Value has slid on the Rockies as their pitching staff has struggled to maintain. Statistically that’s been the case for Colorado’s Jeff Hoffman. He has an ERA of 4.33 and has struggled with walks and hits. With the Pirates having won eight of nine one has to wonder if Hoffman can hold it together here. He’ll show the growth in this outing and lead Colorado to victory.

Cleveland embarks a series against the Blue Jays as a questionable favorite. Pitcher Trevor Bauer lasted less than an inning in his last start against the A’s allowing four runs. On the other side Toronto’s Marco Estrada has not won a start since May. That factor combined with the Indians off-day Wednesday are factors for an improper line. Grab the Blue Jays.

The Oakland As have quietly gained traction as an underdog having won eight of their last twelve games. Friday they’ll travel to New York to take on a Mets team that they match in wins with forty-three. Paul Blackburn has impressed in three starts for the A’s but will experience his first major road test. Grab the Mets here. 

The Yankees continue their road travels as they head from Minnesota to Seattle. This is the third leg of a road trip that began post All-Star break in Boston. Pitching issues were expected from the Yankees but it’s the bats that have been even more an issue.  Thursday, expect the team to rise to the occasion against veteran Felix Hernandez against the .500 Mariners.

Thursday, the Red Sox will once again put struggling veteran Doug Sister on the mound. Thus far he has not shown to be starter worthy with a 6.75 ERA and an 0-3 record. Yet, opposite Fister is Francisco Liriano who has a similar ERA north of six. Side with the home Red Sox to find a way to bypass Fister’s woes. 

It’s typically unusual to see a home team as a steep underdog, unless a stout pitcher is on the mound. That’s the case Wednesday as Zack Greinke boasts an 11-4 record with a dominant 2.86 ERA. Furthermore, his Diamondbacks scored eleven runs in an unchallenged victory on Tuesday. Yet, I like the value here against Greinke due to rest from the All-Star break. This line is also skewed based on Greinke’s dominance of the Reds on July 7th.

Padres starter Dinelson Lamet has had a typical roller coaster rookie season. After starting off 2-0 he has only one win since May 30th. That drought combined with the Rockies recent scoring barrage are worrisome for Tuesday. Yet, I'll caution against Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela whose 9-3 record isn't on par with his 4.63 ERA.

Monday, the Tigers had a standout win against the Royals to the tune of 10-2. Tuesday, Tigers pitcher Matthew Boyd gets the start in his return debut. He has not pitched since May 31st. An expected short outing and the Tigers subpar bullpen are detractors on a balanced spread. Instead of tilting towards the home Royals, grab the value on the Tigers.

In all likelihood Bartolo Colon is making the last stop of his MLB career. The 44 year old struggled mightily as a starter in Atlanta before latching on recently with the Twins. Fortunately, the Twins are catching a tired Yankees team from a Sunday double-header and second road series. Grab the value here for a Twins Tuesday win.

Is Chicago ready to make a run? Monday, they'll look to build off a strong weekend as they head to Atlanta. In order to continue their upward ascent they'll need to take on a surging Braves team. Atlanta swept the Diamondbacks post All-Star break with great hitting. Even though Jon Lester is coming off an awful start, this is a momentum continuation spot. Grab the Cubs here even in heading into another road series. 

Prior to All-Star break the Arizona Diamondbacks lost eight of eleven games. Issues with closer Fernando Rodney and a 20-21 road record were prime factors in their slide. Now the question is was the Diamondbacks first half of the season a mirage. Friday play the Diamondbacks on downtrending value opposed Braves veteran RA Dickey. Four consecutive starts allowing an earned run or less from Dickey has peaked his in-season market value. 

Here we have a flip of fortunes with the Astros and Blue Jays. For the Astros Brad Peacock has been phenomenal out of the bullpen to the tune of a 6-1 record. On the other hand JA Happ has been solid with a 3.47 ERA but not record-wise (3-5). Here, look for the Blue Jays to carry yesterday's momentum into another solid home win.

A surprise for the Seattle Mariners has been pitcher Andrew Smith. He'll get his third start tonight against the Oakland As. A benefit for Smith is that all of his starts have been at Safeco field. Yet, this line is a bit staggered as the As are just 14-28 on the road. Grab the underdog As here as Chris Smith makes his first start out of the bullpen.

