02-15-22 | Stars v. Avalanche -245 | 4-1 | Loss | -245 | 12 h 48 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Avs average an incredible 4.3 goals per game, outscoring opponents by 1.8 goals on average while going 21-4 here at home this season. Interestingly, the Stars are a woeful 2-15 when heading out on the road following a home game over the last two seasons, outscored by an average margin of 2.0 goals in that situation. They're also 0-6 when playing on the road off a home loss against a division opponent over the same stretch, outscored by 1.8 goals on average in that spot. |
02-14-22 | Blackhawks v. Jets -155 | 3-1 | Loss | -155 | 12 h 27 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Jets have earned five of a possible six points in three games since the All-Star break, as the club is pushing to get back into the postseason picture. An extended stretch of home games would seemingly be ideal, though the Jets are a modest 11-8-1 on home ice this season. One of those home wins came in the Jets' first meeting with the Blackhawks, a 5-1 Winnipeg victory on Nov. 5. The Jets held a 33-18 shots advantage that night, in what was the Blackhawks' lowest shots total of the season ... until Chicago faced off against the St. Louis Blues last Saturday. That game saw the Blackhawks manage only 16 shots in a 5-1 road loss in St. Louis, as Chicago interim head coach Derek King said his players "weren't prepared" for the Blues' attack. |
02-13-22 | Sabres -112 v. Canadiens | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 3 h 2 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Montreal Canadiens are still in search of their first win under new coach Martin St. Louis as they host the Buffalo Sabres today. The Canadiens are 0-2 under St. Louis, who replaced Dominique Ducharme on Wednesday. They came close to snaring a point on Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but that was snatched away when Patrik Laine scored with seven seconds left in regulation. Montreal is 0-7-2 in its past nine games while getting outscored 47-20 during that stretch. Saturday's 2-1 defeat marked the first time since Dec. 16 that they've allowed fewer than three goals. Consider that the Sabres are 6-2 in the last 8 meetings. |
02-12-22 | Hurricanes v. Wild +109 | 2-3 | Win | 109 | 10 h 45 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Carolina has collected just three of a possible six points through its first three games of this post-break road trip. The Canes were fortunate to catch the Bruins without both Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron on Thursday, ultimately winning that game by a 5-0 score. Here, we'll note that the Wild check in a long-term winner at 123-76 when playing at home after scoring one goal or less in their previous game, outscoring opponents by an average margin of 0.6 goals in that situation. Minnesota has of course been outstanding at home this season, going 14-4 while averaging 4.6 goals per game and outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 1.6 goals. |
02-12-22 | Jets v. Predators -195 | 5-2 | Loss | -195 | 9 h 47 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Jets are 2-7 in their last 9 games as an underdog, 2-7 in their last 9 vs. a team with a winning record, and 2-8 in their last 10 overall. While the Predators are 38-13 in their last 51 vs. a team with a losing record, 23-9 in their last 32 home games, and 10-4 in their last 14 vs. Western Conference. |
02-12-22 | Bruins -145 v. Senators | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 2 h 23 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Bruins are 12-3 in their last 15 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game, 10-4 in their last 14 road games, and 11-5 in their last 16 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. While the 12-25 in their last 37 games as an underdog, 19-40 in their last 59 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation, and 17-36 in their last 53 vs. Eastern Conference. |
02-11-22 | Seattle Kraken v. Ducks -145 | 4-3 | Loss | -145 | 5 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Ducks are healthy and rested after a break of a week and a half. They are a good home team and have overachieved this season, with a couple of dynamic scorers, solid goal-tending and very good PK/PP. Having weathered a considerable period on the road, it is time for them to be looking at a play-off spot. The Kraken are unnerving to wager against as their sporadic wins can come anywhere, and at any time, but they are poor on the road, and do not match up well vs the Ducks special teams. The Kraken are off a loss and have an injury-ridden defensive corps at the moment. They don’t defend well at the best of times. This one should be all Anaheim. |
02-10-22 | Capitals -210 v. Canadiens | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 5 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Capitals are 50-20 in their last 70 games as a road favorite, 110-48 in their last 158 vs. Atlantic, and 13-6 in their last 19 vs. Eastern Conference. While the Canadiens are 10-41 in their last 51 overall, 5-21 in their last 26 vs. a team with a winning record, and 3-13 in their last 16 vs. Metropolitan. |
