The LA Dodgers have quickly tied the San Francisco Giants in the NL West, making this weekend’s series extremely important. San Francisco’s Anthony DeSclafani has had immense issues at home against the Dodgers this year. Yet look for the Giants to get back to their winning pedigree as David Price has not won a start since July 4th. Friday, the Seattle Mariners head into a new series against the Diamondbacks after an off-day Thursday. They’re coming off two solid wins over the Houston Astros as hefty underdogs. Thursday, look for the Atlanta Braves to cash as sizable road favorites over the Colorado Rockies. Rockies pitcher Chi-Chi Gonzalez is not comfortable extending the second time through an opponents lineup. Lay the price here on a Braves team that should be hungry for a win after three straight close road losses to the Dodgers. 

Thursday, the Kansas City Royals will aim to avoid being swept at home against the Cleveland Indians. On the mound for the Royals will be veteran Mike Minor. Minor has struggled as the Royals have lost five straight games that he has started, including consecutive in extra innings. Monday, the Tampa Bay Rays and Red Sox will meet for their fifth series this season. Red Sox pitcher Nick Pivetta has struggled in recent starts, but has been above average against the Rays. Four outings this year Pivetta has not allowed a run, with two of those being against Tampa Bay. Take the underdog Red Sox to end the Rays seven game win streak.

Two unsteady pitchers will take the mound in Ryan Weathers for San Diego and Jose Suarez for the Angels. Incentive Saturday is in favor of the Padres who look to regain ground in the Wild Card race. Friday, the Atlanta Braves ended the San Francisco Giants five-game winning streak thanks to big home run by Jorge Soler. Confidence is on the Braves side after rattling the Giants bullpen yesterday. Take the Braves as the San Francisco Giants sustain a rare losing streak.

Post All-Star break the Milwaukee Brewers have been sensational at avoiding losing streaks beyond two games. Furthermore, they’ve been sensational at bouncing back from a loss in which they scored one run. They’ve lost three times in which they scored one run post All-Star break, and won the following game each time. Take the Brewers to take care of the Twins.

Friday, the Atlanta Braves have a golden opportunity to take advantage of consecutive off days. Furthermore, starting pitcher Max Fried has won all starts in the month of August, and allowed just two runs total. Take the Braves to end the Giants five game win streak.

Thursday, the Yankees will begin the first of seven road games in the state of California. Oakland comes in having lost four straight and eight of their last ten. A combination of poor hitting and bullpen issues have plagued Oakland. Although pitcher James Kaprielian has been stellar at home with a 1.47 ERA, the As issues in the latter innings will continue to haunt them. Back the Yankees.

The San Diego Padres and LA Dodgers delivered yet another thrilling game Wednesday, with the Dodgers pulling it out in extra innings. A primary concern for Thursday is with Padres pitcher Yu Darvish who had his worst outing of the season his last start against the Diamondbacks. Yet, on the year he has been stellar in three starts against the Dodgers. Take the Padres to bounce back Thursday.

Tuesday, the Mets and Giants will meet for the second time in a week. At San Francisco last week the Giants won two of three. The lone victory for the Mets came with today’s starting pitcher on the mound in Tylor Megill. Megill pitched effectively allowing just one run, in the 6-2 victory. Back the Mets as they improve to 37-23 at home.

Over Lance Lynn’s last five starts he has failed to pitch beyond five innings in three. Other apparent signs of fatigue have shown as his strikeout rate has declined, along with a rise in pitches per inning. In the month of July he averaged 17 pitches per inning, which has rose to 21 in August. Take the Blue Jays to snap out of their recent funk.

The Oakland As will aim to win the final game of their road series against the Chicago White Sox. They’ll face former AL West Texas Rangers pitcher Lance Lynn. On the year against AL West opponents Lynn is 0-3, with losses against the Angels, Mariners, and Astros. Furthermore, each outing were Lynn’s top three shortest of the season as he lasted just 4.2, 4, and 3 innings. Take the big underdog here on the As.

