02-09-25 Chiefs -115 v. Eagles Top 22-40 Loss -115 28 h 46 m Show

Kansas City at Philadelphia 6:00 ET

Chiefs over Eagles -

Sunday night, Jan. 26, 11 PM ET - My first thoughts after watching Philadelphia crush Washington and the Chiefs doing their usual thing winning but not being overly impressive. two, one and a half, maybe two and a half…that’s the line I had posted in my head in the Super Bowl match-up. I had the right number but the wrong team, I was a bit taken back when it was Kansas City that was the favorite and not the Eagles. How could that be, the Eagles have blown out every opponent down the stretch and in the playoffs and they are the underdog after scoring 55 points to get there…

Sunday night Feb. 2, 8 PM ET- Really, I still haven’t seen the kind of ‘action’ come in on the Eagles the way I had expected. From the moment my well respected peers and friends all want KC because the ‘line’ is backwards. I understand that but does the betting public. As of now the action have been steady and support has been split with a less then a 5% edge to Philadelphia. Truthfully, I am surprise and still waiting for the Eagles action…

Monday, Feb. 3 - my former partner and loyal friend reminded me that back in early October he told me that the Chiefs would stink it out all year but win it all, and he roots against Mahomes because he’s a Brady fan and is afraid that the GOAT could lose his status. He he swears to me with utter conviction the Kansas City is the winner!

Thursday, Feb 6 - Okay, I just did a podcast on Gamblersworld.net and received the selections and opinions from the  most success sports bettors and handicappers in Las Vegas and they ALL like KC, Jim loves the coaching advantage, Sean believe s the ‘number’ is fishy and likes the Chiefs, Marc has a trend that say Chiefs, Scott has the Chiefs for $440,000 and even my man Wayne it gong ball-up on tribesman. Man, where is the Philly money?

Friday, Feb 7 - I am going to post either tonight (Friday) or early Saturday. I am taking the Chiefs with the expectation of Eagles money soaring in on game day. I will NOT lay point with KC it is either money line or if some how Philadelphia going off the favorite then take the points. You see what my colleagues are saying is how I see the game as well. I don’t know how but in some way or fashion it is a 3-peat. Take KANSAS CITY!

02-09-25 Chiefs v. Eagles UNDER 49 Top 22-40 Loss -110 14 h 9 m Show

Chiefs/Eagles - UNDER

Okay boys and girls you know that I very rarely post totals except for the playoffs and this is the highest rated total even stronger than the Chiefs or Eagles could be. It is Kansas City’s defense that got them where they are and they are going to fixate on stopping former Giants Barley. Two years ago they met in the Super Bowl and the game went OVER the total easy…NOT this time. Play UNDER!

01-26-25 Bills v. Chiefs -125 29-32 Win 100 21 h 57 m Show

Buffalo at Kansas City 6:30 ET

Chiefs over Bills- The Kansas City Chiefs have to be the least impressive and least respected team I’ve ever come across to be on a cusp of their third straight Super Bowl. They were out gained yardage wise by every playoff team the met and still managed to win. There is one thing right now standing in their way and that is the Bills. Buffalo who defeated the Chiefs 30-21 at home must now turn the trick in Kansas City. Josh Allen (My MVP) and Patrick Mahomes have split their encounters with the Chiefs prevailing in the playoffs 3-0. But, it is the defense that will win this battle last week the Bills surrendered 176 yards on the ground and a total of 416 yards for the Ravens. But, four turnover and numerous dropped passes deceided their fate. ML (Marc Lawrence) tells me the home team is 15-3 in the last 18 AFC title games! Take KANSAS CITY!

01-26-25 Bills v. Chiefs UNDER 48.5 29-32 Loss -108 21 h 55 m Show

Bills/Chiefs UNDER - There are so many factors that say this game will be low scoring. Conservative play calling, the cold and windy weather along with in general nerves being on edge. These two have already play this season and the game ended 30-21 in Buffalo. You will not see that kind of scoring here. Not today in Kansas City…Play UNDER!

01-26-25 Commanders v. Eagles -6 23-55 Win 100 17 h 18 m Show

Washington at Philadelphia 3:00 ET

Eagles (-) over Commanders - To start with I hate myself for passing on Washington in both of their playoff wins. I can sort of forgive myself for Detroit loss but not Tampa Bay. Now, they have finally met their Waterloo as the Eagles will soar behind their run game. Behind Saquon Barkley The birds will control the clock as they try and keep Hurts from having to make plays with his ailing knee. Hurts is 11-2 in home starts with both losses to the former Redskins. I think the kid is great and I believe he will be back and more than once but not today. ML tells me playoff teams in their fourth straight road game are 0-9 SU and 1-7-1 ATS. Take PHILADELPHIA!

01-20-25 Ohio State v. Notre Dame +8.5 Top 34-23 Loss -110 24 h 22 m Show

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Atlanta

Notre Dame vs Ohio State 7:30 ET

Fighting Irish (+) over Buckeyes- In late November the weekend that Notre Dame pounded the Army 49-14 and Ohio State lost 13-10 to Michigan I mentioned on the College Preview podcasts at Gamblersworld.net that the only way that OSU coach Sean Day can save his job after four straight losses to Michigan was to win the National Championship. I also stated that I thought the Fighting Irish were good enough to win it all. The Buckeyes’ claim had people that could still see them winning but I was scoffed at about the Notre Dame statement. These were not predictions just my personal feelings from my observations. So. now what, both of these clubs beat me last week (first time EVER losing a semi-final game) and now I’m supposed to have a feel for the winner, and I believe that I do! It’s all or nothing and neither of these clubs will be concerned with the number’ as the only thing that matters is winning the game there are no moral victories. You must win the game! Take NOTRE DAME!

01-19-25 Ravens v. Bills +1.5 Top 25-27 Win 100 15 h 5 m Show

Baltimore at Buffalo 6:30 ET

Bills (+) over Ravens- Without a doubt one of the toughest calls in my playoff handicapping history and I am serious about that with all the components that comprise this match-up. The MVP award is one based on regular season play and both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are the leading contenders. Nothing to do with anything but because Lamar has already won it twice that the sentiment is going to Allen...and here is where he earns it. At home the Bills freeze out Ravens. Take BUFFALO!

01-19-25 Rams +7 v. Eagles 22-28 Win 100 4 h 28 m Show

LA Rams at Philadelphia 3:00 ET

Eagles (-) over Rams- There are so many factors and trends that are favorable for Philadelphia it is difficult to see anything else. Everything from the site, the number, the history, the weather, the fires and more. Although Los Angeles was very impressive against Minnesota especially on defense and on the other side of the ball I am sure QB Matthew Stafford is capable. The Eagles have won the past two meetings and seven of the last eight  including their 37-20 domination while running for 314 yards with Barley picking up 255 last November 24. Too much for me, but I feel like it is OVERKILL! Take LOS ANGELES RAMS!

01-18-25 Commanders v. Lions -8.5 Top 45-31 Loss -112 17 h 51 m Show

Washington at Detroit 8:00 ET

Lions (-) over Daniels- We have all witnessed it, the Lions having a dominating season (15-2) and capturing the NFL’s No. 1 seed for the first time in franchise history. Washington has won 13 games under rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels who has set QB rookie records in numerous categories. The Lions are 0-3 against the former Redskins in the playoffs with their last meeting in the NFC title game in 1991. Not this time...take DETROIT!

01-18-25 Texans v. Chiefs -8 14-23 Win 100 13 h 12 m Show

Houston at Kansas City 1:30 ET

Chiefs (-) over Texans- i just heard a stat on VSIN radio that in the NFL playoffs that favorites of 7-points or more have won 18 straight times. Well, with 23 days rest will Kansas City be able to just turn it on after the winningest non-impressive 11 one score wins. Four interception last week will not happen with a Mahomes on the warpath. Take KANSAS CITY!

