11-21-21 | Bengals v. Raiders OVER 50.5 | 32-13 | Loss | -104 | 17 h 39 m | Show
The Cincinnati Bengals started the season 3-1 and then 5-2 to top the division. However, since then they are 0-2 S/U and ATS after losing to instate rival Cleveland last week, 16-41. The Bengals have the league's 14th ranked offense. Las Vegas Raiders also started the season strong at 3-0. Since then they are 2-4 and have to go through a lot of off-field issues that could have played part in their recent losses. They are coming off a home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, 14-41. They allowed a season high 422 passing yards to the Chiefs. The Raiders still have the 8th ranked offense overall, 28th rushing and 2nd passing. This looks to be a game fill with passing yards and points. I'll take the OVER today. |
11-21-21 | Ravens v. Bears UNDER 44 | 16-13 | Win | 100 | 14 h 35 m | Show
A few factors going on here in this game today from Solider Field in Chicago. The Baltimore Ravens could have a sick QB in Lamar Jackson. He's been battle some form of illness and then after participating in Wednesday and Thursday practices was pronounced ready to play. However, since then he's gotten worse and while he did make the trip with the team his status is up in the air. He's listed as probable, but I have to wonder if that will change before game time. Baltimore has the league's 2nd ranked offense thanks to Jackson and his contribution to a 2nd ranked rushing offense. The Bears have the league's 31st ranked offense, 5th rushing and last in passing. The other issue is the wind factor. Winds can be over 23 mph sustained here on Sunday and that will hurt passing attacks. With a ill Jackson and the wind, I am going to stick with the UNDER today. |
11-21-21 | Lions v. Browns UNDER 43 | 10-13 | Win | 100 | 14 h 34 m | Show
The Detroit Lions are still looking for that first win of the year at 0-8-1. They gave the Steelers all they could handle last week, but the teams came away with a 16-16 tie after no team scored in the OT. The offense wasn't good, at least passing where they got just 77 yards. The rushing game was excellent with 229 yards on the ground. The Lions have now gone under in six of their last seven games. The Cleveland Browns look to rebound from a poor performance last week at New England, 7-45. The offense was dismal with just 217 total yards. The weather has me concerned this week in Cleveland. There will be showers for most of the game with winds that could sustain up to 20 mph. Cleveland is notorious for bad weather games and I have to take this one under with the Lions involved. |
11-20-21 | Colorado State v. Hawaii UNDER 54.5 | 45-50 | Loss | -110 | 23 h 52 m | Show
Latest game of the board here on Saturday has Colorado State making the trip to the Islands to face Hawaii. Colorado State is just 3-7 S/U and 4-6 ATS on the season. They have averaged 22.9 ppg while allowing 23.7 ppg. The Rams have lost four straight games both S/U and ATS and are coming off a loss against the cross city rivals, Air Force, 21-35. The face a Hawaii Rainbow team that is 4-7 S/U and 3-7-1 S/U. The Rainbow Warriors average 26 ppg while allowing 31.7 ppg. They lost at UNLV last week, 13-27 as a 3.5-point favorite. Neither team going to a bowl game so this will have to do for CSU. I like the UNDER here tonight as neither team has much scoring ability. |
11-19-21 | Southern Miss v. Louisiana Tech OVER 48 | 35-19 | Win | 100 | 7 h 45 m | Show
Southern Miss will be glad to see the season come to an end in two more weeks. They are 1-9 S/U and 2-8 ATS on the season. They are coming off a loss at UTSA, 17-27 as a 33-point dog. That was just their second cover of the season. Southern Miss has the worst ranked offense in the country at just 246 total yards per game. La Tech won't make a bowl game this year, they are just 3-7 S/U with two games to got. They have gone over in their last two games with 74 and 90 point scored respectively. The Bulldogs have also gone over in six of their last seven home games. Two bad teams here tonight and I'll just look for this one to go over. |
11-18-21 | Patriots v. Falcons OVER 47 | 25-0 | Loss | -101 | 20 h 28 m | Show
The Patriots are hitting on both offensive and defensive cylinders of late. They won last week at home over Cleveland, 45-7 and the week before at Carolina, 24-6. The Patriots now have the league's 7th best defense overall and are tops in QB sacks this year (17). The Falcons had their worst offensive show of the season last week at Dallas in a 3-43 loss. They had just 214 total yards. The Patriots offense has been very balanced, with 140 or more yards rushing in each of the last four weeks and 211 or more yards passing in three of the four weeks. I look for the Patriots to control this game again and keep producing their high point totals. Take the OVER. |
11-14-21 | Vikings v. Chargers OVER 53 | 27-20 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 32 m | Show
The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a OT loss last week at Baltimore, 31-34. The Vikings looked to have that game in control but let Lamar Jackson get the Ravens back into the game in the 2nd half. Good news for the Vikings, it was their 2nd time in the last three games that the offense scored more than 30 points. They had 500 yards of offense against the Ravens. That moved the offense to 10th overall in the NFL. The Chargers went to Philly last week and came away with the win, 27-24. QB Herbet had 356 yards passing in the win. The Chargers have the 9th ranked offense, 5th passing and 20th rushing. The Chargers should get plenty of points today against a Vikings defense ranked 27th.I look for this game to go OVER today. |
11-14-21 | Falcons v. Cowboys OVER 54.5 | 3-43 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 26 m | Show
The Dallas Cowboys have the best overall offense in the NFL, ranked 3rd rushing and 4th passing. Last week that offense didn't click in their loss to the Broncos, 16-30. The Cowboys were never in that game, down 0-30. My feeling is the offense had just 290 yards because of Dak Prescot. Dak missed the prior week with that injury and he just was off a bit last week, likely due to some rust. But I fully expect to see Dak and the rest of the offense back at in full this week. They face an Atlanta team that is ranked 18th overall in defense. The Falcons won at New Orleans last week, 27-25, going over the 43-point line. It was the team's fourth over in their last five games. Look for Dak and the Cowboys to be hitting on all cylinders today and take the OVER. |
11-13-21 | Miami-FL v. Florida State OVER 61 | 28-31 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 32 m | Show
Miami and Florida State play for bragging rights in the state. Miami has won four straight games and scored 28 or more points in each game. They have also gone over in three of those four games. They are coming off a win over Georgia Tech, 33-30 as a 10.5 point favorite and just went under by a half point. Florida State has lost two straight games after last week's setback to NC State, 14-28. The team has gone over in two of their last three games. Neither team has a great defense and that will show here today. I'm taking OVER. |
11-08-21 | Bears v. Steelers UNDER 39 | 27-29 | Loss | -103 | 20 h 55 m | Show
The Chicago Bears have lost three games in a row, both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a loss at home to the 49ers, 22-33 as a 4.5-point dog. That was also the team's first over after six straight under games. The Bears offense ranks last in the NFL with only 264 yards per game. However, the rushing game is excellent, ranked 5th overall with an average of 137 yards per game. One huge problem for these Bears is that they allow the most sacks in the NFL (30). That is probably a good reason the passing game ranks last in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers have won three in a row. They are coming off a win last week at Cleveland, 15-10. The offense is not very good, ranked just 24th overall in the NFL. They have scored fewer than 20 points in four of their seven games. They are also 1-5-1 O/U on the season. The Bears have gone under in four of their last five road games. They are also 5-16 O/U in their last 21 road games vs a team with a winning home record. My play tonight is on the UNDER. |
11-07-21 | Chargers v. Eagles OVER 49 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 5 h 14 m | Show
Chargers looking to rebound from back-to-back losses. They lost to the Ravens three weeks ago, 6-34, had a bye week and then lost last week to the Patriots, 24-27. They just did get over the 50.5 point total last week. The offense is 12th in the league, 7th in passing. They take on a Philly team that is 18th in offense, though 6th in rushing. Philly is coming off their best offensive outing last week at Detroit, scoring 44 points and 236 yards rushing. I look for that to continue here today against this Chargers' defense. Play the OVER. |
11-07-21 | Vikings v. Ravens OVER 50 | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 13 h 39 m | Show
The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a loss to the Dallas Cowboys, 16-20. This loss came despite the Cowboys playing without QB Dak Prescott who was on the sidelines with an injury. The Minnesota offense still ranks good though, 7th overall in the league. The defense does have issues, ranked 20th overall. The 78 yards allowed to the Cowboys on the ground were the fewest they have allowed this season. In fact, every other team they have played have rushed for least 100 yards. The Baltimore Ravens also coming off a loss two weeks ago at home to Cincinnati, 17-41. They had last week off to stew over that home loss. The Ravens are the third best offense in the NFL, 3rd rushing and 9th passing. The last four meetings between these teams have all gone over. For me, I see two very good offenses with one of having a week rest. I'll take the OVER in what could be a shootout. Play over. |
11-07-21 | Browns v. Bengals OVER 47 | 41-16 | Win | 100 | 2 h 10 m | Show
Bitter rivalry here today between these Ohio teams as the Bengals host the Browns. The Bengals have been the surprise team this year with some big wins. They also are scoring a lot, over 30-points in their last three games. The offense is ranked 14th overall, 11th in passing. They play a Cleveland team that is ranked 10th in offense, 1st in rushing. QB Baker Mayfield has had some injury issues with his non-throwing shoulder, but he got through a full week of practice with no issues. This looks to be a great offensive clash this week. Play over. |
11-06-21 | Navy v. Notre Dame OVER 47.5 | 6-34 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 15 m | Show
Navy has had a bad season, going 2-6 this season. They have looked better of late, losing to highly ranked Cincinnati, 20-27 and then last week beating Tulsa on the road, 20-17 as a 11.5-point dog. The Navy offense ranks a poor 126th in the nation and they average just 59 yards passing. The defense is better, ranking 44th overall. They face a Notre Dame coming off a big win last week over North Carolina, 44-34 as a 3.5-point home favorite. They have won three straight since losing to Virginia Tech, 32-29. The defense is ranked 77th and the offense is ranked 74th. I see the Irish scoring plenty of points here today and that means that Navy will have to up their game too. Play the OVER. |
11-05-21 | Utah v. Stanford UNDER 53 | 52-7 | Loss | -116 | 10 h 1 m | Show
