7:00 ET

Cavaliers +) over 76ers - I can not remember a game in all my years of handicapping such dramatic difference in ATS records. Usually, the ATS record will vary and after all games are added up the individual team records end up moving toward the middle (.500). Although Cleveland is above .500 SU their ATS record is one of the worst I have ever witnessed with their 12-29 ATS record they should ‘cover’ a lot of spreads the second half of the season. Philadelphia. has as many wins as the Cavaliers (22) but they have a ATS record 24-14. The 76ers should also move toward the middle in the second half of the year. Take CLEVELAND!

Portland at Golden State 11:00 ET

Warriors (-) over Trailblazers - When comparing these two clubs the stats say that they are just about the same with Portland (23-17) holding a huge ATS advantage over the Warriors (17-23). These two have met three times this season and the Trailblazers surprisingly enough have won and covered all three. The Warriors has won the previous seven meetings and tonight they return to form. Take GOLDEN STATE!

San Antonio at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET

Thunder (-) over Spurs - Defending Champion Oklahoma City was off to a fast start and many were betting that they would set the NBA single season record for total wins. But, a few injuries and reality set in and now they seem to be back on track winning 7-of-9. San Antonio have met the Thunder three times already this season and posted three wins and covers. OKC is0-5 ATS in the last five games overall. That shit stops tonight as the Thunder run away from the Spurs. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!

Denver at New Orleans 7:30 ET

Pelicans (+) over Nuggets - Denver is without their big man Jokic but it has not affected their play very much as the continue their all round good performances winning three-of their last four. What can be said about New Orleans, they are stuck in a extended rut and haven’t shown any signs of coming out of their situation as even getting the overall No. 1 draft pick doesn’t seem to help. The Pelicans have lost 10 of 11 and twice to the Nuggets when Jokic collected 50 points, 23 rebounds and 22 assists in those victories but he will be missing tonight. Tazke NEW ORLEANS!

Philadelphia at Toronto 7:30 ET

76ers (-) over Raptors - Toronto has made huge strides since the NBA season’s onset. The Raptors have won the past two meetings and six of the past seven meetings between the two squads. Philadelphia had won five of six up to yesterday’s 116-115 lost in Toronto and they fell without Embiid. Look for Paul George and Joel to return to action after time management rest. Take PHILADELPHIA!

San Antonio at Boston 8:00 ET

Celtics (+) over Spurs - This is the first meeting of the season between these two with Boston having won the past six encounters with or without Wembanyama in the lineup. San Antonio  is off of a win over the Lakers but have dropped 4-of-7 overall while the Celtics are off of win over the Raptors and are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games.Take BOSTON!

New York at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Knicks (-) over Suns - After dropping four straight New York rebounded with a home 123-111 win over the LA Clippers on Wednesday and begin a west coast swing without Josh Hart. Miles McBride will replace Hart and be assigned to guard James Harden. Phoenix returns home after going 7-2 in their last nine with 7-of-9 games on the road. The Suns are 9-1 ATS in last 10 games and open as an underdog…smells. Take NEW YORK!

LA Clippers at Brooklyn 7:30 ET

Nets (+) over Clippers - I sorta feel like they have posted the wrong side as the favorite. These two have mirror records for the road and away games with Los Angeles being 4-14 SU on the road and Brooklyn is 5-14 SU at home. The is the first meeting of the season between these two and the Clippers have won the past three including a sweep last year. LA has won 7-of-9 and might seem to be slighted here but not by the Nets. Take BROOKLYN!

Dallas at Utah 9:00 ET

Mavericks (-) over Jazz - the first thing that caught my eye about this game is that Dallas is actually favored on the road as this is a team with a 4-12 SU away record. This is the second meeting of the year in Utah with the Jazz (+1) winning the December meeting 140-133 in OT. This time around the Mavericks are favored by a healthy spread and it tells the difference of where the clubs were then and where they are now. Tale DALLAS!

Cleveland at Minnesota 8:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Timberwolves - These two clubs are similar in a number of ways. Although Minnesota has a better overall record by three games their point spread result fall in line with both teams under .500. Cleveland is 8-8 SU on the road while the Timberwolves are 8-11 ATS at home. This is the first meeting of the season between these two with the Cavaliers taking the two meetings last season covering both games as favorites. Minny has won the last three while the Cavs have won 4-of-5 although 0-3 ATS in last three. Internal issues surround the Wolves…take CLEVELAND!

Milwaukee at Golden State 10:00 ET

Warriors (-) over Bucks - Milwaukee ended a three game slide against the Warriors with a home 120-110 win in late October as a 7.5-point underdog. The Bucks are off of a win at Sacramento and have won four of their last five SU. Golden State was handed a one point 103-102 loss at the LA Clippers last time out. That contest in the only road game for the Warriors out of 11 games. Take GOLDEN STATE!

LA Lakers at New Orleans 8:00 ET

Pelicans (+) over Lakers - Six of the Pelicans eight wins have come at home and they are actually 20-16-1 ATS over spite an 8-29 SU record. Los Angeles has been better than most on the road winning 12 of 17 and are a more than respectable 19-14 ATS on the season. The Lakers have won the last eight meetings including twice already this season with New Orleans getting the cover the last time out although they have dropped their last seven games SU overall. Two clubs moving in opposite directions clash…take NEW ORLEANS!