01-13-25 Vikings v. Rams +2.5 Top 9-27 Win 100 7 h 42 m Show

Minnesota vs. LA Rams 8:00 ET

Rams (+) over Vikings- This is a sad spot for Minnesota as they had an opportunity to receive a bye in the Wild Card round and instead they are the No. 5 seed and that spells trouble. Here’s part of the problem for them (aside from Darnold reverting back to his previous form and he is now being referred to as ‘Sane Daronld’. The No. 1 seed (now the Lions) has made it to the Super Bowl in 75% of the games whereas the No. 5 seed has won it just twice as the Giants and Buccaneers have done. This game being move to Glendale only increased the line but the Rams done lose much as their home field advantage with crowd support not the most intimidating in LA. The Vikings have already lost top the Rams in LA 30-20 and then proceeded to win nine straight games until their final against Detroit. The Rams started 1-4 and have now won nine of their past 11 games and have won the past three meetings. Take LOS ANGELES RAMS!

01-12-25 Commanders v. Bucs -3 23-20 Loss -105 15 h 30 m Show

Washington at Tampa Bay 8:00 ET

Buccaneers (-) over Scalpers- At first glance I was all over Washington especially after the way they won and yet did not cover against the Cowboys ((Megabucks winner). Tampa Bay was in a battle for their playoffs lives last week (at least in the first half) defeating New Orleans. both quarterbacks Mayfield and Daniels both know how to get the ball into the end zone...but experience is the best teacher. Take TAMPA BAY!

01-12-25 Packers +5.5 v. Eagles Top 10-22 Loss -110 11 h 12 m Show

Green Bay at Philadelphia 4:30 ET

Packers (+) over Eagles- I remember after the 1960 Championship game played at Franklin Field in Philadelphia between Green Bay and the Eagles, Vince Lombardi saying that he will not be stopped two-yards short of a Champion again...and they got those yards winning five NFL titles in the nest seven seasons. So what does that have to do with that game 45 years ago,...nothing really but Philadelphia has been so good that things will not as smoothly against the Packers as they did against the Giants. Pack blew a game late against the Bears last week while the Eagles coasted with back-ups over the Giants. The Pack played the No. 6 toughest schedule and all loses except for the final throw-away game against Chicago they only lost to playoff teams where as the Eagles had the 30th weakest schedule for the 2-24 season. It shows today. Down to the final gun...take GREEN BAY!

01-12-25 Broncos +9 v. Bills 7-31 Loss -115 8 h 31 m Show

Denver at Buffalo 1:00 ET

Broncos (+) over Bills- Bo Nix or Josh Allen...nah, it doesn’t come down to that. They both may end up award winners as MVP and Offensive Rookie of the Year although Jayden Daniels may have a lock on that one. Anyway Denver’s year has been more attributed to Sean Payton in my eyes. No question Buffalo should be the heavy favorite but this is the layoffs and I know the Bills have been very successful in the Wild Card round, but the Broncos’ coach will keep this close. Take DENVER!

01-11-25 Steelers v. Ravens -9 14-28 Win 100 14 h 42 m Show

Pittsburgh at Baltimore 8:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Ravens- Really now, this team the Pittsburgh Steelers clinched a playoff spot five weeks ago and then went out an lost their final four games and it wasn’t pretty. Pittsburgh quarterback Russell Wilson has reverted back to what we expected out him performance wise and they fall short with him at the helm. We have seen what the Ravens have been doing and Lamar is ready to have a great playoff experience. Take BALTIMORE!

01-11-25 Chargers v. Texans +3.5 Top 12-32 Win 100 11 h 51 m Show

LA Chargers at Houston 4:30 ET

Texans (+) over Chargers- I like everyone else had a knee jerk reaction when I first saw this match-up between these two and I was inclined to take the NFL’s No. 1 ranked scoring defense and that be the Chargers. Houston has not been at their best of late and even looked over-whelmed against to Ravens two weeks ago. Well, I did a little (some anyway) research and found the strongest of trends that gives me the Texans. It seems that home dog Wild Card team are 9-3 ATS and they also fill another positive wave of of goodies that point to the home team. Take HOUSTON!

01-10-25 Ohio State v. Texas +6 Top 28-14 Loss -105 16 h 29 m Show

CFP Cotton Bowl 7:30 ET

Texas vs Ohio State

Longhorns (+) over Buckeyes- This choice was easy for me win or lose...what! You see once Ohio State was beaten by Michigan I said that they had to get to the final game to save Day’s job after having lost his fourth straight without a victory against the Wolves. I have had the Buckeyes in both of heir romps over Tennessee (1st Round GOY winner) and Oregon ( Rose Bowl GOY Winner) and they way they have won has titled the balance of the quest for the championship and the Longhorns must feel slighted and are (not that it really makes a difference) in Texas. Horns looked vulnerable against Arizona State (better than people realize) and Ohio State has looked invincible...they are NOT!. Take TEXAS!

01-09-25 Notre Dame v. Penn State OVER 44.5 27-24 Win 100 18 h 22 m Show

Nore Dame vs Penn State 7:30 ET

Nittany Lions/Fighting Irish- OVER- Now, let’s take a look at the total points for both teams in this game sand it was already dropped three points. What I heard from the experts is that the total was way too high and after seeing these two play last week it wasn’t their offenses that we were impressed by, it was their defenses. Now, the odds-makers saw the same games as we did and they came up with this number because they ARE the experts. Play OVER!

01-09-25 Notre Dame v. Penn State +1.5 Top 27-24 Loss -108 31 h 49 m Show

Notre Dame vs Penn State 7:30 ET

Nittany Lions (+) over Fighting Irish- It was pointed out that although Penn State would have to win four games it was believed that the had the easiest route to the final and it sure looks that way after wins over SMU and Boise State. Notre Dame who has 11 college football National Championship to their credit but have not won the big one since 1988. The Fighting Irish defeated Georgia with a 17 point blitz in :54 second and their defense did the rest keeping the Bulldogs under 300 total yards on offense. The Domer’s problem is that their quarterback Leonard just might run for more yards than he passes for, like he did against Georgia. The Lions would be so pleased with that as they the Irish offense doesn’t have the balance needed to win here. Take PENN STATE!

01-05-25 Vikings +3 v. Lions 9-31 Loss -108 19 h 23 m Show

Minnesota at Detroit 8:20 ET

Vikings (+) over Lions- Without question in my mind Detroit has been the best team in the NFL this season and that is with the largest number players sidelined by injury. Minnesota has been the surprise of the year and were projected to finish last in the division especially with the fact that the lost their starting quarterback in August and had to settle for Sam Darnold. That ended up being the best for them and them surprise the depleted Lions. Take MINNESOTA!

01-05-25 Dolphins v. Jets -105 20-32 Win 100 15 h 29 m Show

Miami at New York Jets 4:25 ET

Jets (+) over Dolphins- The New York Jets may have had the worst season of all NFL teams because of what was expected of them. Aaron Rodgers has been an less then stellar this season by far the worst of the 40-year old’s career coming off his Achilles heel injury. They fired their coach in mid-season and have no even been competitive game for three months. Today, with Miami playing in the cold and Rodgers possibly be playing his final game (at least as a Jets (at least for the Jets) while the Dolphins will sit Tua for Huntley. Take NEW YORK JETS!

01-05-25 Bills v. Patriots +3.5 16-23 Win 100 12 h 7 m Show

Buffalo at New England 1:00 ET

Patriots (+) over Bills- It has been said that Buffalo will start Josh Allen at QB Sunday against the Patriots who are rated the worst team in the NFL. But, remember that every dog has it’s day and New England still has a bit of bite. The Bills have no incentive to win as their playoff position is locked in. Take NEW ENGLAND!

01-05-25 Giants +2.5 v. Eagles 13-20 Loss -108 12 h 5 m Show

New York Giants at Philadelphia 1:00 ET

Giants (+) over Eagles- The Giants played their way out of the Number one draft pick by rising up and defeating the Colts and have now dropped the the No. 4 spot in the draft. Philadelphia has absolutely nothing to play for and just want to get out of Gotham healthy. New York has had a miserable season cutting the quarterback in mid-season and using three other at one time or another. Eagles are grounded here. Take NEW YORK GIANTS!