The Utah Utes are 5-3 S/U and 3-5 ATS on the season. The Utes have four more games to close out the regular season and with Stanford, Arizona and Colorado on the schedule they look poised for another Bowl Berth. The Utes are coming off a home win over UCLA, 44-24 after losing at Oregon State, 34-42. The defense is good, ranked at 58th overall. The offense is also decent, ranking at 54th. These teams haven't met since 2018 when Utah won at Stanford, 40-21. Stanford has struggled to a 3-5 record this season. They don't look to be bowl headed with Notre Dame, Cal, Oregon State and Utah on the schedule. They are coming off a loss at home to Washington, 13-20 as a 2.5-point favorite. They have now lost three straight games. The Cardinal have struggled in scoring of late and I don't see that changing tonight against a good defensive Utah team. Take the UNDER. |
11-04-21 | Jets v. Colts OVER 46 | 30-45 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
The New York Jets coming off a 34-31 upset win last week over the 11.5-point favorite Cincinnati Bengals. The Jets are now 2-5 on the season. The Jets are still not one of the better offenses, ranked 19th in passing and 32nd in rushing and 30th in scoring offense. The Colts started the season 0-3 and then won three of their next four games before losing in OT to Tennessee last week, 31-34. That snapped a four game spread win streak for the Colts. The offense has been improving each week as they now rank 16th overall with the defense coming in at 12th. The Colts defense is 2nd in the league in forcing turnovers. Even though Jets QB White threw for over 400 yards last week. The Colts offense has been good of late, scoring 30 or more points in each of their last three games and 25 or more in each of the last five games. The Jets haven't give up fewer than 24 points since week one. They have gone over in four straight games. These teams have also gone over in seven of their last 10 meetings. I look for points to be scored in bunches tonight. Play the OVER. |
11-01-21 | Giants v. Chiefs OVER 52 | Top | 17-20 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 33 m | Show |
The New York Giants hit the road today for this inter-conference clash at Kansas City. New York coming off it's best overall performance of the year in a 25-3 win over Carolina last week. Kansas City is coming off its worst performance yet in the Patrick Mahomes era, losing to Tennessee, 3-27. The Giants hope their 11-3 record vs the Chiefs will come into play again tonight as they are a double-digit dog in this one. The Giants started the season 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS. They have the 18th ranked offense and 20th ranked defense. The Chiefs have the 28th ranked defense and the third ranked offense. Patrick Mahomes was forced from last week's game with a head injury but will be starting tonight. The will be without RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire who is on IR with a knee injury. The Chiefs are 3-4 S/U and 2-5 ATS on the season. Yet, here they are laying 10.5 or even 11.5 points tonight. Yes, they have the ability to blow out the Giants. I'll just take the easy way out tonight and play the OVER. |
10-31-21 | Patriots v. Chargers OVER 49.5 | 27-24 | Win | 100 | 15 h 42 m | Show
The Patriots head out West for their game with the LA Chargers here on Sunday. The Patriots coming of their best offensive game of the season, although it was against the Jets, in a 54-13 final. They improved to 3-4 S/U and and ATS on the season. The offense improved a few spots to 15th overall and the defense is 12th. The Chargers had last week off after their worst offensive performance the week before in a rod loss to the Ravens, 6-34. They could muster just 208 total yards of offense in that loss. The setback dropped them to 4-2 S/U and ATS on the season. The defense is ranked 19th overall while the offense dropped to 8th after that performance two weeks ago. The Patriots have won and covered the last three meetings in this series, including last year's 45-0 win at LA. The Chargers running game has not been good as they have to rely on QB Justin Herbert most of the time. The Chargers should get back to their higher scoring ways today and with that I'll take the OVER. |
10-31-21 | 49ers v. Bears UNDER 40 | 33-22 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 39 m | Show
These are two teams that have had their share of offensive problems this year. The 49ers have scored more than 21 points just twice in their six games. They are 1-5 S/U and ATS. They do have the 6th ranked defense in the league this year. The Bears have the 11th ranked defense. Chicago is coming off a loss at Tampa Bay last week, 3-38. The Bears have scored just 17 points over their last two games. Chicago now has the NFL's worst offense, 7th rushing and 32nd passing. Two poor offenses and winds that can be up to 20 mph here on Sunday will look to a lower scoring game. Play UNDER. |
10-31-21 | Steelers v. Browns UNDER 43 | 15-10 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
The Cleveland Browns had to resort to backup QB Case Keenum last week as they just did get by Denver, 17-14. The Cleveland offense has just 31 points the last two weeks. It does look like Baker Mayfield will return this week, but how effective he will be is yet to be seen. Another issue will be weather with showers and winds that could gust over 20mph. I'm looking at this game under on Sunday. |
10-31-21 | Dolphins v. Bills UNDER 48.5 | 11-26 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
Not the best football weather here on Sunday in Buffalo. They are expecting winds between 13 and 20 mph and some rain during the games. Buffalo already possesses the best defense in the NFL, 1st against the pass and 6th vs the rush. They should have little problems keeping this Miami offense down today. Take the UNDER. |
10-25-21 | Saints v. Seahawks UNDER 42 | Top | 13-10 | Win | 100 | 20 h 2 m | Show |
There will be some key injuries on both sides of the ball here tonight, likely effecting the total as much as the side. The Saints will be without QB Taysom Hill, who will miss this game with a concussion. The Seahawks are once again without QB Russell Wilson who has that broken finger and has been put on IR. The are also without RB Chris Carson (neck), though RB Rashaad Penny looks to return tonight from the IR. The Saints had last week off to prepare for tonight's contest. They are coming off a win at Washington, 33-22. The Saints are now 3-2 S/U and ATS on the season. The Seattle offense is now ranked 22nd overall, 16th rushing and 21st passing. The Saints have the 28th ranked offense, 9th in rushing but 31st in passing. Both teams possess poor offenses and with Wilson out and Hill out, I expect less scoring opportunities. Play the UNDER. |
10-24-21 | Eagles v. Raiders OVER 48.5 | 22-33 | Win | 100 | 15 h 43 m | Show
The post Jon Gruden era began on a positive note last week for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders went to Denver and beat the Broncos, 34-24. They also did something they hadn't done all season under Gruden, scored a first quarter touchdown and a TD on their first drive of the game. The Raiders were also a +4 in the turnover game and sacked Teddy Bridgewater five times. Overall it was a very good day for Vegas. They will host the Philadelphia Eagles here today. The Eagles are coming off home loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs, 22-28, covering the 7-point dog line. They are now 2-4 S/U and 3-3 ATS on the season. The Las Vegas offense was ranked first in the NFL after three weeks, now has dropped to 10th overall, 30th in rushing and third in passing. Philadelphia is 20th in offense, 15th rushing and 22nd passing. Both teams possess excellent QB's and potent passing games. The defenses are mid-pack, nothing to brag much about. I like the way the Raiders have come out aggressive and finally scoring early. Look for both teams to get plenty of points here on Sunday. Play OVER. |
10-24-21 | Panthers v. Giants UNDER 42.5 | 3-25 | Win | 100 | 12 h 38 m | Show
Carolina hits the road this week after playing the last two weeks at home. The Panthers are coming off a pair of home losses, 18-21 to Philadelphia and then last week to the Vikings, 28-34. The Panthers continue to struggle on offense without the services of RB Christian McCaffrey who is out again this week with hamstring issue. Carolina ranks 17th in offense, 18th in rushing and 15th in passing. The Giants are now 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS on the season. They have lost four straight games including last week at home to the Rams, 11-38. The Giants have been missing key elements of the offense. RB Saquon Barkely will miss his second straight game with a ankle injurey. They are also hurting at WR with Kenny Golladay out and John Ross and Darius Slayton both questionable. The Giants offense ranks 16th overall, 25th in rushing and 10th in passing. Carolina does boast a very good defense, ranked 2nd in the NFL, 16th vs rush and 2nd vs pass. With the Giants poor rushing offense they will have issues passing against this very good Panthers defense. Play the UNDER. |
10-22-21 | Washington v. Arizona UNDER 45.5 | 21-16 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Washington Huskies lost their opening game of the season to FBC Montana Grizzlies, 7-13 and that was an omen to how this season has gone. Since then they are just 1-4 S/U and ATS on the season. Their only win coming against the worst defense in the country, Arkansas State, 52-3. Last week, they lost at home to UCLA, 17-24 as a 1-point favorite. The Huskies offense has been poor, ranked 96th on the season. The good news for Washington is that they play a team that has lost a school record 18-games and is coming off their worst game of the year, a 34-0 loss to Colorado. How bad has the Arizona offense been? In six games this season they have yet to crack 20 or more points. The offense is ranked 102nd in the FBS. Tonight we get two very bad offenses meeting. That means lets take the UNDER. |
10-21-21 | Broncos v. Browns UNDER 41 | Top | 14-17 | Win | 100 | 20 h 16 m | Show |
This AFC contest could come down to a battle of the backup QB's. Browns QB Mayfield is already ruled out for this game and Case Keenum is the starter. The Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater has both a quad and foot injury and while he's not listed as out, it could be a tough game for him to play. The Broncos opened the season with three wins, but have now lost three straight after last week's loss to Las Vegas, 24-34. The Browns are also 3-3 on the season after last week's loss at home to Arizona, 14-34. The offense managed just 290 total yards in the loss and had trouble protecting their QB's with five sacks allowed. The Broncos have been a good under team with five of their last seven road games going under. This is thanks to their 4th ranked defense. The Browns also have a very good defense, ranked 3rd overall. And this game looks to be a battle between these top rated units. Turnovers likely also key here today. I'll take the UNDER with QB issues on both sides. |
10-17-21 | Cardinals v. Browns UNDER 48.5 | 37-14 | Loss | -109 | 15 h 20 m | Show
The Arizona Cardinals are the last undefeated team in the NFL as they hit the road for their game at Cleveland on Sunday. Arizona is coming off its worst offensive effort of the season in their win last week at home over the 49ers, 17-10. They had scored at least 31 points in each of their previous four games. Always hard on the West teams when they have to travel East in the time difference. One issue today is a Covid outbreak that will have HC Kliff Kingsbury and LB Chandler Jones out for today. DC Vance Joseph and Assistant HC Jeff Rodgers will split the head coaching duties here on Sunday. Cleveland plays their next three games at home. The Browns are 4-1 S/U and 3-1 ATS after losing their first game of the season last week at the Chargers, 42-47. The 47 points by the Chargers were more then the last three Browns opponents scored combined (34 points). Another possible factor here could be the wind, as sustained winds could be from 13-17 Mph on Sunday. Lots of intangibles here to decode on Sunday. I'll take the UNDER on what could be a windy day for passers. Play UNDER the Total. |
