We really like the under in this matchup. The line appears to be highly influenced by the high-flying offensive reputations of these franchises, but we think this is an overreaction. Preseason finales rarely bring fireworks, and both squad dynamics point toward a low-scoring, conservative battle.

Both Seattle and Kansas City enter this matchup sitting at 0-2 in exhibition play, with offenses that have heavily struggled to find any sort of high-scoring rhythm. With both head coaches traditionally keeping their game plans extremely vanilla in the final tune-up to protect key players ahead of Week 1, expect heavy doses of the ground game and second-to-third-string quarterback play to keep the clock running.

David's 4% Steelers @ Bills Thursday NFL *MAJOR RAGER*

We really like the away team in this matchup. The line appears to be highly influenced by the perception of Pittsburgh's quarterback depth in the preseason finale, but we think this is an overreaction.

The Bills enter this game rolling through the preseason with back-to-back wins, showing impressive depth on both sides of the football. Buffalo head coach Joe Brady has maintained a disciplined, high-octane setup throughout August, relying on reliable backup play from Kyle Allen and Shane Buechele to execute the offense efficiently. 

While the Steelers have had mixed results this preseason, their offensive momentum drops significantly once their main starters exit. Buffalo's aggressive defense should be able to force turnovers against Pittsburgh's late-game rotations and cover the spread in front of their home crowd.

David's 4% Seahawks @ Titans NFL *BIG BET BANGER* (Sun)

We really like the road team in this matchup. The Seahawks look to bounce back after a tough drop in their preseason opener against Dallas, but their overall roster depth gives them a distinct edge in game two. Tennessee pulled off a narrow victory against San Francisco last week, yet the Titans have traditionally struggled to maintain consistency when laying points. Seattle's backup quarterback rotation and second-unit defense should be able to control the tempo on the road and secure the cover for us.

David's 4% Chiefs @ Bucs NFL *BIG BET BANGER*

We really like the road team in this matchup. The line appears to be highly influenced by the preseason opener results, but we think this is an overreaction. Kansas City (0-1 preseason) brings tremendous roster depth to Raymond James Stadium. 

While Tampa Bay (1-0 preseason) is coming off a 24-16 victory over the Jets, they fell behind early by double digits and managed just 245 total offensive yards. Laying nearly a touchdown in an exhibition game is far too steep of a price against Andy Reid's squad, making Kansas City a strong play to stay well within the number.

David's 4% Jets @ Steelers Friday *BEST BET BANGER*

We really like the over in this matchup. The Steelers showed plenty of offensive life in their preseason opener, pouring on 28 points behind an impressive showing from young passer Drew Allar. He played pretty much the whole second half, and led the Steelers to three touchdowns. 

The Jets are searching for a bounce-back effort, but their second- and third-string offense generated momentum on the ground last week. Running back Braelon Allen provided a big spark with 44 rushing yards and a touchdown, demonstrating that New York's depth can sustain long drives against second-team units. With both coaching staffs giving deep looks to quarterback and skill-position rotations, both teams should find plenty of scoring opportunities.

David's 4% DAL @ SEA (Sat) NFLX *MAJOR RAGER*

We really like the home favorite in this matchup. Preseason games often come down to depth and coaching philosophy, and head coach Mike Macdonald has quickly established a culture in Seattle that values high intensity across the entire roster, even in exhibition games. With starting units expected to sit or see minimal work on both sides, this game will largely be decided by secondary and tertiary options—an area where Seattle's defensive depth gives them a clear edge at home.

Dallas historically tends to take a much more conservative approach to preseason action, prioritizing player health and keeping scheme concepts vanilla rather than pushing for exhibition results. With the Seahawks playing in front of their home crowd and bringing deeper secondary rotations under center to close out the final quarters, Seattle should control the tempo and pull away late.