01-05-25 Commanders v. Cowboys +7 Top 23-19 Win 100 12 h 6 m Show

Washington at Dallas 1:00 ET

Cowboys (+) over Commies- This rivalry goes back to the Cowboys inception back in the 1960’s and Dallas has always seemed to have an advantage. The ‘Boys have won the past three meetings including a 34-26 win at Washington Thanksgiving weekend making it six wins in seven. The Cowboys has won four of five before getting crushed last week 41-7 by the Eagles. They rebound here against a team that has made the playoffs for the first time in a decade.  Take DALLAS

01-04-25 Bengals v. Steelers +2.5 Top 19-17 Win 100 20 h 4 m Show

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 8:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Bengals- Boy, has this game garnered some attention! As soon as Cincinnati was posted as the road favorite at Pittsburgh me knee jerk reaction was that the odds makers were telling us the they will be the better team on Saturday. The ‘Wise guys’ or pro as you would have it jumped in the Bengals right away driving the line up. For some reason the public have joined in and all seem to believe these ‘cats’ will win because of their need for the wild card spot. I just don’t see both the public and the supposed ‘sharps’ being right together. Take PITTSBURGH!

01-03-25 Minnesota v. Virginia Tech +9.5 Top 24-10 Loss -110 19 h 40 m Show

Mayo Bowl

Minnesota vs Virginia Tech 7:30 ET

Hokies (+) over Golden Gophers- Minnesota was a money maker during the regular season going 9-2-1 ATS one of the better point spread records in the country. Virginia Tech (6-6-) who had to defeat arch rival Virginia in their final game to become bowl eligible. and the did winning 37-17. In the past 10 seasons the Golden Gophers have player in seven bowl games and have won them all. The Hokies are said to have had a number of players opt out but enough veterans remain to make this competitive. Take VIRGINIA TECH!

01-02-25 Duke +17.5 v. Ole Miss 20-52 Loss -109 9 h 56 m Show

Duke vs Mississippi 7:30 ET

Blue Devils (+)  over Rebels- At 9-3 most would feel that the have had a successful season but tat is now how Mississippi feels. The Rebels had their entire offense returning and they were expected at least to be one of the final 12 selected for the CFP, but they have no bitch because they didn’t stand tall when the should have. Duke won their last three and at 9-3 they consider this a successful year. Lane Kiffin always in the news made a fuss about the selection committee but sour grapes won’t help here. Take DUKE!

01-02-25 Notre Dame v. Georgia Top 23-10 Win 100 16 h 39 m Show

Notre Dame vs Georgia 8:30 ET

Fighting Irish (+) over Bulldogs- I just love what I see out of Notre Dame and if they didn’t own the worst kicking game in America they every well could have been undefeated (missed three field goals in loss to Northern Illinois). Georgia is not the same club that we have seen in recent seasons and their starting quarterback Carson Beck and he will be replaced by sophomore Gunner (got to love that name) Stockton. The Bulldogs are built around their powerful offensive line which will be matched by the Fighting Irish offensive and defensive fronts. Take NOTRE DAME!

01-01-25 Ohio State -132 v. Oregon Top 41-21 Win 100 17 h 17 m Show

Ohio State vs Oregon 5:00 ET

Ducks Buckeyes- This is  rematch of the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams for the most part of the season who get to play each other now because of the way CFP seeded the teams which was not by strength. These two met earlier this season and Oregon won the game 32-31 but failed to cover the spread as the Buckeyes got the money. Now, we have an undefeated (13-0) Ducks squad that has come up an underdog against a team that that have already beaten. Will Howard’s mental mistake at the end of the earlier meeting derailed any shot Ohio State had a winning as time expire while the Buckeyes had the ball on Oregon’s 25 yard line. After losing to Michigan for the fourth straight time as OSU coach Ryan Day may have to win it all to save his job.Take OHIO STATE!

01-01-25 Texas v. Arizona State +13.5 39-31 Win 100 16 h 37 m Show

Texas vs Arizona State 1:00 ET

Sun Devils (+) over Longhorns- I have been watching this Arizona State intently the entire season and they have played as hard and with intensity every week and have surprise everyone by winning the Big-12 title their first season in the conference. Texas I believe has been a bit over-hyped this season and they failed their biggest tests twice losing to a limited Georgia team that lost to Alabama and Mississippi. The Sun Devils has a great offense but the Longhorns have one of the toughest defenses  the nation allowing just 13.3 PPG. Despite the huge price on this game I believe the Sun Devils can surprise here. Take ARIZONA STATE!

12-31-24 Penn State -11 v. Boise State Top 31-14 Win 100 18 h 60 m Show

Penn State vs Boise State 7:30 ET

Nittany Lions (-) over Broncos- I just love this, the No. 6 seed is a double-digit favorite over the No. 3 seed that received an opening round bye. Penn State (10-2) the No. 6 seed is heavily favored over 11-1 Boise State. The Lions lost just twice this season to Oregon in the Big Ten title game and to Ohio State the co-favorites to win it all. The Broncos only loss was to Oregon 37-34 back in week 2 on September 7. I am having trouble with Boise being seeded No. 3 out of the Mountain West I mean if UNLV had defeated them in the title game they wouldn’t be in the tourney. A great running back yes but a great defense that plays on a higher level. Take PENN STATE!

12-31-24 Baylor -3.5 v. LSU 31-44 Loss -109 14 h 49 m Show

Baylor vs LSU 3:30 ET

Bears (-) over Tigers- This match up between Tigers and Bears has both squads at 8-4 and how they got there differed greatly. Baylor was off to a slow start and was 2-4 and after a 3-9 record last season I expected more of the same, but to my surprise the Bears reeled off six straight win are entertaining LSU is the Texas Bowl. LSU is telling everyone that they are not disappointed in being here in a lesser bowl but they are making too big a deal about it. Yes, it bothers them. Take BAYLOR!

12-31-24 South Carolina -8.5 v. Illinois 17-21 Loss -109 13 h 17 m Show

South Carolina vs Illinois 3:00 ET

Gamecocks (-) over Illini- Both of these clubs had identical 9-3 records and both were equally efficient against the number with South Carolina going 9-3 ATS and Illinois 8-3-1.With their performances so much on a parallel that the price seems so out of whack. It was under review that I saw that the Gamecocks lost to LSU posted a huge win over Arkansas and then fell to Mississippi and Alabama a game they should have won. Illinois closed the season with wins over Michigan State Rutgers and Northwestern. It will be a bit tougher today. Take SOUTH CAROLINA!

12-31-24 Alabama -14.5 v. Michigan Top 13-19 Loss -109 10 h 18 m Show

Alabama vs Michigan 12 :00 ET

Crimson Tide (-) over Wolverines- The I see it Michigan (7-5) was an overachiever which capped their season with their win over Ohio State. Alabama (9-3) is a bit disappointed that they are not playing on New Year’s Day but the trip and trip up at Oklahoma cost them. The Tide might have been looking ahead a bit as they had a match with arch rival Auburn the next Saturday (they won). It is only fitting that these two who both fell short are matched together as the both went to the Final-4 last season. This time...take ALABAMA!

12-30-24 Lions v. 49ers +3.5 Top 40-34 Loss -115 18 h 11 m Show

Detroit at San Francisco 8:15 ET

49ers (+) over Lions- Both of these clubs have been beset with injuries but only the Lions had the thorn removed from their paws. The Forty-Niners have not been so fortunate as they  have not been able to withstand the damage. Starting with Christian McCaffrey during the preseason San Francisco never got it going this year. In the last meeting between these two in the NFL Championship Game, Detroit built a 24-7 half-time lead only to falter in the second half losing 34-31 as the Niners went to blow their lead in the Super Bowl to the Chiefs. SF has lost 4-of-5 but will be ready to atone for an off-year this season. Take SAN FRANCISCO!