10-17-21 | Chargers v. Ravens OVER 51 | 6-34 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 16 m | Show
Two of the best teams in the AFC meet here on Sunday has the Baltimore Orioles host the LA Chargers. The Chargers are 4-1 S/U and ATS on the season. They are coming off a huge 4th quarter last week that catapulted them to a win over Cleveland, 47-42. The offense is now ranked 7th overall, 17th rushing and 3rd passing behind Herbert. Baltimore is 4-1 S/U and 2-3 vs the number. They lost their opening game of the season at Las Vegas in OT and have won every game since. They are coming off a 31-25 home win over the Colts last week. Baltimore has the NFL's top rated offense, 4th rushing and 5th passing. The defense isn't as good in year's past, ranked just 25th overall, 7th vs rush and 29th vs pass. These two top offenses should put up plenty of points today. Play the OVER. |
10-17-21 | Rams v. Giants UNDER 49.5 | 38-11 | Win | 100 | 12 h 15 m | Show
The LA Rams are coming off a win at Seattle last week, 26-17. The team is now 4-1 S/U and 3-2 ATS on the season. The Rams rank 9th overall on offense, 23rd rushing and 2nd in passing. The defense was supposed to be the core of this team, however they are ranked just 23rd overall on the season. They are 19th vs the rush and 23rd vs the pass. The Giants are just 1-4 S/U and 2-3 ATS on the season. They are coming off a loss at Dallas last week, 20-44. The Giants have been once again hit by the injury bug. They include RB Saquon Barkley, QB Daniel Jones, WR Kadarius Jones and WF Sterling Shepard. Barkley and Golloday are both out for Sunday with the others all questionable. With so much offense on the sidelines or hurting, not sure how they will score against this Rams defense today. I'll just take the UNDER and hope they don't get blown out too badly. Play UNDER. |
10-15-21 | Marshall v. North Texas UNDER 67 | 49-21 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Marshall looks to snap a four game losing streak here tonight as they visit North Texas. The Thundering Herd opened the season with a pair of nice wins over Navy, 49-7 and then over NC Central, 44-10. Since that 2-0 start they have lost some tough games, including last week's setback to Old Dominion, 20-13, as a 21-point favorite. North Texas is also reeling, after an opening season win over Northwester State, 44-14, the Mean Green have lost four straight. They are coming off a loss last week at Missouri, 35-48 as a 19 point dog. North Texas has the 95th ranked defense while Marshall is 76th. Even though their record isn't good, Marshall has the 8th ranked offense in FBS with 515 yards per game and 358 passing yards per game. The are two teams having their respective issues. We also have a high total of 66 or 66 1/2 here today. I think that's a bit too high for two teams that are both looking for wins. Take the UNDER. |
10-12-21 | Appalachian State v. UL-Lafayette OVER 56.5 | 13-41 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Early Sun Belt action starts the college football week here on Tuesday evening as Appalachian State takes on UL Lafayette. App State has won eight of the last nine meetings between these teams. App State has one of the best offenses, ranked 16th nationally and averaging 35.2 ppg this year. They have a very balanced attack with 197 rushing yards per game and another 284 passing. The Mountaineers are coming off a win at Georgia State, 45-16. ULL lost their opening game to Texas, 18-38 and since then have won four straight games. They are coming off a win at South Alabama last week, 20-18, though they failed to cover the 13-point line. App State should get plenty of points here tonight. Lafayette will likely need to match them to stay in this one. Take the OVER. |
10-10-21 | Bills v. Chiefs OVER 56.5 | 38-20 | Win | 100 | 23 h 40 m | Show
This promises to be one of the best games for Sunday as the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. Buffalo is 3-1 S/U and ATS after last week's win at home over the Texans, 40-0. The Bills have scored 35 or more points in three of their four games this year. Their only blip was a 16-23 loss in the opening week's contest at Pittsburgh. Kansas City hasn't looked their normal selves all season, but we saw that magic last week as they came from behind at home to beat Philly, 42-30. The Chiefs are now 2-2 S/U and 1-3 vs the number. They are also 3-1 O/U on the year. This will be a matchup of top 6 offenses as Buffalo ranks 6th overall and KC is ranked 2nd overall. Buffalo's top ranked defense will be put to the test here today. Surprisingly, the Chiefs have the 31st ranked offense. Last season, the Chiefs won this game at home, 38-24 getting the cover and the over as a 3-point favorite. Chiefs about the same favorite here on Sunday night, around 3-points. I'm going to take the Bills in this one. They have too good of an offense against a poor Chiefs defense. I'm pretty sure Buffalo won't have the top ranked defense when this one is said and done. Both teams should get plenty of points in this one. Take the OVER. |
10-04-21 | Raiders v. Chargers OVER 51.5 | 14-28 | Loss | -100 | 23 h 19 m | Show
The Raiders are 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 1982 when they were the LA Raiders. This is thanks to the NFL's top ranked offense. The Raiders average 471 yards per game this year and have the top passing offense (380 ypg) and the 25th running offense. The rushing game will get back their top back in Josh Jacobs who has been battling a ankle and toe injury. Vegas has had to go to OT in two of their three games thus far, beating Miami last week at home in OT, 31-28. The opened the season with an OT win over Baltimore, 33-27 and then beat Pittsburgh on the road, 26-17. Now they travel to LA to take on the Chargers. The Chargers are 2-1 S/U and ATS after beating Kansas City on the road last week, 30-24. Their lone loss was at home to Dallas, 17-20. The Chargers have the league's 9th ranked offense and 4th ranked passing offense. The Raiders are 7-1 O/U in their last eight games overall. Two top 10 offenses here with both having middle of the pack defenses. I'll take the OVER. |
10-03-21 | Panthers v. Cowboys UNDER 51.5 | 28-36 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 9 m | Show
The Carolina Panthers are 3-0 S/U and ATS as they head to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. They are also 0-3 O/U. The Panthers have the NFL's top defense right now. They are first both against the pass and the rush, allowing just 191 yard average per game. They are also third in the league in interceptions (13) and top in QB sacks (14). Dallas is 2-1 after their impressive win at home last week over the Eagles, 41-21. The Dallas defense is ranked 26th in the NFL. It's the offense that shines, ranked 5th overall. Carolina's offense ranks 10th. This game will be the Carolina defense against the Cowboys offense. I will take the UNDER in this one today. |
10-03-21 | Lions v. Bears UNDER 42 | 14-24 | Win | 100 | 13 h 8 m | Show
The Detroit Lions are 0-3 as we enter week four action. They are coming off a close home loss to the Baltimore Ravens, 17-19. It took a NFL Record breaking field goal of 66 yards by Tucker to not only break the record but get the win for the Ravens as time ran out. Th Lions offense managed just 285 total yards. The Detroit offense ranks just 17th in the NFL (15th in both pass and rush. The Bears are 1-2 S/U and ATS after losing last week at home to Cleveland, 6-26. The Bears had a total of 47 yards, yes 47! The Bears started rookie QB Justin Fields who had a disastrous showing. The Bears defense was very good, sacking Baker Mayfield five times. Hard to believe, but the Bears netted just 1 passing yard last week after you take out the 67 yards in nine sacks. These are two pathetic offenses and I wouldn't bet either side. But I will take the UNDER today. |
10-02-21 | Arkansas v. Georgia UNDER 49 | 0-37 | Win | 100 | 15 h 48 m | Show
SEC Action here today has Arkansas taking on the Georgia Bulldogs. Arkansas is 4-0 on the season both S/U and ATS. Their defense has been great, allowing 10 points twice, 17 and 21 points. The defense ranks 12th nationally, allowing 267 yards per game. They are coming off a win over Texas A&M last week 20-10 as a 5.5-point dog. This will be their first road game of the season here today. Georgia is also 4-0 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the season. The Dogs have allowed a total of 20 points on the season and have the nation's top ranked defense with just 186 yards allowed per game. They also have yet to allow a red-zone touch down this year. This looks to be one of the best defensive battles this weekend with two top D's going head to head. I'm going to stick with the UNDER here as points will be at a premium Play UNDER. |
09-30-21 | Jaguars v. Bengals OVER 45.5 | 21-24 | Loss | -115 | 49 h 0 m | Show
Jacksonville is 0-3 both S/U and ATS after three games. They are coming off a loss at home to Arizona last week. They led Arizona at the half, but fell apart in the 2nd half. The defense has been bad, ranking 29th overall while the offense ranks 27th. They will face the 2-1 Bengals today. Cincinnati opened their season with a win over the Vikings, 27-24, then lost to Chicago, 17-20. Last week they beat Pittsburgh, 24-10. They won by 14 points despite being outgained 268-343 and allowing a whipping 29 more offensive plays. They also had just 12 fist downs to the Steelers 21. If you only looked at the stats, you would swear that the Steelers won this game 24-10. The Bengals have been a good over team. They are 5-0-1 in their last six as a favorite and 11-5-1 O/U in their last 17 vs the AFC. The way Jacksonville has allowed points this year, I'll take the OVER here on Thursday. Play OVER. |
09-26-21 | Bucs v. Rams OVER 55.5 | 24-34 | Win | 102 | 5 h 12 m | Show
Tampa Bay is off to a 2-0 S/U and 1-1 ATS start. They opened the season with a close win over Dallas, 31-29 and then won and covered last week vs Atlanta, 48-25. Tampa has the 13th ranked offense. The running game hasn't been much, ranked 30th as they average just 67 yards per game. Tom Brady has been hot though, with the passing game ranked 5th overall at 319 yards per game. The Rams have the 16th ranked offense, but Matthew Stafford has been good and has the passing attack ranked 7th overall. The Rams opened with a win over Chicago 34-14 and then last week beat the Colts on the road, 27-24. Both games have gone over. The Bucs are 21-6 O/Un in their last 27 games vs NFC opponents. They are 5-2 O/U in their last seven games. The Rams have gone over in their last four games. The last four meetings between these clubs have all gone over. I'll take the OVER here today. |
09-26-21 | Ravens v. Lions OVER 50 | 19-17 | Loss | -106 | 4 h 12 m | Show
Baltimore followed up their OT loss in Las Vegas week one with a exciting home win over the Chiefs last week, 36-35. They have now gone over in both games. Which is what I'm looking at today. The defense has been horrendous thus far, ranked 31st in the league. Their pass defense is the worst in the NFL. The Lions opened the season with a loss to the 49ers, 33-41. Last week they got beat at Green Bay, 17-35. Both games have gone over. The Ravens have seen six of their last eight road games go over. The Lions have seen 13 of their last 16 home games go over. This one looks to be another high scoring affair for both team. I'll take the OVER. |
