Florida was off to a good start, but they have lost back-to-back games against Missouri and South Carolina at home last week. Texas lost their first game of the season last week on the road against Oklahoma. That game followed a road game in Tennessee the previous week. Florida has the 13th ranked offense, but they scored less than 20 points in both of those losses. Texas has a very good defense and the Gators have the 110th ranked defense. Take Texas.

No. 4 Ohio State is a small road favorite against No. 5 Indiana. The Buckeyes have won four straight games since losing on the road against Texas by one point. Indiana is 6-0 after a comeback win in Nebraska last week. Indiana has won their last 22 games and they are getting points at home. Take Indiana.

Both teams lost their last game against Arizona. Cincy is 4-1 They have had an extra week to prepare for this game. West Virginia is 3-3 after three straight losses. Cincy is averaging 33.8 points scored per game. They should be able to have success putting up points against West Virginia’s 106th ranked defense that is allowing 32.7 points per contest. Take Cincy. 

MSU is off to a 2-4 start. They played well in a close home loss against Illinois last week. MSU’s QB Alessio Milivojevic played well last week against Illinois. The redshirt freshman completed 84.6 percent of his passes. If Milivojevic can continue to play well, MSU should be competitive at home. Take Michigan State.

Both teams are off to 3-2 starts. Seattle has struggled at times this season. The loss of running back Kenneth Walker and not having running back Zach Charbonnet has been an issue. Seattle is ranked 21st in yards per attempt. The Seahawks defense has allowed at least 23 points in their last three games. This will be Denver’s head coach Shawn Payton’s second game back calling offensive plays. The Broncos scored 23 points in a win last week in his first game back calling plays. The Broncos should have the advantage playing at home and Seattle played a tough game against the 49ers last week. Take Denver.

East Carolina has won their last three games. Both teams struggle offensively. Both teams rely on the run. UAB runs the football 62% of the time. They will face an ECU defense that allows just 3.7 yards per run. ECU should be able to have success against UAB ‘s rushing offense. Take East Carolina.

Buffalo is coming off a home win against Florida and a good effort in a shootout loss in Montreal in their last game. The Sabres face a Toronto team that was 1-1-1 on their recent road western swing. This is a tough spot for Toronto. They have had just one day off since their last road game and they are dealing with a time change. Take Buffalo.

Although Tampa Bay’s Freddy Peralta has pitched well recently, Cleveland’s Parker Messick has better season stats. The Guardians are playing with confidence. Take Cleveland.

FIU is coming off two straight wins and they have the sixth ranked defense. They are allowing just 12.2 points per game. That should give them the advantage against JSU's 83rd ranked scoring offense. Take Florida International.  

Buffalo is coming off a home loss against New England. That was their first loss of the season. L.A. is 2-2 after a big comeback win on the road against Philly. The Rams have had a difficult schedule. They have played three road games. The Bills have had a much easier schedule. They have played their last three games at home and they have not played a team that currently has a winning record. Two of the Bills wins have come against 0-4 teams. Buffalo’s new 3-4 defense has been an issue. They are ranked 25th in points allowed per game and 27th in passing yards allowed. Look for the Rams offense to have success moving the football. Take the Rams.  

The Ravens will not have their starting QB Lamar Jackson in their lineup. Veteran Tyler Huntley will get the start. Huntley has had some good moments during his career, but he has a 7-9 record as a starter. The Falcons have had the best offense in the league over the last two weeks and they have the No. 1 rush defense. Take Atlanta.

Tarik Skubal will get the start for the Dodgers. He is 5-2 with a 2.61 ERA since being traded from Detroit. L.A. has one of the best offenses in the league and a lot of playoff experience. Take the Dodgers.

Seattle bounced back with a home win against the Chargers after losing their only game of the season on the road against Washington the previous week. San Francisco is 4-0 after a home win against Denver. The 49ers have a number of injuries to key players and they lead the league in missed games due to injuries this season. This is a tough spot for the 49ers. They are playing one of the best teams in the league on the road and they are missing a number of key players. Take Seattle.

Detroit is off to a 2-2 start but they have not looked good this season. They are coming off a road loss against Carolina. The Cards are 1-3 after losing their last three games. Arizona’s starting QB Jacoby Brissett does not have a good winning percentage as a starting QB. The 33-year-old veteran has a 21-48 record as a starter. Detroit has struggled defensively this season, but so have the Cards. Look for Detroit to get past Arizona. Take Detroit.