12-30-24 Iowa +3 v. Missouri Top 24-27 Push 0 12 h 25 m Show

Iowa vs Missouri 2:30 ET

Hawkeyes (+) over Tigers- Iowa enters his bowl contest winners four of their last five and are 8-4 on the year. Missouri (9-3) really expected more out of this season as they returned their entire offense. But the Tigers have had a number of players either opt out or had elective surgeries and this has hit the receiving core especially hard and will be without tow wide outs and a pair of tight ends. Iowa will be without their top running back but starting quarterback Brendan Sullivan will return from an injury suffered eight weeks ago against UCLA. Take IOWA!

12-29-24 Falcons +3.5 v. Commanders Top 24-30 Loss -108 22 h 22 m Show

Atlanta at Washington 8:20 ET

Falcons (+) over Capitals- (I hate being forced to call them by their newest nickname)- It is possible for Atlanta to clinch the division title with a win here and a Tampa Bay loss to Carolina. (good luck with that one, but there is still a chance) Washington can clinch a Wild Card spot getting them back into the layoff for the first time since 2020. This contest will feature two first round rookie quarterbacks as No. 1 over pick Jayden Daniels has given the DC’ers a chance and No. 6 pick Michael Penix will lead the Falcons as Kirk Cousins has been banished. Take ATLANTA!

12-29-24 Panthers v. Bucs -9 14-48 Win 100 15 h 59 m Show

Carolina at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET

Buccaneers (-) over Panthers- Despite a 4-game winning streak that ended last week when Tampa Bay fell to Dallas and now they are on the outside looking in at the NFL Playoff picture. The Buccaneers will be glad to see Carolina come to town as they have beaten the Panthers four straight times and eight of nine including a 26-23 OT win four weeks ago. Carolina broke a 4-game losing streak with a win at home over Arizona last week but are just 1-5 on the road. Take TAMPA BAY

12-29-24 Raiders v. Saints +2 Top 25-10 Loss -108 15 h 0 m Show

Las Vegas  at New Orleans 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Raiders- Do not get caught thinking that the Raiders should ever be favored on the road. No matter what you believe you saw that might make you think that they can win two games in a row. Hey, how about New Orleans...they open the season by scoring over 90 points in their first two games and then Carr when down so did the Saints. Last week was one of the more embarrassing game that they played this season. Look for a better effort at home against one of the NFL’s worst coached teams. Take NEW ORLEANS!

12-28-24 BYU +3 v. Colorado Top 36-14 Win 100 15 h 51 m Show

BYU vs Colorado 7:30 ET

Cougars (+) over Buffaloes- This has got to be the match-up of the day with both teams had great ATS seasons with BYU starting 9-0 SU and 6-0 ATS while Colorado is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall including a season ending 52-0 romp over Oklahoma State. In spite of great years by both clubs they fell short of their conference championship game. Their used to be a simple system for bowl games which simply to play against the team with the Heisman winner. The Buffs Travis Hunter will have all eyes on him but the money goes to the Cougars. Take BYU!

12-28-24 Iowa State +5 v. Miami-FL 42-41 Win 100 11 h 50 m Show

Iowa State vs Miami-FL 3:30 ET

Cyclones (+) over Hurricanes- Like Forrest Gump...stupid is as stupid does. Well, Miami is what Miami is! That team that does not win when it matters most. They blew a 21-point lead against Syracuse to rep the ACC in the conference Championship game and two weeks before that they blew a 10-point fourth quarter lead to Georgia Tech. The Cyclones have managed to keep all key players while still a number of Hurricanes have run to the transfer portal. Take IOWA STATE!

12-28-24 UL-Lafayette +10.5 v. TCU 3-34 Loss -115 10 h 32 m Show

Louisiana vs. Texas Christian 2:15 ET

Ragin Cajuns (+) over Horned Frogs- TCU won their last three games of the regular season and 5-of-6 losing only at Baylor by a field goal. The Horned Frogs enter their bowl battle with huge confidence but might overlook a team that drop their final 31-3. Both clubs lean on the passing game and that a wash but the Cajuns run the ball more effectively. This should not by any means be a rout. Take LOUISIANA!

12-28-24 Chargers v. Patriots +5.5 40-7 Loss -105 8 h 31 m Show

LA Chargers at New Engalnd 1:00 ET

Patriots (+) over Chargers- LA pulled off a much needed win against Denver last Sunday breaking a two-game mini slide while New England dropped their fifth straight game to Buffalo although the Bills had to fight for their lives after falling behind 14-0. The Chargers need but only to win here to clinch a playoff berth but those game clinching wins seem more difficult to achieve. With rookie quarterback Drake Maye growing each week at the position the Patriots will battle you until the final gun. Take NEW ENGLAND.

12-28-24 Connecticut +2.5 v. North Carolina 27-14 Win 100 6 h 13 m Show

Connecticut vs North Carolina 12:00 ET

Huskies (+) over Tar Heels- This is the worst North Carolina football that I have seen since before Lawrence Taylor was here or at least before Mac Brown. But, Brown got the boot and college bowl teams who have lost their coach entering a bowl game are 1-14 ATS the past four seasons. Connecticut is on the upswing and the trip to Boston from Storrs, CT will take about an hour. Take CONNECTICUT!

12-27-24 Texas A&M v. USC +4 31-35 Win 100 31 h 2 m Show

.

Texas A&M vs USC 10:30 ET

Trojans (+) over Aggies- Ah, Las Vegas where nothing ever happens as far as anyone is concerned, As I recall USC with their close proximity to Las Vegas Southern Cal’s programs have been here enough times that it is ‘old hat’ for them. But, bring out a military type bunch and give a chance to be a part of the ‘Vegas’ experience, well it can be distracting especially if you haven’t experienced it before, Aggies underachievers all season going 3-9 ATS while Trojans were 7-5. Take USC!

12-27-24 Texas Tech v. Arkansas +1 26-39 Win 100 28 h 38 m Show

Texas Tech vs Arkansas 7:00 ET

Razorbacks (+) over Red Raiders- This Big-12 and SEC matches a pair of second division clubs as Texas Tech placed seventh in the Big-12 and the Razorbacks were eleventh in the SEC. This is where the true test of a Conference strength is measured. Arkansas is looking to prove the SEC is still king but will be trying it with a depleted squad, but they are 29-8 lifetime over Tech. A number of front liners opted for the transfer portal and their be plenty of first time starters. That is not to say that the Red Raiders haven’t been hit hard as well but their QB did not opt out but will be sidelined. Take ARKANSAS

12-27-24 Georgia Tech v. Vanderbilt +3 27-35 Win 100 24 h 4 m Show

Georgia Tech vs Vanderbilt 3:30 ET

Commodores (+) over Yellow Jackets- At 6-6 it has been a great season for Vanderbilt who comes limping into this fray have lost their last three and four of five. Georgia Tech (7-5) has two  wins on their resume as the defeated No. 4 undefeated Miami and they beat No. 10 Florida State in their opener (who kew about FSU then?). But, the features win between these two this season has to be Vanderbilt’s 40-35 win over Alabama and their first win over Auburn in 11 years. A Commodores win in a bowl Friday would be their first win in over a decade. Take VANDERBILT!

12-26-24 Seahawks v. Bears +4 Top 6-3 Win 100 29 h 33 m Show

Seatte at Chicago 8:15 ET

Bears (+) over Seahawks- Well, we are all being treated to this special prime time viewing of Chicago’s No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams. We couldn’t be interested in the Bears or even the Seahawks because we really want to see is if this much tooted franchise pick has the good or not. Williams is raw but still may have an advantage over Seattle’s veteran QB Geno Smith. Geno has reverted back to his former self which is nit good and it appears he is hurting a bit. Take CHICAGO!

12-26-24 Rutgers +7 v. Kansas State 41-44 Win 100 6 h 9 m Show

Rutgers vs Kansas State 5:30 ET

Scarlet Knights (+) over Wildcats- After great starts to the season both of these clubs were disappointed in the way their season ended. Kansas State started 7-1 and was looking for a piece of the Big 12 championship games but closed by losing 3-of-4. Rutgers started the year 4-0 and then when conference play started lost four straight. So both of these teams expected more but ended up in Phoenix for the Christmas Holiday. Tough call be I believe the Knights have enough to get it done. Take RUTGERS!