09-26-21 | Bears v. Browns UNDER 45 | 6-26 | Win | 100 | 4 h 12 m | Show
The Chicago Bears are 1-1 S/U and ATS as they come into action here on week three. The beat the Bengals at home last week, 20-17. The offense was not good, passing for just 83 yards and rushing for 123 yards. The saving grace was their defense that held Cincinnati to just 248 total yards and had four take aways. The Browns followed their week one loss to the Chiefs with a win at home last week over Houston, 31-21. The Bears have the 8th ranked defense in the league, allowing 317 total yards per game. Their rushing defense is ranked 5th. The Browns are 14th with 350 yards per game allowed. The rush defense is 9th. Problem for the Bears is they have the 30th ranked offense and the 31st ranked passing offense. The Bears have seen their totals go under in 22 of the last 31 times they played on grass. They are also 6-13 O/U their last 19 times as a road dog. I don't see the Bears getting many points here today. Their defense is good enough to keep them close. Play UNDER. |
09-23-21 | Panthers v. Texans UNDER 43.5 | 24-9 | Win | 100 | 6 h 28 m | Show
The Houston Texans are down to their third string QB in Davis Mills. Mills came into last week's game after Tyrod Taylor was injured in the first half. He played ok, tallying just over 100 yards with a TD and an INT. Mills will be thrown to the wolves tonight as he faces a very good Carolina defense. Plus, the Texans aren't very exciting overall on offense, so I look for points to be hard to come by tonight. The Panthers have Darnold at QB and McCaffrey running and catching the ball. I'm no big fan of Darnolds, but he's got the job done so far for the Panthers who smothered the Saints last week. The Panthers only allowing 10.5 ppg thus far. I'll take the UNDER here tonight. |
09-19-21 | Raiders v. Steelers OVER 47 | 26-17 | Loss | -104 | 49 h 1 m | Show
Las Vegas played an exciting game last week as they came from behind to tie Baltimore and send the game into OT. Both teams had a chance and both teams turned the ball over, Vegas doing so on 1st and goal at the half yard line. But Vegas finally won an exciting game on a Carr TD pass to Jones for the win before almost 70,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium. However, the win didn't come without a price, the Raiders suffered injuries, especially on the offensive line where they are very thin heading into this week's game. Pittsburgh overcame a deficit to come back and win their game at Buffalo, 23-16. Their defense was once again very good when it needed to be. This week Vegas has to come down from their high and travel cross country to take on a very good Steelers team. The Vegas defense is improved, but they still give up points and that was evident last week. I look for both teams to get plenty of points here on Sunday. Take the OVER. |
09-11-21 | Missouri v. Kentucky UNDER 57 | 28-35 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 50 m | Show
Missouri opened 2021 play last week with a home win over Central Michigan, 34-24. The Kentucky Wildcats also opened with a win last week over La-Monroe, 45-10. Missour QB Connor Bazelak completed 65% of his passes with 257 yards and two TD'as last week. Kentucky looks to improve to 2-0 this season, something they have done four times in the last five years. QB Will Levis had a good week last week, completing 69% of his passes for 367 yards and four TD's. Missouri has historically been a good under team, going 8-21 in their last 29 overall games. Both teams pretty much had cake walks last week. So this will be the first big test for both clubs. I look for a close game and a low scoring game. Play the UNDER. |
09-06-21 | Louisville v. Ole Miss UNDER 75.5 | Top | 24-43 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show |
You couldn't find a more exciting match for the lone game here on this Labor Day Monday as Louisville visits Mercedes-Bens Stadium in Atlanta, GA to take on Ole Miss. Surprisingly, this is the first time these teams have ever met on the football field. Louisville is coming off a poor 4-7 campaign last season, though they do return a solid QB in Malik Cunningham who threw for 2,617 yards and 20 TD's last season. The ground game will miss the return of Javian Hawkins. This team averaged 5.2 yards per run last year. The question with the Cardinals is youth, they have one of the youngest teams in college football this year with 70 freshmen. Ole Miss has QB Matt Corral back this year to a team that broke the SEC record for total offense at 562 yards pr game average. Corral will have lots of experience back around him both in the backfield and at receivers. You would think over with these teams. However, the oddsmaker put up a whopping 75 point over/under and that's just too much in my opinion. Take the UNDER. |
09-02-21 | Ohio State v. Minnesota UNDER 63.5 | 45-31 | Loss | -113 | 19 h 40 m | Show
Ohio State and Minnesota open Big 10 play here on Thursday as the Buckeyes make their first trip to TCF Bank Stadium in seven years. The Buckeyes will re-load this year as QB C.J. Stroud makes his debut at the starting QB. The Gophers played only seven games in the shortened 2020 Covid season, finishing a disappointing 3-4. The Gophers had one of their worst defenses in recent memory last year. However, with the depth of talent on this year's roster, there is optimism for a much improved defense and season. With Ohio State having a core of QB's, none of which have thrown a pass in a college game, I look for this game to be lower scoring. Take the UNDER tonight. |
05-16-21 | Sam Houston State v. South Dakota State OVER 48.5 | 23-21 | Loss | -108 | 3 h 8 m | Show
It took a while but the FCS Championship game is here as South Dakota State takes on Sam Houston State for the Title. South Dakota State showed why they are so good offensively against one of the best defenses in Delaware last week, scoring 33 points in the 33-3 Win over the Jackrabbits. Sam Houston is 9-0 as they come into this game. The offense is their star also as they won a thriller against James Madison to get here, 38-35. I see this game as the battle of two very good offensive teams. Points should come in bunches here today and with that I'm taking the OVER. |
02-13-21 | McNeese State v. Tarleton State UNDER 51 | 40-37 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 13 m | Show
Just when you thought football was done we get a treat to some Spring football thanks to Division 1 FCS moving from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. They kick off their season here on Saturday with McNeese State at Tarleton State. Tarleton was a powerhouse in Division 2, but makes the move to Division 1 here this year. And, while they were a offensive powerhouse in Div 2, they have lost almost all their offensive talent to graduation, inclduing QB Ben Holmes who threw for 3,338 yards in 2019. They also replace their top rusher and top receiver. And now they have to face a very good defensive team in McNeese State. Plus, we will have weather to contend with. The weather is supposed to be around 25-degrees with a wind chill around 17 and 7-10 MPH winds. I'm going to take the UNDER here in this game as Tarleton will find it much tougher go in Division 1. Play UNDER. |
01-24-21 | Bills v. Chiefs UNDER 54.5 | 24-38 | Loss | -104 | 3 h 15 m | Show
Big question here in the AFC Championship game is the health of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Officially he's listed as probable and should start, but how healthy is he?? He has those foot and neck issues after leaving last week's game. Mahomes does a lot with his legs and he might be limited here today with all his injuries. There are also weather issues here today with rain likely. The Chiefs will try to hold QB Josh Allen down with deep zones here on Sunday. Normally I would look at this game over, but with Andy Reid looking to protect his QB and the the weather, I'm going to play this one UNDER. |
01-16-21 | Rams v. Packers UNDER 46 | 18-32 | Loss | -109 | 20 h 44 m | Show
Divisional Round of the playoffs here on Saturday as the 10-6 LA Rams take on the 13-3 Green Bay Packers from Lambeau field. Always have to check weather when dealing with Green Bay. It's going to be cold, likely below freezing during the game with light showers turning to snow later in the game with light winds. Never easy for West Coast teams to make the trip East, especially a warm weather team like the Rams playing in cold Green Bay. The Rams defense is the best in the league and it will be put to the test against likely the NFL MVP in Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense here today. The Rams playing with hobbled QB's. Jared Goff had to come back last week even with his surgically repaired thumb to replace injured QB John Wolford. Wolford is out this week so that means Goff again despite not being near 100%. No 1 offense of Green Bay vs No 1 defense of the Rams. The Rams will try and use their excellent corners against these high powered Packer receivers and take away what Rodgers looks for most. I don't believe the Rams will have what it takes on offense to get it done here today. Between the cold, damp weather, the long travel and a hurting QB, I don't expect a lot of scoring here. The Rams defense should keep it close but low scoring. Play the UNDER. |
01-11-21 | Ohio State v. Alabama OVER 74.5 | 24-52 | Win | 100 | 77 h 20 m | Show
The National Championship game pits No 3 Ohio State against No 1 Alabama. Ohio State got their revenge against Clemson for last year's loss with a resounding win this year in the semi finals, 49-28. And that came against a very good defensive Tigers' team. Alabama saw it's record setting 35-plus scoring streak come to an end last week at 24 games with tier 31-14 win over Notre Dame. Don't expect the Tide to be under that 35 point line this week. Alabama has Heisman winner in WR DeVonta Smith and Mac Jones at QB. Ohio State QB Justin Fields was injured in the Clemson game, but still had his career high in passing yards with 385 and six TD's. Fields will be starting here on Monday. Both these teams should be scoring almost every time they touch the ball. And, with that, I'll just enjoy the show with the OVER. |
01-10-21 | Ravens v. Titans OVER 54.5 | 20-13 | Loss | -104 | 51 h 51 m | Show
The Baltimore Ravens look to avenge their last loss to the Tennessee Titans back on Nov 22, losing in OT 24-30. Derrick Henry ran all over the Ravens in that contest, much like he has done to the entire NFL this season. Henry became just the 8th back in the NFL history that rushed for more than 2,000 yards after his 250 yard performance last week at Houston. The Ravens finished 11-5 on the season and winners of five games in a row. This game will be filled with rushing. Henry for the Titans and QB Lamar Jackson for the Ravens. Jacks rushed for 97 yards in their blowout win at Cincinnati last week. I like this game to have lots of offense in a repeat of their game on Nov 22. Play OVER. |
01-09-21 | Bucs v. Washington Football Team UNDER 44.5 | 31-23 | Loss | -105 | 34 h 1 m | Show
Tom Brady has led the Bucs back to the postseason for the first time since 2007. The Bucs will travel to DC to take on Washington here in the Wild Card round. The Bucs have the league's 3rd ranked scoring offense (30.8 ppg) and will face one of the best passing defenses in the league here this week. Washington started the season 2-7, but finished strong with a 5-2 record to take the NFC East. The defense is the backbone of this team, ranking 2nd in total yards allowed and 2nd in passing yards allowed. They were also 4th in points allowed. Washington has seen it's last nine games on grass all go under. They are also 3-8 O/U in their last 11 home games vs a team with a wining record. These teams have gone under in five of their last seven meetings and four of the last five in Washington. Washington needs to keep this score low if they hope for a win today. Take the UNDER. |