The Packers are off to a 2-2 start. They are coming off a big road win against the Bucs last week. Chicago will not have their starting quarterback Caleb Williams in their lineup. This is a big home game for Green Bay. A win over their rival would put them one game above 500 and in a tie with Chicago in the standings. The Packers should have momentum coming off that win against Tampa Bay. Take Green Bay.

Both teams are 0-4. The Titans were competitive in two road losses against the Giants and Ravens the last two weeks. Surprisingly, Tennessee has been better defensively than Houston. The Titans have struggled offensively. If they can find a way to improve offensively they should be able to keep this game close. Take Tennessee.

Miami has played better the last two weeks. They almost covered the spread two weeks ago at home against Kansas City and they were able to cover the number on the road last week against Minny. Cincy was off to a 2-0 start, but they are coming off two straight losses against the Steelers and Jags. Miami did not have a sack in their first three games. They were able to sack Minny’s QB Kyler Murray four times last week. The Dolphins are allowing just 3.6 yards per rush. Offense has been an issue for Miami. If they can find a way to score points, they should be competitive at home against an inconsistent Bengals team. Take Miami. 

The Browns are off to a 3-1 and 3-1 ATS start. They have won their last three games with their last two wins coming at home against Carolina and Pittsburgh. The Jets have lost their last three games. All three losses came against teams that made the playoffs last season. New York has the 11th ranked defense. The problem has been their offense. They are ranked 25th in points scored per game. The Browns have won their three games by a total of just 10 points combined. Take the Jets.

New York has won their last two games despite not having starting QB Jaxon Dart in their lineup. Both of those wins came at home against weak teams. New York lost their only road game this season by 22 points against the Rams. Washington upset Seattle at home two weeks ago and they are expected to have QB Jayden Daniels back in their lineup. Take Washington.

No. 2 Georgia will make the trek to meet No. 4 Alabama in a matchup of undefeated teams. Both teams are 5-0 and 4-1 ATS. Alabama’s offense has been dominant. They have scored at least 45 points in all of their games this season. The Crimson Tide have the only win against a ranked team. They defeated Mississippi State on the road last week 56-23. The Bulldogs have been a better team overall the last number of years, but Alabama is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings. Take Alabama.

This is an important game for both teams. Calgary has won their last three games and two of those wins came on the road. Winnipeg is 1-3 in their last four games. Calgary is playing good football and are 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these teams. Take Calgary.

Oklahoma is 2-2 after a blowout loss in Georgia two weeks ago. The Sooners have lost both of their games against ranked teams. Texas will be on the road for their second straight game. They are coming off a close win in Tennessee two weeks ago. Oklahoma has struggled offensively this season, but they are a good defensive team. Texas is the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, but they have not looked overly impressive. The Sooners need a win in order to get into the playoff conversation. Take Oklahoma.

Georgia Tech is 1-3. Two of those games were close losses and one of those losses came on the road by four points against ranked BYU. Take Georgia Tech.

Wake Forest is 4-1. These teams have had one common opponent. Both teams defeated Louisville by three points. Wake Forest QB Gio Lopez is having a good season, but NC State is ranked higher in points scored per game. The Wolfpack have won their last two games after getting off to a slow start. NC State QB CJ Bailey threw for a combined 626 yards and four touchdowns in those wins and NC State is 3-0 at home this season. Take NC State. 

Texas A&M is off to a 3-2 start. Both of their losses came against good teams. Missouri is 4-1 after a big home win against ranked Florida. The Aggies have been a winning program for many years and they are catching Missouri at the right time. Missouri is in a letdown situation after that win against Florida. Take Texas A&M.

Indiana has won 21 straight games. They are 1-4 ATS after covering the spread against Rutgers last week. Nebraska is 5-0 and 4-1 ATS. Both teams have had weak schedules. The Cornhuskers are off to a good start, but this is a big step up in class. Take Indiana.

Arizona is 4-1 after a blowout home win against Cincy last week. West Virginia is 3-2 after two straight losses against Oklahoma State and Iowa State. Arizona has the 11th best rushing defense in the FBS. They held Cincy’s running attack that was averaging 270 yards per game to just 74 yards rushing in that win last week. Arizona’s QB Noah Fifita, the schools career passing leader, will be making his 4oth consecutive start. He has thrown for 1,415 yards and 13 touchdowns this season. Fifita will face a West Virginia defense that ranks near the bottom of the Big 12 in almost every category. Take Arizona. 