There is no doubt that Rangers starter Tyson Ross is not near the form of two years ago. Since returning to the rotation on June 16th, Ross has a 6.41 ERA. Furthermore, he has averaged around five innings each outing. Yet, the Rangers are hitting the ball extremely well and should garner the support necessary to aide Ross.

On Thursday, the Red Sox lost to the Rays with Chris Sale on the mound. That has created carry over value that benefitted Red Sox backers Friday and for today as well. Sidestep the woes of Red Sox struggling veteran Rick Porcello (4-10, 5.01 ERA). Production for the Rays bats has been quiet this series and should continue today. Grab the Red Sox.

Thursday, a six-run third inning was all the Twins needed to secure a victory over the Baltimore Orioles. With Thursday's loss the Orioles have now lost seven of nine games. Tonight, they'll aim to receive a strong outing from pitcher Kevin Gausmann . Gausmann is coming off his most efficient start of the year in a win versus the Rays. Still, the value lies with the Twins as the Orioles losing ways we'll continue to trickle into All Star break.

Six of nine losses has caused the Chicago Cubs to falter to below .500 at 41-42. Part of their woes have been through starting pitcher John Lackey. After an atrocious last start in which he surrendered eight runs his ERA now lies at 5.24. Facing a dangerous hitting team such as the Rays may seem like a tempting spot to grab the underdog. Instead, grab the price here on Chicago to be the latest team to put a blemish on Blake Snell's record.

Aside from a shaky outing against the Cubs, the Pirates Jameson Tailon has been dynamite. He's posted a 3-1 record with a 2.90 ERA. Yet his performance as a whole can't stir the Pirates. As a team they've lost four consecutive as they continue to distance themselves in the NL Central. While the Phillies are tough to back in consecutive outings this is a spot that we will. Grab Philadelphia.

Monday, the Minnesota Twins return home after a lengthy eleven game road stretch. In fact, they've lost six of eight games and are now just one game above .500 at 41-40. They'll aim to get the best of Angels pitcher Alex Meyer whom they faced June 1st. In that outing Meyer allowed just one earned run. Off a shutout effort against the Dodgers the value lies with the home Twins. Play Minnesota.

Monday, the Toronto Bluejays will aim for continued success from starter Marcus Stroman. After consecutive losses he delivered a stellar outing in his last start allowing no earned runs against the Orioles. On the other hand the Yankees return home after a tough road series to the Astros. Although the Bluejays have lost four straight, they'll be able to put up runs against a struggling Yankees bullpen and start Masahiro Tanaka. Grab the Bluejays.

We've seen a big price swing between the Orioles and Rays of $15. The Rays hot bats have been in cruise control Friday and Saturday leading to victories. Sunday's detractive price is based on the Orioles consecutive losses and starting pitcher Kevin Gausmann's season long struggles. Still, we'll grab the value here on the Orioles.

Over the last several years the Astros have had the upper hand over the Yankees in series match ups. Saturday's showcase is one that current pitching numbers have to be bypassed for more of a team emphasis. Astros starter Francis Martes ERA of 5.51 is unworthy of being favored over a potent Yankees club. Yet perhaps no pitcher over the first half of the season has had masked pitching stats as much as the Yankees Jordan Montgomery. His plaguing tendencies and a downgraded Yankees bullpen will serve as Saturday's matchup outlier.

Clear victories are typically hard to ignore for attraction the following day. Friday's runaway victory by the Cardinals poses as a detractor of current market value. Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez has danced around a high walk rate to be one of the more efficient middle rotation starters in baseball. He'll put in another solid days of work and lead the Nationals to victory.

The Rockies ten game tail spin began with home losses to the Diamondbacks. Their grueling road trip will continue as they start their third road series in Phoenix on Friday. On the mound for Arizona will be Robbie Ray whom has not lost an outing since May 9th. There is a price overlay here based on Ray's stout record and Arizona's 30-12 home record. Combine that with Jon Gray's first start in over two months and the value lies with the Rockies.

Consecutive starts against the same opponent is often a difficult task for any starting pitcher. On a rookies shoulders such as the Rays Jacob Faria elevates the matter. As steep favorites this past Saturday the Rays lost 8-3 at home with Faria on the mound. Instead of evaluating that team loss, aim for the future value if Faria had moved to 4-0 last Saturday. Grab the Rays here.