David's 4% Bucs @ Jets NFLX *MAJOR WAGER* (FRI)

We really like the under in this matchup. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles plan to rest the vast majority of his main starters in this opener. Backup quarterback play against first-team defensive fronts early on usually leads to stalled drives and low-scoring quarters. Bowles historically runs conservative, low-risk game plans in August, resulting in lower-scoring contests.

While the Jets are giving their starters reps, head coach Aaron Glenn noted the primary goal is rust-shaking and system acclimation. Starters are projected for a brief appearance before reserves take over the bulk of the action.

David's Panthers vs Cardinals NFL HOF Game *MONEY MOVER*

We really like the Panthers as NFL football returns with the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. Carolina comes in with solid depth across their secondary rotation, and head coach Dave Canales has systematically used his exhibition games to establish offensive rhythm early.

Arizona steps into this contest under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur, featuring a heavily rotated squad with rookie quarterback Carson Beck getting the start under center. While Hall of Fame Game starters rarely play more than a series or two, Carolina's experienced backup depth and continuity under Canales give them a distinct edge as late-game rotational battles unfold in Canton.

We really like the underdog in this matchup. The line looks mispriced when you consider that, although Jaguars’ new head coach Liam Coen has stated his primary focus is on evaluating depth pieces rather than risking starters, and Miami’s head coach Mike McDaniel has confirmed that the starters will take the field for the finale, this is still a lot of points to cover. We don’t know how much playing time the starters will actually get in the last preseason game, as limiting injury risk must also be a priority for Miami.

David's Ravens vs. Commanders NFLX *BANKROLL BUILDER*

We really like the road team in this matchup. The line looks mispriced when you consider John Harbaugh’s 47-16 career record in preseason games and that he’s aiming to complete a 3-0 preseason. Preseason is his Super Bowl, and we don’t expect him to let us down with a perfect season on the line in this final game.

We really like the favorite in this matchup when you consider the Giants' big edge in depth at quarterback. Even with the starters unlike to take many (if any snaps) the Giants should outscore their opponent by a margin.

We really like the over in this matchup. The line looks too low when you consider the Chargers have already put up big numbers in two preseason wins, a 34-7 blowout of Detroit in the Hall of Fame Game and a 27-13 victory over New Orleans last week. With Justin Herbert and the starters set to see snaps again, and the Rams also coming off a 31-21 win over Dallas, this sets up as another high-scoring game.

We really like the home underdog in this matchup. The line looks mispriced when consider how anemic the Titans were on both sides of the ball in their first preseason game. The Falcons at least held their own on defense in a 17-10 loss to Detroit, and with their starters expected to see some action on offense we think the home underdog can bark.

We really like the favorite in this matchup. The line looks mispriced, and we're seizing the opportunity. Miami’s anemic rushing attack was a major issue last season, and they've done little to address the glaring weakness. With preseason games typically favoring teams that can run the ball and play stout defense, we're confident in the Bears.

We really like the underdog  in this matchup. The line looks mispriced when you consider that Baltimore's coach John Harbaugh is 45-16 in his NFL preseason career. While his preseason record isn't a secret anymore, we still think the market are mispricing the Ravens.

We really like the over in this matchup. The line looks mispriced when you consider how bad the Chargers were on defense last season, and even though both teams figure to be careful with their starters here, we think we think both teams will put a fair amount of points on the board.

(Colts -6½) — We like the favorite in this matchup. The line seems off when you consider Bengals head coach Zac Taylor's 3-11 recod in the preseason and how the Bengals have announced that they'll rest their starters while the Colts confirmed on Tuesday that we'll see their starters for about a quarter and a half. 

This is a 5% play on the Colts on the spread.

(Ravens -110) — We love the Ravens in this matchup. The price seems off when you consider the Ravens' 44-15 preseason record under John Harbaugh, and how he will be eager to secure a preseason win after dropping three straight exhibition games.

