San Antonio and New York meet in Game 4 and we’re on the Spurs. San Antonio went into MSG and stole Game 3 as they did everything right. The Spurs could just as easily be up 2-1 or 3-0 in this series as they’ve outplayed the Knicks for the most part. They have the momentum now and this is a spot where they can really put the Knicks on their heels early. Combine that with Wemby finding his form again in Game 3 and this is going to be a Game 4 where he takes over and sets the tone. The rest of this Spurs lineup feeds off of him and they’re going to come out with a lot of aggression. Back the Spurs.

New York and San Antonio meet in Game 3 and we’re on the Knicks. New York took both games on the road and they’ve just looked like the more complete team all postseason. It’s evident the Spurs are frustrated and heading into MSG is not an ideal spot for them. The Knicks are much deeper and have found a way to frustrate this Spurs offense. San Antonio is not getting clean looks and the Knicks are forcing turnovers that have led to easy buckets the other way. It’s clear the experience factor has played a role and right now, New York has far too many veteran weapons for the Spurs to keep up. With this crazy crowd, the Knicks have all the advantages to continue their dominance. Back the Knicks.

New York and San Antonio meet in Game 2 and we’re on the Knicks with the points. This is just too many points and while the line is inflated a little bit because of some of the Knicks being a bit banged up, this is still a good value spot. New York stole Game 1 as they went on a huge run late and shut down the Spurs offensive attack. The Knicks are just built with more vets who can handle crunch time and they’re wearing this Spurs team down as the game gets deeper. This is just too many points for a team that is better. Back the Knicks to +6.

Oklahoma City snd San Antonio battle and we’re on OKC. This series has been one where it’s been unpredictable to figure out who will do what, but you can throw all of that out the window with Game 7. The Thunder have played exceptionally well at home for the most part this postseason and were dominate during the regular season inside this building. This is a game where they come out and feed off the home energy crowd and lean on their vets like SGA to set the tone. The Spurs are still on the younger side and this environment is going to catch up to them in a game where the Thunder overwhelm them. Expect an early run from the Thunder in a lopsided game. Back OKC. Bet any juice.

Knicks +2.5

New York and Cleveland meet in Game 3 and we’re on the Knicks. After blowing Game 1, the Cavs were dominated in Game 2 in the 2nd half en route to a blow out loss. Cleveland has no momentum at all and all the doubts in their minds. Meanwhile, this Knicks team is playing at such a high level. They’re getting contributions up and down and they feed off Brunson’s energy. They can get out to an early lead and really have the Cavs on their heels, while taking the crowd out of the game. New York has the value as they’re going to continue to push the tempo on Cleveland and attack the basket to open up shooting lanes. Back the Knicks.

Thunder +2.5

The Thunder and Spurs shift the series to San Antonio and we’re on the Thunder in Game 3. OKC got their groove back and evened things up after a solid Game 2 performance. This is a swing game and this is where they will impose their will and really look to get out to an early lead. Look for SGA to set the tone as the supporting cast on this Thunder team goes as he goes. He finished with 30 last game and dished out 9 assists as he’ll need a similar performance in this game. This is too nice of a line to pass up on. Back the Thunder to +2.

OKC and San Antonio played the a thriller in Game 1 and now it’s the Thunder who face their first adversity of the postseason. We’re on the Thunder laying the points as they have typically bounced back in big ways. This will be a game they put a major emphasis on the defensive end. They need to stop Wemby and will do whatever it takes early to set the tone. Oklahoma City is still the better overall team and this is the kind of game where SGA comes out and they feed off his energy. Expect a fast start and for them to keep their foot on the gas. The Knicks and Cavs open up the ECF and we’re on New York. The Knicks have been able to get some rest and it’s allowed them to get healthy after their dominant performance last round. Meanwhile, Cleveland needed 7 games to beat the Pistons and now have a quick turnaround against the Knicks just 2 days later. Cleveland has just never seemed to matchup well with the Knicks, especially inside this building. New York is rolling on both ends of the floor and they’re going to overwhelm a very tired Cavs side right from the beginning. Back the Knicks.

Tuesday 3* NBA ATS Play

San Antonio is the move against the Thunder. The Spurs were one team who consistently gave the Thunder issues during the regular season. San Antonio defeated them in 4 of the 5 meetings and they even won some of those games in blow out fashion. The Spurs are a team built to compete with the Thunder, as they have a solid inside presence with Wemby, while also having so many threats from behind the arc. The Thunder have been off for a bit longer and the rust will come into play here. Back the Spurs to +6.