Padres top pitching prospect Dinelson Lamet has had a mixed first handful of starts in the big leagues. Two quality starts including a win against the Cubs over valued him. He quickly went through a rough patch before settling in his last two starts. Look for Jaymie Garcia to have the value here as the slight road favorite with a 2-5 record. Grab the road value here.

Closing in on All-Star break can create a false sense of teams with hope. Consecutive losses by the Royals have put oddsmakers in a tough pricing spot Wednesday. The last instance where the Royals lost three in a row was during their nine game losing streak to conclude April. Ride the oddsmakers pricing the Royals past value of having won eleven of their last fifteen. Play the Tigers. 

Wednesday we'll look for continuation of the Mets third road series to create value for the Marlins. On Tuesday as steep underdogs the Mets failed to carry over the offense displayed in their weekend series in San Francisco. Marlins Wednesday's starter in Jeff Locke's poor 0-3 record may ignite incorrect value on the slim price difference here. Instead grab the Marlins.

The Angels have won consecutive road games to get back over .500. Monday the setup lies of a perfect price overlay on the Dodgers. Travel is already a factor against the Angels as they're coming off road series against the Yankees and Boston. Combine that with the Dodgers ten game win streak and abnormal value lies with the Angels.

Suddenly the Rockies pitching has eroded. They've lost five consecutive games while yielding an average of 9.4 runs per game. Not much has went right for the Giants either as they've now lost twelve of thirteen games. Yet here look for starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija to pitch efficient enough to offset his poor 2-9 record. Grab the Giants here.

The Braves will attempt to sweep the Brewers on Sunday with top starter Julio Teheran on the mound. Here though we'll side with the value on the Brewers. Their starter in Zach Davies has struggled with a high ERA all season. Yet he does have a positive win to loss record at 7-5. While Teheran has had a string of success go against the grain here with the value on the road underdog.

Should this money line spread be reversed? If not for the Pirates 14-22 road record that likely would be the case. In his last start against the Cubs Pirates pitcher Jameson Tailon showed a bit of the rust expected from his recent return from the DL. Yet the Cardinals Adam Wainwright has had a June that has seen his ERA rise every outing. Grab the Pirates here.

The combination of hitting and pitching is starting to turn the corner for the Chicago Cubs. Last night's 11-1 win on the road over the Marlins was arguably their best production on both sides of the spectrum all season. They've now won four of five games and are getting solid road value here again against the Marlins.

Garnering his first start for the Mariners today will be Andrew Moore. While there is no supportive data on Moore, we'll back the Mariners as a whole as they have now won four straight games. They've done so with prime offense and a bullpen becoming much more efficient. Grab the Mariners to complete the four-game sweep.

Tonight the proper setup is in-line for value on the home underdog A's. Oddsmakers have to yield proper consideration to the away team Astros based on their overall and away record. Furthermore, the Astros pounded A's ace Sonny Gray in last night's 8-4 victory. Grab the value here on the A's as Mike Fiers turn around phenomenal June reverses course.

Four consecutive losses have put the Phillies at 22-47. A solid effort last night by starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson was thwarted by seven runs allowed from the bullpen. That puts attractive value today on the Phillies. Look for an opposite result from Phillies starter Nick Pivetta who lost in St. Louis on June 10th by allowing four runs in five innings.

Three straight strong outings from Jordan Zimmerman has given a bit of false turn around perception. Still, Zimmerman's ERA is north of five. Coming off his longest outing of the season with eight innings and 108 pitches is worrisome here. Grab the value of unheralded starter Miranda against the veteran Zimmerman.

Here we have a price solely based on team strength versus starting pitching. Obviously under normal circumstances an 8-3 led Greinke team would be a sizable favorite here. Riding a five game hitting streak that has been done with the old style run support of the Rockies is worthy backing here. Grab the Rockies who will get it done yet again with better hitting and a strong bullpen than the Diamondbacks.

The BlueJays find themselves as favorites by ten dollars more than yesterday's price. Heading into game two on the road against the Rangers the Blue Jays battered the Rangers with timely hitting on Tuesday. A key ninth inning against the Rangers closer Matt Bush sealed the deal in game one. In game two look for more of an all around balanced attack for the Blue Jays to win another.