02-10-22 | Blue Jackets v. Sabres +103 | 4-3 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 15 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Blue Jackets are 2-5 in their last 7 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game, 12-33 in their last 45 games following a win, and 3-9 in their last 12 games playing on 1 days rest. While the home team is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings. |
02-09-22 | Predators +100 v. Stars | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 40 m | Show

Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Kings are 5-1 in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest, 1-3 in their last 14 vs. Atlantic, and 21-8 in their last 29 vs. Eastern Conference. While the Red Wings are 18-39 in their last 57 vs. Western Conference, 53-116 in their last 169 overall, and 29-74 in their last 103 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. |
02-02-22 | Oilers v. Capitals -106 | 5-3 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 34 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Oilers are 3-8 in their last 11 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game, 2-6 in their last 8 road games, and 1-4 in their last 5 vs. Metropolitan. While the 11-5 in their last 16 games playing on 0 days rest. In addition, the Oilers are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings in Washington while the home team is 18-6 in the last 24 meetings. |
02-01-22 | Flames -115 v. Stars | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 32 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Flames are 9-3 in their last 12 games playing on 2 days rest, 5-2 in their last 7 games as a favorite, and 18-8 in their last 26 when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their previous game. While the Stars are 12-25 in their last 37 games as an underdog and 2-5 in their last 7 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. |

While the Bruins are 11-3 in their last 14 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game, 24-9 in their last 33 vs. Pacific, 10-4 in their last 14 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 25-10 in their last 35 games as a home favorite. |
01-31-22 | Ducks v. Red Wings -102 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 58 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Ducks are 7-17 in their last 24 Monday games and 10-24 in the last 34 meetings in Detroit. While the home team is 48-23-1 in the last 72 meetings. |

01-30-22 | Seattle Kraken v. Rangers -185 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 47 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Rangers let a 2-0 lead slip away versus Minnesota and lost 3-2 Friday. In that game it also looked like New York had tied the game in the waning seconds but the goal was waved off. The Rangers will definitely be ready to go after a loss like that and they will take advantage of facing one of the weaker teams in the NHL. Of course this is why they are a nearly 2 to 1 favorite here on the money line. |
01-29-22 | Canucks v. Flames -180 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 37 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Canucks are 6-15 in their last 21 games as an underdog, 2-6 in their last 8 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game, and 2-6 in their last 8 vs. a team with a winning record. 01-29-22 | Golden Knights v. Lightning -130 | 3-2 | Loss | -130 | 9 h 45 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Golden Knights are 2-5 in their last 7 overall, 1-4 in their last 5 games as an underdog, 1-4 in their last 5 vs. a team with a winning record, and 1-5 in their last 6 games playing on 1 days rest. While the Lightning are 46-19 in their last 65 games as a favorite, 70-29 in their last 99 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 125-59 in their last 184 overall. |
01-29-22 | Devils v. Hurricanes -300 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show

While the Hurricanes are 7-0 in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest, 42-12 in their last 54 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 40-17 in their last 57 games following a win. |
01-29-22 | Sharks v. Panthers -300 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Sharks are 10-21 in their last 31 vs. a team with a winning record, 7-18 in their last 25 Saturday games, and 1-4 in their last 5 games as a road underdog. While the Panthers are 41-10 in their last 51 games as a home favorite, 40-11 in their last 51 home games, and 38-18 in their last 56 overall. |
01-28-22 | Wild v. Rangers +133 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
Rating; 2 Units Good value here with the home dog as the Rangers are in the 2nd game of a back to back and I am aware of the Adam Fox injury. However, New York fell short at Columbus last night despite doubling up the Blue Jackets in shots on goal 36 to 18. Georgiev was in goal and he has been struggling but Shesterkin has been fantastic and I expect that to continue tonight on Friday as the Rangers current #1 netminder should be back patrolling the crease tonight. The Rangers, prior to last night's loss, had won 9 of 12 games. The Wild have been hot but still have lost 6 of last 12 games including 4 of last 6 played away from home. We have solid home dog value here and I won't pass up on this one. |