Minnesota and San Antonio meet in Game 6 and we’re on the Twolves. Minnesota hasn’t backed down in this series and they’re just catching too many points. Despite a lopsided Game 5 score, Minnesota was close in the third before things got out of hand. They’re going to come out and lean on their ability to push the pace as they need this game to be fast. They averaged nearly 120 ppg in the regular season and to be successful in a game where their backs are against the wall, they need to come out and get out in transition. Expect them to keep this close with a chance to steal it outright. Grab the points. Back Minnesota.

Friday 3* NBA ATS Play

Lakers +9

Los Angeles and Oklahoma City meet in Game 3 and the Lakers are the move here. They return home and this is a game where they can catch the Thunder off guard a bit. OKC is just running through the playoffs so far and this is a spot where they might be looking ahead a bit. Los Angeles has ended up getting blown out in both games, but they’ve been close throughout before OKC has pulled away. The Lakers were also very vocal after the game about the refs, so expect them to get a few extra calls to go their way on Saturday. This is too many points, especially given the home court advantage. OKC wins, LA keeps it close. Back the Lakers to +8.5.

The Cavs and Pistons meet in Game 2 and this is a great spot to grab the points. Cleveland came all the way back and had Game 1 tied at 5, before they were unable to convert on some clean looks and it saw the Pistons go the other way for some easy buckets. Cleveland was right there and they still can come in with confidence. The Cavaliers are just as talented as the 1 seed and they have the playmakers who can make a difference down the stretch of this game. Expect both Mitchell and Harden to step up in a big way, while the duo of Allen and Mobley make a huge impact in the middle. This game will be close throughout, with Cleveland having their chances to steal it. The points are the valuable play here. Back Cleveland.

Detroit and Cleveland open their 7 game series and we’re on Detroit in Game 1. Both teams needed 7 games to clinch their opening round series and now they have a quick turnaround with this game being just 2 days after their clinching wins. Detroit has been the more consistent team and we saw Cleveland just have so many issues on the road in their series with Toronto. They dropped all 3 games there and Detroit has found their groove with 3 straight wins in the postseason. This is too nice of a line to pass up on. Back the Pistons.

Minnesota and the Spurs meet and we’re on the Timberwolves with the points. This series has a lot of question marks in terms of player health on both sides and this is just too many points. Minnesota took down Denver in an upset win and now they matchup well with this Spurs side. One key to note is Anthony Edward’s has been upgraded to questionable which would be a huge piece for this Minnesota side. Minnesota can match the intensity and produce a lot of open looks as they’re at their best when they’re in transition. This is too many points. Back Minnesota to +12.5.

Philadelphia and Boston meet in Game 7 and were on the 76ers with the points. This series has been a surprise to everyone as Philadelphia continues to give Boston everything they can handle and then some. They’ve forced a Game 7 and when they’re at full heath, this team has so many weapons. Maxey, Embiid, and George all of stepped up in a big way and they’re going to continue to put pressure on Boston from the start. This will be the kind of game that turn into a grind and Philadelphia has the advantage as they have the dominance inside with Embiid. If they can frustrate these Boston outside shooters again, this will be a spot where they keep this close. Back Philadelphia.

Orlando and Detroit shift the series back to Orlando, where the Magic have a chance to close things out. We’re on Orlando as they catch points and they’ve been able to go right at this Pistons side all series long. Orlando took care of business in both home games in this series and they did it with the defensive side of things. They allowed just 105 and then 88 points in the two wins and for them to come out of here with a win, they’ll really need to pick up the defensive intensity. Expect the Magic to put relentless pressure on these Pistons shooters and not allow anything easy at the rim. Grab the points as this is a game Orlando will feed off the home crowd. Back Orlando.

Philadelphia and Boston meet in Game 6 and we’re on the 76ers. Philadelphia stunned the Celtics in Game 5 in Boston as they came from behind to steal a win. The 76ers are healthy now and Embiid continues to play at such a high level. He finished with 33 points in Game 5 and he’s going to be the difference here once again. Expect the 76ers to play through him and for them to play just as loose as they did in Game 5. They’ll throw everything they have here at Boston and have the home crowd behind them. Back the 76ers.