We'll take the road Pirates on Monday as they face the Brewers. The question here lies with Pirates pitcher Gerritt Cole. Cole has not won consecutive outings all season. This should be a big test for Cole coming off one of his best pitching performances in a win against the Rockies. Though there is a seven game win difference between the two teams the price is right here on the road Pirates.

Here we'll grab the Braves as they look to conclude their series against the Marlins with consecutive wins. Thanks to four rbi's from Matt Adams the Braves were able to walk-off and defeat the Marlins in the tenth inning last night. Here side with the home value on the Braves as attraction lies with the Marlins and Jose Urena's 5-2 overall record.

We'll grab the value here on the Giants as they take on the red-hot Rockies. Here the value lies with the polar opposite records of both starting pitchers. Giants starter Jeff Samardzija's record stands at 2-8 while Antonio Senzatela is 8-2. For Senzatela signs are starting to show that he be wearing down a bit. Over his last few starts he has had mixed results. Grab the Giants here off the value of the Rockies seventeen game win difference of the Giants.

Off a rest day the Atlanta Braves will start Sean Newcomb for the second time. In his first start on the 10th he went six solid innings not allowing a run against the Mets. The bullpen caved that opportunity for Newcomb. Expect better run support against the Marlins pen and starter Dan Straily. Grab the slight home favorites here in the Braves.

The poor road team in the Baltimore Orioles have high value on Thursday as Chris Tillman takes the mound. Tillman's ERA has ballooned to over eight, with his record showcasing the results of 1-4. While Chicago did take the first two games of the series, Zack sees Baltimore evening things out off of Wednesday's win. Grab the Orioles.

The Angels will look to build upon last night's extra inning walk off win against the Yankees. They used an eighth inning home run by Eric Young Jr. and a walk off by him to complete the task. Tonight will be much more difficult as they face Michael Pineda. Yet grab the Angels as the value home underdog here.

Detracting value lies with the Reds on Monday. The merit of their pitching has teetered on their current road trip. They were swept by the Dodgers as starting and bullpen pitching could not sustain. Traveling to San Diego game one starter Bronson Arroyo figures to continue their road woes. Attraction for the Padres here lies with the fact that the Reds are 10-18 on the road and Arroyo has not won a start since May 5th. Yet, take the value on the Reds as slight underdogs.

White Sox pitcher Mike Pelfrey has posted four consecutive solid outings. Two were his first winning decisions of the season and another a no-decision start. A long nine-game road trip has stirred value here at home Monday for the White Sox. Boasting a 10-20 record does not assure oddsmakers Monday with veteran Wade Miley coming off a horrid home start against the Pirates.

Sunday two young pitchers get the start as Kansas City sends Jake Junis and the Padres Dinelson Lamet. After two solid starts Lamet was rocked his last outing against Arizona, which heavily skewed his ERA. For the Royals pitching problems will not go away, but their bread and butter needs to come via their veteran bats. Look for that edge to be the difference Sunday.

Sunday former Giants farm system pitcher Nick Turley will get the start for the Twins. Coming off yesterday's 3-2 win the Twins will look to attack hard-hit veteran Matt Cain. Bettors have now began to recognize and fade the Giants who are now fourteen games below .500. Furthermore, the Giants have also lost seven of nine home games. Sunday though grab the low-market value on the Giants.

We'll lean on the underdog Phillies for Thursday. Yesterday, support came in on the Braves properly as they ended a five game losing streak to the Phillies. Tonight, command issues with 42 year old RA Dickey should be on full display. He has three or more batters in five straight games while yielding an average of 7 hits in those outings. Grab the value here on the Philies after yesterday's hit parade by the Braves to the tune of 14 runs.

Consecutive losses have drawn back the value on the Dodgers Tuesday. Over the course of the past eighteen innings the offense has produced just two runs. Both of those runs were against a worn down final inning from Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez. Facing sharp veteran Max Scherzer doesn't bode well, yet the value is on the side of the Dodgers. Look for the effective bullpen of the Dodgers to shine here.