01-27-22 | Predators v. Oilers -106 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 46 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Oilers are 10-2 in their last 12 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game and 16-6 in their last 22 vs. Western Conference. In addition, the Favorite is 14-5 in the last 19 meetings while the home team is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. |

While the Blue Jackets are 5-12 in their last 17 vs. Metropolitan, 18-44 in their last 62 games as an underdog, and 6-15 in their last 21 vs. a team with a winning % above .600. |

While the Red Wings are 6-0 in their last 6 games as a home favorite and 5-0 in their last 5 vs. a team with a winning % below .400. |
01-26-22 | Ducks v. Maple Leafs -270 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Ducks are 23-49 in their last 72 games as an underdog, 4-9 in their last 13 overall, and 11-25 in their last 36 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game. While the Maple Leafs are 23-8 in their last 31 overall, 11-4 in their last 15 vs. Western Conference, and 38-14 in their last 52 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. In addition the Ducks are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings in Toronto. |
01-26-22 | Flames -180 v. Blue Jackets | 6-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 23 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Calgary is nine points out of first place in the Pacific Division, but they have five games in hand on the 1st place Vegas Golden Knights. They come into Columbus as winners of two of their last three, and they scored a whopping 12 goals in those wins. The Flames are 6-2 in their last eight games as a road favorite, and they have a favorable history versus the Blue Jackets. The road team is 15-5 in the last 20 meetings, and the Flames are 4-1 in their last five at Columbus. The Blue Jackets are 1-5 in their last six home games, and 6-15 in their last 21 overall. |
01-25-22 | Predators -160 v. Seattle Kraken | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 12 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Predators are 10-1 in their last 11 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, 11-2 in their last 13 games following a win, and 8-2 in their last 10 vs. Western Conference. While the Kraken are 7-15 in their last 22 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game, 3-9 in their last 12 home games, and 4-17 in their last 21 vs. Western Conference. |
01-25-22 | Oilers -125 v. Canucks | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 4 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Oilers are 9-2 in their last 11 vs. Pacific and 15-6 in their last 21 vs. Western Conference. While the Canucks are 2-5 in their last 7 overall, 2-5 in their last 7 vs. a team with a winning record, and 2-6 in their last 8 games as an underdog. In addition the Oilers are 8-3 in the last 11 meetings. |

While the Hurricanes are 19-7 in their last 26 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game, 46-18 in their last 64 vs. Western Conference, and 61-28 in their last 89 games as a favorite. |
01-24-22 | Blackhawks v. Avalanche -290 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Blackhawks are 16-41 in their last 57 games as a road underdog, 15-39 in their last 54 vs. a team with a winning record, and 8-22 in their last 30 vs. Central. While the 60-22 in their last 82 overall, 36-15 in their last 51 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 35-16 in their last 51 vs. Western Conference. |
01-24-22 | Kings v. Rangers -155 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Rangers have undoubtedly had this rematch circled since dropping a 3-1 decision in a rather lifeless performance in Los Angeles back on January 10th. Now they're at home, where they just disposed of the Coyotes by a 7-3 score on Saturday and check in 12-5, averaging 3.4 goals per game and outscoring opponents by an average margin of 1.0 goal here at MSG. Note that the Rangers have averaged 3.8 goals while outscoring opponents by 1.1 goals on average the last nine times they've come off consecutive contests in which they allowed three goals or more, as is the case here |
01-23-22 | Kings -130 v. Devils | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 29 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Kings are 5-0 in their last 5 games following a home loss of 3 or more goals, 4-0 in their last 4 games as a favorite, and 4-0 in their last 4 vs. Metropolitan. While the Devils are 15-31 in their last 46 home games, 18-38 in their last 56 vs. Western Conference, and 18-41 in their last 59 games as a home underdog. |
01-22-22 | Flames -115 v. Oilers | 3-5 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 55 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units As the Edmonton Oilers prepare to play host to the Calgary Flames on Saturday, they're hoping rock bottom already has been reached. OThanks to a 6-0 loss to the Florida Panthers on Thursday, the Oilers have dropped their last seven outings -- five in regulation time -- and are on a 2-11-2 skid after starting the season with a 16-5-0 mark. Consider that the Flames are 6-1 in their last 7 games as a road favorite. While the Oilers are 18-40 in their last 58 games as a home underdog. In addition the favorite is 16-6 in the last 22 meetings. |