Denver at Brooklyn 3:30 ET

Nets (+) over Nuggets - Denver who has defeated Brooklyn five straight times is playing their fifth consecutive game on the road. The Nuggets lead the NBA in field goal percentage and are shooting over 50% from the floor. They have lost 3-of-4 and they are without Nikola Jokic for about a month and Michael Porter has missed the past two games and the Nuggets are 0-6 without him. Take BROOKLYN!

Atlanta at Toronto 7:30  ET

Hawks (+) over Raptors - Toronto has won and covered the past four meetings including twice already this season. It has been two months since their last encounter and they will meet again in Atlanta in two days. The Hawks have won their last two games after a miserable seven game losing streak when the failed to covered the spread going 0-7. Toronto just lost to Denver as a 7-point home favorite who were without Nikola Jokic. Take ATLANTA!

Memphis at LA Lakers 10:40 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Lakers- Los Angeles has won the past four meetings including one this season 117-112 as a 2-point favorite in Memphis. The Grizzlies have dropped their last two games and have lost four of their past six games overall. The Lakers have lost four of their last five games and are down a pair of starters and fall short here. Take MEMPHIS!

Denver at Cleveland 8:00 ET

Cavaliers (-) over Nuggets - We all love blow out wins and I truly believe that we have a chance for one here. This is the first meeting of the year between these two and Cleveland won both encounters last season. Denver is in a bad spot without superstar Nikola Jokic the next month or so, and their back-up center strained his calf last time out and will not be available. The Cavaliers are picking up steam after a slow start to the season. Take CLEVELAND!

San Antonio at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Spurs - This is the first meeting of the year between these two and split both games last season. San Antonio will be without center Victor Wembanyama will not play tonight because of a hyper-extended knee. The Pacers are also battling injuries and enter this contest on a ten game losing streak. Despite the losing record 6-27 the Pacers are 10-8 ATS at home. Take INDIANA!

Miami at Detroit 7:00 ET

Heat (+) over Pistons - I don’t know if it is just me but, I feel like the Heat are not taken all that seriously by the general public and the league itself. It seems that every season they aren’t given much of a chance to be all that good and yet they are a monster ATS in big games. Miami has won their last three games but have lost the past four meetings against the Pistons including a 138-135 win as a 4-point underdog in Miami back in November. Detroit has played five straight games on the road and seven of last eight. This is and just their second home game in 22 days. Too many things to do after returning home during the holidays. Too many distractions. Take MIAMI!

New Orleans at Chicago 7:00 ET

Pelicans (+) over Bulls - In a surprise New Orleans has won four straight in the series between these two with the Pelicans taking two meetings already  this season. The Pels have lost four in-a-row after having won five straight. Chicago has dropped their last two games after a mini five -game win streak of their own. Zion Williamson has returned to the lineup for the Pelicans and he is the difference. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Phoenix at Cleveland 3:30 ET

Suns (+) over Cavaliers - This is the first meeting of the season and Phoenix has had the best of it between these two squads winning seven of the past 10 meetings. The Suns have won their last four games including the last three on the road. Cleveland who had an outrageous start to the season in 2024-25 and this year not so much going 10-24 ATS. Take PHOENIX!

Detroit at LA Lakers 10:30 ET

Piston (+) over Lakers - This will be the first meeting of the season between these two with Detroit having won the past two encounters. The Pistons are playing their fifth straight road game and have had just one home game in their last eight games played since December 12. The Motor City gang has lost their last two and have not and dropped three straight games at anytime this season. After three straight losses the Lakers pounded the Kings as a Megabucks winner Sunday and shot lights out hitting 53% from the floor. The Piston defense is ranked third and will make it difficult for LA to get open shots. Take DETROIT!

Minnesota at Chicago 7:30 ET

Timberwolves over Bulls - This will be the first meeting between these two this season with Minnesota having won the past two meetings and the Bulls winning five of the previous six match-ups. The T’wolves should be raring to going after dropped their last two games at Denver and against Brooklyn. After reeling off five straight wins Chicago was shut down at home against Milwaukee on Saturday. The Wolves were booed off the court at home against the Nets and will look to atone for the weak effort. Take MINNESOTA!

Cleveland at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Spurs - The series surprisingly enough has been one sided as Cleveland has won nine of the past ten meetings including the last six meetings. San Antonio is off of a home loss to Utah but had won five straight and eight of nine prior to the defeat. The Cavaliers are off of a pair of losses and have dropped five of seven while going 1-8 ATS in their past nine games. The Spurs have won 10 of its past 13 games with one of those defeats coming at the hand of the Cavs. Take CLEVELAND!