Las Vegas is facing elimination after two straight losses in Golden State. The defending champions had won six straight games against Golden State before this series. The Aces have the No. 2 ranked offense and they have a lot of big game experience. Look for a good effort from Las Vegas playing at home. Take Las Vegas.

Both teams are 1-4 this season and 3-2 ATS. Both teams have had difficult schedules, but Utah State’s schedule has included three road games against Washington, Utah and Boise State. They were 2-1 ATS in those games. Utah State has had success running the football in their last two games. They averaged over five yards per carry. Utah State should be able to control the football against a weak WSU defense that is allowing 4.7 yards per carry. Take Utah State.  

Iowa is ranked 19th after losing their first game of the season at home against Ohio State. The Hawkeyes are a small road underdog against a Washington team that is coming off two close losses against Minny and USC last week. Iowa’s starting QB Hank Brown is questionable for this game. Junior Jeremy Hecklinski is expected to get the start. Hecklinski has thrown a total of 20 passes during his college career. This is a tough spot for the Hawkeyes. They are coming off an emotional loss at home against Ohio State and they will be playing without their starting QB in a hostile environment. Take Washington.

Atlanta have won nine straight games. They are coming off two straight wins at home against New York. Atlanta found a way to win Game 2 without Allisha Gray. Atlanta has won and they covered the last four meetings between these teams this season. Take Atlanta.

It has been a tough start for Tampa Bay. Rookie Jalon Daniels will make his second start for the Bucs. Dallas has been very good offensively again this season, but they are struggling defensively. Tampa Bay will probably try to control the football on the ground in this game. The Bucs have the 10th ranked rushing offense. They are averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Dallas’ 27th ranked rushing defense is allowing 4.8 yards per rush. If Tampa Bay can have success running the football and if Tampa Bay’s head coach Todd Bowles can find a way to slow down Dallas’ offense, the Bucs should be able to keep this game close. Take Tampa Bay. 

Cleveland is coming off a big win in Game 3. Parker Messick will get the start for the Guardians. Messick is 12-9 with a 2.56 ERA and he had a better ERA on the road than at home. Chicago is expected to go with an opener for the second straight game. Cleveland has a lot of big game and playoff experience. That should give them the advantage against a young Chicago team. Take Cleveland.

Gloden State will try to make it two straight wins against Las Vegas. Their win in Game 1 of this series ended the Ace’s six game winning streak against Golden State. Golden State’s No. 1 ranked defense was able to hold Las Vegas to just 60 points in Game 1. Golden State 20-5 at home this season. Take Golden State.

Both teams are scheduled to use an opener in this game. Cleveland struggled offensively in the first two games of this series. Despite being down in this series, Cleveland has recent playoff experience. They have made the playoff the last three seasons. Cleveland was seven games above 500 on the road this season and their team pitching stats were a little better than Chicago’s. Cleveland’s playoff experience should help them in this game. Take Cleveland. 

This is a big game for both teams. Both are 1-2 heading into this game. The Falcons are coming off a win against the Packers. That was QB Michael Penix’s first start of the season. Penix completed 72% of his passes and he had a 101.4 QB rating. New Orleans is coming off a loss in their first home game of the season against the Raiders. Atlanta has the No. 1 ranked rushing defense. They are allowing just 47.7 yards per game. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson is averaging 5.3 yards per carry. He rushed for 194 yards in that win against the Packers. Atlanta should be able to move the football against the Saints 27th ranked defense. Take Atlanta. 

Both starters have pitched well recently. New York’s Cam Schlittler has not allowed more than one earned run in any of his last 10 starts and Tampa Bay’s starter Freddy Peralta has not allowed more than one earned run in his last six games. The Rays won 98 games this season for a reason and they are 56-26 at home. Take Tampa Bay.

Detroit is 2-1 this season, but they have not played well. Both of their wins were close games at home against average teams and they did not play well in a road loss against the Bills. Carolina has been inconsistent this season. They are coming off a road loss in Cleveland. Both teams have very good offensive teams and both have struggled defensively. Look for the Lions to get on track against a Panthers team that struggles defensively. Take Detroit.