01-21-22 | Blues -184 v. Seattle Kraken | 5-0 | Win | 100 | 13 h 48 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Blues went 4-1-0 on their just-completed homestand, including a 2-1 victory against the Kraken on Jan. 13. St. Louis trailed 1-0 after two periods in that game, but Pavel Buchnevich netted the winner on a power play at 5:30 of the third. Buchnevich has since been in the virus protocol but is expected to return for today's game. Consider that the Kraken are 8-20 in their last 28 overall. |
01-21-22 | Wild v. Blackhawks +120 | 5-1 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 21 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Minnesota has been idle since Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to Colorado, which ended a three-game winning streak. The Wild fell behind 2-0 after one period but remained persistent behind goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen, who made 35 saves. Kevin Fiala got Minnesota on the board with a goal 33 seconds into the second period. Chicago also is eager to erase the sting of a shootout loss in its most recent game. Unable to maintain a one-goal lead entering the third period, the Blackhawks fell 3-2 at Seattle, ending a four-game winning streak. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 35 shots for Chicago and was brilliant as the Kraken controlled the pace during overtime. Fleury also turned aside a Jared McCann penalty shot in the third period. Consider that the Wild are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Chicago. |
01-21-22 | Coyotes v. Islanders -240 | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 10 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The New York Islanders hope to continue their long climb back into playoff contention Friday night when they host the Arizona Coyotes in the opener of a seven-game homestand in Elmont, N.Y. The Islanders' month-long losing streak overshadowed their unveiling of a long-awaited new arena and put them into a major hole in the standings. They are playing much better of late, however, and get a chance to go over the NHL version of .500 for the first time since early November. Upon ending their 11-game losing streak on Dec. 7 with a 5-3 win at Ottawa, the Islanders are 8-3-1 in their past 12 games -- and are 5-1-0 in their last six. Consider that the favorite is 17-5 in the last 22 meetings. |
01-21-22 | Stars v. Red Wings -105 | 5-4 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 25 m | Show
Rating; 2 Units The Detroit Red Wings will be the fresher team when they host the Dallas Stars today. Detroit hasn't played since Monday afternoon, when it rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period to defeat the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in overtime. That completed a four-game, season-series sweep, including a shutout two nights earlier in Detroit. The Stars will be playing the second game of a back-to-back. Consider that the Stars are 8-20 in their last 28 road games. While the home team is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings. |
01-20-22 | Sharks +108 v. Seattle Kraken | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Kraken won their last game, but don’t look for it to become habit-forming; they are 1 and 9 in their last 10 games. The Kraken have been keeping their goals-against totals down lately, but are missing a couple of key pieces on offense, and do not score very often, with just 12 goals-for in their last 6 games. Other than an outburst of 6 goals in their last game, the Sharks don’t score either, with just 16 goal-for in their previous 6 games. None the less, they have kept games close with the good teams and are winning against the lesser lights. Their defense is middle of the back, an improvement over Seattle’s 30th ranking. I like the Sharks’ chances here and the odds are favorable. Take the Sharks to win. |
01-18-22 | Canucks v. Predators -125 | 3-1 | Loss | -125 | 9 h 14 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Canucks are 1-4 in their last 5 games as an underdog, 1-4 in their last 5 games as a road underdog, and 2-9 in their last 11 when their opponent allows 5 goals or more in their previous game. While the Predators are 20-7 in their last 27 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation, 21-8 in their last 29 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 41-16 in their last 57 vs. a team with a losing record. |
01-18-22 | Hurricanes +120 v. Bruins | 7-1 | Win | 120 | 8 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the 4-1 in their last 5 games as a road underdog, 4-1 in their last 5 road games, 40-12 in their last 52 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 25-10 in their last 35 overall. |
01-18-22 | Jets v. Capitals -124 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Jets are 3-9 in their last 12 games as an underdog, 6-18 in their last 24 vs. Metropolitan, and 1-4 in their last 5 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. While the Capitals are 19-7 in their last 26 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation, 15-7 in their last 22 Tuesday games, and 39-19 in their last 58 games as a favorite. In addition, the Jets are 6-20 in the last 26 meetings in Washington. |