Denver at Miami 7:30 ET

Heat (+) over Nuggets - Denver has won the past eight meetings and enter this game with four straight covers against the Heat including an early season win 122-112 as a 9-point favorite. But, the Nuggets have dropped three of the last five games and are off of a 127-126 loss at Orlando (Megabucks winner). Miami has won their last two games after losing eight of nine. The last Heat win over Denver was during the COVID bubble era. This time the Heat cook the Nuggets. Take MIAMI!

Sacramento at LA Lakers 9:30 ET

Lakers (-) over Kings - It is very usual for me to be posting a double-digit favorite but in this situation it is called for. To start with the Lakers have won and covered the last five meetings including a 127-102 win at Sacramento in late October. The Kings have the unique distinction of being ranked 27th on both offense and defense and their only top-10 ranking comes in turnovers.The Lakers are ranked Number 2 in both rebounds and field goal percentage while the Kings allow opponents the highest shooting percentage in the league. Lay it with the LOS ANGELES LAKERS!

Cleveland at Houston 8:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Rockets - I just think that this line is very short and that would lend the thought that the books believe that the Cavaliers have a shot at winning this game outright. Houston is certainly the better team but this is just one night in a long season.Take CLEVELAND!

Denver at Orlando 7:00 ET

Magic (+) over Nuggets - Denver has won the past three meetings including twice already season with three straight covers. The Magic had covered the previous seven meetings but currently they have dropped four of six including last night loss to Charlotte. Look for the home club to regroup in their second of back-to back nights. Take ORLANDO!

Dallas at Sacramento 5:00 ET

Mavericks over Kings - Dallas has shown huge improvement as Cooper Flagg matures into his role.His role appears to be a leader and focal point of their offense with some of their stars sidelined. Sacramento has regressed this season after showing promise in the second half of last season…last season. Take DALLAS!

Charlotte at Orlando 7:00 ET

Hornets (+) over Magic - Orlando has dominated the series between these two winning the past five meetings and 9-of-10 while going 9-1 ATS. Charlotte is off of a home win against Washington and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games and 6-of-8. The Magic are just 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games and fall short here. Take CHARLOTTE!

Minnesota at Denver 10:30 ET

Timberwolves (+) over Nuggets - This will be the third meeting of the season between these two with Denver having won both outings. In both games the Nuggets were favored on the road by -6.5 in October and -1 in November and they covered both nights. Now, at home, as hosts, they are a meager favorite when it appears that they have a huge advantage. The line is too short…take MINNESOTA!

Dallas at Golden State 5:00 ET

Warriors (-) over Mavericks - Dallas is beginning to receive some attention not only from the betting public but with the odds makers and players alike.  This attention is not because of Anthony Davis or any other Mavericks start but around No..1 draft pick Copper Flagg. Flagg is averaging 25.1 points in the last 11 games seven of which the Mavericks have won. The problem for Dallas and Flagg is that this is his first time going up on Christmas Day and also also his first time up against Draymond Green. Take GOLDEN STATE!

Oklahoma City at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Thunder (-) over Spurs - It was 10 short days ago that San Antonio busted Oklahoma City’s winning streak and they will be looking to even the score. The Spurs have won their three games since falling to the Knicks in the NBA Cup final in Las Vegas  and have won six-of their last seven. This is just the second home game for the Spurs in 21 days. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!

New York at Minnesota 8:00 ET

Timberwolves (-) over Knicks - Both of these clubs are 8-2 in their last 10 games and will be headed to the playoffs before it is all said and done. The last 10 games between these two have each team winning five with New York winning the only meetings this year 137-114. The T-wolves have won nine of their last 11 games and will get a measure of revenge against the Knicks. Take MINNESOTA!

Toronto at Brooklyn 6:00 ET

Nets (+) over Raptors - This will be the third meeting between these two this season with Toronto having taken both games to extend their winning streak against the nets to five games. Surprisingly enough. Brooklyn has won just three of 14 games at home and actually have four road wins. After winning by a franchise record 45 points over Milwaukee they scored their fewest points last time out. Take BROOKLYN!

LA Lakers at LA Clippers 10:30 ET

Clippers (+) over Lakers - The Clippers have lost five straight and nine of 10 and have lost the last four meetings with their inter-city rival. The Lakers are 8-2 since the return to action of Lebron James while the struggling Clippers have won just six of 27 game and are an awful 8-19 ATS. But, if there is any game they will get ready for it is against the Lakers. Take the CLIPPERS!

Dallas at Philadelphia 7:00 ET

Mavericks (+) over 76ers - It looks like the teenager that Dallas drafted is starting to pay off. Cooper Flagg is showing why he was selected Number One overall as his play is improving and so are the Mavericks. After a 5-15 start the Mav’s have won six of eight. Take DALLAS!

San Antonio at Atlanta 7:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Spurs - San Antonio has won four of their last five and have not lost to Atlanta since Wembanyama entered the league going 3-0. But, the Spurs have been on the road for six straight games and eight of nine including the NBA Cup series in Las Vegas. Atlanta was beaten at Charlotte yesterday but were happy with the return of Trae Young for injury. Looking for the return of Young to be the difference. Take ATLANTA!