01-09-21 | Rams v. Seahawks UNDER 42.5 | 30-20 | Loss | -115 | 30 h 26 m | Show
The 10-6 LA Rams take on the 12-4 Seattle Seahawks from Seattle this Saturday in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. These teams split during the regular season. The Rams likely won't know their starting QB until shortly before kickoff. QB Jared Goff broke his finger against Seattle back on Dec 27 and had surgery the following day. John Wolford started against Arizona, helping the Rams clinch their playoff spot. Wolford was 22 of 38 passing for 231 yards and rushed for a team-high 56 yards. The Rams have a great defense, tops in the NFL in fewest points allowed, passing yards allowed, TD passes, 1st downs and total yards. They will rely on that defense here today to keep Seattle QB Russel Wilson in check, which isn't easy. The Hawks had to rally from 10 points down vs the 49ers to clinch the NFC West last week. The Rams are 0-4 O/U in their last four games thanks to their strong defense. The Seattle defense was much maligned during the 1st half of the season, at or near the bottom of the league. However, since then they have played much better. The have gone under in their last four home games as a favorite. They are also 1-7 O/U in their last eight overall games. These teams are 7-15 O/U in their last 22 meetings. I like this game to go UNDER. |
01-03-21 | Cardinals v. Rams UNDER 41.5 | 7-18 | Win | 100 | 21 h 16 m | Show
Both these clubs fighting for that last playoff spot as the Rams host the Cardinals. The losers season is over here. The Cardinals couldn't stop the Carolina run last week and it cost them dearly as they lost 12-20. For the highly ranked Arizona offense it was their worst offensive output of the season. And to make matters worse, QB Kyler Murray was injured on the last play of the game. He has said he will play here on Sunday. The Rams lost a chance to lock down a playoff spot last week in their loss to the division winning Seahawks, 9-20. LA also lost their QB as Jared Goff broke his thumb. The Rams will have to now turn to backup John Wolford. Wolford has never taken a NFL snap. With both QB's either out or hurting, I look for the defenses to take over here on Sunday. The Rams have a top defensive unit and they will need every bit of it to secure a playoff spot. For me, I'll just take the UNDER here on Sunday. |
12-27-20 | Rams v. Seahawks UNDER 47.5 | 9-20 | Win | 100 | 15 h 1 m | Show
These teams met back in November and that turned into more of a defensive struggle, with the Rams holding on for a 23-16 win. The Rams had 289 yards of offense and Seattle had 333 yards of offense. The Rams might have looked toward this game when they played at home to the Jets last week, give New York its first win of the season, 23-20. The 17-point favored Rams had 303 yards and one turnover in the loss. Seattle had just 302 yards in their win at Washington, having 23 fewer snaps on offense and allowing 51 more yards. Seattle has the 7th ranked offense, dropping in recent weeks. The Rams defense remains topped ranked in the NFL, 1st against the pass and 3rd vs the run. I look for another low scoring game here today. The Rams defense will keep this game lower scoring as Seattle will look to establish the run. Play UNDER. |
12-27-20 | Panthers v. Washington Football Team UNDER 41.5 | 20-13 | Win | 100 | 15 h 41 m | Show
The Carolina Panthers thought that RB Christian McCaffrey would return here today. However, latest reports have him downgraded to doubtful for today's game. McCaffrey has only played in three games all season, but still have six TD's. The Panthers are ranked 20th in the NFL in total offense, 19th rushing and 16th passing. On the other side, it's possible QB Alex Smith will be back today after suffering a calf injury. Washington, as most NFC East teams, still in the hunt for the Division championship and that playoff berth. Right now it looks like Washington has the inside track. They are coming off a loss last week to Seattle, 15-20. Their excellent defense held Seattle's highly ranked offense to just 302 total yards. The problem isn't Washington's 4th ranked defense, it's their offense. Washington is ranked 28th in total offense, 22nd rushing, 25th passing. Today if Smith doesn't return, or even if he does, I see this as a low scoring game. McCaffrey might have given some hope for more offense, but now I see this as a dead under. That's the play, UNDER. |
12-24-20 | Hawaii v. Houston UNDER 60 | 28-14 | Win | 100 | 4 h 20 m | Show
The only game on the entire sporting slate today is the New Mexico Bowl. Well, sort of, as it's being played in Frisco, TX this year because of Covid issues in New Mexico. Still, should be a good one as Hawaii takes on Houston. Houston was only 3-4 on the season due to numerous cancellations and a very late start to the season. They have played just one time since Nov 14, a loss at Memphis, 27-30. Hawaii was 4-4 overall on the season. The Rainbow Warriors really depend on QB Chevan Cordeiro. He's a duel threat and when he plays well the team wins. Houston is an offensive team, averaging 32 points per game this year. I have to wonder how the long layoffs will effect this Houston team. Rust could be a big factor here today, especially on offense. Houston also likely without 15 players here today due to Covid and opt outs. I'll take the UNDER in this one. |
12-20-20 | Eagles v. Cardinals OVER 49.5 | Top | 26-33 | Win | 100 | 15 h 2 m | Show |
The Jalen Hurts era made a good start last week for the Philadelphia Eagles as they beat the best defense in the NFL, the Saints 24-21. The Eagles ran for 246 and Hurts passed for 167 yards and no INT's. Arizona snapped a three game losing streak with a win over the Giants, 26-7. The Cardinals held the Giants to just 159 totals yards and had a whopping 37 more offensive plays then the Giants had. The Cards boast the NFL's 4th best offense, 4th in rushing and 17th in passing yards. Philly has been near the bottom third in the offense, but we'll see if that turns around with Hurts at the helm. We might be seeing the end of Carson Wentz in Philly as Hurts looks like the real deal thus far. For me, I'm taking the OVER here on Sunday. |
12-20-20 | Seahawks v. Washington Football Team UNDER 43.5 | 20-15 | Win | 100 | 12 h 57 m | Show
The Washington Football team has flexed their defensive muscles in recent week. They are ranked 4th overall in the NFL, 9th vs the rush and 3rd vs the pass. They will need that defense here today against Russell Wilson and the high flying Seahawks. The offense isn't very good, gaining a mere 193 yards in their win against San Francisco last week. However, the defense got three turnovers and turned those into points. Seattle rebounded from its shocking loss to the Giants two weeks ago with a blowout win over the Jets last week, 40-3. The Hawks had 410 yards and held the Jets to just 185 yards. Seattle has the league's 6th ranked overall offense, 11th in rushing and 4th in passing. This game really boils down to the Washington defense vs the Seattle offense. There is no way that Washington can match Seattle score for score, that just isn't how this team is built. But I've been impressed with their defense I expect them to keep this game close with that defense. Therefore, I'm taking the UNDER here today. |

12-20-20 | Patriots v. Dolphins UNDER 41.5 | 12-22 | Win | 100 | 12 h 56 m | Show
The Patriots looked like they had the offense back on track after scoring at least 20 points in six straight game and going 4-2 over that six game stretch. However, that all came to a halt last week when they play at the LA Rams. The Pats scored just three points in a 3-24 loss. The offense had just 220 total yards and one turnover. The defense played decent, holding LA to 318 yards and one turnover. Cam Newton had just 113 yards passing and the team had 107 yards rushing. The Dolphins mounted a nice comeback at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, but came up on the short end of a 27-33 contest. Though they did backend the spread to get the cover against the +7 point line. The Dolphins have been a good under team all year. They have gone under in three of their last four games and are 5-8 O/U on the season. The passing defense had allowed 174 or fewer their previous three of four games before Patrick Mahones torched them for 354 last week. Though the defense did get four takeaways and three sacks against the Chiefs. Neither of these teams have highly ranked offenses, with Miami coming in at 27th and the Pats at 24th. I don't think the oddsmaker can put up a total low enough on this contest. I have the total at least nine points less. I'm looking at a low scoring game here on Sunday. Play UNDER. |
12-14-20 | Ravens v. Browns UNDER 46 | 47-42 | Loss | -118 | 24 h 42 m | Show
The Cleveland Browns currently sit at 9-3 and in the playoff picture. However, they face a desperate Baltimore team here today that is on the outside of the AFC playoff picture looking in. A loss by the Ravens and they can pretty much kiss any postseason goodbye. The Ravens have had many Covid issues in recent weeks and it has effected the team. They lost to New England without Lamar Jackson (Covid) and then lost to Tennessee before rebounding last week with a win over the Cowboys. They play their last road game here tonight before returning home to close out the regular season against Jacksonville and the Giants. Cleveland's offense and QB Baker Mayfield arguably had their best ever showing last week in a win over Tennessee, 41-35. They had 118 yards rushing and 340 yards Passing with just one turnover. They play the Ravens tonight before the Giants and Jets in subsequent weeks before closing out at home over Pittsburgh. They are trying to hold off the Colts for that AFC Wild Card spot. Usually you have to take a close look at the weather in December for Cleveland. Tonight it looks to be around freezing with winds that could be up near 20 MPH. The winds are the biggest concern as it will effect the passing games. The Ravens love to rush and the Browns are good on the ground too. Expect a lot of ground game here tonight. I'm taking the UNDER. |
12-13-20 | Saints v. Eagles UNDER 43 | 21-24 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 33 m | Show
The New Orleans Saints hold the top playoff spot in the NFC with a 10-2 overall record. Philadelphia is pretty much out of it, even in the NFC East as they are just 3-8-1 on the season. The Saints will play again tomorrow with QB Drew Brees. But that hasn't been a problem with Taysom Hill at the Helm. He's guided them to three straight starting wins. The defense has been great and it should be as it's the tops in the NFL (2nd vs rush and 4th vs pass). That doesn't bode well today as the Eagles will start Jalen Hurts at QB. They have wanted to get Hurts into the mix, but this is more like throwing him to the wolves. Hurts brings a run/pass dynamic to the Eagles, but his passing leaves a lot to be desired. Now he must face the 4th best pass defense. The Saints have gone under in five straight games, mainly because Hill is more a controlled rusher with short passes. Since Hill has bee at the helm, the rushing yards have gone up to 168, 229 and 207 yards in each of their last three games. I don't see the Eagles scoring much over 10 points here today. I'm taking the UNDER. |
12-13-20 | Cardinals v. Giants UNDER 47 | 26-7 | Win | 100 | 13 h 9 m | Show