In Oakland's last three games they've scored a combined twenty-five runs. After winning game one last night against Toronto, this would seem like a spot for Jesse Hahn to snap out of his poor season record. Overall he's 1-4 and has not won since April 19th. Eerily both Hahn and Toronto starter Marco Estrada are coming off starts of less than three innings. Yet, side with the value on Toronto halting the run production of the A's tonight.

The woes for Chicago are not solved just yet. Having shown life with their bats the Cubs were able to stage consecutive come back wins against the Cardinals. That's likely elevated their price for Monday as they start another home series against the Marlins. Miami is one of the few teams in MLB that has a core mix of hitters and bullpen pitching from three seasons ago. They'll step up to the challenge of giving the Cubs their best effort. Grab the Marlins.

Yesterday the White Sox lost in disastrous fashion to the Detroit Tigers 15-5. They'll look to Miguel Gonzalez to out duel struggling ace Jordan Zimmerman Saturday. This is the same matchup as five days ago when the White Sox lineup got the best of Zimmerman for seven runs. While I don't expect the same battering of Zimmerman by the White Sox, I do like the value here based on Zimmerman's revenge and last night's ten run win. Grab Chicago.

Off consecutive road appearances Yu Darvish returns home to face the hot hitting Astros. Factored into tonight's line is the fact that both teams were off Thursday. Also the Astros are amidst their second road trip series. Still, look for the typical recipe from the Astros to flourish here on the road. Grab Houston.

Another road trip variable lies tonight with the Atlanta Braves. They'll embark on their third consecutive road trip tonight against Cincinnati. This comes after a west coast trip with series against the Angels and Giants. Still grab the value here on the Braves with the road variable too heavily weighted into tonight's line.

For the second consecutive game the Orioles offense was ignited in a 7-5 win over the Red Sox. That's a positive sign for Buck Showalter's Orioles who blister the ball with team succession as best as any team in MLB. After hitting four home runs off the Red Sox last night one would expect another hot hitting night against Rick Porcello. Hits have been frequently allowed by Porcello who has surrendered nine or more hits in four consecutive starts. Yet, grab the value here on Boston as Baltimore's recent three of four wins has overs shadowed having lost eight of eleven.

Play Angels

The Rockies will try to avoid being swept on Thursday against the Mariners. To do so they'll need to rely on starting pitcher Kyle Freeland and a bullpen that's had a rough series. Overall the Mariners have outscored the Rockies 21 runs to 9. Freeland's issues with giving up home runs (4 in L3 starts) is a concern but grab the Rockies in a quick turn around from last night's game.

Can the Dodgers win their seventh straight? To do so they'll need to defeat the Cardinal once again in St. Louis. Last night they needed a come back win to get the job done but cruised to a 9-4 win. In fact, all of their wins during this streak have come by four runs or greater. The combination of hitting and pitching will continue to get the job tonight. Grab the value here as this is sided on Martinez side based on Ryu's wins and losses.

The Orioles return home having being swept on the road against the Astros. The sweep added to the Orioles losing streak to bring their loss total to seven straight. Correcting their issues in a home return figures to be a boost against the Yankees young pitcher in Jordan Montgomery. He has had issues with command and hasn't garnered a win in three straight starts. Yet, with the Orioles struggling at the plate to produce runs grab the value here on the Yankees.

We'll look for the home value tonight on a Pirates team that won in comeback fashion over the Mets in extras Saturday. With both teams below .500 this game could be a momentum builder in front of a nationally televised audience. While Tyler Glasnow has had a tough time with hits and his ERA, expect the Pirates to find a way to win this one similar to yesterday.

A value overview in handicapping MLB is finding attraction from the night prior's over evaluation. Yesterday the Cubs received prime support as they took the field with Jake Arrieta as an underdog. Of course just two years ago he had pitched a no-hitter in a prime time spot against the Dodgers. The Cubs fell flat yesterday and did so with zero run support. Saturday though look for the Cubs second night in Los Angeles to fare better. Jon Lackey whom is coming off consecutive short outings of allowing four total home runs is devalued here with a 4.82 ERA. Grab the Cubs.