New York at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Knicks - New York enters Indiana on a six game winning streak and nine of 10 including the ‘bogus’ NBA Cup title which they won by defeating San Antonio in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Indiana is a shell of what they have been of late as injuries have depleted their roster. The Pacers just dropped a 108-89 loss at home to the lowly Wizards and look to rebound against New York who should over confident after their in season tourney win.

Spurs (+) over Knicks - These two up and comers have identical records of 18-7 which is 72%. Both will surely walk into the playoffs and will try and remain healthy. New York has been one of the better point spread producers going 17-8 ATS. The series was 1-1 last season with the Knicks winning at home on Christmas day with Victor Wembanyama scoring 42 points in a losing cause. The game the Spurs won ‘Wembe’ was sidelined. New York has won five straight and 9-of-10 while the Spurs have won their last three and five of six including a 111-109 over Oklahoma City. In Las Vegas…take SAN ANTONIO!

Houston at Denver 9:40 ET

Rockets (+) over Nuggets - Great match up out of the NBA West with both of these teams considered a threat to Oklahoma City and their march through  the NBA regular season schedule. Denver returns home after four straight road wins and they have defeated Houston in each of the past three meetings all on the road including a November 112-109 victory. Rockets are a fine 8-4 SU on the road and have won six of their past eight overall. Looking for the visitor to get the money here. Take HOUSTON!

LA Lakers at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Suns (+) over Lakers - Phoenix is pretty inconsistent, but there is one thing that they do and that is get ready when they are to play the LA Lakers. The Suns have made the grade five of the past seven meetings and it should happen again tonight. Since their winning streak ended the Lakers are just 2-3 and with LeBron back in action the teams pace has slowed down a bit. Take PHOENIX!

Milwaukee at Brooklyn 8:00 ET

Nets (+) over Bucks - Milwaukee is just another team (if that) when the ‘Greek Freak’ is out of the lineup. The Bucks are off of a home win against Boston but have lost 7-of-10 but do have a win over Brooklyn this season. The Nets are showing signs of life having won 3-of-5 and with the Bucks still missing Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Nets cut then down. Take BROOKLYN!

Hawks (+) over Pistons - Detroit has won the last three meetings including a pair of victories this season with the past 10 ended 5-5 both SU and ATS. Although the Pistons have won 4-of-5 they have gone 1-4 ATS and Atlanta although 3-3 in last six overall are 5-1 ATS. The Hawks are am amazing 10-5 SU on the road and can hang out here. Kings (+) over Nuggets - This will be the fourth meeting of the season between the two with Denver winning the first two encounters and Sacramento pulling of a 126-123 upset at Denver in their last meeting before Thanksgiving. The Nuggets picked up the pace and have won three straight on the road and go the Sacramento while Kings will host after a three game road trip of their own. Mile High guys may be looking forward to getting back home where they haven’t played in 15 days and will welcome Houston. Take SACRAMENTO!

Clippers (+) over Rockets - It hasn’t gone well for Los Angeles of late as the Clippers have lost their last two and 16 of their past 19 games. Against the spread for the season the Clips are just 7-17 while Houston who lost their first two games of the year but now have won 15 of the last 19 meetings  going 14-6 ATS  This is the first meeting of the season and LA won the last meeting and are 6-4 SU over the Rockets in the past 10 meetings. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue has scolded his quad over their lack of defensive intensity. They show up tonight. Take LA CLIPPERS!

San Antonio at LA Lakers 10:00 ET

Spurs (+) over Lakers - This will be the Spurs eighth road game in their last nine and they have won five of the last seven games overall. The Lakers are looking like a team that will have to contend with this season. LA defeated San Antonio a month ago at home as a 2-point underdog and have now won 8-of-10 meetings but they were just 4-6 ATS in those meetings. The price now has the Lakers favored with a nine-point swing, Not tonight! Take SAN ANTONIO!

Raptors (+) over Knicks - To start with, I hate coming back with a team that failed me last time out, as Toronto fell at home to Boston on Sunday as a Megabucks release. But, there are times that I must play it because it obviously is the play (at least to me). The Raptors have dropped their past three games and five of the last six while New York has won three straight and seven of eight going 7-1 ATS. The Knicks have also won the last nine meetings but are just 3-6 SU on the road and 2-7 ATS. This is one of those silly in season NBA Cup games with the Raptors earning the home court here going 4-0 while the NYK are 3-1in this obscure tournament. Therefore…take TORONTO!

Boston at Toronto 3:30 ET

Raptors (+) over Celtics - Toronto who was on a mini winning streak a a few weeks back has now dropped four of the last five including last time out against Charlotte on Friday. Boston just took car of a pair of rivals at home defeated  both the Knicks and Lakers. Let down here. Take TORONTO!

New Orleans at Brooklyn 5:00 ET

Pelicans (+) over Nets - Tied with Washington having posted just three wins in 23 games New Orleans is on pace to set a new NBA record for fewest wins in a season. Brooklyn has five wins this season with just two games between them and the league’s worst. The Nets and Pelicans have split the past six meetings with Brooklyn having won the past two. The Nets have won 4-of-6 after losing 11 of 12 while the Pels have dropped their last five games overall. With a rare chance for a win the dirty birds prevail. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Trail Blazers (+) over Pistons - Detroit has won the past three meetings but the Trail Blazers had won the previous eight and are 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The Pistons two year’s ago were a squad that couldn’t put consecutive wins together, this season they won 14 of their first 16 games, but have cooled off a bit going 3-3 in their last six overall. Portland has been decent on the road going 6-6-1 ATS and is off of a 122-110 win at Cleveland on Wednesday. Take PORTLAND!