The Cardinals have seen their playoff hopes drop drastically over the last few weeks as they now sit 6-6. Arizona has lost three straight since their miracle win over Buffalo back on November 15th. There is lots of concern with QB Kyler Murray who has been nursing various injuries, which could account for the lack of offense in recent weeks. The Cards had just 232 total yards last week and 298 yards the previous week. Meanwhile, the Giants are in the driver seat to win the NFC East. They had that big win last week at Seattle and own the tiebreaker over Washington based on head to head win percentage. More good news, they get back QB Daniel Jones here today, who has been nursing a hamstring injury. These teams headed in different directions plus the Cards make that long West to East trip. The Giants have an excellent defense, ranked 7th overall in the NFL and 4th vs the rush. I look for them to give Murray fits here today. Play the UNDER. |
12-13-20 | Vikings v. Bucs OVER 52 | 14-26 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 9 m | Show
Minnesota very much in the playoff hunt at 6-6 as they hold the tiebreaker over 6-6 Arizona. Tampa Bay is 7-5 and sits 6th in the NFC playoff picture, so today's game is very important to both teams. The Vikings have pulled two wins from the jaws of defeat in the last two weeks with late wins over Carolina and Jacksonville. But those were at home and now they go to Tampa to face Tom Brady and company. The defense is not good, ranked 23rd overall and 27th vs the pass. Tampa Bay, which was ranked in the top 2 or three, has since dropped to 8th overall, though they are still 1st vs the run. That should be put to test here today against the 6th ranked Minnesota rushing attack. Both teams posses the players to score big here and combine that with the Vikings poor defense and I'm playing OVER. |
12-12-20 | San Diego State v. BYU UNDER 47.5 | 14-28 | Win | 100 | 23 h 46 m | Show
BYU has to be perplexed as to how their high flying offense was clipped last game by the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. BYU fully expected to add that game and just run right over Coastal Carolina with their great offense. That didn't happen and the loss is devastating to their claim to be a playoff team, which won't happen now. Now they finish the season and sure they will be in a bowl game, but not the one they wanted on New Year's day. They get a very good defensive San Diego State team here today and I won't be surprised if the starts play only the first half. No reason to push them since the game has no meaning to the Cougars. San Diego State is coming off a win over Colorado State, 29-17. They are 4-2 S/U and ATS on the season. No one really talks much about the Aztecs but they have an excellent defense that has allowed no more than 28 points in any game this year and more than 20 points just two times. The Aztecs are ranked 3rd in the nation in total defense this year allowing just 269 total yards. Playing UNDER 47 points with the 3rd ranked defense against a disinterested BYU team looks great to me. Play under. |
12-10-20 | Pittsburgh v. Georgia Tech OVER 54.5 | 34-20 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 9 m | Show
Pittsburgh Panthers coming off a loss last week at Clemson, 17-52. The Panthers had been on a nice run of two straight wins and scoring 41 or more points in each game. This has been a very good over team, with eight straight games going over the total. Georgia Tech has also been a good over team, with six of their nine games this year going OVER the total. Tech coming off a road loss at NC State, 13-23. Pitt is the kind of team that Georgia Tech should be able to score well against. Tech ranks 66th nationally in total offense and Pitt is 87th. I'm taking the over here tonight. |
12-06-20 | Rams v. Cardinals UNDER 48.5 | 38-28 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 50 m | Show
The LA Rams have been a perplexing team. They go to Tampa Bay and win 27-24 against Tom Brady and a very good defense. Then they come home and can have a terrible time offensively against the 49ers as they lose, 20-23. The Rams had just 308 total yards of offense in that loss. The Rams also had four turnovers. Now they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals. The Cardinals have lost two straight games and three of their last four. They lost to the Patriots last week, 17-20 and the Seahawks the week before, 21-28. The offense had 298 yards of offense last week and 314 the week before. Both teams seem to have lost something offensively here in recent weeks. The Rams still have a excellent defense, ranked 2nd in the NFL, fourth vs the rush and 3rd vs the pass. I look for another low scoring game here today. Play UNDER. |
12-06-20 | Saints v. Falcons UNDER 46 | 21-16 | Win | 100 | 16 h 45 m | Show
New Orleans will be without Drew Brees again this week with his rib injuries. Taysom Hill will start again here today. The Saints beat the Broncos last week as Denver had no quarterbacks and New Orleans had little issues in the 31-3 win. Still, the Saints managed just 63 total passing yards to go with their 229 rushing yards. The Falcons had the week off after beating the Raiders the week before, 43-6. The team has won three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Their one loss came to these Saints on Nov 22nd, 9-24 in New Orleans. Atlanta's offense has improved to 10th overall and 6th passing. The Saints are 13th, 7th rushing. The Saints defense is ranked No 1 overall, 2nd against the rush and 5th against the pass. This will be a tough task today on the road for the Saints against a improving Falcons club. I expect a lot of rushing from the Saints as they limit Hill's passing attempts. Take the UNDER. |
12-06-20 | Browns v. Titans OVER 53 | 41-35 | Win | 100 | 16 h 44 m | Show
Cleveland won at Jacksonville last week, 27-25 though they failed to cover the TD spread. While the Browns have won three straight, they have covered just one of their last six games. The Browns finally got away from that bad Cleveland weather that saw them go under three games in a row due to various inclement conditions. The Titans are coming off a big win at Indianapolis last week, 45-26. The Titans have scored 75 points in their last two games against two very good defenses. Tennessee has seen its offense rankings climb to 8th overall and 2nd in the league rushing. They will face the Browns 17th ranked defense. The way the Titans offense is firing on all cylinders, I expect this game to be high scoring. Play OVER. |
12-05-20 | West Virginia v. Iowa State UNDER 49.5 | 6-42 | Win | 100 | 15 h 2 m | Show
Two of the best defensive teams in college football matchup here on Saturday. West Virginia is ranked 4th overall in defense and has allowed just six redzone TD's all season. Iowa State is 28th in defense. West Virginia coming off a win over TCU, 24-6 and a loss to Texas 13-17. Only Baylor (21 points) and Texas Tech (34 points) have scored more than 17 vs West Virginia this year. Iowa State coming off a 23-20 win over Texas last week and a 45-0 shutout over Kansas State the week before. I expect a lower scoring contest here today. I'm taking the UNDER. |
11-29-20 | Bears v. Packers UNDER 44.5 | 25-41 | Loss | -118 | 22 h 37 m | Show
The Chicago Bears came up short at Minnesota two weeks ago, losing 13-19. The Bears offense was anemic, totaling just 149 yards. Still, their defense kept them close. The defense ranks 8th overall and 9th vs the pass. They will be tested here today against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. The Packers have the 7th overall offense and 6th via the pass. The Packers lost a close one last week in Indianapolis, 31-34. Rodgers had 280 yards passing and was intercepted once by the Colts. Surprisingly, the Packers have gone under in four of their last seven games. Both these games went under last year, with the packers winning 21-13 and 10-3. The Bears know they can't get into a scoring match here with the Packers. They will have to rely on take away and keep the ball more on offense while hoping their defense can keep Rodgers off balance. Take the UNDER. |
11-29-20 | Chiefs v. Bucs OVER 56 | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 41 m | Show
The Chiefs avenged their only loss this season as they beat the Raiders last week, 35-31 on a last minute TD drive by Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs have scored 33 or more points in four straight games and have yet to score fewer than 23 points. The offense ranks 2nd overall and 1st via the pass (301 yards per game). The rushing game is adequate, ranking 16th at 113 yards per game. The defense is right in the middle of the pack at 15th. Tampa Bay was embarrassed again in the big national spotlight, this time losing at home to the Rams, 24-27. Tom Brady looking very average of late couldn't lead his team on any last minute win. The Rams passed for 367 yards against the highly ranked Bucs defense. If Jared Goff could pass for over 300 yards against this Bucs team, what will Mahomes do here today? I really believe there is a disconnection between Brady and HC Arians. They don't seem to be on the same page at times and Brady looks to get rid of passes all too early. I'm taking the Chiefs here on Sunday. |
11-28-20 | Mississippi State v. Ole Miss OVER 69.5 | 24-31 | Loss | -103 | 16 h 58 m | Show
Two old rivals meet here on the gridiron on Saturday as Ole Miss hosts Mississippi State. State is coming off a loss at Georgia last week, 24-31. They got the cover and the game went over. It was only the 2nd over of the season for State. Ole Miss is a much more scoring machine, beating South Carolina two weeks ago 59-42 and having last week off. Ole Miss has gone over in five of their seven games. They have also scored 35 or more points in five of seven games. Ole Miss one of the worst defensive teams in football, ranking 125th. However, where they lack on defense they make up for on offense, ranking 3rd overall in the nation. Miss State not a high scoring team, but when playing one of the worst defensive teams in the country they should get there share here. It's Ole Miss that will drive this game over though, as I expect at least 40 point out of the Rebels. Take the OVER. |
11-28-20 | Rutgers v. Purdue OVER 60 | 37-30 | Win | 100 | 16 h 57 m | Show
Rutgers won their opener back in October against Michigan State. Since then they are 0-4 after last week's loss at home to Michigan, 42-48. Rutgers has allowed 27 or more points in all but one game this season with three of those at 37 or more points. Purdue was favored last week at Minnesota, but lost in a shootout, 31-34. It was the club's second straight loss. The rest of the schedule (3 games) is Rutgers today, then at home against Nebraska and close out at Indiana. Purdue is 63rd in the nation in offense with Rutgers at 91st. Purdue is 62nd in defense with Rutgers at 87th. Don't figure there to be much defense in this contest. I look for Purdue to get plenty of points in this one. Play the OVER. |
11-28-20 | Troy v. Appalachian State UNDER 49 | 10-47 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 27 m | Show
App State has one of the best defensive teams in the country and it showed last week as they contained a Coastal Carolina team for most of the the game. Even though Coastal beat App State, 34-23, seven of those points came on a pick six late in the games with just seconds remaining to give Coastal the cover. That was the most points App State has allowed this year. In fact, before that game, the previous seven opponents have been held to 21 points or fewer. That doesn't bode well for a Troy team that has scored just 30 total points in their last two games. Troy coming off a loss last week to a bad Middle Tennessee State team, 17-20. Troy has just four wins and with two games left against the top tier conference teams, it doesn't look good for Troy to get any more W's. I don't see Troy getting much in points here today and App State likely will ground it out on the ground. Take the UNDER. |