12-25-24 Ravens v. Texans +6 Top 31-2 Loss -116 23 h 52 m Show

Baltimore at Houston 4:10 ET

Texans (+) over Ravens- Right off the bat I see that Baltimore has had their way with the Texans (10-2 all-time) winning the last four meetings and covering the last five including a 34-10 playoff win last January. The Ravens are rolling and Houston is reeling but thing may change real soon. Although the Texans are a bit banged up especially at receiver so the picked-up disgruntled pass catcher Diontae Johnson from the Steelers this week. The Ravens also have a heavy injury list that includes Flowers, Hill and seven others that did not make practice this week...a short week. Take HOUSTON!

12-25-24 Chiefs v. Steelers +2.5 29-10 Loss -100 12 h 15 m Show

Kansas City at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET

Steelers (+) over Chiefs- Kansas City has now ‘covered’ in victories their last two games after seven straight non-cover wins. It might appear that the Chiefs are gearing up for the playoffs but that is not the case as their offense has been rather bleak while their No. 3 defense has carried the load. Pittsburgh has dropped their last two games and returns home after losing at Baltimore (Power Play winner). KC has won the past three meetings but Pittsburgh had won six of the previous seven meetings. Steelers want it more...take PITTSBURGH!

12-22-24 Bucs v. Cowboys +4 Top 24-26 Win 100 20 h 35 m Show

Tampa Bay at Dallas 8:20 ET

Cowboys (+) over Buccaneers- ‘How ‘bout dem Cowboys’...yeah it’s been 4 decades since Dallas has advanced on the playoffs and now they don’t even advance into the playoffs themselves. Tampa Bay appears to be returning to the Playoffs and enter this fray with the knowledge of their previous struggles against Dallas. The Cowboys have won seven of the last 10 meetings and with the Buc’s having had four players leave last week's game against the Rams and not return and will also be AWOL this week. “boys have improved with Cooper Rush leading the way and have won 3-of-4. Take DALLAS!

12-22-24 Vikings v. Seahawks +3 27-24 Push 0 15 h 26 m Show

.

Minnesota at Seattle 4:05 ET

Seahawks (+) over the Vikings- This is a series where Seattle had won seven straight meetings until the Vikings posted a 30-17 victory the last time the met. Minnesota can still win out and receive a by in the playoffs but this will be a tough spot for them to do it. The Seahawks had their 4-game win streak stop at Green Bay last time out and I look for them to bounce back at home where they are 5-1. The Vikings have won seven straight game and that is where their winning streak ends at lucky number seven. Take SEATTLE!

12-22-24 Cardinals v. Panthers +5 30-36 Win 100 12 h 23 m Show

Arizona at Carolina 1:00 ET

Panthers (+) over Cardinals- Arizona now 7-7 broke a three game losing streak with a much needed win over lowly New England. The Cardinals may see Carolina (3-11) in the same light  as the Patriots but this Panthers team has shown huge improvement since the seasons start. Arizona won the last meeting but the Panthers had won the six previous meetings. This is the final home game of the season for Carolina and they enter this bout with four straight losses. But, the Rd Birds are in a ‘must’ win situation falling behind both the Seahawks and Rams and that added pressure leads to mistakes. Take CAROLINA!

12-22-24 Lions v. Bears +6.5 34-17 Loss -105 12 h 17 m Show

Detroit at Chicago 1:00 ET

Bears (+) over Lions-Detroit has won the four of the past five meetings the Bears have gotten the money in the past three. Chicago limps home after receiving their eighth straight defeat and they are looking worse week by week. One of those losses on Thanksgiving Chicago did get the money as they closed in a flurry failed to execute when it mattered most. It cost their head coach his job and this haven’t won a game since. Injuries are starting to have an impact on the lions defense and now also on offense. Take CHICAGO!

12-22-24 Eagles v. Commanders +4 Top 33-36 Win 100 12 h 24 m Show

Philadelphia at Washington 1:00 ET

Commandos (+) over Eagles- I don’t fully expect Philadelphia to pull the same stunt this season that they did last when after clinching the division title they went right into the tank losing six of their last seven including getting pounded in the Wild Card game. Last week the Eagles handled Pittsburgh in what they consider their own private and personal in-state rivalry. Washington is back in the saddle posting their second straight win at New Orleans after losing three straight. The Eagles have won the past three meetings and six of the last seven, but the former Redskins would cover as they are 5-2-1 ATS although falling short straight up. This time they get it all. Take WASHINGTON!

12-21-24 Tennessee v. Ohio State -7 Top 17-42 Win 100 23 h 13 m Show

Tennessee at Ohio State 8:00 ET

Buckeyes (-) over Volunteers- One way or another we will find out if Ohio State will ever catch up to the SEC. You see they are 2-12 SU versus the SEC and 3-11 ATS (thanks to ML Playbook). Tennessee has the No. 1 run defense in the country while the Buckeyes have the No. 1 scoring defense allowing just 10.9 points per game. OSU has not run the ball very well against Michigan and that is one of the reasons I like them here. No, not that they didn’t run the ball but because they lost to Michigan for the fourth straight year. If the Buckeyes do not make it at least to the CFP final Ryan’s Days are numbered. Take OHIO STATE!

12-21-24 Steelers v. Ravens -6.5 Top 17-34 Win 100 19 h 53 m Show

Pittsburgh at Baltimore 4:30 ET

Ravens (-) over Steelers- The surprising thing to me when previewing this match up is the way Pittsburgh has dominated the Ravens. they have swept the series the past two seasons and have won eight of the last nine meetings. An amazing stat is the the winner in each of the past six meetings has scored 16 twice, 17 twice and 18 twice 19 was also scored by the winner the previous season. all of the past eight meetings have gone under the total. So, with this line being the highest it has been in the last 20 meetings for the Ravens. The odds makers are down grading the Steelers and I will follow their lead. Take BALTIMORE!

12-20-24 Indiana v. Notre Dame -7 Top 17-27 Win 100 16 h 49 m Show

Indiana at Notre Dame 8:00 ET

Fighting Irish (-) over Hoosiers- I really am conflicted with this game and not with my logic but with my heart. I was looking forward to seeing what Curt Cignetti would do with Indiana after an incredible stint at James Madison which included a Nation Championship. Topping out with three wins last year the Hoosiers are 11-1 SU and importantly they were 9-3 ATS. Notre Dame sort of skated under the radar for a while after their loss to Northern Illinois hey are also 11-1 and an even more impressive 10-2 ATS as they were favored in all but their opening game at Texas A&M. I have been rooting for Indiana they whole season and I’ve seen the Irish evolve into a dominating power house. They lead the series 23-5-1 including 13-1-1 in South Bend and they have the best player on the field with running back Jeremiyah Love who hurt his knee in the final quarter against USC but is going to play. If healthy their is not the Hoosiers can do about it. Take NOTRE DAME.

12-19-24 Broncos v. Chargers -2.5 Top 27-34 Win 100 18 h 32 m Show

Denver at LA Chargers 8:15 ET

Chargers (-) over Broncos- The last time these two met on Oct. 13 Denver was riding a 3-gane win streak and the Chargers put an end to that with a 23-16 win as a 3-point road favorite. This time the Broncos are riding a 4-game win streak and the Chargers are about the same favored by three but this is a six-point turn around as they are now at home. Sean Payton has done a great job holding rookie QB Bo Nix under control while the Chargers are having issues on defense. Last week Tampa Bay racked up 40 points and 509 yard of total offense  the worst showing by the Chargers in three seasons. The rebound at home tonight! Take LA CHARGERS!

12-18-24 California +3.5 v. UNLV Top 13-24 Loss -109 9 h 1 m Show

LA Bowl 9:00 ET

California vs. UNLV

Golden Bears (+) over Rebels- This game brings a second place Mountain West squad UNLV (10-3) up against the 14th seed from the ACC California at 6-6 will should that they their level of competition is that much stronger. The Rebels lost their  head coach who after the defeat to Boise State left for Purdue within 36-hours while the Golden Bears had their quarterback leave in the transfer portal. But, there has been bigger changes from Las Vegas and the Bears take advantage. Take CALIFORNIA!