After consecutive days of poor losses the Detroit Tigers find themselves as home underdogs Wednesday against the Angels. Yet, for the month of August Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal has not allowed a run in two starts. Additionally, at home Skubal has won outright or covered on the run line in seven consecutive starts. Amidst several injuries the San Diego Padres will utilize Matt Strahm to begin Tuesday’s game against the Rockies. Tuesday, the Brewers continue their third straight road series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Pitching for the Cardinals will be Adam Wainwright who is coming off a complete game shutout over the Pirates. He’s also been magnificent with St. Louis winning five of his last six outings against the Brewers. Yet, look for yesterday’s off day to be beneficial for the NL Central leaders led by pitcher Corbin Barnes. Take the Brewers.

Monday, the Chicago White Sox will begin a new series against the Oakland As. It will be Dallas Keuchel’s first game against a non-divisional opponent post All-Star break.  Expect that to be beneficial for Keuchel as he has just one win since June 15th. Monday, the Atlanta Braves continue their road trip in a new series against the Miami Marlins. The Braves have been one of the hottest teams in baseball, which has catapulted them to the division lead in the NL East. Expect their momentum to continue as the Marlins four-game win streak comes to a halt against the octane Braves.

Friday, featured one of the strangest ninth innings on the year in MLB between the Blue Jays and Mariners. Seattle stole the win as big underdogs with a bases loaded walk off victory. Yet, Saturday night look for the Blue Jays to snap out of their two game funk of three runs or less against lefty Yusei Kikuhi. Play the Blue Jays.

Friday, Astros pitcher Zach Greinke will aim to get his first road win since July 4th. To do so he will need to make pitch far better against an Angels team that he gave up a season-high ten hits against on April 23rd. Look for the Astros Friday success to pay dividends. Since the end of May they are 5-0 in road games on Friday’s, with each win by two runs or more. Take the Astros.

Thursday, the San Francisco Giants should not have any issues building on the best record in MLB. They’ll take on a Colorado Rockies team that is just 13-42 on the road. The Rockies have also struggled at the plate with just one run in their past two games against the Astros. Furthermore, they are just 1-5 on the year at Oracle Park. Lay the price on the Giants. 

The red-hot Atlanta Braves are suddenly in a first-place tie in the NL East with the Philadelphia Phillies. Thursday, they’ll aim to complete a three-game sweep over the Cincinnati Reds. After a disheartening extra inning loss yesterday against the Braves, expect an uptick in performance today. With Vladimir Gutierrez on the mound the Reds have won six of his last seven road starts. The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox come into Tuesday after having Monday off. This series is an opportunity for the Red Sox to chip away at the Rays three game divisional lead. Led by starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez look for the Red Sox to get back on track. He’s becoming more consistent in particular with his strikeouts, as he had a season-high ten in his last outing against the Tigers. Grab the Red Sox Tuesday. 

Rockies Friday starting pitcher German Marquez is still not back to his All Star form. Yet, he did gain some confidence in his last start, as he held the Padres to just two runs and registered a win. Look for Marquez to get his walk rate back under control as the Rockies dominance at home continues against the Marlins. Play Colorado.

The Detroit Tigers resurgence post All-Star break has featured a 13-6 record. Friday they’ll head on the road to take on the Cleveland Indians, who are hoping to end a three game losing streak. In each of Indians pitcher Cal Quantrill last four starts he has given up just one run. Yet, the Indians have lost three consecutive starts from Quantrill from a lack of run support. After scoring no runs yesterday against the Blue Jays, look for problems at the plate to continue for Cleveland. Back Detroit.

A common theme for the Atlanta Braves is the inability to get to or over the .500 mark. Yesterday’s win over the St. Louis Cardinals puts them at 53-54. Tuesday, the Boston Red Sox were flat as they scored just two runs against the Detroit Tigers. The loss marked a season-high fifth straight for Boston. Expect that streak to end today as Eduardo Rodriguez has been one of the top pitchers in MLB for run support. Over his last ten starts the Red Sox have averaged seven runs. Grab Boston. 