11-26-20 | New Mexico v. Utah State UNDER 52 | Top | 27-41 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 26 m | Show |
New Mexico is literally playing every game on the road this year. Due to Covid restrictions, they aren't allowed to play in their home stadium, so all their home games are in Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. In reality, this team has no home. And, they are still looking for that first win of the season. They played at Air Force last week and were able to hold the high flying Falcons to just 28 points, but alas, the Lobos were shutout. They also held a very potent Nevada offense to just 27 points the week before, but again lost, scoring just 20. Utah State has yet to win a game in four tries. In fact, they haven't scored more than 16 points in any game. The result was firing of their head coach. Still, same result last week in a 16-35 loss at home to Fresno. So tonight one of these teams will get their first win of the season. For me, I'm taking the UNDER here. Neither team has much offense to present. Utah State is 126th in offense, only U Mass is worse this year. New Mexico is better at 64th. I look for a low scoring game here today. Play UNDER. |
11-26-20 | Washington Football Team v. Cowboys UNDER 46 | 41-16 | Loss | -109 | 13 h 27 m | Show
Washington was responsible for ending Joe Burrows year last week with a knee injury. Washington had little trouble with the Bengals thereafter, taking the game 20-9. The Dallas Cowboys got a much needed win in the NFC East with a win over the Vikings last week, 31-28. It was the most points the Cowboys have put on the board since Dak Prescot went out for the season on October 11th vs the Giants. Thanks in part to the role Prescot played early in the season, the Cowboys still have the 6th ranked offense, 13th rushing and 7th passing. Washington is ranked 26th in the league in offense, 20th rushing and 24th passing. Washington has a decent defense, ranked 6th overall and 1st against the pass. Look for Washington to put more men in the box on Thursday to stop Ezekiel Elliot and put pressure on the Dallas passing game. I'm going to take this matchup under as I don't see either team getting a lot of points. Play UNDER. |
11-23-20 | Rams v. Bucs UNDER 48.5 | 27-24 | Loss | -110 | 46 h 32 m | Show
Rams beat the Seahawks on Sunday, shutting them out in the 2nd half. However, the win didn't come without a big loss, that being left tackle Andrew Whitworth who tore his MCL and is done for the season. Why is this so important? The Rams play one of the best defenses in the league and a defense that loves to blitz QB's. With Whitworth out, you lose a very good veteran who protects Goff's blindside. That will open up the attack for the Bucs and you can believe they will design an attack just for that here on Monday. Goff does not do well under pressure and he will be under plenty tonight. With Goff under all this pressure from a top NFL defense I look for the Rams to score below their season average and this game to go UNDER. |
11-22-20 | Packers v. Colts OVER 51 | 31-34 | Win | 100 | 18 h 41 m | Show
The Green Bay Packers will unleash their 6th ranked offense against the Indianapolis Colts and their top ranked defense. The Colts have the 3rd ranked rushing defense and the 2nd ranked passing defense. The Packers played a pretty uninspired contest last week at Jacksonville, winning 24-20 as a 13.5 point favorite. The Colts had a pretty easy time at Tennessee, winning 34-17 on the road as a 1-point favorite. The Colts had 430 yards to just 294 by the Titans. The Packers have score 30 points or more in six of their nine games this season. Despite having a good defense, the Colts have gone over in four of their last five games. For me, that's what I'm playing this weekend. Take the OVER. |
11-22-20 | Falcons v. Saints OVER 49 | 9-24 | Loss | -107 | 14 h 15 m | Show
NFC South clash here has Atlanta Falcons playing at New Orleans Saints. Saints will be without QB Drew Brees who will sit this one out with a rib injury. Taysom Hill will step into the starters role for the Saints. Hill sees plenty of action normally so this shouldn't be a big departure for the Saints. The Saints were able to beat the 49ers last week, 27-13 behind four San Francisco turnovers. The Saints also used their potent rushing attack to gain 114 yards compared to the Niners 49 yards. The Falcons have the 30th ranked defense, 6th vs the rush and 30th vs the pass. Even without Brees, I like these teams to get points on the board. Hill should have issues moving this team against this poor Falcons defense. Expect lots of points here today. Play the OVER. |
11-19-20 | Cardinals v. Seahawks UNDER 58.5 | 21-28 | Win | 100 | 33 h 9 m | Show
The Seattle Seahawks were shutout in the 2nd half of Sunday's loss at the Rams. When was the last time that has happened to a Russell Wilson led team? So why did this happen? Wilson is getting beat up without a good offensive line in front of him. That's becoming apparent. And as such, I look for the Hawks to spend more time running the ball here tonight. They can't keep letting Wilson get hit as mush as he has been lately. The gameplan has to change tonight and for me I see much more running attack by Seattle. With that being said, that 58 point total looks like a mountain to me that these teams will not overcome. Then you add in possibly the wind and rain and that makes me like this play even more. I'm playing UNDER in this one on Thursday. |
11-18-20 | Northern Illinois v. Ball State OVER 61.5 | 25-31 | Loss | -112 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Northern Illinois playing its third game tonight after a pair of blowout losses. The Huskies opened with a loss at home to Buffalo, 30-49,failing to cover the 14.5 point line. Then last week they were blown out at home by Central Michigan, 10-40 as a 7-point dog. Ball State is 1-1 after losing their opener to Miami Ohio, 31-38 and then wining last week over Eastern Michigan, 38-31. Both games easily going over the total. The weather looks to be pretty good tonight with temps in the mid-40's with light winds. This one looks to be another shootout tonight with both team scoring and neither having much of a defense. Play the OVER. |
11-17-20 | Buffalo v. Bowling Green UNDER 58 | 42-17 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 51 m | Show
Buffalo Bulls brings their 2-0 record into Bowling Green tonight. The Bulls opened with a win over Northern Illinois, 49-30, then beat last year's MAC Champion Miami Ohio, 42-10. Bowling Green Falcons opened with a loss to Toledo, 3-38 and then lost to Kent State last week, 24-62. Buffalo is 21-7 ATS in their last 28 conference games. The Falcons are just 5-21 ATS in their last 26 at home and have gone UNDER in 14 of their last 19 games overall. Bowling Green has a tough schedule as they now plays their third good MAC team in a row and that will be another loss tonight. I'm looking at the total here. Buffalo can score at will against this team, but the Bulls defense should hold BG to very few if any points. I'm going to take the UNDER here tonight. |
11-16-20 | Vikings v. Bears UNDER 43.5 | 19-13 | Win | 100 | 50 h 56 m | Show
The Vikings coming off a big win at home over Detroit last week, 34-20. That's two big wins in a row since Dalvin Cook returned. The running game is piling up the yards with 275 last week and 173 the week before. Compare that to just 32 in their loss three weeks ago to Atlanta, 23-40. The Bears got stuffed last week in Tennessee, 17-27. The Bears defense did its job, holding the Titans to just 228 total yards. However, two turnovers were too much to overcome in the loss. The Bears are now 3-6 Over/Under on the season and 1-3 o/u at home. Chicago has the 30th ranked offense in the league this year. However, their defense is ranked 8th, 7th vs the pass and 14th vs the run. This one will all depend on how well the Vikings can run the ball against this Bears defense. I look for a low scoring game in this one. Take UNDER |
11-15-20 | Chargers v. Dolphins OVER 48 | 21-29 | Win | 100 | 22 h 43 m | Show
The Chargers look to snap a two game losing streak here on Sunday. They lost last week to the Raiders, 26-31 and the previous week to the Broncos, 30-31. The Chargers just can't seem to win close games as they had chances to win both games in the final seconds. Defense has been an issue, allowing 29 points or more in five straight games (all overs). Despite all the points allowed, they come in ranked 15th overall in defense. Meanwhile, Miami looks to win their third straight under their new rookie QB. The Dolphins won on the road last week at Arizona, 34-31. That followed a win at home over the Rams, 28-17. In both games the Dolphins were out gained in total yards. The defense and special teams have produced touchdowns in both games. Miami's 21st ranked defense will have to contend with Chargers' QB Hebert who is having an excellent season since taking over for Tyrod Taylor. The Chargers have the 3rd ranked overall offense, 5th in passing. I expect a lot of points on the board here today as neither defense likely to stop the opposing offense. Play OVER. |
11-15-20 | Bills v. Cardinals OVER 56 | 30-32 | Win | 100 | 22 h 43 m | Show
The Bills offense was clicking last week at home against Seattle in a big win, 44-34. Even though they ran the ball for just 34 yards, Josh Allen threw for 386 yards in the win. It was the team's second over in a row after they beat New England two weeks ago, 24-21. That ended a drought that saw the team score 18 or fewer points in three straight weeks. Arizona had no answer last week for Miami as they lost in a shootout, 31-34. The defense didn't play bad for giving up 34 points, allowing just 91 rushing yards and 221 passing yards. Arizona rushed for 178 yards and passed for 264 yards in the loss. It was the team's 2nd over after a 37-34 win the previous week over Seattle. Arizona has the league's 2nd ranked offense, 2nd rushing and 12th passing. Buffalo ranks 12th, 26th rushing and 7th passing. Both teams are about even defensively, with Buffalo coming in at 18th and Arizona 19th. I expect a lot of yards in this one and with that another OVER. Play OVER. |
11-15-20 | Texans v. Browns UNDER 46 | 7-10 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
Cleveland had last week off. Good thing too with some Covid concerns and also injuries. Those appear to be solved here today. However, if you remember back to their Nov 1 game vs the Raiders they had high winds and it really shut down the scoring. The Browns had just 223 totals yards and neither team got over 122 yards passing. Well, it's deja vu all over again here today. Winds are expected over 20 mph throughout the game and for me, that means another ground and pound game from both teams. With that, I'll throw out stats in this one and put my money on the wind and in this case, the UNDER |
11-15-20 | Jaguars v. Packers UNDER 49 | 20-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
Jacksonville finally got a spread win after five straight loss with their narrow defeat last week to Houston, 25-27. The defense held the Texans to just 374 yards in the loss. The Packers bounced back from their loss to the Vikings two weeks ago with a win over the SFO 49ers, 34-17. Green Bay has the 6th ranked overall offense this season. Jacksonville is 21st in the league. One factor not on the stat sheet today is the weather. Actually the wind, which will be blow up into the 20's here today. Winds effect play more than rain or possibly even snow. Jax QB Gardner Minshew will miss this game with a thumb injury. That will further hinder the scoring in this contest. I'm taking UNDER here today. |