Atlanta is 9-1 in their last 10 games. They won the last two games between these teams in September. Atlanta is a very good defensive team. Take Atlanta.

Both teams are off to poor starts. The Packers were handled easily in their last game at home against Atlanta, while the Bucs are 0-3 this season and they will not have their starting QB Baker Mayfield in their lineup. Tampa Bay will turn to undrafted QB Jalon Daniels. The Packers have had a few extra days to prepare for this game and Daniels was not good enough to be drafted. Take Green Bay.

Arizona is coming off a good effort on the road against the 49ers last week. New York were able to get past Tennessee at home last week despite not having starting QB Jaxon Dart in their lineup. Giants starting QB Jameis Winston struggled in that win against the Titans. He was 14-22 for 118 yards. Arizona is a much better offensive team. Look for the Cards to get past the Giants. Take Arizona.

Both teams are coming off road losses. The Rams played well in a loss in Denver, while Philly struggled in their loss against The Bears. Both teams are dealing with injuries to key players. Philly will not have wide receivers Devante Smith and Hollywood Brown in their lineup and tight end Dallas Goedert will not be available. The Eagles are ranked 25th in points scored per game. Injuries to key receivers will add to their offensive problems. Take the Rams.

Both teams are 1-2 after wins last week. Marcus Mariota will make his second straight start for the Commanders. The Colts are much healthier than Washington heading into this game. Indy has had a tough schedule. They are a much better team offensively than Washington, especially with Mariota getting the start. Take Indy.

Both teams are coming off their first loss of the season. Despite trying, USC has still not been able to improve their defense. They are ranked 99th in points allowed per game. The Huskies have won the last three games between these teams. USC lost last week against Oregon. They are 3-1 on the season. All three wins came against weak teams. Take Washington.

Utah State is coming off their first win of the season against Troy. Boise State is 3-1 after wins against South Dakota and Western Michigan. Utah State has played against Washington and Utah State. They lost by just two points against Washington as a 28.5-point underdog. Boise State has been a good program for a long time, but they are an average team this season. Take Utah State.

It has not been a good start for TCU. They are 0-2 against good teams. They will get a chance for a signature win at home against No. 10 BYU. The Cougars are 3-0. Two of those wins came against weak teams. This is BYU’s second straight game on the road.  Take TCU. 

Tampa Bay’s starter Drew Rasmussen has Cy Young award numbers this season. He is 16-5 with a 2.67 ERA. Rasmussen has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last six seasons. He has had an ERA under three in all of those seasons. Rasmussen held the Yankees to just one run in 6.2 innings in his last start. Take Tampa Bay.

This is a big home game for FSU. They had a lead against Alabama two weeks ago before losing that game by 14 points. The Seminoles bounced back with a win last week against Central Arkansas. FSU’s head coach Mike Norvell is on the hot seat. He should have his team ready for this game playing at home. Take FSU.

If it wasn’t for a close home loss against Florida, Auburn would be 4-0. They head to Tennessee to meet a Vols team that lost a close game at home against Texas last week. This is a lot of points for a Tennessee team against a rival that is having a good season. Take Auburn.

California is 2-2 this season. Both of their losses came against big programs. Despite playing a soft schedule, UNLV is 2-2.  The Bears have a quality QB and UNLV has not played the same quality teams. Take California.

MSU is coming off two straight losses against quality teams. They will head to Wisconsin as a big road underdog. Wisconsin is coming off a big comeback home win against Penn State. This should be a close low scoring game. Take Michigan State.

Iowa State is 2-2 after a home loss against. Both of their losses came against good teams. West Virginia is coming off their first loss of the season. Iowa State is allowing just 16 points per game. Take Iowa State.

Penn State will try to bounce back from a home loss against Wisconsin. They will face a Northwestern team that played well in a close loss in Indiana last week. Penn State’s starting QB Rocco Becht has a lot of experience, but he struggled against Wisconsin last week.  Penn State has better offensive and defensive stats. Look for a better effort from Becht. Take Penn State.

Indy is coming off a 10-point home win in Game 2 of this series. Las Vegas had won eight straight games before that loss. Las Vegas are the defending champions and they have a lot of big game experience. Take Las Vegas.