Monday, the top team in MLB in the San Francisco Giants will travel to take on the worst team in the Arizona Diamondbacks. As poor as the Diamondbacks overall record is at 33-73, they have played .500 baseball post All Star break with a 7-7 record. Take the Diamondbacks with Giants pitcher Anthony DeSclafani coming off a poor outing against the Dodgers. 

Phillies pitcher Ranger Suarez last action was against today’s opponent in the Washington Nationals. The difference today is he will start against the Nationals versus concluding the game as he did on Thursday. That puts Suarez in a tough spot as he gave up two hits and a walk on Thursday. Sunday night baseball features a key matchup between the Rays and Red Sox for first place in the AL East. Thus far the Rays have dominated the weekend series with wins Friday and Saturday. Yet, Red Sox pitcher Nick Pivetta has fared well against the Rays this season. In two starts he has pitched twelve innings allowing only two hits and zero runs. This included his best road outing of the year on June 24th in which he did not surrender a hit. Back the Red Sox.

The Colorado Rockies stunned as big underdogs in consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday. The victories marked the seventh time in the last nine matchups that the Rockies have defeated the Padres. Oddly enough one of the matchups the Padres defeated the Rockies was on July 9th with today’s spot starter in Reiss Knehr. Back the Padres today as San Diego bounces back without Fernando Tatis Jr. in the lineup. 

Friday, the Colorado Rockies stunned the San Diego Padres for a rare road win. There has been only one occurrence all season that the Rockies have won two straight road games. On the dates of July 10th and 11th the Rockies won both road games against the Padres. Tonight’s starting pitcher for the Rockies in German Marquez pitched seven scoreless innings on July 11th to defeat the Padres. Back the Rockies to get their thirteenth road win tonight. 

The Milwaukee Brewers continue to distance themselves in the NL Central as they’ve won six of their last seven. Their surge has been sparked at the plate as they’ve scored six or more runs in all nine of their wins post All Star break. As inconsistent as the Braves have been they have not lost consecutive home games since June 15-16. Take the Braves.

Thursday, the Colorado Rockies lost the opener 3-0 to the Padres. That dropped their road record to 11-39 but there is value for Friday. Prior to last night’s loss the Rockies had won five of the last six against San Diego. In fact, one of their eleven road wins occurred with tonight’s exact pitching matchup of Jon Gray and Ryan Weathers on July 11th. In a similar priced underdog spot back the Rockies.

A days rest for the Astros has dwindled Friday’s price against the San Francisco Giants. On the season after a day off the Astros are just 1-5 in road games. With as hot as the San Francisco Giants are that trend should continue. Back the Giants to stay hot as Kevin Gausman bounces back from two rough outings post All-Star break.

Thursday, Hyun Jin Ryu will aim to bounce back from his second shortest outing of the season on July 24th. The ten hits Ryu gave up were his highest allowed on the year. Yet, the Blue Jays won that start and Ryu’s last three overall. Ryu has also been effective against the Red Sox this year as he pitched seven innings without allowing a run on May 18th. Take the underdog Blue Jays. 

A price decline on the Dodgers today is a value spot against the Giants. Although David Price is nowhere near past levels the Dodgers can make up for it at the plate. Last night they found their rhythm which was missing the past three games. In a quick turn around from last night take the Dodgers to win this road series over San Francisco. 

The Dodgers dropped another game to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. It was the fourth out of five times that the Giants have defeated the Dodgers in over a week. Yet, look for the Dodgers to snap out of their mini funk at the plate against Anthony DeSclafani. DesClafani’s worst start at home this season occurred on May 23rd against the Dodgers, in which he allowed nine hits and ten runs in 2.2 innings. Grab the Dodgers.

With a win Wednesday the Braves would be back to .500 at 51-51. The last time the Braves faced the Mets with Max Fried on the mound was on June 30th. The Braves ended up having their most lopsided victory of the season, 20-2. Take Atlanta as this is the third time pitcher Tylor Megill has seen the Braves in his seven starts.