11-08-20 | Dolphins v. Cardinals OVER 49 | 34-31 | Win | 100 | 19 h 59 m | Show
The Tua Tagovailoa era began last week as the rookie made his first start of the season at home against the Rams. If you look at just the final score you would expect a big Miami offensive explosion as they won 28-17. However, it was defensive TD's that made the score and win for the Dolphins. The Rams had 471 yards to just 145 for the Dolphins. Tua had just 90 passing yards and the offense 55 rushing yards. It was the four Rams turnovers that inflated that score. Now they had better find some offense at they travel to Arizona to face the high scoring Cardinals. Arizona has the 2nd ranked offense, 2nd rushing and 14th passing. Miami's defense got all the credit last week, but overall they are just 20th in the league and 26th against the pass. That will be the test this week. I don't believe the Dolphins have much shot against this Cardinals team that is leaps and bounds above them on the offensive sides of the ball. Expect lots of points in this one, likely most coming from the birds side of the column. Play the OVER. |

11-08-20 | Raiders v. Chargers OVER 52.5 | 31-26 | Win | 100 | 19 h 39 m | Show
The Vegas Raiders ran into a whipping wind storm in Cleveland last week and that resulted in a low scoring game that Vegas won, 16-6. Vegas held the Browns to just 223 total yards, 101 rushing and 122 passing. Despite the winds, there was only one turnover and that was by Cleveland. The Chargers lost a heartbreaker on the last play of the game last week at Denver, 30-31. Bad coaching seems to be the norm these days for the Chargers. LA had 82 plays to just 57 by Denver and had 485 yards to just 351. Chargers QB Justin Herbert is having a great season since taking over early in the year for Tyrod Taylor. Herbert threwe for 275 yards and has now eclipsed 1500 yards on the season. The Chargers have the 3rd best offense in the league, 6th in passing and 8th in rushing. The Raiders have the 8th overall offense, 7th in rushing and 10th in passing. Both teams not very good on the defensive side, with the Chargers ranked 18th and the Raiders 21st. Vegas has gone over in six of their seven games this season while the Chargers are 4-3 o/u on the season. I expect a lot of offense here in the Sofi Stadium. I'm taking OVER. |

11-08-20 | Seahawks v. Bills OVER 55 | 34-44 | Win | 100 | 16 h 33 m | Show
Seattle makes the cross country trip to take on the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo held on to beat the New England Patriots last week, 24-21, but didn't cover the 4-point line. Buffalo was slightly outplayed, but got the big plays when they needed them. Seattle once again in a shootout, beating San Francisco 37-27 as a 1-point favorite. The Seahawks and 49ers each had 35 yards and the lone advantage came in rushing yards where Seattle had 101 to the Niners 51. Seattle has the top rated offense in the league and is 1st in passing and 12th in rushing. Buffalo is 13th in the league, 9th in passing and 21st in rushing. Issue for the Seahawks is that they are dead last in overall defense, 32nds vs the pass and 7th vs the rush. Buffalo doesn't have the defense they had last year, now ranking 16th overall, 10th vs the pass. These are two great over/under bets this year, between them they are 11-3 Over/Under. I look for another high scoring Seattle game this week. Take OVER. |

11-01-20 | 49ers v. Seahawks OVER 53 | 27-37 | Win | 100 | 20 h 29 m | Show
The San Francisco 49ers went into Foxboro last week and demolished the Patriots, 33-6. The Niners had 467 yards to just 241 for the Pats. The Niners also rushed for 197 yards in the game. Seattle was in another shootout, but what's new. They lost at Arizona, 34-37, but really should have won if not for a penalty on a Arizona field goal that resulted in a first down and subsequent TD. Still, just another example of the Seahawks playing nail biting games that are high scoring. Seattle is now 4-1 O/U on the season and both home games have gone over. The Niners have seen two of their three road games go over this year. Seattle has the worst defense in the NFL overall and worst vs pass. However, Seattle does have the NFL's best offense and 2nd ranked passing offense. That combination does provide those high scoring games. I'm sticking with the formula for this one today. Take OVER. |

11-01-20 | Saints v. Bears UNDER 43 | 26-23 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 29 m | Show
The New Orleans Saints survived last week against a pesky Carolina club, 27-24, though they didn't cover the 7-point line. The Saints outgained the Panthers 415-283 yards. Now they face the 8th ranked Bears defense. The Saints defense is actually rated higher than Chicago, 7th overall and 4th against the rush. Offensively, the Bears are 29th in the league and have the worst rushing game in the NFL (84 yards per game). The have also been intercepted nine times (28th in the league). Conditions not so great in Chicago on Sunday as it's expected to be around freezing with winds close to 20 mph. With the playing conditions and two very good defenses, I'm going UNDER. |

11-01-20 | Patriots v. Bills UNDER 41 | 21-24 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 4 m | Show
Buffalo won last week at the Jets, though they never came close to covering the spread. The Bills could manage just six field goals against a poor Jets team despite outgaining the Jets 422 yards to just 190. New England continues to sputter. After a poor showing and loss to the Broncos two weeks ago, they did it again last week at home vs the 49ers, losing 6-33. This despite Cam Newton being back for both games. The Patriots managed just 22 yards rushing and 147 yards passing to go with four turnovers. The Pats are in serious trouble as their offense has completely gone South. The Bills haven't clicked on offense for a few weeks now. I'm taking the UNDER. |

11-01-20 | Vikings v. Packers UNDER 50 | 28-22 | Push | 0 | 17 h 3 m | Show
The Minnesota Vikings hope to welcome back star running back Dalvin Cook this week. Cook has missed the last couple of weeks with a groin injury and is a very important cog to this Vikings offense. The Packers could be without their star running back in Aaron Jones. Jones is nursing a calf injury and is currently questionable for this contest. The Vikings had a much needed week off after some lackluster performances. The Packers won last week at Houston, 35-20, just getting under the 55.5 total. Green Bay had only 379 yards vs 365 yards by Houston, yet outscored them by 15 points. This series has been an under series in recent years, with the last three going under and eight of the last 10 going under. The Packers have the 10th ranked defense in the league while Minnesota is 27th. Green Bay has the 8th ranked offense while Minnesota comes in at 14th. Even with cook back here today I'm expecting this game to come in under the 51 point total. Play UNDER. |

10-30-20 | Hawaii v. Wyoming UNDER 60.5 | 7-31 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Mountain West finally got underway last week and both these teams had opposite opening days. Hawaii won it's opener at Fresno State, 34-19. Meanwhile Wyoming lost in OT to Nevada, 34-37. Hawaii will be a long way from its balmy weather as they play at ice-cold Laramie Wyoming tonight. Maybe that will cool down the Hawaii attack that put up 34 points at Fresno last week. Wyoming found itself down 6-28 last week before climbing back and forcing an OT at Nevada. Harsh conditions here isn't something Hawaii is used to playing in. With below freezing temps here tonight I don't see the same high scoring games we got last week. I'm taking, UNDER. |
10-29-20 | Colorado State v. Fresno State OVER 59 | 17-38 | Loss | -109 | 25 h 47 m | Show
The Mountain West just began play last week, but Colorado State didn't play their first game until tonight. Steve Addazio will make his debut as the new HC of the Colorado State Rams. The Rams finished last year 4-8 on the season. Fresno State is 0-1 and under first year HC in Kalen DeBoer. Fresno lost last week at home to Hawaii, 19-34. The Rams have Patriock O'Brien back at QB. He threw for 13 TD's last and 7 INT's. Should see improved here tonight in the Fresno offense since they have that one game under their belt. Expect O'Brien to have success against a poor Fresno secondary. I like a lot of points in this one. Play OVER. |

10-29-20 | Falcons v. Panthers UNDER 51.5 | 25-17 | Win | 100 | 8 h 14 m | Show
Thursday night action has the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons lost a heartbreaker last week at home to the Detroit Lions, 22-23. Todd Gurley's failure to keep out of the endzone late in the 4th quarter ended up losing the game for the Falcons. The Falcons and Lions went under their 54.5 point total. Carolina gave the Saints all it could handle last week, just coming up short in a 24-27 loss at the Super Dome. Carolina had just 283 totals yards in the game compared to the Saints 415 and ran 24 fewer plays. They did just get over the 49.5 point total. Two of the last three years and four of the last six has seen these two teams go UNDER the total. The Panthers have a decent defense, ranked 11th overall and 9th against the pass. The Panthers also have the 6th best sack total in the league with 32. The Falcons defense is next to last in the league, though they are ranked 6th against the rush. High total here tonight as oddsmakers have adjust up totals since a lot of early week games have gone over. I look for this game to be not quite that high, so I'm playing UNDER. |
10-29-20 | South Alabama v. Georgia Southern UNDER 51.5 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 22 m | Show
South Alabama Jaguars are 3-2 on the season but are a perfect 2-0 in Sun Belt play after beating Louisiana Monroe last week, 38-14. Tonight they get on the national stage with a television game at Georgia Southern in Statesboror, GA. Ga Southern lost to ranked Coastal Carolina last week, 14-28 to fall to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in Sun Belt action. Southern was tied 14-14 at the half and played a Coastal team without its starting QB, but could not do anything offensively in the second half. This Ga Southern team has a fast defense that is led by some very good linebackers and a very good pass rush. They rank 13th nationally in rushing defense and yards per carry. Georgia Southern drops in class this week against South Alabama. South Alabama will have lots of trouble moving the ball against this very good Southern defense that gave Coastal Carolina fits last week. I'm taking the UNDER here tonight as I expect South Alabama to be held in check. Play UNDER. |

10-26-20 | Bears v. Rams UNDER 45 | 10-24 | Win | 100 | 23 h 27 m | Show
The 5-1 Chicago Bears take on the 4-2 LA Rams on Monday Night football from Los Angeles. Contrast of two teams here on Monday as the Bears get it done with their defense first and then just enough of the offense to get them the wins. The Rams offense has been hitting on all cylinders, that is until last week when they went to San Francisco and couldn't do much with the ball. The defense has been hard on opposing QB's with seven sacks and 14 QB hits this year. The offense has 43 points in their last two games, nothing great, but enough to get things done with the defense. The Rams are 2-0 at SoFi Stadium and outscored opponents 37-26. I like defense and the Bears have one of the best this year. I expect the Rams to continue to struggle against good defenses as they did last week. The Bears will play to their defense and that means not a high scoring game. Take the UNDER. |