(Eagles +2½) — We love the underdog in this matchup. The line seems off when you consider that the it has moved over five points from the opener, mainly on reports that the Pats will start their starting offense, including QB Jacoby Brissett, while the Eagles starting offense will have the night off. However, the Eagles are likely to give their defense plenty of time on the field as new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is implementing a new system, and we think that gives the Eagles a decent edge.

(Cowboys-4) — We really like the Cowboys in this matchup. The price seems off when you consider how little emphasis Sean McVay tend to put on winning in the preseason, coming into the season with a 7-14 preseason record.

(Browns -5½) — We really like the Browns ub this matchup. The price seems off when you consider that Matt LaFleur is 5-8 straight up and against the spread as head coach of the Packers in the preseason. Kevin Stefanski is 5-4 straight up and 5-3-1 ATS as head coach of the Browns in the preseason

Miami had to outscore Atlanta 21-8 in the 4th quarter to pull out their 34-27 win and last week beat a punchless Jacksonville 22-7. Both wins were at home while they have lost their last 5 straight on the road and have been held to 22 points or less in 5 of their last 6 games. The Saints have won their last 2 games while the defense held both opponents to 17 points or less. Miami is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games while the favorite is 4-1 in their last 5 meetings.

In Philadelphia's 2 losses they scored 15 points or less and in their win scored 24 against the 2nd worst scoring defense from last season the Bucs who averaged allowing 29 points a game. They had have been held to 15 points or less in 2 of their 3 preseason games while in the 3rd scored 24 against Tampa who had the 2nd worst scoring defense last year allowing 29 a game. They've been outscored in their 2 loses 53-25. NY is 1-2 but the Saints needed 12 unanswered 4th quarter points to seal the game in 1 of the losses. They were beaten last week by the Giants as they were held to 7 points in a close game. Look for the home field to help with the win.

    PACKERS @ RAIDERS

The Raiders are getting a lot of negative press due to the Antonio Brown situation, but so far what they have done on the field has been quite impressive. The young talent on defense was on display in last week's win over Arizona. John Gruden is likely to be far more aggressive than his counterpart here in this Week 3 matchup. The Raiders look good getting points.

                                                JAGUARS @ DOLPHINS

The Jaguars who had the 2nd worst offense in the league averaged 15 points a game are continuing to have problems on offense. They are 0-2 with a combined 52-10 loss in both games. They managed just 8 first downs and only112 yards in total offense against Baltimore. Miami lost their 1st game 16-14 to Tampa before coming back with a 34-27 win over the Falcons at home wher the loss was on the road. This is a tough place for the Jaguars to pull out a win.

            DALLAS @ LA RAMS

Jason Garrett didn't let any of his starters see the field in Week 1, and we expect him to be very conservative again in Week 2 in Hawaii. The same can be said of Sean McVay, who has a similar philosphy when it comes to pre-season games. The location here is also key, as neither team is under any pressure to perform well at home. We should see the backups for both teams going through the motions in a pretty boring display of pre-season football.

Chicago showed signs of a good team last year but lost their last 2 games scoring 15 points or less in both games. They play the Giants who won their game last week 31-22 over the Jets. The Giants averaged over 23 points and over 350 yards a game. There is a lot of rumor about Manning's demise and there should be some good competition at QB which should make NY dangerous to play.Their defense should be enough to shut down the Bears team that was ranked 21st last year in offense.

                                                         BILLS @ PANTHERS

Buffalo is coming off a season where their offense picked it up a notch and their defense started to give way. They were just 2-6 in road games losing their last 2 of the season. they beat Indy 24-16 blast week but now they face Carolina on the road where they were 5-3 last season while winning their last 2 games. They beat the Bears 23-13 last week on the road and have the home field advantage today.

The Eagles were down by just 4 heading into the 4th quarter in last week's 27-10 loss to Tennessee. Jacksonville has had a lot of trouble with their offense as they were shut out 29-0 last week and averaged just 15.3 points a game which was 31st in the NFL. The Eagle offense won't be under much pressues to score points just to catch up and with their tough defense should be abe to hold a lead.