Wednesday inexperienced pitcher Nestor Cortes will be on the mound for the Yankees opposed veteran Michael Wacha of the Rays. Cortes has not pitched more than 4.2 innings in any outing this year. A positive though is both of Cortes prior starts on July 4th and July 9th the Yankees won. Take the underdog Yankees as Michael Wacha has surrendered eight home runs his last four starts. 

Over Oakland’s last thirty games they have faltered at just 12-18. Monday’s off day was a chance to refocus for the As as they continue their road trip Tuesday against San Diego. For how well the Padres have been at home at 33-19, a weak link has been pitcher Chris Paddack. His home ERA of 6.94 should help the As build an early lead. The Kansas City Royals thrived as home underdogs for the fourth straight day Monday. Tuesday look for the White Sox to settle back in and showcase why they are the top team in the AL Central at 59-41. They’ve dominated the division and should have no issues halting the Royals six game streak with Brad Keller on the mound. Play the White Sox. 

The Rockies won on the run line in consecutive nights against the Dodgers and on the money line Friday. Those close results has placed value against their All Star pitcher in German Marquez as they continue their road trip against the Angels. Throughout his career Marquez has been a streaky pitcher. In his last start he allowed seven hits, which were his highest in six starts. Capitalize against him for a second consecutive start post All-Star break. 

The Washington Nationals continue to slide as they have lost four straight. Monday they will battle an NL East divisional opponent in the Philadelphia Phillies, with Joe Ross returning from the injured list. Ross has not pitched since July 4th, and likely won’t be over extended today. Look for the Phillies to capitalize in the latter innings against the Nationals bullpen that has struggled as of late. The Milwaukee Brewers are looking to complete a three-game weekend series sweep over the Chicago White Sox. Friday and Saturday’s wins featured both dominating pitching and hitting at the plate. Tonight will not be as easy against White Sox veteran Lance Lynn. Yet the run support will be lacking as the White Sox have scored two runs or less in three straight. Back the Brewers. 

White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito is coming off his first complete game of the 2021 season against the Astros. Expect issues facing a Brewers team that’s lost consecutive games and is rested after having Thursday off. In what may be a low-scoring game look for All Star Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta to out-duel Lucas Giolitio. Play the Brewers. 

Thursday the Tampa Bay Rays made a questionable move acquiring Nelson Cruz from the Minnesota Twins. Friday they remain on the road as they continue their road series against the Cleveland Indians. Rays pitcher Josh Fleming just saw this Indians team on July 7th when he pitched 2.2 innings. Look for his familiarity to help offset the command issues seen in his recent start against the Braves. The LA Dodgers won in walk off fashion Tuesday night, 8-6, completing an incredible come back against the San Francisco Giants. The win propelled the Dodgers to an impressive 31-15 record at home. Look for momentum to continue Wednesday as the Dodgers have won four straight starts with Julio Urias pitching. Grab LA.

Monday featured several blowouts on the diamond, one of which were the Detroit Tigers 14-0 victory over the Texas Rangers. The loss marked the third game in a row that the Rangers were shutout. In fact they have not scored a run since Friday’s loss to the Blue Jays. Expect their bats to bounce back as they’ve provided pitcher Dane Dunning an average of nine runs his last three starts. German Marquez of the Rockies made his first All-Star appearance thanks to his incredible efficiency at home. He’s sustained just one loss at Coors Field on the year but this is a vulnerable spot for the Rockies. The Seattle Mariners defeated the Colorado Rockies in this same scenario of a Monday off day for both teams on June 22nd. Look for the Mariners to topple Marquez’s dominant home streak as big Tuesday underdogs.

Rangers All Star pitcher Kyle Gibson has had a full twelve days off since his first loss of the season on July 7th. That loss was against today’s opponent in the Detroit Tigers, as Gibson matched a season-high in earned runs allowed with five. Perhaps more troubling for the Rangers is they were shutout in both of yesterday’s doubleheader games against the Blue Jays. Back Detroit to hand Gibson his second loss of the season.