Celtics (-) over Lakers - I guess the book makers are beginning to see the affect an aging superstar has on a youthful team that likes a fast pace. Los Angeles won despite the LeBron James eight point and 4-17 shooting night which will not happen here. Boston would not allow a night like that to go bye without taking advantage. This line seems a bit high as the Lakers are on the rise and the Celtics, well their better days are behind them. But, they still have bite. Take BOSTON!

LA Lakers at Toronto 7:30 ET

Lakers (+) over Raptors - Not only are the Lakers a stellar 15-5 SU, but they are covering at a 65% clip going 13-7 ATS. Los Angeles has defeated Toronto in each of their past five meetings while the Raptors have won eight straight at home. L.A. just had their seven game winning streak end at the hands of Power Play winner Phoenix 125-108 on Monday while the Raptors had their nine game win streak end at Charlotte on Saturday and New York on Sunday. The rebounded with a non-cover home win Tuesday against Portland. Take the LA LAKERS!

Charlotte at New York 4:30 ET

Hornets (+) over Knicks - The Knicks ran into the Celtics last night and their four game win streak ended as our Rivalry winner prevailed. New York dropped to 3-6 on the road while posting a 10-1 record at MSG. Charlotte is just 6-15 on the season including just 1-9 on the road while going 10-11 ATS. The Knicks defeated the Hornets 129-101 in Charlotte last week and have won 7-of-8 meetings. The Hornets just fell to the Nets and will try and keep from getting swept in New York. Take CHARLOTTE!  

Oklahoma City at Golden State 11:00 ET

Thunder (-) over Warriors - I actually had to think this one through and the conclusion that I arrived at is that Oklahoma City is really good. I had to actually check a second source to make sure the line was accurate. It is and that spells out to me that the Thunder are so dominate that they are a double-digit road favorite. The Warriors remain as one of the true NBA professionals that give you effort every night and the book makers say it won’t be enough. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!

New York at Boston 8:00 ET

Celtics (+) over Knicks - These two rivals are always up for each other and you get a true professional showing. Boston with injuries and trades are just a shell of the club that would challenge for the Conference Championship but that window has closed. Because It’s Knickerbocker time, and New York is firmly putting their hopes behind the play of Jalen Brunson. Truly a superstar in today’s game his all round game has brought New York to the rim, but finishing the job is not an easy task. Celtic Pride kicks in and give the favorites more than they can deal with tonight. Take BOSTON!

Portland at Toronto 7:30 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Raptors - Portland was off to an unexpected but good start of the season winning seven of their first 12 games, but since they have dropped seven of nine including their last two outings. Toronto is also off to a surprising start and were 14-5 before their past two games on the heels of a nine game winnings streak. This is the first meeting between the two and the Blazers have won the past four meetings over the past three seasons. The beat goes on…take PORTLAND!

Phoenix at LA Lakers

Suns (+) over Lakers - At 15-4 and on a seven game winning streak the Lakers are turning heads as most of that has been done without LeBron James. This s the first meeting of the year between these two and although LA won the last meetings the Suns had won four of the previous five. James has been back since Nov. 18 and he continues to have a great all round game while playing just over 30 minutes per game. The Suns are looking to shine after being blocked out by Denver 130-111 on Saturday. Take PHOENIX!

Charlotte at Brooklyn 7:30 ET

Nets (+) over Hornets - I wonder year after year of the Nets will ever be any good, even a .500 season seems so far out of reach for a team that seems to get worse each season. No improvement and actually more regression than progress even with highest selected draft choices. Charlotte has struggled them selves but have out together a pair of wins entering New York. The Nets are 0-9 at home and are ready to break though against a team that has yet to put if together. Take BROOKLYN!

Cleveland at Indiana 7:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Cavaliers - There has been a reversal of trends here as Cleveland has dropped their last three games and Indiana has won their past two games. The Pacers who were final contenders that past two years have been hit will key injuries and have had a difficult time adjusting. Indy fell to the Cavaliers 120-109 10 days ago but had won seven of the previous nine meetings. Pacers looking to reset the year but will continue to improve. Take INDIANA!

Boston at Minnesota 5:00 ET

Timberwolves (-) over Celtics - Boston took a step up last time out defeating Detroit who had a 13-game winning streak entering the battle. The Celtics are nothing close to the contender that they have been in recent years. Minnesota is exactly where we thought they would be and with Anthony Edwards leading the scoring especially at home is difficult to beat. Take MINNESOTA!