Lakers -4

The Lakers and Rockets meet in Game 5 and we’re on the Lakers. The Lakers return home with a chance to clinch the series and they’ll go up against a Houston team without Kevin Durant again. The Rockets took care of business in Game 4 to stay alive, but they’re still a long ways away and they are going to struggle here in LA. The Lakers looked confident in Games 1 and 2 and they did by allowing just 98 and 94 points. This defense is going to once again be the difference and force this Rockets offense into some tough shots. Los Angeles plays with such high intensity on the defensive side of the ball and they’ll frustrate this Houston side all night. Back the Lakers. 

Wednesday 2* NBA ATS Play

The 76ers and Celtics meet in Game 5 and we’re on Phili with the points. Boston got a little scare early in this series, but they’ve taken control and can close this out on Tuesday. Philadelphia isn’t going to go down without a fight and this is going to be a game where they throw everything they have at the Celtics. With the exception of Game 4, they were right there in the other 3 games and expect them to pick up the defensive intensity on Tuesday. This game should be close throughout and Phili can stay within this number. Back the 76ers.

Phoenix is the move against the Thunder. The Suns at least put up a fight in Game 3 and while they’re going to get potentially swept, this is a game where the motivation to not get embarrassed is a factor. Phoenix isn’t as bad as they’ve shown at times during this series and they’re going to come out aggressive in Game 4. They found success at the free throw line in Game 3, going 20 for 23, and that will be the recipe here once again. Expect them to attack the rim and try to create more and more open shooting lanes as this game goes on. Back Phoenix to +10.5.

Denver and Minnesota meet in Game 4 and we’re on the Nuggets. This is a prime bounce back spot for the Nuggets, who got taken to the woodshed in Game 3. This is a team of vets who have been in the spot before and typically bounce back in a big way. Denver will turn to Jokic, who has to have a better shooting night than 7 for 26 in game 3. He’s been in plenty of high pressure games and this offense will feed off his energy. Expect him to come out with a lot of urgency and for the rest of this Nuggets team to match it in a game where they show their experience. Back the Nuggets. To -1.5

76ers +7.5 (to +7)

Phili has the value as they take on Boston in Game 3. Everything went right for the 76ers as they ended up blowing out the Celtics in Game 2 to shift home court advantage. Without Embiid and his status still unknown, the 76ers are getting contributions from so many different players right now. Five different players scored in double figures in Game 2 and this will be another spot where they have a lot of guys step up on both ends of the floor. Back Phili.

Denver and Minnesota battle in Game 3 and we’re on the Nuggets. These two teams split the first two games of this series and it was a late rush by the Twolves in Game 2 that helped seal the deal. Denver has typically been a bounce back team and this is a game where they come out with a lot of aggression. Expect Jokic to take over in this game early and for him to really attack the rim. He wasn’t getting many foul calls in Game 2 and that should change here as his physicality is going to put Minnesota on their heels and set the tone for the game. Back the Nuggets to -2.5.

Rockets -4.5

Houston is the move as they try to even things up with LA. The Rockets had Kevin Durant sitting in Game 1 and only managed 98 points in the loss. He’s back and this is a prime spot for them to bounce back. They’re obviously a much different offense with him in the lineup, but they also look different defensively as well. They allowed the Lakers to shoot 61% from the floor in Game 1 and that won’t happen here. They’re going to turn up the defensive intensity and force the Lakers into a lot of tough shots. Expect them to come out of the gates much quicker and take control of this game early. Back the Rockets.

Atlanta and New York meet in Game 2 and were on the Hawks. Atlanta just couldn’t see to get over the hump in Game 1 as they kept things close. They have the weapons to compete with this Knicks team and they’re going to try to pick up the tempo a little bit. They’re at their best when they can play with a lot of speed and push the ball in transition. They didn’t do enough of that in Game 1 and they’ll look to make that an emphasis in Game 2. Atlanta will keep this close once again and this time put together more scoring spurts and have their chances to even steal it. Grab the points. Back Atlanta to +6.

Phoenix is the move as they take on the Thunder. Phoenix earned their way in through the play in after beating the Warriors in blow out fashion. They rode in with momentum and they are a tricky team to deal with overall. OKC hasn’t played in over a week and the rust factor will come into play as well. The Suns love to run and they gave the Thunder all they could handle in the 5 head to head matches this season. Phoenix won a pair of them and they boast one of the better defensive stats in the league allowing just 112 ppg. This is too many points. Back the Suns.