Tonight marks the fifth matchup between the Mariners and Angels since July 9th. Friday night the LA Angels came close to rallying in the ninth inning with three runs but fell short, 6-5. Expect the Angels to challenge Mariners pitcher Yusei Kikuchi’s road ERA of 2.68 as he lasted just four innings against the Angels on June 5th. Back LA

Saturday, the Atlanta Braves will turn to starting pitcher Max Fried against the Tampa Bay Rays. Fried has had his ups in downs this season, but the Braves have won his last three home starts. Expect enough of a runs cushion for the Braves to hold off the Rays late. Back Atlanta. 

In the last leg of Saturday baseball we will secure value on the Mariners. Seattle took game one yesterday against the Angels thanks to scoring the final seven runs. Although the Angels have won Patrick Sandoval’s last four home starts, the Mariners have excelled at win streaks especially at home. Back the Mariners. 

One of the more impressive stories of the first half of the MLB season has been Reds pitcher Wade Miley. Miley has an ERA of 3.06 and the Reds have won six of his last seven starts. Today he’ll be opposed Brewers pitcher Eric Lauer who has struggled in both of his starts against the Reds this year. Back the slight underdog Reds to defeat the NL Central leaders.

The Houston Astros boosted their win streak to five games on Tuesday, as they came from behind to win 9-6 over the As. Wednesday, Oakland will turn to veteran Sean Manaea who has won three of his past four regular season starts against Houston. Yankees pitcher Jameson Tailon’s struggles have not disappeared, but he has received high run support his last two starts. Against the Royals the Yankees scored eight runs and in Tailon’s last outing they scored eleven against the Angels. Mariners left handed pitcher Justus Sheffield has not won a home start since May 28th. Grab the Yankees to continue to provide high run support for Tailon.

Heading to All-Star break one of the teams that has dipped have been the Oakland As. They are just 4-7 over their last eleven games, and Tuesday they’ll face divisional rival in the Houston Astros. Expect the Astros to continue to attack the As recent weak spot in their bullpen to offset dominant starter Chris Bassitt. Take the Astros.

Monday, the Minnesota Twins will have a chance to redeem themselves after losing the prior three series to the White Sox. Overall they’ve lost eight of nine games to the White Sox including losing all three last week. In a nationally televised game expect Dylan Cease’s road ERA of 6.08 to continue to climb. Friday, the Seattle Mariners scored four late inning runs against the Rangers bullpen and were able to win in extra innings. They’ve now defeated the Rangers in all five home matchups this season. Expect another win on the horizon tonight with Rangers pitcher Jordan Lyles high road ERA of 5.10. Back Seattle.

Friday, the Boston Red Sox will aim to continue their upward momentum. They’ve won seven straight games with consecutive series sweeps over the Yankees and Red Sox. Seek the value on the Red Sox as Eduardo Rodriguez has averaged over nine runs of support his last five starts. Grab the Red Sox as Frankie Montas struggles continue.

The New York Mets stormed back Tuesday scoring four runs in the seventh inning to defeat the Braves, 4-3. Wednesday, they find themselves big underdogs once again against Braves top pitcher Max Fried. Over Fried’s last six starts he has had a zig zag pattern of wins and losses. Braves pitcher Charlie Morton has been dominant for the month of June, but also has seen a steep rise in his pitch count. Adbert Alzolay’s last outing in California was not a good one against the Padres. Tonight he’ll have the prime time spot against the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw. A blunder can occur even against a poor team in baseball. That was the case Saturday as the Padres bats went cold and sustained an unfathomable loss to the Diamondbacks. The LA Dodgers have lost four consecutive games and were no hit by the Cubs Zach Davies and bullpen Thursday. Thursday, the St. Louis Cardinals will aim to end a prolonged slump that includes a three-game losing streak. They’ll face a Pittsburgh Pirates team that has won outright or on the run-line in five straight games. Road starts have been unfriendly for Indians pitcher JC Mejia. Thus far in the month of June the Indians have lost all three of Mejia’s road starts. Furthermore, Mejia’s first outing of the season was a 10-0 loss to the Twins. That’s placed value on the Indians today as Jose Berrios has lost his last five starts against Cleveland. Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Rays will look to end a seven game losing streak. The streak has been exacerbated because of extra inning failures by the Rays, as their last three losses were in extra innings. With Red Sox pitcher Garrett Richards struggling don’t expect this one to go into extra innings. Back the Rays. 