Dallas at LA Lakers 10:00 ET

Mavericks (+) over Lakers - It is a bit unsettling that Dallas is just 5-14 and have played just five home games winning one. Injuries to their two top players Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis have just about wiped out their season before Thanksgiving. The Lakers are winners of five straight games and had an easy time with their intercity rival Clippers on Tuesday. Although LA has won the last two meetings SU the Mavericks own a 7-3 ATS record in the past 10 meetings. Take DALLAS!

Orlando at Detroit 7:30 ET

Magic (+) over Pistons - This is the second meeting in Detroit between these two already this year and the Pistons routed the Hornets 135-116 as a 2-point underdog the first week of the season. The upstart Pistons won a franchise record 13 straight wins before Boston put an end to their winning streak with a 117-114 decision on Wednesday. Orlando has won seven of their last nine games and are off of a 31-point victory over Philadelphia on Monday. Look for the Hornets to sting the Pistons here and hand them their second straight defeat. Take ORLANDO!

Chicago at Charlotte 7:00 ET

Hornets (+) over Bulls - Charlotte has dropped their last seven games and nine of the last 10 and here the host Chicago who has defeated the Hornets in nine of the last 10 meetings going 9-1 ATS. Charlotte has yet to get it together but the Bulls although they have won 3 of 5 the two losses were when the surrendered 143 points in each. The Hornets will have Melo Ball back in the line up returning from injury. Take CHARLOTTE!

Detroit at Boston 5:00 ET

Celtics (+) over Pistons - This will be the second meeting of the season between these tow clubs one of which is on the rise  and the other is falling fast. Detroit won 119-133 at home in last October and are 15-2 while Boston at 9-8 is exactly where most felt they wold be after contending for the NBA title the last decade…those days are gone. The Celtics had eight straight wins over the Pistons until their final meeting  last season and their first meeting this year and they get that mojo back tonight. Take BOSTON!

LA Clippers at LA Lakers 11:00 ET

Clippers (+) over Lakers - And they were doing so well…the Lakers that is and now the return of LeBron James can only help or not. Los Angeles the team with the storied history has change their tempo and were moving the ball up the court quicker and were playing at a faster pace than they had played when Lebron ran the show. Without King James LA has looked good and they defeated the Clip’s in the last three meetings. With LeBron as a facilitator and strong arm man they may actually be a true contender. The Clippers enter 5-12 both SU and ATS and have dropped four of five, with 36 year old 16 year veteran James Harden scoring a franchise record 55 points in their win against Charlotte. That tells you something about this franchise. But, there should be an overreaction to LeBron’s return. Take LA CLIPPERS!

Portland at Milwaukee 8:00 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Bucks - It appears that the bookies don’t think much of Milwaukee when they are without the ‘Greek Freak’ as they don’t even receive a point spread boost while playing at home. Surprisingly enough the Trail Blazers have won the past three meetings but enter this game on a slide losing five of their last six. The Bucks enter having lost their last four with the last two losses at home. The price sways me…take PORTLAND!

Cleveland at Toronto 7:00 ET

Cavaliers over Raptors  - I am a bit surprised that the Cavaliers have been installed as a road favorite at Toronto. The Raptors have been playing great basketball and have won 12 of 19 games having the same amount of wins as Cleveland and one less loss, and yet they are made a home underdog. I might add that the Raptors have won seven straight and are now a home underdog and that makes no sense, especially if you note that Toronto has won the last two meeting both in Cleveland. Take CLEVELAND!

Miami at Philadelphia 1:00 ET

76ers (+) over Heat - Miami rolls into Philadelphia winning and covering their last three contests including a rout of the Bulls 143-107. The 76ers have dropped the past four meetings and the Heat have covered the number in their last five games. With the Heat winning by such a large margin I believe that they will come back to the center. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Miami at Chicago 8:00 ET

Heat (+) over Bulls - Both of these guys are off of a pair of wins as Chicago finishes a five game road trip having split their past four games. Miami embarks on a mini two-game trip going to Philadelphia on Sunday. The Heat who are respected because of their defense which is ranked No. 3 and allow just 43% of opponents field goal attempts and surprisingly (for the Heat) they are ranked second in field goals made. This is an in season NBA Cup competition with each team 1-1 behind group leader Milwaukee (2-0). The Bulls have won eight of the past 10 meetings against the Heat and swept the series 3-0 last season. I’s a brave new world. Take MIAMI!

Chicago at Portland 10:00 ET

Trail Blazers (+) over Bulls - The Chicago Bulls were in a very tough spot on Monday, they have lost five in-a-row and were at Denver playing as a 12-point underdog. Well, like everything else in this upside down world the Bulls won outright 130-127 and have now scored 277 points in their past two road games. After a decent start to the season Portland has dropped their last three and five of six with their lone win during that span was at New Orleans. These guys split a pair of games last season but the Blazers went 2-0 ATS, although the Bulls have won six out the past seven meetings SU. Bulls started 6-1 and needed their win last time out to get back over .500…not tonight. Take PORTLAND!

Houston at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Rockets - Houston comes to Cleveland having won their last four games and nine of the last 10 and have also defeated the Cavaliers in their past three meetings. This is the first meetings of the year and it was the Cav’s that were 10-1 last season when the had Darius Garland available as of now they are 10-5. Home court spurs on the underdog. Take CLEVELAND!