12-17-24 Memphis v. West Virginia +5 42-37 Push 0 25 h 32 m Show

Frisco Bowl 9:00 ET

Memphis vs West Virginia- Okay, it is the Frisco Bowl kicking off the NCAA post season in Frisco Texas. Oh yeah, Frisco,Texas so big it doesn’t need a sponser. West Virginia at 6-6 is a meager underdog to a team that is known for having an explosive offense and finished third in the ACC. Memphis QB Seth Henigan has 3,208 yards and 23 TD passes this season and led the Tigers to 10 straight wins. West Virginia finished 6-6 and lost their final outing to Texas Tech 52-15 which led directly to the firing of Neal Brown. Not such bad news as they rehired former head coach Rich Rodriguez who will have the Musketeers ready. Take WEST VIRGINIA!

12-16-24 Falcons v. Raiders +6 15-9 Push 0 18 h 10 m Show

Atlanta at Las Vegas 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Falcons- These two have lost 13 straight games between them with Las Vegas leading the way with nine straight losses with Atlanta still having a a way to go at four defeats. The Raiders were never considered as a playoff team but the Falcons were thought of as the team that was ready to take their divisions away from Tampa Bay. But, alas, they have shown too many weaknesses on both sides of the ball. The Raiders under Antonio Pierce are at a total loss but not for a lack of trying. Effort gets Las Vegas the money. Take LAS VEGAS!

12-16-24 Bears v. Vikings UNDER 44 12-30 Win 100 18 h 41 m Show

Chicago at Minnesota 8:00 ET

Bears/Vikings (UNDER)- There are 32 teams in the NFL and the Chicago Bears with their No. 1 draft pick Heisman winner Caleb Williams leading the way are dead last on total offense averaging just 288 yard per game.  Both clubs have gone under the total eight of 13 games and this should stay that way. Play UNDER!

12-16-24 Bears v. Vikings -7 Top 12-30 Win 100 18 h 42 m Show

Chicago at Minnesota 8:00 ET

Bears (+) over Vikings- Although Chicago has lost their last seven when a professional football team looks as bad as they did against the 49ers I just have to come back with them their next time out. The fact that they are playing Minnesota, a division rival that already defeated them in overtime three weeks ago. The Bears sent that one into OT by scoring 11 points in the final :22 seconds and totaled 400 yards on offense. These rivals split two games last season and I expect them to do the same here. Take CHICAGO!

12-15-24 Steelers v. Eagles -5.5 13-27 Win 100 12 h 49 m Show

Pittsburgh at Philadelphia 1:00 ET

Eagles (-) over Steelers- Enter game five after a beating by Tampa Bay the Eagles who lost six of their final seven in 2023 looked like nothing more than an also ran midland squad, but with a win Sunday Philadelphia would set a franchise record with 10 straight wins which would be their first in 92 years of football. Pittsburgh as an underdog under Tomlin have won 65 of 98 and are tough to beat when in this role. But, the Eagles have gone 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings including a 35-13 thumping in 2022. The line is strong which tells me that the Eagles soar here. Take PHILADELPHIA!

12-15-24 Bills +2.5 v. Lions 48-42 Win 100 12 h 48 m Show

Buffalo at Detroit 4:25 ET

Bills (+) over Lions- My first thought was that if the LA Rams could put up 457 yards against the Bills what would the Lions do with their potent offense. Buffalo lost 44-42 as Josh Allen accounted for all six touchdowns and carried his club as far as he could. Detroit’s defensive injuries continue to mount as they are playing people that just joined the team that week (this one included). Not to much in the way of previous meeting but the Bills have won the past four with the Lion win coming in 2006. Take BUFFALO!

12-15-24 Colts +4.5 v. Broncos 13-31 Loss -108 12 h 47 m Show

Indianapolis at Denver 4:25 ET

Colts (+) over Broncos- Talk about different quarterback styles the differences could not be more stark between Denver’s Bo Nix and Indianapolis’ Anthony Richardson. After opening the year0-2 the Broncos have won eight of 11 and right now is the final AFC seed for the playoffs. The Colts who at one time this season appeared to thrown in the towel but are ‘live’ at 6-7 with four games to go. Over the years Indy has had the best of the Broncos winning the last two meetings and seven of 10 both SU and ATS. Take INDIANAPOLIS!

12-15-24 Commanders v. Saints +7.5 20-19 Win 100 8 h 27 m Show

Washington at New Orleans 1:00 ET

Saints (+) over Commandos- Washington has been the most improved (along with Denver) this season compared to last when they won only four games. Heisman winner Jayden Daniels is the difference of course as his numbers bare this out. New Orleans is 3-1 under ‘new’ coach Darren Rizzi but will have a new quarterback under center as Derek Carr is out and Jake Haener is in and he is 14 of 29 passing 48%. The Saints have won the past three meetings and do it again. Take NEW ORLEANS!

12-15-24 Bengals v. Titans +5.5 Top 37-27 Loss -108 8 h 25 m Show

Cincinnati at Tennessee 1:00 ET

Titans (+) over Bengals-After ending a 3-game losing streak at Dallas the 5-8 Bengals are looking to win back-to-back games for the 2nd time this season. Cincinnati QB Joe ‘Cool’ Burrow is as good as they come and has 33 TD passes leading the NFL. Although he received a knee injury at the end of the Cowboys game and he is a bit distracted with his home being burglarized and he says he feels violated. Yeah, well, wait for the Titans No. 2 defense allowing just 291 YPG get a hold of him. Take TENNESSEE!

12-14-24 Navy +7 v. Army 31-13 Win 100 40 h 32 m Show

Army vs Navy 3:00 ET

Midshipman (+) over Black Knights- Great match-up that will have the nation’s attention as the pride of the military academies face off in Landover Maryland. Army at 11-1 has been installed as a favorite just under a touchdown and I really don’t know if they should be any more that a field goal if anything at all. Navy at 8-3 incurred their first loss to Notre Dame 49-14 as did Army losing 51-49. The next common opponent was Air Force and both won easily but, then came Tulane. Navy was blown out by the Green Wave 35-0 three weeks ago and rebounded with a win over E. Carolina, while the last time out the Cadets destroyed the same club Tulane 35-14. The Middies have had an extra week to get ready and will be! Take NAVY!

12-12-24 Rams v. 49ers -3 12-6 Loss -100 20 h 7 m Show

LA Rams and San Francisco 8:15 ET

49ers (-) over Rams- Up until the last two meetings which were Rams victories one at the end of last year and the other  starting this season the Niners had dominated the series winning eight of nine. LA has won six of eight including a Sunday win over Buffalo and they control their own destiny playing all three division rivals and the NY Jets. San Francisco at 6-7 is in the cellar and have been hit with way too many injuries to survive a full 17-game NFL season. 49ers will find Stafford a lot tougher to defend than anything the Bears could have sent their way last week, but they can still play defense. Take SAN FRANCISCO!

12-09-24 Bengals v. Cowboys +5 Top 27-20 Loss -108 6 h 57 m Show

Cincinnati at Dallas 8:15 ET

Cowboys (+) over Bengals- What a disappointing season it has been for both of these clubs who were expected to contend for at least a playoff spot which is now a moot point. Cincinnati has dropped three straight after their win against Las Vegas and head to Dallas to play the Cowboys who they have lost all five meetings over the past 15 years. The problem for the Cowboys is that they are playing with a sub-par quarterback while the Bengals have the quarterback needed but not much else. Both teams average 28.3 points a game but their defenses have been exposed. Joe Burrow has 30 TD passes and yet the Cats have only four wins. Take DALLAS!