The New York Mets still have one of the best MLB home records at 21-8. Tuesday they’ll take on a Braves team that has failed to get enough traction to get back over .500. Yet, look for the Braves to take advantage two-fold against Marcus Stroman and the Mets who struggles to get run support at home in his starts. Back the Braves. 

Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal has seen improvement in his young career as of late. Yet, the St. Louis Cardinals come having had Monday off, and also did not play Saturday due to a postponed game against the Braves. Last season Skubal lasted just two innings in his worst career start, and surrendered six runs to the Cardinals. Back St. Louis. 

Monday, the Twins won in extra innings over the Cincinnati Reds 7-5. It marked their fifth straight win, and for the Reds it was their fifth straight loss. Tuesday will mark the Reds last game of a nine-game road trip. An early start time of 1PM EST and an off day tomorrow for the Reds spells another sluggish performance. Back the Twins here.

The last time the Dodgers faced the Padres they blew a Sunday night prime time 7-1 lead. Monday, they’ll see Yu Darvish for the third time and get to catch him in non peak form. Monday, the Cincinnati Reds will embark on their eighth straight road game against the Minnesota Twins. They’ll face struggling pitcher JA Happ who has seen his ERA balloon to 6.12. Expect the Reds to break through as Happ has allowed eight or more hits in all of his June starts. Back the Reds. 

Monday, the Oakland As travel in to face the Texas Rangers after a road series against the Yankees. On the mound for the Rangers will be veteran Kyle Gibson. Gibson has not surrendered more than three runs in any of his last twelve starts. Back the home underdog here as the Rangers bullpen holds. 

The Atlanta Braves Drew Smyly will likely have a short leash tonight based on his ERA over seven at home. Yet, with the Cardinals woes as of late look for the door to be left open for an Atlanta Braves rally. The Tampa Bay Rays continue to lose on the road and have now suffered five straight losses. The string have been by a multitude of factors but today offers a high chance to end the streak. Shana McClanahan may have lost his last time out but showed signs of his May form when the Rays won all his starts. Look for a good game from the Rays at the plate and the high road price to pay off. The Arizona Diamondbacks continue to defy what rock-bottom can be for a professional baseball team. They were shutout Friday 3-0 which marked their fifteenth straight loss. In their last eight shutout losses they’ve lost the following game each time. Furthermore, they have not scored more than two runs in five prior matchups this season against the Dodgers. The Colorado Rockies are on a season-high five game win streak, and are second in baseball with twenty-five home wins. Yet, Saturday the advantage should go to the Milwaukee Brewers. Friday, the White Sox will look to bounce back after losing the series opener to the Astros 10-2 on Thursday. It was their biggest loss of the season in terms of run differential and the second-highest runs they’ve allowed. Expect the White Sox to bounce back led by ace Carlos Rodon. Back the White Sox as slight road favorites.

The Chicago White Sox head to Houston having won six of their last seven games. Yet, they’ve had a home friendly schedule as today will mark their first non-divisional road game since May 23rd. Grab Houston to win their fourth straight game.

The Tampa Bay Rays success on the road has correlated to an MLB best 43-24 record. Tuesday, they are a small underdog based on Shane McClanahan’s 9.95 ERA in the month of June. Yet, look for the Rays at the plate to provide strong run support for McClanahan which should settle the 24 year old in. In a battle of a veteran pitcher vs a first year starter grab Tampa Bay.

Taiquan Walker has been one of the top offseason additions based on performance for the 2021 season. Over his last four home starts he has allowed just one run in nineteen innings. The Chicago Cubs should be able to change that as they gave Walker his worst outing of the season at home on April 20th. Issues with his command led to six walks and an early exit after 3.2 innings. The Boston Red Sox had their worst loss in five years Sunday 18-4 to Toronto. The loss happened by leaving relief pitcher Ryan Weber in for an extended amount of innings before they closed out the game with position players. Look for a fresh bullpen to be available, and the Red Sox offense to deliver a bit of payback against Alek Manoah. Grab the Red Sox. 