Indiana at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Pacers (+) over Suns - Indiana lost their first five games before posting a home win over Golden State who returned the favor with a 114-83 pasting of the Pacers. Phoenix is off of a win at Dallas last night and have won their past four but, the Pacers have won the last two meetings. Take INDIANA!

Phoenix at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Suns - Phoenix enters this fray on a three game win streak and have covered the number five of their last six games while Dallas off of a 2-point loss to Milwaukee has dropped five of their last six games. Head-to-head these two have split their past 10 meetings and all but the last meeting the Mavericks played with Luca Doncic. Rookie Copper Flagg had a career best 25 points against the Bucks and the rest of his crew is encouraged by his performance. Take DALLAS!

Memphis at Boston 7:30 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Celtics - Memphis has dropped their last two games and have lost six of seven and are just 1-8 ATS in the past nine games overall. Boston is certainly not the same team this season as they were in recent past years. Attrition and injuries have left the Celtics as just another mid-land club that is no real threat to win the title. The Beantowners dropped a 102-100 decision to Philadelphia last night as a small favorite of 1.5-points while The Grizzlies fell to New York at MSG. This one should come down to the final horn. Take MEMPHIS!

Golden State at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET

Warriors (+) over Thunder - OKC is 10-1 and determined to repeat as NBA champions and they are well on their way. Golden State had lost 4-of-5 before defeating Indiana by 31 points on Sunday while the Thunder have rebounded after their first loss at Portland and return home after playing four straight games on the road. The Thunder are 4-0 at home but with be without three members of their cast. Take GOLDEN STATE!

Memphis at New York 7:30 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Knicks - New York has won their last four games and have covered each of them on the heels of a three game losing streak. Memphis was game for awhile against OKC before failing for the fifth time in six outings. The Knicks have won the past four meetings after having lost the previous four meetings. The Grizzlies have had Ja Morant in and out and his performance this season has been sub-par as of this date. Look for the Grizzlies to growl at the Garden tonight. Take MEMPHIS!

Milwaukee at Dallas 8:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Bucks - The Bucks have what many considered the biggest game changing player in the NBA in Giannis Antetokoumpo who leads the NBA in scoring with 33.4 points per game. Milwaukee has won six straight over Dallas and the Mavericks are last in the NBA in scoring but will have center Anthony Davis back in action tonight and that takes pressure off of No. 1 draft pick Cooper Flagg. Take DALLAS!

Minnesota at Sacramento 9:00 ET

Kings (+) over Timberwolves - This has got to be one of those opposites are drawn together because after their last performances that is the only way this happens. Minnesota is off of their best all-round game of the year with high’s for shooting percentage both FG and 3-pointers and they won by 40 points, 137-97 over Utah. The Kings are off to a slow start and were crushed at home Friday night by Oklahoma City 132-101. So, I expect both clubs to move toward the center and for this one to come down to the final horn. The Kings did defeat the Wolves in their past two meetings. Take SACRAMENTO!

LA Lakers at Atlanta 8:00 ET

Hawks (+) over Lakers - The Lakers are off to a great start at 7-2 and are unbeaten on the road winning and covering all four games. Yep, and all this is being done without LeBron James who once again is sidelined with injuries. Atlanta’s start to the season hasn’t been so hot winning just four of their first nine games. These two split a pair of meetings last season and Los Angeles has won and covered their last five games while Atlanta is off of a home loss to Toronto last night blowing a 13-point lead in the opening game of the in season NBA Cup. Trae Young is out for three weeks and the Hawks are 2-2 without him. The Hawks will face Luka Doncic who they drafted and traded to Dallas within minutes of being selected . Take ATLANTA!

Charlotte at Miami 8:10 ET

Hornets (+) over Heat- This will be the second meeting between these two already this season and the Heat showed no mercy in their 144-117 home victory 10 days ago. Miami has gone 1-3 SU since then while Charlotte has dropped four of five with just one cover. But, tonight the Heat will not have their starting center Bam Adebayo who leads the team in rebounds and is second in scoring and Miami’s other All-star Tyler Hero will also be sidelined. Take CHARLOTTE!

Boston at Orlando 7:10 ET

Magic (-) over Celtics - Okay, to start with this will be the first game in the silly in season NBA Cup Group 8 and Sunday’s second meeting is not part of the Cup series. Boston took four-of-five against the Magic in the NBA Playoffs last April. The Celtics are nowhere near the club they were in recent seasons as major injuries and player movement has this club at a different talent level. The Magic are looking to rebound after Tuesday’s set back by Atlanta when they turned the ball over 17 times. Celtic coach Joe Mazzula said that he uses ‘teachable moments’ with his younger players. Well, at this level the teaching should have already been done and the lack of experience is a major shortcoming. Take ORLANDO!

Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (-) over 76ers - Philadelphia got off the mark like a bolt winning their first four games and currently are 5-1-1 ATS. Cleveland broke a mini two-game slide with a win over Atlanta on Sunday 132-120 but are just 2-5 ATS on the season. This is the first meeting of the season between these two and after three straight wins in the series the 76ers broke through with a win in their final meeting last year. This line is a bit inflated because of the season debut for the Cavaliers of Daruis Garland who returns after being injured during the 2024-25 playoffs. The Sixers missed their final 11 shots in last nights loss at Chicago and this is the second of back-to-back games and Joel Embiid’s availability is in question. Take CLEVELAND!

Brooklyn at Indiana 7:00 ET

Nets (+) over Pacers - Gosh, these two clubs are lucky to be playing each other because this way one of them will come out of this game with a win. For Brooklyn it would be their first of the season in their eighth game, while Indiana is seeking just their second win in eight tries. Nets coach Jordi Hernanadez is pleased with his clubs energy and that is all well and good but they have to win some games. They started 0-18 in 2009 and really things have remained the same fore over a decade with one attempt with Irving and Durant. The Pacers have player issues and need time to get to where they were last season. Take BROOKLYN!

Philadelphia at Chicago 8:00 ET

76ers over Bulls - It is kind of surprise that both of these clubs are 5-1 with Chicago receiving its first defeat to New York last time out on Sunday. The Bulls won the last two meetings in a season that both clubs would like to forget. The concern here when looking to play on the Sixers is the question as to the availability of Joel Embiid who sat out on Sunday against Brooklyn. He is always listed a questionable or probable but he will be in the line-up tonight. The Bulls are off to their quick start because of the defense that they have played so far…so far. Take PHILADELPHIA!

Milwaukee at Toronto 7:30 ET

Raptors (-) over Bucks - Taking a closer look at this match-up has a 3-4 team Toronto a 4-point (plus) favorite against the 5-2 Bucks who have won the past four meetings. The last time they met was a little over a week ago in Toronto like this one and Milwaukee took a 122-116 win as a 2-point underdog. This time, in the same venue, the same two teams met 10 days later and now favored by 2-3 points more after losing outright. This shows the books seem to think the The Raptors are the side. Take TORONTO!

Washington at New York 7:30 ET

Wizards (+) over Knicks - I’m not sure if New York has really put it together after just one win. The Knicks started the season under new leadership with Mike Brown taking charge and their start was not so smooth and it may still take a while for it all to mesh under his influence. The Wizards don’t seem any better this year, although their lone win did come on the road against Dallas. The DC boys enter on a four game slide and have dropped nine straight to New York. Last time out the Knicks had their best game of the season in all aspects so I expect some regression while the Wiz who lost by 31 on Saturday to the Magic. Take WASHINGTON!

Chicago at New York 7:05 ET

Knicks over Bulls - Break-up the Bulls…Chicago is undefeated (5-0) and have already posted a win over New York winning outright 135-125 and covered as 5-point underdogs on Friday. The Knicks at 2-3 have yet to find their way as it appears the coaching change they made after their playoff run ended. The Bulls have won three of the past four meetings and have covered the past five meetings. New York returns home after three straight road losses and coach Mike Brown is stresses defense is the key to winning today.  Take NEW YORK!

Boston at Philadelphia 7:10 ET

Celtics over 76ers  - After dropping their first three games of the season the opener which was against the 76ers 117-116, Boston has come on and won their last two games first defeating New Orleans and Cleveland on Wednesday. Philadelphia has won four straight to start the year but Joel Embiid is still hurting and plays less than half the game. The Celtics rank No. 1 on defense while the Sixers are No. 23. Finally, here we have an undefeated team at home and the bookmaker opened the road team the favorite…take BOSTON!

New York Knicks at Milwaukee 8:00 ET

Knicks (-) over Bucks - Both of these Eastern powers are 2-1 SU with Milwaukee being a perfect 3-0 ATS. New York swept the season series last year going 3-0 both SU and ATS and have actually won and covered the past five meetings. Each club lost on Sunday with the Bucks cashing in while losing to Cleveland but staying within the margin. During the off-season the Knicks tried at acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks were having none of it. None the less Jalen Brunson is a true superstar and will balance the ‘Greeks’ output and the rest of the squad will be the difference. Take NEW YORK!

Philadelphia at Washington 7:00 ET

Wizards (+) over 76ers  - Philadelphia has started the season 3-0 and are looking to atone for its performance last season. The 76ers Joel Embiid ‘rested’ Monday but will return to face Washington who is 1-2 with a win at Dallas. The Wizards are the youngest team in the NBA with only five years previous experience, their starters are  a rookie ,three second year players and their veteran has two years under his belt.  Wizards coach Brian Keefe keeps stressing to his youngsters that defense is the key to winning. Take WASHINGTON!

Milwaukee at Cleveland 6:00 ET

Cavaliers (-) over Bucks - Cleveland had the most wins in the Eastern Conference last season but were beaten in the Playoffs before the Finals and started this year with a pair of road games that they split. Milwaukee is 2-0 SU and ATS and are off of a win at Toronto. The Cavaliers have won the last five meetings including a 4-0 swept last season and 8-of-10 going 7-3 ATS. Both clubs lost in last year's post season to Indiana. Take CLEVELAND!