Saturday features two perfect components to grab the Orioles. First, the Baltimore Orioles have lost five straight games. In those five games they've scored three runs or less in four of those outings. The return of Dallas Keuchel here is expected to be a moot point as his designation to the DL had nothing to do with arm or lower body issues. His unblemished 7-0 record and stellar track record at home is expected to withstand Wade Miley's woes. Overall, Miley has not won a start since over a month ago on April 14th. It's the perfect over play by the books on the number here. During Keuchel's triumphant season two seasons ago (same time period May 25th/June 4th) Keuchel did not register a win in two one-run loss affairs against the Orioles.   Grab the high value on the Orioles.

Drawing off Sunday night baseball's prime time win, Yu Darvish will head on the road once again Saturday. This is a troublesome spot on a long road trip for Darvish. He struggled with command the first three innings against the Tigers before settling in his last start. With the Rangers bullpen woes that have resurfaced yet again, look for the Blue Jays to hold their home value Saturday.

Two veteran pitchers that are having major difficulty this season have been Matt Cain and Jaime Garcia. Cain is coming off another disastrous performance allowing nine hits and seven earned runs to the Cardinals. Yet Cain's stout home performances have led to the Giants being favored today. Thus far in four home games he has allowed just four earned runs in nearly eighteen innings of work. Many would expect rust here with the Braves as they travel in off of yesterday's home loss to the Pirates. Instead grab the prime value here with Atlanta.

Not often do teams get over forty-eight hours of rest during the MLB season. That's the case for the Twins who played a day game on Wednesday and were off Thursday. This comes off a road sweep of the Baltimore Orioles in which they won in a variety of ways. Consecutive losses from Rays pitcher Chris Archer should end here as the value lies with the road Rays.

Sometimes a pitcher's return can be misdirected mentally by facing the wrong opponent. The Brewers Junior Guerra will face a major challenge in his return since April 3rd as he faces the Diamondbacks. This is a spot to buy the momentum team once more before the weekend value erodes. Quietly, the Diamondbacks have won twelve of fifteen and have got wins via the unheralded pitchers on their staff. Grab the Diamondbacks.

We'll grab the value here on Thursday with the Astros facing the Tigers. Yesterday, the Tigers ended a prolonged slump by attacking Astros pitcher Charlie Morton and the Astros pen. Yet, the Astros as a whole should bounce back soundly here against Tigers veteran Justin Verlander. Look for a bit of cobwebs from the Tigers as they end the first series of three on the road.

The Rays lost a close matchup yesterday to the Angels by the tune of 3-2. Tuesday renders another solid pitching matchup in this series as Matt Shoemaker squares off against Alex Cobb. Shoemaker has won consecutive games including a season-high nine strikeouts in his last start. Yet, I like the value here on the Rays who will end their two-game losing streak.

Texas Rangers starter Yu Darvish has been as consistent as one can expect. He boasts a 2.76 ERA and has not lost a game in over a month. Even his two losses this year have been respectable outings. Still, I like the value here on the home Tigers who ended the Rangers ten game win steak Saturday and will now hand them a two-game losing streak. Grab the Tigers.

The Yankees have lost consecutive games and look to be showing a bit of fatigue on their fifth road game. Saturday, the Yankees will hope to get a better outing from starter Tanaka who is coming off a brutal performance against the Astros. After allowing eight earned runs this may be a danger spot for him. Yet, I like the value here on the Yankees as the Rays have won three straight including two on the road against the Indians.

We'll grab the value here on the Pirates in the second game against the Phillies. Yesterday the Phillies pounded the Pirates pitching to win easily on the road. They'll get young Vince Velasquez to take the mound today. A solid strikeout pitcher, Velasquez, has also produced two of three quality starts. Those starts came against the Nationals and Cubs. Yet, look for the Pirates to get back into gear today with the win.

Matt Moore finally ended his woes in his last start against the Reds. After a couple of shaky innings he found his rhythm and confidence. Still out of the divisional picture the Giants have climbed back into respectability having won six of seven. Bullpen issues for the Cardinals cost them consecutive games included their last on national television. That and the Giants run of wins have the side on the Cardinals devalued. Grab the Cardinals.

The Blue Jays obliterated the Atlanta Braves yesterday against Julio Teheran. Hitting has been much better for the Blue Jays which figures to continue against Orioles pitcher Chris Tillman. Yet, look for the Orioles to respond off a blown game yesterday against the Tigers. Grab the Orioles.