01-16-22 | Canucks v. Capitals -185 | 4-2 | Loss | -185 | 1 h 56 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Only one game today and both teams are playing the back end of a back to back. I was originally gonna lay off this game but the Caps are getting Dimitry Orlov and Carl Hagelin out of COVID protocol and will have their full defense. Canucks have now lost 3 straight and they are missing a couple players today including their backup goalie. So either Thatcher Demko makes a second start in two days or the Canucks go with a third stringer they just called up. I like the Caps at home. |
01-14-22 | Stars v. Panthers -198 | 1-7 | Win | 100 | 9 h 6 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Dallas won a wild home game vs. Florida about a week ago, but the Stars have just four road wins and are missing a couple of their top-six forwards. Florida is a Terminator at home with just three losses and also nearly at full strength from COVID/injury. We're taking this early because I expect it to be north of -200 by the morning. |
01-13-22 | Canadiens v. Blackhawks -197 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 12 h 23 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units As of this writing, the Blackhawks are the only home team Thursday priced under -210 or so -- let's just take it now before it rises/comes off the board ahead of Montreal playing tonight in Boston with a very depleted roster. It should be third-string Sam Montembeault in net for the Habs, and he's an ugly 1-6-0 with a 3.98 GAA. Hawks netminder Marc-Andre Fleury shut out Montreal a few weeks ago for his 500th career win. |
01-13-22 | Devils v. Islanders -188 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Going to make a few NHL plays on lookahead lines because there are so many big favorites on Thursday and I think these numbers will only rise. New Jersey's top two goaltenders are out so the Devils will start Jon Gillies. There's a reason the 27-year-old journeyman has made only 14 career appearances in the NHL since 2016. New Jersey has a handful of other guys out, too, while the Islanders are very healthy other than Coach Barry Trotz in protocols. |
01-13-22 | Canucks v. Lightning -245 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 31 h 30 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Consider that the Canucks are 5-2 in their last 7 road games, 6-13 in their last 19 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game, and 2-7 in their last 9 after allowing 5 goals or more in their previous game. While the Lightning are 42-17 in their last 59 home games, 66-29 in their last 95 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game , and 50-23 in their last 73 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. In addition, the Canucks are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings. |
01-12-22 | Seattle Kraken v. Stars -190 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Stars have won 4 of their last 5 games and they are now 13-3-1 at home this season. The Kraken have now lost 6 straight games, and 9 of their last 10. They are also just 4-9-2 on the road this season. Braden Holtby is still on the COVID list for the Stars so Jake Oettinger will get the start. He is 8-2-0 with a 2.22 GAA this season. Stars are pretty much healthy other than Holtby while the Kraken are missing two of their top scorers in Brandon Tanev and Jaden Schwartz. I don’t mind laying the juice here because the Stars have been so dominant at home, but a good way to lose the juice would be to play the Stars in regulation at -140. |
01-11-22 | Red Wings v. Sharks -128 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 30 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units San Jose is 9-7-0-1 at home, while Detroit is 4-11-1-1 on the road. The Red Wings average only 2.72 GPG, while allowing 3.36, while the Sharks average 2.81, while conceding 3.08. Not great for either side, but San Jose does come in off back-to-back victories after a 6-2 defeat at Detroit last week. The Wings have lost both games to open up their road trip. They return home for a game against the Jets on Thursday, so the possibility of "looking ahead" could be an issue as well. I think this is a very reasonable price to pay for the revenge-minded home side tonight. |
01-11-22 | Blackhawks v. Blue Jackets +102 | 4-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Bjorkstrand, who leads the Blue Jackets with 25 points, had three goals and two assists in last season's series versus the Blackhawks. Columbus collected points in five of the eight meetings (2-3-3). Gustav Nyquist has six points (three goals, three assists) in his last six games for the Blue Jackets, while Eric Robinson has eight (three goals, five assists) in his last 11. Consider that the Blackhawks are 8-17 in their last 25 vs. Metropolitan and 1-4 in their last 5 road games. |