The Hawks and Knicks battle and we’re on the Hawks with the points. This is a tough matchup for the Knicks, who will have to deal with the speed of the Atlanta team. They have caught fire over the last month and change, as they lost just 2 games in the month of March. Atlanta averages 118 ppg and they are going to come out with a lot of aggression knowing they can steal game 1. Expect them to push the ball in transition and take advantage of a Knicks defense that has had its share of issues against quick teams. Back Atlanta to +5.

The Warriors came from behind and eliminated the Clippers as they’ll now have a chance to pull off another upset. This is where the experience of Draymond Green and Steph Curry came into play as these two really became the catalyst in the comeback against LA and they’re going to try to do it again against Phoenix. The Suns choked away their game against Portland and that is going to have some lingering effects coming into play. Golden State battled injuries all season and now they’re back near full strength with some key pieces returning. Golden State won 3 of the regular season meetings and they have all the momentum right now. Back the Warriors.

Charlotte and Miami play in the play in and we’re on Charlotte here. This place will be rocking with home court advantage and the Hornets are going to come out firing in this game. They blew the Heat out by 30 in their latest matchup and they have been playing with a lot of confidence after a slow start to the season. We saw Charlotte go on a lengthy winning streak and their ability to score in flurries is going to be too much for Miami. Charlotte is quicker and they’re going to get out and run in transition, wearing down the Heat as this game goes on. Back Charlotte.

The Clippers have value here on Friday. Los Angels and Portland are battling for the 8th spot in the west and this is a game where the veteran leadership of the Clippers will come in handy. They have plenty of vets who have played in big pressure games, while Portland is on the younger side of things. The Clippers have won 2 of 3, while Portland has dropped back to back games entering play. Expect the Clippers to try and wear down this Portland side with their physical play and ability to get out in transition quickly. Back the Clippers.

Cleveland and Atlanta meet and we’re on the Cavs. This has the potential to be a first round matchup and Cleveland is going to look to make a statement here at home. The Cavs defeated Memphis last time out and they get back a few weapons here in Mitchell and Harden for this game. Cleveland’s offense is just too dynamic with those two in the lineup and they’re going to really wear down Atlanta. Expect the Cavs to get out early, while pushing the ball in transition and forcing Atlanta on their heels. Back the Cavs.

We’re on the Wolverines laying the points here. Michigan has just ran through this tournament with very little stress as they continue to blow teams out. They took on an Arizona team that has been one of the best in the country all season on Saturday and proceeded to beat them by 18 and led by as many as 30. UConn has had a magical run, but they just don’t have the weapons to keep up with this Michigan side. They are going to struggle to slow them down defensively, as Michigan has one of the best attacks in the nation. Look for Michigan to dictate the tempo and wear UConn down. Back Michigan.

The Rockets and Warriors meet and were on Houston. The Rockets sit 5th in the West and continue to play for positioning as every game matters down the stretch. Houston is catching fire at the right time and has won 5 straight, which includes a 140 point performance last time out. Golden State is far from healthy and they just don’t have the weapons to keep up here. Expect the Rockets to control this game on both ends of the floor and wear the Warriors out with their physical style. Back the Rockets.

Arizona +1.5

Arizona and Michigan meet in a battle of two 1 seeds and we’re on Arizona. The Wildcats are such a tough matchup for any team as they have a ton of depth and weapons on both ends of the floor. They steamrolled Purdue in the 2nd half of their Elite 8 contest, holding them to just 13 points from the 18 minute mark to the 3 minute mark. They just wear teams down with their relentless pressure and are able to turn it into easy offensive looks the other way. Expect them to do just that and really frustrate these Michigan shooters. This is a great value spot on Arizona. Back the Wildcats.

The Pistons are the move here as they lay a small number in Phili. Detroit continues to set themselves up for the playoffs and they battle a Phili team that has some gaps defensively. Phili gives up 116.7 ppg defensively have they’ve had issues with teams that play fast. Detroit loves to push the ball in transition and they’re one of the best at opening shooting lanes for their outside threats. Averaging nearly 118 ppg, they have so many different weapons and will overwhelm this Phili side. Back Detroit.

UConn and Illinois meet in the Final 4 and we’re on the Huskies. UConn continues to just find ways to win in March. They used a turnover and a last second 3 to take down top seeded Duke as they just do everything right. UConn already beat Illinois earlier this season comfortably 74-61 in a game where they dictated everything from the start. That’s going to be the case here as this defense is just smothering. They force tough shots and suffocate opposing shooters and will have Illinois scrambling. The Huskies are the better team and we’re getting points with them. Back UConn.