Both teams are coming off big home wins. The Steelers Aaron Rogers is coming off a good game at home against Cincy. Cleveland is coming off a home win against Carolina. Rogers was 19 of 34 for 292 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception in that win. Pittsburgh is ranked 11th in points allowed per game. Cleveland scored just 21 points last week against a Panthers defense that is ranked 26th in points allowed per game. Look for the Browns to struggle offensively. Take Pittsburgh.

Philly is coming off a big comeback win. Veteran Aaron Nola will get the start for the Phillies. He was pitching well before struggling in his last two starts. Atlanta will start an opener in this game. Atlanta has not won a playoff series since 2021 and all of the pressure will be on the Braves playing at home. Take Philly.

Although Washington is coming off a loss in the opening game of this series they played good basketball toward the end of the regular season. The Mystic were 6-1 over their last seven games. Washington won both games that they played against Atlanta at home this season and they had an 11-point lead early in game one. Look for the Mystic to be competitive at home. Take Washington.

The Phillies will send Christopher Sanchez to the mound in game two of this series. Sanchez is 18-7 with a 2.91 ERA this season. Sanchez was off to a good start this season, but he struggled in September. Atlanta’s Tyler Mahle has pitched well since being acquired from the Giants. Mahle is 4-1 with a 1.99 ERA in nine starts with the Braves. Mahle had two good starts against the Phillies earlier this month and the Phillies have struggled recently. Take Atlanta.

The Rams have had a tough schedule. They played in Australia in their first game of the season, played at home last week on the west coast and now they have to travel to Denver to meet a good Broncos team. Denver is 1-1 after a big home win against the Jags last week. Denver defeated a good Jags team last week and they are playing at home. Take Denver.

Arizona is 1-1 after a home loss against Seattle. Their win came in week one on the road against the Chargers. Arizona has covered in three of the last four games between these teams. The 49ers are dealing with a number of injuries to key players. Wide receiver Mike Evans is questionable and wide receiver Damarcus Robinson will not play. Defensive linemen Nick Bosa, Romello Height and James Thompson Jr. will also be sidelined. Look for the Cards to keep this game close. Take Arizona.

Minnesota is off to a 2-0 start. They are coming off a big road win against the Bears. Tampa Bay is 0-2 after a home loss against the Browns. The Vikings were very good defensively last week against a very good Chicago offense. Take Minnesota.

The Aces have had a great season and they have a lot of experience in big games. Take Las Vegas.

The Browns should have momentum coming off a road win against Tampa Bay last week. Take Cleveland.

Cincy has played good football in their first two games. They are a small road favourite against a Steelers team that is 1-1 after a road loss against New England last week. This is a rivalry game and the Steelers are 4-2 in the last six meetings. Take Pittsburgh.

Minnesota is off to a 2-1 start. Their only setback was a blowout loss at home against No. 21 Mississippi State. Washington is 3-0. Two of those wins were against rival Washington State and Utah State. The Huskies were ranked 16th in the preseason polls. They have dropped out of the rankings because of closer wins than expected in their first three games. This is a very good Washington team that will face a Minnesota team that struggled at home in their only game against a quality team. A win by Washington would move them to 4-0 this season and a chance of being in the rankings again next week. Take Washington.

Neither team has played good football this season. Stanford had trouble scoring points in their last two games after they put up 37 points in their opening game win at home against Hawaii. Stanford's Micah Ford has rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns. The Yellow Jackets are ranked 132nd nationally in rushing defense. Ford’s rushing ability and Ga Tech’s issues against the run should allow Stanford to be competitive at home. Take Stanford.

Matt Rhule has Nebraska off to an impressive 3-0 start. Rhule, who had success at Baylor, is in his fourth season as the head coach of the Cornhuskers. Although they have played weak teams, Nebraska has outscored their opponents 139-25. MSU is 2-1 after covering the spread on the road last week against ranked Notre Dame. Ruhle seems to have his team on track, while MSU should be in for a letdown after that loss against Notre Dame. Take Nebraska. 

A pair of 3-0 teams will match up at The Big House. Iowa has rolled in two of their three wins with both of those wins coming against weak programs. Michigan has a signature win against Oklahoma. Iowa has a good defense again this season, but they scored just 16 points at home against Iowa State two weeks ago. Offensive production in big games has been an issue for the Hawkeyes over the last few years and Michigan’s sophomore QB Bryce Underwood has completed 62.5% of his passes. Take Michigan.