01-10-22 | Bruins v. Capitals -115 | 7-3 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 33 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Washington apparently will get back two top forwards off injured reserve tonight in Nicklas Backstrom and TJ Oshie. Young Zach Fucale is in net and he has been spectacular in three appearances and two starts with a 0.42 GAA and a .980 save percentage. The Bruins are 3-8 in their last 11 games as underdogs and 5-12 in their past 17 in DC. Boston is certainly good enough to win this game, but I can't turn down the Caps at this great price at home. |
01-09-22 | Red Wings v. Ducks -130 | 3-4 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Off a 4-0 loss at LA last night, I believe Detroit will struggle with fatigue/energy levels this evening. Anaheim is 18-12-4-3 this year, but it's now lost 5 of its last 6 after last night's 4-1 loss here to the Rangers. The difference for me comes on the offensive end though, as Anaheim averages 2.97 GPG, while Detroit averages 2.71. Give me the Ducks at home in this favorable rebound spot. Consider Anaheim! |
01-09-22 | Stars v. Blues -150 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 3 h 30 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Stars played yesterday in Dallas so they should be a bit weary playing a back to back and their third game in three nights despite their long break. Jordan Binnington should be back in net for the Blues after getting the last game off, while Braden Holtby should start for the Stars. Holtby struggled in his first start back but the Stars are 4-9-1 on the road while the Blues are 13-3-2 at home. Blues will be without a couple players still, but they swept the Stars in a 2 game home and home series in December, I expect them to continue their strong play at home and against the Stars. |
01-08-22 | Capitals v. Wild +101 | 2-3 | Win | 101 | 9 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units As the Wild look to keep rolling, Washington hopes to regroup. The Capitals will try to recover after giving up five unanswered goals in a 5-1 loss on Friday night in St. Louis. Washington has dropped two straight following a 4-3 overtime loss against the New Jersey Devils last Sunday. That snapped a two-game winning streak for the Capitals, who posted a 5-3 win over the Nashville Predators on Dec. 29 and a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Dec. 31. Consider that the Wild are 15-5 in their last 20 when their opponent allows 5 goals or more in their previous game and 30-10 in their last 40 home games. |
01-08-22 | Sharks v. Flyers +110 | 3-2 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Sharks have also been depleted with captain Logan Couture on the COVID list. Erik Karlsson, Jacob Middleton and goaltender James Reimer were all out with injuries as well. Consider that the Sharks are 8-17 in their last 25 when their opponent allows 5 goals or more in their previous game and 1-4 in their last 5 road games. While the Flyers are 11-4 in their last 15 games following a home loss of 3 or more goals. |
01-08-22 | Panthers v. Hurricanes -105 | 4-3 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Florida Panthers head into Saturday night's game with the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, N.C., knowing that the road to an Atlantic Division title begins with improving their performance on the road. Florida is an NHL-best 18-3-0 on home ice this season, which is an amazing four more wins than any other team in the league. But the Panthers, who trail first-place Tampa Bay by two points, have won just four times (4-4-5) in 13 games away from Sunrise, Fla., which ties them for the second-fewest road wins in the league. Consider that the Hurricanes are 36-16 in their last 52 home games. |
01-07-22 | Capitals -101 v. Blues | 1-5 | Loss | -101 | 10 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This line has already risen from +115 to -105 with the announcement that Vladimir Tarasenko and a couple others were added to the COVID list for the Blues. I wouldn't be surprised to see more tomorrow either. On the other side, the Caps got Nicklas Backstrom, TJ Oshie, and Dimitry Orlov back at practice and all of them are expected to play Friday. Knowing the Caps, something will happen to keep them from starting all their starters (but Anthony Mantha) for one of the first times this season, but at the moment this line will only rise as long as they avoid any COVID issues. |
01-07-22 | Flames v. Hurricanes -175 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 33 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Jacob Markstrom should be starting for the Flames after they played in Tampa Bay last night but he has struggled since the break. The Flames have also struggled losing their last two games while the Canes are undefeated since the break. These are actually the two teams with the fewest goals allowed per game but I think being rested and at home gives the Canes a huge advantage. I wanted to take this at -155 but its already risen so I am willing to take the risk on someone possibly being out for COVID. As a statistician, theres a 50-50 chance it will favor us too, right? |