Magic -6.5

The Magic are the move against the Mavs in this one. Orlando continues to fight for playoff position and every game means that much more for them down the stretch. They’re in a prime bounce back spot and this is the perfect team to see. Dallas was blown away by 20+ points in back to back games as they just don’t have the firepower to keep up. They’ve struggled as a whole defensively, giving up nearly 120 ppg as well. This is a complete mismatch and the Magic should be able to dictate everything on both ends of the floor. Back the Magic.

Oklahoma City has the value against the Lakers. This is a game where the Thunder can put out a little statement as the Lakers have been catching some eyes for how well they’ve been playing. The Thunder lost just 1 game in the month of March and they continue to do get the job done on both ends of the floor. They average 118.6 ppg, but they’re at their best when they really put the claps down defensively. They only give up 107.6 ppg defensively, which is one of the top marks. The Lakers are going to struggle with the speed of this Thunder side, as Oklahoma City will get ou and run all game. Back the Thunder.

Celtics +1

The Celtics have value here against Atlanta. It’s no secret that Atlanta has become one of the hottest teams in the league over the last few months, but the Celtics are still a step above them. Boston beat them back on Friday by 7 and this Boston side just has far too much firepower offensively. They are averaging 115 ppg and they’ve won 7 of their last 8 overall. Defensively, they give up just 106 ppg, which is one of the best numbers in the league. They’ll slow this Hawks team down again and force them into a lot of tough shots. Back Boston.

UConn and Duke clash for a spot in the Final Four and we’re on UConn. The Huskies continue to always find ways to win when it comes to March and they take on a Duke team that hasn’t looked their best. UConn has done it defensively and allowed just 63 points to Michigan State last time out. This will be a similar feel game where they lean on their defense and slow things down, having Duke out of rhythm. This is too many points in this spot as UConn has the talent to give Duke all they can handle. Expect a close game throughout. Grab the points.

Purdue +6.5

Purdue has value here as they take on Arizona. This Purdue team has either had issues in March in the past, or they do what they’re doing now and setting themselves up for a deep run. They come in after beat Texas with just seconds left and they’re playing with a lot of confidence. They’ve won 7 in a row and that includes beating a Michigan team that has a similar style to Arizona. Expect Purdue to come out aggressive and turn this into a physical game. This Boilermakers defense has the talent to slow down Arizona and really put the pressure on them. Back Purdue.

Chicago and Memphis meet and we’re on the Bulls. These have been two of the more disappointing teams this season, but Chicago has at least been far more competitive and put together good performances. The Bulls beat Memphis back on 3/16 in blowout fashion and this is a great spot for them again as Memphis has dropped 5 in a row. They've scored 112 at the most during this stretch as this offense just has had so many issues all season. This is a great spot on Chicago. Back the Bulls.

Rick Barnes has continued to be one of the best coaches during the tournament and he’s close to his third straight Elite 8 appearance. He has this Tennessee team playing at such a high level and they’re getting the job done on both ends of the floor. They’ve allowed just 56 and 72 points in their wins and they’re turning a lot of defense into offense. Iowa State is beaten up and even if Joshua Jefferson plays, he’s going to not even be close to 100%. Grab the points. Back Tennessee.

UConn and Michigan State clash and we’re on UConn here. The Huskies are just too deep of a team and they’re playing extremely well right now. Michigan State has struggled with top teams this season and the Huskies right now have far too much momentum. Expect the to make a run early and keep their foot on the gas. Back UConn.

Alabama has battled off the court issues with players and they just don’t have the defense to keep up here. They give up 82.5 ppg and this will be one of the best offenses they’ve seen all season. Iowa has been playing with a lot of confidence and they’re 1-1 this season against Nebraska after a win and overtime loss. Iowa has held Clemson to just 61 points and Florida to 72 as this defense is causing a lot of havoc. They’re a deeper team and have more talent overall than this Nebraska side. Back Iowa. Good to +1