Florida’s head coach Jon Sumrall built a successful program at Tulane before becoming the head coach at Florida late last year. The Gators are coming off a big road win against Auburn last week. They put up 44 points against the Tigers and they have scored 162 points combined in their three wins this season. This is a statement game for the Gators and they may be catching Ole Miss at the right time. The Rebels are coming off an emotional home win last week against LSU. The Swamp should be rocking for this game. That should give the Gators the advantage. Take Florida.     

Both teams are 2-1 after wins in their last three games. Clemson is coming off a big comeback win and cover at home against UNC. Clemson’s freshman QB Tait Reynolds is coming off a good game in his first start. Reynolds was 20-of-29 passing for 215 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Tigers have played a tougher schedule and they should have momentum coming off that win against UNC. Take Clemson.

Toronto has won their last three games and they are 6-2 over their last eight contests. Winnipeg has played inconsistent football recently. They are 3-4 over their last seven games. Winnipeg will not have their starting QB Zach Collaros in their lineup. The Argos are ranked No. 2 in points scored per game and Winnipeg is not the same offensive team without Collaros in their lineup. Take Toronto.

Atlanta will have Michael Penix Jr. as their starting QB for this game. The Falcons will face a Packers team that is 1-1 after a comeback win on the road against the Jets last week. Green Bay is 1-1, but they did not look good in either game. The Packers have struggled defensively since Micah Parsons was injured last season and they are ranked 25th in points allowed per game this season. Michael Penix Jr. played in nine games last season. He completes 60.1 percent of his passes. Penix should be an upgrade over last week’s starting QB Copper Rush. Take Atlanta.

Coastal Carolina is coming off a road loss against Delaware last week. They started their season with a competitive road loss against West Virginia and a home win against Fordham before losing last week. Liberty is 2 -1 after a win against Ball State last week. That win followed a one-point home win against a weak Gardiner Webb team as a 29.5-point favourite. We did not learn a lot about Liberty in that win against Ball State because Ball State is one of the weakest teams in NCAAF. Coastal Carolina has a good offense. If they can find a way to slow down Liberty’s offense, they should be competitive in this game. Take Coastal Carolina.  

The Giants are coming off a win against the Twins in the opening game of this series. They will face a Minny team that is 13 games below 500 on the road. San Francisco has just 65 wins, but they are just two games below 500 at home. San Francisco’s starting pitcher Anthony Molina has had four good games in five appearances since being traded from the Braves. He is 3-1 with a 3.91 ERA. Take the Giants.

The Giants are coming off a big win at home in John Harbaugh’s first game as head coach. The Rams lost their opening game against the 49ers in Australia. The good news for the Rams is that they have had a few extra days to prepare for this game. New York has a number of injuries to key defensive players and L.A. will not be happy with that loss in their opener. Take the Rams.

Atlanta is one of the hottest teams in the league. They are 8-2 and 7-3 over their last 10 games. New York returns home after two straight wins and covers against Minny and Toronto yesterday. Atlanta has a better offensive and defensive scoring stats and they should have the advantage because New York played on the road yesterday. Take Atlanta.

Indy is coming off a blowout home loss against Baltimore last week. They are a big road underdog in this game against a Chiefs team that played well in a division win against the Broncos at home in their first game of the season. Kansas City has a number of injuries to key players. Look for a letdown from the Chiefs coming off that win against Denver. Take Indy.  

Arizona is coming off a win against New York last night. Arizona starter Corbin Burns will make his third start of the season. He did not allow a run in three innings in his first start, but he allowed five runs in 4.2 innings in his last start. Burns has been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the last number of years. Look for a better effort from Burns in this game. Take Arizona.

The Raiders are coming off a home win last week against Miami, while the Chargers were upset at home as a 9.5 favourite by the Cards. Last week’s game was the first game that the Chargers had Mike McDaniels as their offensive coordinator. The Chargers have won the last four games between these teams and McDaniels and starting QB Justin Herbert should be able to have success against a Raiders team that was ranked 25th in points allowed last season. The Browns were blown out last week by a good Jacksonville team. QB DeShaun Watson saw his first action since he injured his Achilles tendon in January 2025. Watson had decent stats last week. He was 16 of 22 for 205 yards and one touchdown pass. Cleveland’s new head coach Todd Monken had success as the offensive coordinator in Baltimore for the previous three seasons. He should be able to have a game plan that will keep this game close. Take Cleveland.

