I think we see 44 to 47 points. Take the under in this CFL match set for Thursday night.

Thanks and GL.

12-12-21 Winnipeg -1 v. Hamilton Top 33-25 Win 100 6 h 41 m Show

10* Winnipeg -1

I think we see Winnipeg win by 4 points.

08-23-18 Edmonton v. Hamilton UNDER 57 Top 24-25 Win 100 35 h 9 m Show

10* under 57

Take the under on Thursday night. Hopefully, we see a score that reaches 50 to 55 points.

08-18-18 Montreal +17 v. Edmonton Top 24-40 Win 100 102 h 47 m Show

10* Montreal +17

Take the HUGE underdog to stay within 17.

07-27-18 Toronto +12 v. Winnipeg Top 14-40 Loss -125 82 h 38 m Show

10* Toronto +12

Take the underdog getting double digits. This was 9.5 earlier but is moving up.

06-28-18 Ottawa v. Calgary UNDER 57 Top 14-24 Win 100 9 h 38 m Show

10* under 57

11-26-17 Calgary -7 v. Toronto Top 24-27 Loss -110 45 h 1 m Show

10* Calgary -7

Calgary has won the 5 meetings by 16, 17. 18, 28 & 12 points. Toronto fell behind in the semis and made a nice comeback but I think Calgary wins by 10.

11-19-17 Edmonton v. Calgary -5 Top 28-32 Loss -110 40 h 56 m Show

10* Calgary -5

This should be quite a game. Edmonton played well last week but Calgary is at home and off a bye with a chance to get healthy.

I was looking at this trend for Sunday's second game: teams with a better record in the playoffs off a bye playing a team that played and won last week on the road have been 5-0 ATS, average score 36.2-16.4. Take Calgary -5.

11-12-17 Edmonton v. Winnipeg UNDER 56 Top 39-32 Loss -110 98 h 59 m Show

10* under 56

The playoffs are here. I hope there is plenty of pressure to slow down the scoring. The last 20 meetings have produced 13 unders, 6 overs and one push. The last meeting ended in the upper 40's. I like under 56.

11-03-17 Winnipeg v. Calgary UNDER 51.5 Top 23-5 Win 100 14 h 38 m Show

10* under 51.5

Cold weather should effect this game as well as back up QB's. I hope to see a game in the 40's that stays under.

10-27-17 Hamilton v. Ottawa -6.5 Top 36-41 Loss -105 5 h 58 m Show

10* Ottawa -6.5

Most have Ottawa at -7. Hamilton has played well lately but Ottawa is at home and should be motivated. I think Ottawa wins by 10 to 14.

10-14-17 Toronto +7.5 v. Edmonton Top 27-30 Win 100 32 h 29 m Show

10* Toronto +7.5

Toronto is available at +7 or +7.5 with some juice. Toronto is 3-1 in their last 4 and led by QB Ricky Ray as he completes around 68%. James Wilder has averaged around 7 yards per carry. Edmonton won big last week but are just 1-6 in their last 7. Edmonton may win but I like the Argonauts to stay within 7.

10-09-17 Edmonton v. Montreal +9 Top 42-24 Loss -125 15 h 27 m Show

10* Montreal +9 (-125)

Most books have this at +7.5. Both teams have losing streaks but Montreal is at home. This game is being played at 2 pm eastern on Monday so keep that in mind. I like the home dog getting over a touchdown.

Thanks and good luck on Monday!

10-06-17 Hamilton v. Winnipeg UNDER 57.5 Top 30-13 Win 100 22 h 11 m Show

10* under 57.5

I like the under on Friday. Hopefully, we see Hamilton struggle to score and it ends in the 50-55 range.

09-29-17 Saskatchewan -3 v. Ottawa Top 18-17 Loss -110 10 h 1 m Show

10* Sask -3

Saskatchewan is off a low scoring loss to Calgary, who is the best team in the CFL. They have won 2 of their last 3 road games and led by QB Kevin Glenn, who has completed 69% of his passes. I like the visitors to win and cover.

09-24-17 Calgary v. Saskatchewan UNDER 54.5 Top 15-9 Win 100 17 h 38 m Show

10* under 54.5

The last 3 meetings have seen 37, 29 and 50 points. Calgary has a solid defense and their last 5 games have ended with 40, 47, 57, 30 and 38 points. I hope the home team struggles to score and we see just 50 to 53 points.