This is strictly a value play for me. Just seven days ago the Padres were a home underdog against the Mets with Joe Musgrove on the mound. Now they’re favored against a Mets team that is 16-5 at home. That tells me something, along with the fact that the Mets struggle to provide run support for Stroman at home as they’ve averaged just 2.25 runs.

The Oakland As are coming off a questionable Thursday loss to the Kansas City Royals. Six runs by the Royals in the 7th and 8th innings were the difference. Expect that confidence to carry over tonight as the As have followed a home loss with an additional loss five straight occurrences. Play Kansas City.

Friday, the Seattle Mariners will embark on their third consecutive series on the road against the Cleveland Indians. They’ll face an Indians team that they defeated in three of four games in mid-May. The Indians have also lost five straight Friday’s all by two runs or more. Play Seattle.

Thursday, the Blue Jays are the road favorite against the White Sox and Dallas Keuchel. Expect veteran Hyun Jin Ryu to shake off his last outing of allowing six earned runs against the Astros. Weak competition in the AL Central is the main reason the White Sox lead MLB with a 24-11 home record making Thursday an attractive price on Toronto. Tuesday and Wednesday the Houston Astros took advantage of a Red Sox team that did not have Monday off. Thursday, look for a different outcome as the Red Sox are facing an Astros team playing their sixth straight road game. Furthermore, value exists as Eduardo Rodriguez is a cheaper price than he was as a road favorite against the Astros on May 31st. Grab Boston. 

Wednesday, the St. Louis Cardinals will attempt to end their longest losing streak since July 2013. Having lost six games in a row, they’ll have a prime opportunity today as the Indians start relief pitcher Jean Carlos Mejia. With the Indians needing heavy use from their bullpen, look for the Cardinals to finally deliver. Grab St. Louis

A current nine game road trip for the New York Mets has shortened Wednesday’s price offering. Matt Harvey’s issues on the mound will prevent the Orioles from building off winning five of six. Thus far, Harvey’s ERA is 6.62 and he had his worst start this year against the Mets on May 12th. Back the Mets 

Alex Wood’s struggles continue to compound for the San Francisco Giants. San Francisco has lost his last three starts, and he is coming off his worst start of the season against the Angels. Grab the Rangers in a buy low spot after losing eleven of twelve. Play Texas

The Houston Astros were stout in last week’s home series winning three of four over the Red Sox. Pitcher Framber Valdez delivered ten strikeouts in his victory over the Red Sox, and has a fresh arm with this being his third start of the year. Back the Astros to end the Red Sox five-game win streak.

Monday, the Padres will seek payback against the Cubs as they were swept last week. On the mound for the Cubs will be Adbert Alzolay. With just sixteen career starts, Alzolay has never pitched in a late game on the west coast. Look for the Padres to take advantage seeing Alzolay for the second time in less than a week. Rookie pitcher Jackson Kowar will make his debut for the Kansas City Royals tonight against the LA Angels. While Kowar may struggle, the Royals should be able to provide run support. Dylan Bundy has allowed seven home runs over his last three starts, and is winless on the season. Back the underdog Royals.

For the second time in five games the Seattle Mariners allowed twelve runs in yesterday’s loss to the Angels. With a quick turn around money line value has soared on the Angels side. Yet, with Patrick Sandoval on the mound the Angels have failed to score a run in consecutive starts. Take the big underdog here in the Mariners today. 

Saturday, Clayton Kershaw will face the Atlanta Braves for the first time since last season’s game four 10-2 NLCS loss. He’s coming off his worst start of the season in which he had a 7.50 ERA against the San Francisco Giants. The outing marked four games in a row he has surrendered a home run, which is a main factor into today’s short price. Back the home underdog here in the Braves.

The New York Yankees are 0-4 against divisional opponents with pitcher Jameson Taillon on the mound. Expect Boston to finally deliver some run support for pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez, as they’ve been outscored 29-5 his last four starts. Take the Red Sox to drop the Yankees to 3-9 over their last twelve games.