L.A. should be competitive at home with Detmers getting the start. Take the Angels.

No. 7 ranked LSU is a small road favorite against No. 8 Ole Miss. LSU had won five straight games against Ole Miss before losing three of the last five meetings. LSU’s QB Sam Leavitt has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but he will play in this game. Leavitt will match up against dynamic Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss. Chambliss completed 88.5% of his passes against Charlotte last week. Ole Miss are at home and they are getting points. Take Ole Miss.   

Colorado is 2-0. Northwestern is 1-0 this season after a 34-18 win against San Diego State. The Wildcats have had two weeks to prepare for this game. Colorado barely got past a weak Ga Tech team in their first game of the season and their win last week came against Weber State who play in the Big Sky Conference. Playing at Northwestern will be a step up in class for Colorado. Take Northwestern.  

Washington is 5-1 in their last 10 games, while the Cards are struggling. Take Washington.

Houston's Hayden Wesneski has had some good starts recently and the Astros need a win. Take Houston.

Scott versus Painter and playing at home gives the New York the advantage. Take the Mets.

A big win last week and a close loss on the road against No. 8 Ole Miss in their first game of the season sets Louisville up for a good performance at home. Take Louisville.  

North Carolina is 2-0 this season. They are a small road underdog against a Clemson team that is 1-1 this season. Clemson freshman QB Tait Reynolds took over in the first quarter of last week’s game due to an injury to Christopher Vizzina. He will be the starting QB in this game for the Tigers. Although this is a different team under Bill Belichick UNC has lost the last seven meetings between these teams. Take Clemson.

New York’s Gerrit Cole has struggled recently. He has allowed nine runs in his last two starts. Cole will face Eduardo Rodriguez. Rodriguez is having a very good season. He is 15-6 with a 2.62 ERA. Rodriguez has allowed more than five runs once in his last 10 starts. This is an important game for Arizona. Take Arizona.

L.A. ‘s Grayson Rodriguez has had a number of good starts recently. He will face a Twins team that is 3-7 in their last 10 games and that is 31-44 on the road. Take the Angels.

This should be a good game between two ranked teams. Both teams are 2-0 and both have a win against Oregon State. Texas Tech has won the last seven games between these teams. The Red Raiders have played great football at home over the last three seasons. They are 16-3 at home. Tech’s starting QB Will Hammond has completed 76.7% of his passes this season. Take Texas Tech.

Detroit’s Andrew Sears has slightly better numbers than Chicago’s starter David Sandlin. The Tigers have been a better team than the White Sox recently. Take Detroit.

Miami is off to a good start. They head to Wake Forest as a big favourite. Wake Forest is 2-0 this season. One of those wins came on the road against Purdue last week. Both teams have good QBs. Wake Forest’s starting QB Gio Lopez is having a good season. Miami is missing three cornerbacks. That should allow Lopez to generate enough offense to cover the spread. Take Wake Forest.

Both teams are coming off close wins last week. Buffalo struggled defensively against an average Houston offense. They allowed 124 yards rushing and 398 total yards in that game. Buffalo has switched to a 3-4 defense this season. That can make them vulnerable against the run. Detroit’s star running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 156 yards against the Saints last week. He should be able to have success running the football against Buffalo’s 3-4 defense. Take Detroit.

The Tigers are 7-2 in their last nine games and they have won their last three series. They have a small chance of making the playoffs. Chicago is one of the teams that they are trying to catch. The White Sox are a young team and the pressure may be getting to them. They are 2-7 over their last nine contests. Pitching has been an issue in a number of games. The Tigers need to sweep this series. Take Detroit.

Boston's Patrick Sandoval has been inconsistent in his last five games and he allowed 10 hits in his last start. The Rangers are in the wild card race. Take Texas. 

The Chiefs usually tough to play against at home. Take Kansas City. 

The Twins will not have any pressure on them in this game and they have a chance to play spoiler. Take Minny. 

The Giants should be competitive at home with Webb getting the start. Take the Giants. 

Washington should be a better team this season with QB Jayden Daniels back in their line up. This should be a close game. Take Washington.