In yesterday's double-header against the Twins the Rockies lost the second game with zero runs scored. A rested Reds team comes into tonight's series having lost six straight. They'll aim to ride the arm of young starter Lisalverto Bonilla who pitched eight solid innings his last start. Yet the value lies on the Rockies as the rested Reds won't end their losing streak.

Kansas City's pitching thus far against the Yankees has proved incapable. They'll aim to turn things around Thursday with the reliable arm of Danny Duffy. Duffy has not won a game since April 14th which surely has sparked the side here on the young Yankees Jordan Montgomery. Instead grab the Royals to manage to pull this one out.

The Cardinals have won eight of nine to take a small lead in the NL Central. Tuesday they'll lean on one of their pitchers that's been a big part of the turn around in Lance Lynn. Lynn had a no decision in his last start but had won the previous four. While Boston's Eduardo Rodriguez has been at his best his last four starts, it's safe to say he is due to come back to Earth. Grab the Cardinals to continue their winnings ways.

The Yankees travel on the road after a tough home series against the Astros. In game one they'll face struggling Royals pitcher in Jason Hammel. Hammel is 1-4 overall and is coming off a thirteen hit loss to the Rays. Yet, as a whole the Royals are climbing back out of a hole having won six of seven. Their bullpen has quietly performed better. Expect that to be the difference with the Yankees dealing with Chapman on the DL.

Having lost nine of eleven the Padres have shown plaguing holes in their lineup and pitching staff. Tonight they'll need a sharp outing from Luis Perdomo to aide their struggling bats. Expect Brewers starter Chase Anderson to hold forth in this one before the bullpen surrenders the game.

Monday, seek value in the road Oakland A's as they travel to Seattle. The As are coming off being swept by the Rangers in which they lost all via blown leads. With the Mariners returning home from a six-game road trip, the value may seem to lie with Seattle. Instead, look for the As to find a way to close this one out and finally land in the win column.

The Braves experiment with veteran Bartolo Colon continues to be a roller coaster. He is coming off allowing eight runs via three long balls to the Astros. He is also just nine days away from turning 44. Still, seek the value on the Braves who are facing an over valued Blue Jays team that has won six of seven.

Yesterday, the Rangers attacked the Athletics bullpen to complete a come from behind win. Sunday, they'll aim to win their sixth straight and sweep the A's. This is a value spot as AJ Griffin is 4-0 and defeating the A's on April 17th with six innings of one-hit ball. On the opposite of the spectrum Kendall Graveman of the A's last win was against the Rangers in Texas on April 8th. That's devaluing the Rangers here and is our Mothers Day Special winner with Texas.

Friday, the Royals took game one of their series against the Orioles in their typical low-scoring fashion of 3-2. Saturday, they likely will need more run support against the Orioles as Nathan Karns takes the mound opposed Chris Tillman. Karns has been stellar his last two starts and is getting the low-price here based on the Royals below .500 record of 14-21. Grab the value here on the home Royals.

The Reds must find away to bounce back after a seventeen inning loss last night to the Giants. Yet, they're facing a starting pitcher in Matt Moore that's confidence is beyond rattled. Grab the contrarian play here on the Reds starting unknown Lisalverto Bonilla and the factor of last night's extended loss contributing to a carry over today.

For Friday, we'll look for the value on the Texas Rangers up against the Oakland A's. Rangers pitcher Andrew Cashner is winless on the season at 0-3 and is also ranked in the top ten in the AL for walks. Although the Rangers have been hard to back they've won three straight and are finally getting some consistency within their bullpen. Back the Rangers.

The Detroit Tigers continue their west coast trip with a series in Anaheim. This is a close money line number due to the fact that the Angels have lost six of eight. Adding to the tight number is Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer's early season dominance. Yet, the Tigers are a team that an exposed weak link of their bullpen lingers over consecutive games. They were roughed up last night in a 7-1 loss to the Diamondbacks and I expect that to be an issue again tonight. Grab the Angels.

Value lies Thursday on the Chicago White Sox who are coming off a 7-2 loss yesterday to the Twins. They've now lost four consecutive and seven of nine. Yet, yesterday was also the first game back from a lengthy ten game road trip. Adding to the value here on the White Sox is Phil Hughes inflated 4-1 record. Grab the Sox here.