12-08-24 Chargers v. Chiefs -3.5 Top 17-19 Loss -125 22 h 10 m Show

·

· LA Chargers at Kansas City 8:20 ET

· Chiefs (-) over Chargers- It’s getting to be that time...that time when the Chiefs start facing their games with a little bit more intensity. Granted Kansas City is 11-1 SU but the are a lackluster 5-7 ATS but they have won the last six meetings and 8-of-10 including a 17-10 win in LA on September 29. It has been the Chiefs defense that has carried them most of the year and now it is time for Mahomes to step up and he will. Take KANSAS CITY!

12-08-24 Bills v. Rams +3.5 Top 42-44 Win 100 18 h 27 m Show

·

· Buffalo at LA Rams 4:25 ET

· Rams (+) over Bills- Buffalo clinch their sixth straight AFC East title last week winning their seventh straight game while dismantling the 49ers. Los Angeles although just 6-6 is still in the thick of it in the NFC West along with Seattle (7-5) and Arizona (6-6). So, while the Rams are in need the Bills can rest on their laurels so to speak with a division clinching hangover. Take LA RAMS!

12-08-24 Jets +6 v. Dolphins 26-32 Push 0 15 h 57 m Show

· New York Jets at Miami 1:00 ET

· Jets (+) over Dolphins- After being grounded for the entire season the Jets are ready to take off without any pressure to win. No New York media, no fans screaming their heads off at you, just the salty scent of ocean mist with temperature in the 70’s. A scenery change that is so needed by this sputtering and stubbing over-rated, over-the-hill under-achievers called the New York Jets. The Dolphins have won the past three meetings and seven of the last eight but the New York coaching change has helped them win one of seven since Robert Saleh was given his pink slip but Rogers remains and will start. Take NEW YORK JETS!

12-08-24 Raiders +7 v. Bucs Top 13-28 Loss -115 14 h 10 m Show

Las Vegas at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET

Raiders (+) over Buccaneers- Tampa Bay last year’s division winner is tied with Atlanta at 6-6 with the Falcons holding the tie-breaker that will change the next time they meet. Las Vegas has lost eight in-a-row and are tied with the New York Giants with the worst record in the entire NFL at 2-10. The fact that Antonio Pierce was a player with the Giants and now coaches the Raiders has nothing to do with anything other than the Raiders should be good here! Good to break your heart, good to fumble at the worse time, good to commit a foolish penalty and good to cover today. Take LAS VEGAS!

12-07-24 Clemson +2.5 v. SMU 34-31 Win 100 27 h 36 m Show

Clemson vs. SMU 8:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Mustangs- When I look at this matchup I wonder ‘who is going to take Clemson’ aside for alumni or those that can not read a stat line or haven’t actually seen the Tigers play. Opening the season by getting pounded by Georgia (not as good as we thought) the Tigers also lost to South Carolina and Louisville but did defeat Citadel 51-14. SMU has won nine straight and the ACC newcomer will feel the rather of a prideful conference defender which is 7-0 SU in their last seven ACC Championship games going 6-1 ATS. Take CLEMSON!

12-07-24 Penn State +3.5 v. Oregon Top 37-45 Loss -109 27 h 33 m Show

Penn State vs. Oregon 8:00 ET

Nittany Lions (+) over Ducks- Once again we have an invader playing for a conference championship as Oregon tries to capture the Big Ten Championship s their inaugural season. Penn State managed to get here as a survivor after Ohio State (who is co-favorites with Oregon to win it all) fell to Michigan. Dillon Gabriel the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year will be James (Bend-over) Franklin has yet to show he can win the big game and this one qualifies. He is 1-12 with Penn State against Top-10 teams and 1-15 overall in his coaching career. But, the Lions have lost to OSU 20-13 while the Ducks defeated the Buckeyes 32-31. No matter, the point spread Gods are backing the Nittany Lions. Take PENN STATE!

12-07-24 Georgia +3 v. Texas 22-19 Win 100 23 h 37 m Show

Georgia vs Texas 4:00 ET

Bulldogs (+) over Longhorns- A great rematch of what was a Game of the Year winner for ‘us’ with Georgia winning 30-15 in first meeting as a 4-point underdog at Austin. Texas is ranked No. 2 in points allowed with just 11.7 PPG and No. 1 in total yards allowed with just 247 per game. Georgia hasn’t been anything close to what we expected and is just 3-9 ATS and needs and outright win here once again to get to the Final Dozen. The Bulldogs kept their championship hopes alive with a huge comeback win in 8 OT’s over Georgia Tech last week. Many have questioned the Longhorns strength of schedule and this is their chance to atone for their lone defeat. Sorry...take GEORGIA!

12-07-24 Iowa State +1.5 v. Arizona State 19-45 Loss -109 18 h 23 m Show

Iowa State vs. Arizona State 12:00 ET

Cyclones (+) over Sun Devils- No. 15 Arizona State exceeded all expectations by winning 10 of 12 after a 3-wins season in the Pac-12 in 2023. A newcomer to the Big -12 this is the Sun Devils first appearance in Arlington, Texas facing No. 16 Iowa State playing for their first conference championship since 1912. The Cyclones won their first seven his season became ranked and then stubbed their toes in consecutive losses against Kansas and Texas Tech falling out of the rankings. But, they recovered with three straight wins to get here. The Devils will be without outstanding receiver Jordyn Tyson whose 75 receptions and 1101 yards and 10 TD’s will be missed. Take IOWA STATE!

12-06-24 UNLV +5 v. Boise State Top 7-21 Loss -109 27 h 24 m Show

UNLV at Boise State 8:00 ET

Rebels (+) over Broncos- This game and what it means is what sports is all about. UNLV has been know for their basketball over the years but never has any of the football teams and their have been a few well maybe a couple that really deserved high praise, but the distance that the Rebels football program have move up the past 2-plus seasons in unusual for big time football schools let alone a school referred to as ‘Tumbleweed Tech.’ Still, with all their growth the Rebels are still playing catch-up to Boise State and have lost all seven meetings since 2011. But, the Broncos were any where from 23.5-point favorites to 43-point favorites and this line shows just how far the Rebels have closed the gap. With some Vegas luck they just might crack the final dozen. Take UNLV!

12-05-24 Packers +3.5 v. Lions Top 31-34 Win 100 21 h 29 m Show

Green Bay at Detroit 8:15 ET

Packers (+) over Lions- On a weekly basis with or without them playing well or not I have felt that this the Lions year. Not since Bobby Lane and Doak Walker appeared in four Championship games in six season has Detroit had this kind of talent. If these cats make it to the Super Bowl it will be their first appearance ever. It is getting difficult to keep the faith they way they have lost top impact defensive players that will be difficult to replace. To be in love with the Packers quarterback is a stretch right now as Jordan has not measured up to the personal level what many had hoped for and expected this season. Still, defense, running the ball and not turning it over will be a key. The Lions have tied the franchise record for wins for a season and it is a 17-game season with five more to go as they stand alone a top of the NFC standings. The Packers have won seven of eight with their lone blemish a home loss four weeks ago 24-14  to Detroit. Take GREEN BAY!

12-02-24 Browns +6.5 v. Broncos Top 32-41 Loss -108 9 h 26 m Show

Cleveland at Denver 8:15 ET

Browns (+) over Broncos- In the first week of September most would have bet that each would have the others record entering this fray. Denver was one of the worst in the NFL last season and is closing in on a playoff spot at 7-5 SU while Cleveland who was expected to contend for at least the division title is 3-8. But, the Browns have not quit  on the season and have had extra rest after upsetting Pittsburgh on a Thursday night. Take CLEVELAND!

12-01-24 49ers +6.5 v. Bills Top 10-35 Loss -110 18 h 4 m Show

San Francisco at Buffalo 8:20 ET

49ers (+) over Bills- With all the bad things going on with San Francisco they at least have the return of quarterback Brock Purdy (who many still don’t believe in) is questionable as of Saturday with an ailing shoulder. It doesn’t really matter as the Niners with need to control the ball and play solid defense while forcing Allen to throw it sooner than wanted. Bills have won six straight and are walking to the AFC East title. Take the points...SAN FRANCISCO!