Texas and Purdue meet in the Sweet 16 and we’re on Texas with the points. The Longhorns have had to play 3 games with being in the First Four and they haven’t missed a beat. They’ve done it defensively, giving up 66, 71, and 68 points in their 3 wins and they love to play a half court style gam. They’re going to do just that to a Purdue team that has struggled with team’s that love to play slow. Detroit and Los Angeles meet and we’re on the Pistons. Detroit has won 6 of 7 and they continue to put up impressive performances on both ends of the floor. Los Angels continues to find ways to win, but this will be a tough situational spot for them as they’re in the midst of a long road trip and have to head to Indiana right after this. VCU is the move against UNC. This is such a tricky VCU team as they play physical and they cause a lot of havoc with turnovers. UNC has been inconsistent at times this season and they limp in after back to back losses. VCU averages over 80 ppg offensively and they have a lot of weapons both inside and out. SMU and Miami Ohio meet in the First Four and this is a great spot on SMU. Miami Ohio has not played any quad 1 teams and this is the first real opponent overall they’ve met. Out of the ACC, SMU averaged over 84 ppg and they had their chances this year in a lot of games. Miami Ohio allowed 75.3 ppg with their weak schedule and this will be too much of a step up for them in competition. SMU will dictate a lot and defensively they’ll be too much for the Redhawks to keep up with. The high pressure and suffocating of shooters will ultimately overwhelm Miami. Back SMU.

NC State and Texas meet in the First Four and we’re on Nc State. The Longhorns limp in as they totally bottomed out down the stretch, losing 3 in a row and 5 of their last 6. That’s been the story all year for them and they have been a struggle defensively. They give up nearly 77 ppg and it’s got a lot worse here over the last few weeks. They’re vulnerable to transition play and Nc State is going to push the tempo on them. Expect the Wolfpack to try and run as much as they can early, wearing down Texas as this game goes on. Golden State has value as they take on the Wizards. It’s been full on tank mode for the Wizards, who have dropped 11 in a row and they’re just not competitive in any of these games. Golden State continues to be short handed, but they’re battling and this is a perfect matchup for them to grab a win in. Expect this Warriors offense to create a lot of open looks in a lopsided game. VCU has value against Dayton on Sunday. The A-10 Championship features two teams who needed all the wins they could get this tournament and now they’ll battle it out for an auto bid to remove all doubt. While Dayton upset St. Louis, they still have a lot of flaws and they run into a red hot VCU team. VCU won by 13 against St. Joe’s in a game they led by double digits from the opening tip. They beat Dayton in both meetings and they just have far too many weapons for Dayton to keep up. This is a great number and spot on VCU to remove all doubt and secure their spot in the tourney. UMass and Toledo meet in the MAC semi finals and were on UMass with the points. Umass is off an upset win over 1 seed Miami, that ended their perfect season. This is a team that plays quick and they can put up points in a hurry. They’re averaging over 80 ppg and put up 84 earlier this season in an 84-82 win over Toledo. This will be a game where they push the tempo and look to force a lot of transition play, which will have them in rhythm early. They have so many weapons offensively and they’ll cause a lot of issues for this Rockets defense. Back UMass.

Kent State and OU meet in the MAC Tournament and we’re on Kent State. The Golden Flashes defeated OU in their only meeting 72-57 in a game where they were without Rob Whaley Jr. They’ll have him for this game and they come in winners of back to back games with momentum. Ohio is off a devastating home loss to Miami in a game where they poured everything they had into an overtime game. While they had a layoff, this is still a bad situational spot for them as Kent State plays with a ton of speed and pressure. The Golden Flashes will suffocate these OU shooters and cause a lot of problems in the paint. Back Kent State.