The Dodgers are coming off a roller coaster thrilling win last night against the Pirates of 4-3. Yet, I see a bit of an off line here as the Pirates poor road record and last night's disparity in hits are factored into tonight's spread. Although Kenta Maeda has had consecutive solid starts he'll have issues against the Pirates lineup. Grab the big underdog payout on the Pirates.

After a hot start out the gate the Diamondbacks have slid back and are now only two games above .500. Having lost five of their last six they'll look to get back on track at home. This should be a safe spot for the Diamondbacks against the inconsistent Tigers pitcher Matt Boyd who hasn't won since April 16th. Grab the value here as the unproven Godley is far devalued here.

Milwaukee

Tuesday, the Brewers will host the Red Sox as Drew Pomeranz takes the mound opposed the Brewers Wily Peralta. Pomeranz high strikeout percentage and consecutive wins over the Orioles and Cubs have Tuesday's spread a bit inflated. Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta has not lasted beyond 5.1 innings his last three starts. Yet expect Peralta to get proper run support that has been an attachment to his 4-2 record.  

Reds

Can the momentum be hotter on the Yankees side? The Yankees showed no signs of fatigue in a rout of the Reds Monday coming off an eighteen inning Sunday night win over the Cubs. Yet, it's hard to envision Yankees starter C.C Sabathia snapping out of a three-game slide that's featured 23 hits allowed, 17 earned runs, and eight walks. Grab the devalued Reds lineup of hitters to end the Yankees six-game win streak.

The Indians come into Monday off of consecutive road wins over Kansas City. Meanwhile the Toronto Blue Jays simply can't get out of their own way. Stroman's last outing lasted just three innings against the Yankees as he surrendered six hits, three walks, and two home runs. Factoring in the Blue Jays shaky bullpen in case of another non quality start is factored here. Instead, I see the Indians bullpen which was used heavily against the Royals being an issue here in the latter innings. Grab the value on the Blue Jays.

Mets starter Robert Gsellman has struggled through his first starts of the season to exhibit a starters role. Yet his strikeout ability has shown and today I expect to see him settle in a bit better from hits/walks. Meanwhile the Marlins are using Omar Despaigne who has shown the ability in years past, but is in a tough spot against the Mets lineup. Grab the Mets.

Perhaps no team has lost oddsmakers money line value as quickly as the Royals. They're bats have been putrid and pitching unreliable. Yet, todays starter in Jason Vargas has four of the Royals ten total wins. Indians starter Josh Tomlin has settled in his last three starts but look for the Royals to build off yesterday's momentum game one victory over the Indians.

Saturday the Blue Jays will hope to ride the veteran hot hand of Marco Estrada as a slight road dog to the Rays. Estrada has been pitching well and is coming off a win at the red-hot Yankees. That's a high detractor here, coupled with the fact that Estrada's worst start this year came in a loss to the Rays. One in which he gave up three home runs. Grab the Rays.

San Diego Padres

Backers of the Rockies lately have noticed the over use of the bullpen combined with hitting woes with Carlos Gonzalez. While, today's starter Antonio Senzatela has been brilliant, he doesn't have the capabilities yet of extending in games. Look for the Padres to win this as yesterday in the latter innings.

NY Yankees

Backers of the Blue Jays when Marcus Stroman is on the mound, have to be extra cautious of a full game play. In fact, in his last start Stroman was superb with ten strikeouts only to witness his bullpen cave in the eighth inning. That's a factor today against the hot hitting Yankees and mounted pressure for Stroman to sustain for seven plus innings. Grab the value here on CC and the Yankees.

The Padres return home after an off-day from a seven-game road trip. On the mound we'll be Trevor Cahill opposed Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood. Of five starts Chatwood has allowed multi home run games in three. Look for the Padres to attack Chatwood again and come out with the value-side win. 

The Tigers took game one Monday over the Indians with early runs against struggling veteran Trevor Bauer. On Tuesday they'll aim to do the same against the Indians top ace in Corey Kluber. In his last start Kluber got away with a shaky first four innings to recover for a quality start. Yet, this is a value play on the Tigers based on Verlander not being a part of a win since opening day. Grab the Tigers.