09-23-17 Montreal v. Toronto -6.5 Top 19-33 Win 100 19 h 17 m Show

10* Toronto

Toronto is 4-2 at home while Montreal has not won on the road. Toronto has a solid defense and won by double digits in the last meeting.

09-22-17 Ottawa v. Winnipeg -7 Top 9-29 Win 100 35 h 23 m Show

10* Winnipeg -7

Winnipeg is off a bye and stand 8-3 and won their last game 48-28. Ottawa is under .500 and has QB issues. Take Winnipeg on Friday night.

09-16-17 Edmonton -1 v. Toronto Top 26-34 Loss -120 40 h 10 m Show

10* Edmonton -1

Most places do have this at -2.5 so we hope for a 3 point win on Saturday.

Edmonton 30

Toronto 24

09-09-17 Saskatchewan v. Winnipeg -1.5 Top 28-48 Win 100 91 h 60 m Show

10* Winnipeg -1.5

These two just played and Saskatchewan won at home 38-24 but Winnipeg is 7-3 and had won their previous 5 before the loss. Winnipeg won the last two meetings at home. They are 12-2 ats in their past 14 vs. winning teams and I look for them to bounce back this week.

09-04-17 Edmonton +12 v. Calgary Top 18-39 Loss -125 98 h 35 m Show

10* Edmonton +12

Calgary is a good CFL team but Edmonton is a solid club as well. I think there is value in taking Edmonton and getting +12.

09-03-17 Winnipeg v. Saskatchewan UNDER 61 Top 24-38 Loss -110 28 h 32 m Show

10* under 61

The total is set at 60.5 or 61 for this game on Sunday. This is a high total for a CFL game. I hope to see a game in the 31-28 (59 points) range. All it takes is for one team to only reach 21 and we have an under.

Thanks and good luck........

08-26-17 Toronto +10 v. Calgary Top 7-23 Loss -110 29 h 2 m Show

10* Toronto +10

Calgary may be looking ahead to next week's game. They have beaten Toronto the past two times by a decided margin and may overlook them. Calgary QB Bo Levi Mitchell is probable but may not be 100%.

Toronto's QB (Ray) had 4 TD's and one interception last week. Whitaker is a solid runner who had 88 yards last week.

I think we see Toronto stay within 10 on Saturday.

Thanks and good luck......

08-24-17 Winnipeg v. Montreal Top 34-31 Win 100 55 h 10 m Show

10* Winnipeg pick'em

Most places have the line at -1 on Tuesday when I write this. The visitors are 6-2 and beat Montreal by one earlier at home. Winnipeg is 14-3 ats on the road in its last 17 and led by QB Matt Nichols. Harris ran for over 100 yards in their last game and they have won 4 in a row. Montreal is 1-8 ats in their last 9 on Thursday and 5-11 ats in their last 16 home games. Take Winnipeg.

08-17-17 Edmonton v. Winnipeg UNDER 59 Top 26-33 Push 0 55 h 20 m Show

Edmonton vs. Winnipeg

8:30pm Thursday

#351/352

10* under 59

In the CFL, any total above 58.5 the unders are 24-8 (75%). I base this play mostly on that. Edmonton has played unders in 5 of their last 6 on Thursday. The under is5-2 in the last 7 meetings and under has prevailed 13-6-1 in the past 20 meetings in Winnipeg. Edmonton scores average 53 ppg while the home team is at 66 ppg. Hopefully, we see a game in the mid 50's that stays under.

Most sportsbooks have this total at 58.5 so be sure to shop around.

08-13-17 BC v. Saskatchewan Top 8-41 Loss -125 127 h 41 m Show

Saskatchewan at BC

7pm August 13

#377/378

10* BC (pick'em)

BC is off a 37-26 road loss and returns home. They have defeated the visitors 41-18, 24-6, 40-27, 46-20 and 27-24 in the last five meetings. Saskatchewan is 0-3 on the road and 5-13 ats in their last 18 road games and 3-9-1 ats in the last 13 at BC. Take BC.

08-05-17 Saskatchewan v. BC -7 Top 15-30 Win 100 20 h 19 m Show

10* BC -7

BC is off a loss but was 4-0 before that. They beat Saskatchewan by 18, 13 and 23 points last year. I expect the Lions to bounce back from a loss and win by 10 to 14.