12-01-24 Rams v. Saints +2.5 21-14 Loss -100 14 h 50 m Show

LA Rams at New Orleans 4:05 ET

Saints (+) over Rams- New Orleans new head coach Darren Rizzi is 2-0 breaking a seven game losing streak. There is an energy so to speak that that’s a 180 degree turn and it can become just as strong in the opposite direction. The Saints have gotten better as Derek Carr’s gotten healthy. Los Angeles was exposed last week by the Eagles and they reinvented Saint will go marching on. Take NEW ORLEANS!

12-01-24 Chargers v. Falcons +1 17-13 Loss -108 11 h 49 m Show

LA Chargers at Atlanta 1:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Chargers- I hate to do this because I always have a soft spot in my heart for the Chargers be they LA or San Diego and even more so now that it looks like they have two leaders. One in their coach and the other is how their quarterback Herbert has emerged more aggressive and focused. But, all clubs come to a time and place where things just don’t happen right and this game is in Atlanta  where the Falcons are waiting for prey after losing a pair on the road. Take ATLANTA!

12-01-24 Texans v. Jaguars +3.5 23-20 Win 100 11 h 47 m Show

Houston at Jacksonville 1:00 ET

Jaguars (+) over Texans-  Jacksonville has lost four straight while going 2-8 ATS in their last 10 including a 52-6 beat down at the hands of Detroit. Yet, Jaguars coach Doug Pederson who once denied he ‘fixed’ an outing with the Eagles says changes are coming. They sure are you piece of no integrity crap-man you will be gone. Lawrence return to keep it close. Take JACKSONVILLE!

12-01-24 Seahawks v. Jets +105 Top 26-21 Loss -100 11 h 46 m Show

Seattle at New York Jets 1:00 ET

Jets (+) over Seahawks- Believe it or not the Jets still believe that they can win out in their final six games and end up with nine wins which just might be good enough in this bottom feeder AFC. New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers will spend his final day as a 40-year-old as he turns 41 on Monday. Seattle is tied at the top of the NFC West having won their last two after dropping five of six once starting 3-0. So, the streaks continue or do we need for one to start. The Jets think so...Take NEW YORK JETS!

11-30-24 Texas v. Texas A&M +5.5 Top 17-7 Loss -109 18 h 2 m Show

Texas at Texas A&M 7:30 ET

Aggies (+) over Longhorns- I really like the position on this match-up. Texas A&M was de4feated by Auburn in overtime after batting back from a 21-0 deficit and then blew a 3-point lead with :04 seconds to go in the game. I was very pleased with the final score as it raised our college Megabucks record to 10-2 on the season. All the time the Aggies were getting blown-out I was thinking with Texas next that they were looking ahead but they managed to make a come-back only to fall short in the end. Not this week. Take TEXAS A&M!

11-30-24 Arkansas +3 v. Missouri 21-28 Loss -109 14 h 10 m Show

Arkansas at Missouri 3:30 ET

Razorbacks (+) over Tigers- Arkansas may only be only 6-5 on the season but their offense is ranked 0th in total yards. Missouri recovered from their 34-0 loss to Alabama with three straight wins and covers to make it 5-of-6 for both. The problem here for the Razorbacks is that they have never won at Missouri although the last two losses were by 2-points. Hogs gain a measure of atonement after last years beating. Take ARKANSAS!

11-30-24 Miami-FL v. Syracuse +11 38-42 Win 100 14 h 6 m Show

Miami at Syracuse 3:30 ET

Hurricanes (-) over Eagles- Conditions should be right with a game that is in what is now called JMA Wireless Dome and that suits a team from Miami just fine. Perfect conditions for one of the nation’s leading passers in the Hurricanes Cam Ward while Syracuse’s QB is no piker but Kyle McCord does not have the same supporting cast.

Take MIAMI!

11-30-24 Notre Dame v. USC +8 49-35 Loss -110 14 h 4 m Show

Notre Dame at USC 3:30 ET

Trojans (+) over Fighting Irish- I am one of the few that I speak with that even mentions Notre Dame making it to the title game. I believe they can because they play a solid turnover free sound running game. The loss to Northern Illinois set them back in everyone’s eyes and they have crawled their up back up the ladder. USC has a two game win streak while the Irish have covered seven straight but this game is special and ND has won seven of the past 10 and 4-of-5 meetings but they split the games against the points 5-5. This time it’s USC.

11-30-24 Rutgers +2 v. Michigan State 41-14 Win 100 14 h 3 m Show

Rutgers at Michigan State 3:30 ET

Scarlet Knights (+) over Michigan State- It is funny how things work out (in my mind at least) but knowing that Rutgers is under-rated and coming off a loss and Michigan State is not all that good and over-rated gives me my side. The Spartans need a win here to become bowl eligible while the Knights at 6-5 know that their season will be extended four weeks. Conditions are not to be ideal which will only aid the run game.

Take RUTGERS

11-29-24 Nebraska v. Iowa -3 10-13 Push 0 7 h 38 m Show

Nebraska at Iowa 7:30 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeys- Last week Nebraska became Bowl eligible with a win over Wisconsin for the first time since 2016. Iowa needs a win here to become bowl as they are one win shy as of now. After missing the past three games Iowa QB Cade McNamara (all losses) returns to action to team up with running back Kaleb Johnson and he is the Big Ten leader in touchdowns and rushing. Take IOWA!

11-28-24 Giants +3.5 v. Cowboys Top 20-27 Loss -111 15 h 13 m Show

New York Giants at Dallas 4:30 ET

Giants (+) over Cowboys- The Giants six game losing streak has them at the very bottom of the NFL not only record wise but in scoring as well averaging just 14.8 points per game. They cut Daniel Jones and went to Tommy DeVito at QB and he was destroyed to the point where Drew Lock most likely get the start.Dallas ended their losing streak with a win over hate rival Washington which eased the pressure for the Giants it mounts. Take New York GIANTS!

11-25-24 Ravens v. Chargers +3 Top 30-23 Loss -120 6 h 60 m Show

Baltimore at L.A. Chargers 8:15 ET

Chargers (+) over Ravens- It bothers me a bit that the Ravens are favored in the match-up as Los Angeles is coming into this fray with four straight wins and the Ravens are off a 18-16 loss at Pittsburgh following a. Baltimore’s two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson has 25 TD passes and just three interceptions but the Ravens will be without the NFL co-leader in tackles middle linebacker Roquan Smith and I think that is a huge loss. Black-birds have won the last four regular season meetings with the Chargers winning 23-17 the one time they met in the wildcard game in 2018. Harbough versus Harbough coaching makes for great  storyline except neither of these guys are very exciting but the both can coach. Chargers 4-1 SU at home and Monday night should help the home 11. Take LA CHARGERS!

11-24-24 Eagles v. Rams +3 37-20 Loss -116 18 h 58 m Show

Detroit at Indianapolis 1:00 ET

Colts (+) over Lions- Believe me this is not easy, writing up against the Lions that is. Unless something silly happens I believe that Detroit has the mojo and karma working to get to the Super Bowl, they certainly look like the best in the NFC right now with a minor threat for the Eagles. Thinking of the Colts it appeared that they gave up on the season and then decided to get into it as other teams with short comings and continued to lose (Jets, Bengals and Dolphins) and with the expended schedule and playoffs they are still alive at 5-6. Take INDIANAPOLIS!

11-24-24 Broncos v. Raiders +6 29-19 Loss -120 14 h 46 m Show

Denver at Las Vegas 4:25 ET

Raiders (+) over Broncos- Raiders very shaky as injuries pile up and confidence is at a Vegas low. Greg Minshew (the turnover machine) once gin get the nod at QB but is aware that the hook can come at anytime. Denver has been a huge surprise and has already surpassed the Vegas win total of 5.5 while the failing Raiders will go under their win total for the third straight year. Now, that doesn’t mean that they can win or at least cover the number here as they have had their way with Denver in the past winning eight straight before this seasons defeat. Take LAS VEGAS!

11-24-24 Lions v. Colts +7.5 24-6 Loss -118 11 h 47 m Show