The Cavs have value laying the small number in Orlando. Cleveland is off a win over Phili as they continue to just try and get healthy. They’ll now be without Allen for this game, but have had Mitchell back the last few games which has been big. Cleveland has won 3 of 4 and this year they’re already 2-0 against the Magic. Cleveland has always seemingly had the Magic’s number as this is just not a good matchup on either end of the floor for Orlando. Expect Cleveland to dictate the pace and control the paint. Maryland is the move over Oregon in the Big 10 Tournament. Oregon and Maryland both are off disappointing seasons, but the Ducks had far more expectations. The Pistons and Nets battle and we’re on the Pistons laying the points. Brooklyn has lost 10 in a row and they’re not just losing these games, they’re getting blown out. Cleveland still has a lot of depth and this is a game where Allen and Mobley will be the difference. Expect Cleveland to play through them and control the paint on both ends of the floor. The Celtics have value laying the points. Boston is not just beating teams, but they’re blowing them out convincingly when they win. They’re off a 148-111 win over Brooklyn and now take on a shorthanded Bucks side. Milwaukee was just blown out by Chicago 120-97 and they haven’t had any sort of rhythm all year. Boston has far too many weapons and a much better offensive attack that will wear down this Bucks defense right from the start. Boston only gives up 107 ppg defensively as well, as they swarm to the ball and rarely allow many 2nd or 3rd chances on possessions. The Mavericks have value as they take on the Grizzlies. Both teams continue to be shorthanded as they’re dealing with many injuries. He’s dropped 36 and 21 in each of his last two games and he gets to go up against a Memphis defense that is just a mess. Illinois and Michigan meet and we’re on Illinois. This is a prime bounce back spot after having to run their California trip and losing to UCLA at the buzzer on Saturday. They got a much needed layoff and now will have this place rocking with one of the top teams in the nation in town. Illinois has played exceptionally well at home and overall this offense is so difficult to stop. They average 85.1 ppg and turn defense into offense better than anyone. They only concede 69.0 ppg and their high pressure defense will have Michigan struggling to find open looks. Illinois is the move. Back the Fighting Illini.

Houston and Orlando meet and we’re on the Rockets. Houston has won back to back games and they’ve done it with dominant offense. They put up 125 and 128 in those wins as this offense just has so many weapons that can hurt opponents. Combine that with how good this team is defensively and they’re just such an overwhelming opponent. They gave up 105 and 97 in those two wins and overall they average just 109.1 ppg against. Orlando will struggle to get into any sort of rhythm offensively themselves, as Houston will wear them out as this game goes on. Back the Rockets.

Cal is being undervalued in this spot. Cal has flown under the radar a bit, as they come in with 19 wins and have won back to back games. They’re looking for another win to pad their resume and beating an SMU team here will go a long way. Cal has been solid on both ends of the floor so far this season and their pace has caused issues for opponents. They average nearly 79 ppg and they like to push the ball a lot in transition. SMU has struggled at times with fast teams and this will be a game they have their hands full with Cal’s ability to shoot from the outside. San Antonio and Toronto meet and there is good value on the Spurs. Toronto is off a loss to the Thunder and they have just struggled when it comes to playing top teams. They’re averaging nearly 119 ppg and only giving up 111.9, as they have been so difficult to crack with their speed and length. Dallas and Brooklyn meet and we’re on the Mavs. Brooklyn is just in an absolute free fall and they’ve dropped 4 straight games. They’re struggling on both sides of the floor and they’re even managing to score in the 80’s during this recent stretch, which is extremely tough to do in today’s NBA. Dallas is off a good win over Indiana and despite their injury issues, they’re still battling this season. Golden State continues to be without Curry and this offense just hasn’t had the same firepower. They have dropped back to back games and now they have to play through Porzingis, who simply can’t be a difference maker. Jokic and Murray, along with the rest of the supporting cast put up 157 on Portland and this young group from the Warriors will struggle defensively. Drexel and Towson meet and we’re on Drexel. Drexel is off a 70-61 win over Northeastern and this is a revenge spot after losing to Towson by 2 earlier this year. Drexel only allows 67.7 ppg and this defense is going to be the difference. They swarm to the ball and force a lot of turnovers, which should lead to some easy transition buckets. Towson has lost 2 of 3 and their issues stem offensively. They don’t have a lot of weapons and Drexel’s defense will expose that. Grab the home side.

Illinois -6

Illinois and UCLA meet out west and this is a great line on Illinois. UCLA was blown out in back to back games against Michigan and Michigan State, as they have struggled against good teams all year for the most part. Both Michigan sides put up over 80 points in those games and this Illinois offense is even better. They average 84.8 ppg and they’re just so deep. UCLA doesn’t have the firepower to keep up and the Illini are going to find a lot of open shooting lanes as they wear down this UCLA side as the game gets deeper and deeper. Lay the points. Vanderbilt -4

Vanderbilt and Tennessee meet and we’re on Vandy in this spot. This is a great bounce back spot after a tough 1 point loss to Missouri last time out and Vanderbilt has been a team all year that typically bounces back in big ways. They have one of the best offenses in the SEC, putting up 88.1 ppg. They will turn this game into a track meet and have the Volunteers scrambling defensively. Tennessee hasn’t looked as good on the road all season long and they’re going to wear down against the pace this Vandy side runs with. Back Vanderbilt at home.