08-04-17 Winnipeg +3.5 v. Ottawa Top 33-30 Win 100 19 h 1 m Show

10* Winnipeg +3.5

This should be a close game. I think the visitors can stay within 3 and cover.

08-03-17 Calgary -4.5 v. Toronto Top 41-24 Win 100 44 h 4 m Show

10* Calgary -4.5

I hate taking road favorites but Calgary is 19-7 ats in their last 26 August gamesand won the past three meetings by 31-13, 48-20 and 27-15. They are off a 60-1 win. They are 4-1 while Toronto is 3-3. Toronto is 8-21 ATS in their last 29 games. I like Calgary by 7.

07-29-17 Hamilton v. Calgary UNDER 56 Top 1-60 Loss -110 35 h 45 m Show

10* under 56

These two have played unders in 21 of their last 29 meetings. The total has moved to around 55 to 56. Both teams have nice records but I am hoping to see one played good defense and the game end with around 50 to 54 points scored. Take the under on Saturday.

07-27-17 Montreal +3.5 v. Winnipeg Top 40-41 Win 100 22 h 32 m Show

Montreal +3.5

I like Montreal at +3.5 as we should see a close game set for Thursday. Hopefully, we see the Alouettes win outright.

07-24-17 Ottawa v. Toronto UNDER 55.5 Top 24-27 Win 100 44 h 26 m Show

10* under 55.5

The last 4 meetings ended with 51, 41, 43 and 50 points. Ottawa had some high scores but their past few reached 43, 44 and 51 while Toronto's game have totaled 58, 51, 43 and 57. Hopefully, we see just 54 or less.

07-21-17 Winnipeg +9 v. BC Top 42-45 Win 100 104 h 29 m Show

10* Winnipeg +9

Take the underdog. These two met three times last year and the games were close, won by just 1, 2 and 3 points. Winnipeg QB (Nichols) should make enough plays for the visitors to stay within a touchdown.

07-14-17 Ottawa +6 v. Edmonton Top 21-23 Win 100 103 h 11 m Show

10* Ottawa +6

Ottawa is 0-2-1 but lost by one and four points. They played well vs.Edmonton in the past few seasons and are 17-6 ats as a dog in the past 23 games. Edmonton is 1-8- ats in their last 9 as a favorite of -4 or more. Edmonton is 2-0 but their wins were by 3 and 4 points. I hope to see a 28-25 type of score on Friday.

07-07-17 Calgary v. Winnipeg OVER 56 Top 29-10 Loss -110 102 h 45 m Show

10* over 56

I usually like to suggest unders when totals get above 55 but these two have played high scoring games so far. In the past 10 meetings at this venue we have seen 6 overs, 2 unders and 2 pushes. Winnipeg has gone over in 7 of its last 8 games.

The teams are led by quarterbacks. There is  Bo Levi Mitchell as he has 5 TD's without an interception. The other QB is Matt Nichols and he has 4 TD's with just one int. Calgary is 1-0-1 with a 31-31 tie and a 43-39 score.

I hope we see both teams continue to score and allow points. Take the other.

06-30-17 Montreal +9 v. Edmonton Top 19-23 Win 100 103 h 51 m Show

10* Montreal +9

Take the road underdog getting 9 points. The spread on the other two games going Friday night is just 1 point. I think we see the road team stay within 8 points.

06-29-17 Ottawa +9 v. Calgary Top 39-43 Win 100 4 h 21 m Show

10* Ottawa +9

I like the underdog getting as much as +9.

Ottawa 21

Calgary 28

06-22-17 Saskatchewan +7 v. Montreal Top 16-17 Win 100 20 h 54 m Show

10* Sask +7

Early in the year I like going with underdogs especially if the spread is a touchdown.

08-13-16 Calgary v. Saskatchewan UNDER 55 Top 19-10 Win 100 68 h 22 m Show

10* under 55

08-06-16 Edmonton v. Ottawa UNDER 58 Top 20-23 Win 100 126 h 21 m Show

10* under 58

These two played a high scoring game earlier this year but 58 is one of the highest totals this season in CFL action. All it takes is for one team to struggle to score and we see a game in the range of 30-23 that stays under.

07-14-16 Edmonton v. Winnipeg UNDER 55 Top 20-16 Win 100 20 h 7 m Show

10* under 55

This is the highest totalof the week. I thinkit ends with 50-54 points scored.