01-04-22 | Flyers v. Ducks -133 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 44 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Flyers are 13-14-3-3, including 7-7-3-1 on the road. The Ducks are 17-11-4-3, and home ice advantage has played a big part in that record, as they're 10-4-3-1 at home. The Ducks are also 5-1 their last six as a home favorite and 9-2 in their last 11 against a club with a losing record. The biggest difference comes on the defensive end though where the Flyers allow 3.22 GPG, while the Ducks allow just 2.71. |
12-20-21 | Wild v. Stars -104 | 4-7 | Win | 100 | 1 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Wild have lost three straight games now and they are much worse on the road this season at 9-6-1. The Stars stopped their losing streak last game, and they are much better at home this season at 10-3-1. Jake Oettinger is 6-2-0 with a 2.02 GAA this season and Cam Talbot is much worse on the road. 4 of the 5 scheduled games for tonight have been postponed for COVID and this isn’t a bad price for a Stars team that is historically much better at home. |
12-19-21 | Golden Knights -140 v. Islanders | 4-3 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Golden Knights have won 7 of their last 8 games and they are finally healthy. Matt Barzal and Ryan Pulock are out and Kyle Palmieri could miss this game too for the Isles. The Isles have just 2 home wins this season and just 3 wins in their last 10 games over. The Knights are clicking right now and *knock on wood* they've avoided a COVID outbreak so far on this road trip. Take the Knights on the road. |
12-18-21 | Oilers v. Seattle Kraken +100 | 5-3 | Loss | -100 | 6 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Oilers snapped their losing streak in their last game but they will be missing Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Zach Hyman, and Duncan Keith tonight and they are just 7-5-0 on the road. Kraken have won Chris Driedger’s last 3 starts and he has allowed 1 goal or fewer in 3 of his last 4 games. Kraken will be without Yanni Gourde, Riley Sheahan and Colin Blackwell but I think they should have success in front of Dreidger. Stuart Skinner is starting for the Oilers and he has lost 3 of his last 4 starts. Take the Kraken at home. |
12-18-21 | Devils v. Red Wings -119 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 4 h 38 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Red Wings have struggled lately losing 4 of their last 5 games but 3 of those games were on the road. They are significantly better at home at 10-3-2 on the season while the Devils are significantly worse on the road at 3-7-2. The Devils have also lost 4 straight games and 8 of their last 9 games. It looks like both backups will be in with Jon Gillies and Thomas Greiss so that should be a wash. Both teams are missing key players, Robby Fabbri and Alex Nedeljkovic for the Red Wings and Nico Hischier and PK Subban for the Devils. Take the Red Wings at home. |
12-18-21 | Senators +110 v. Flyers | 3-4 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Flyers had won 3 games in a row before losing in a shootout to the beat-up Canadiens their last game. They are playing much better, but they are still 5-6-2 at home. Carter Hart is also out tonight with an illness. Senators have sneakily won 5 of their last 7 games and Anton Forsberg has won 5 of his last 6 starts. The Senators have won 3 of their last 4 games on the road. Forsberg hasn’t allowed more than 2 goals in any of his last 4 games. Take the Senators while they’re hot. |
12-17-21 | Stars v. Blues +101 | 1-4 | Win | 101 | 9 h 4 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Blues are dealing with plenty of injuries right now but they continue to win. They have won 4 of their last 5 games and 3 of those wins were without their top 2 goaltenders. Jordan Binnington returned from the COVID list but Charlie Lindgren has been hot so I wouldn’t be surprised if they ride him. The Blues are 10-3-2 at home while the Stars are 4-8-1 on the road. The Stars have lost 4 straight games and they just lost their last game to the Blues 4-1 in Dallas. I like the Blues to stay hot at home with a cheap price to sweep this home and home. |
12-17-21 | Capitals v. Jets -110 | 5-2 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 1 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Caps returned many players from the COVID list in their last game but since they are playing in Canada, those players are not allowed to play yet. So Nic Dowd, Trevor Van Riemsdyk, Garnet Hathaway and Evgeny Kuznetsov will all be out for the Caps tonight in COVID protocols. Tom Wilson could be out again too after missing the past two games. The Jets have struggled losing 3 of their last 4 games but they are rested and they are much better at home at 9-5-1. The Jets will be without Blake Wheeler, but this is still a very good price against half the Caps regulars. Take the Jets at home. |
12-16-21 | Blue Jackets +185 v. Oilers | 2-5 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 54 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Oilers have now lost 6 straight games, and they didn’t score more than 1 goal in 4 of those games. I see no reason why the Oilers should be -200 favorites tonight the way they have been playing. The Blue Jackets struggle on the road but they are very capable live dogs. They went up 3-0 in the first period before blowing the lead to the Kraken in their last game, so I think if they can get a lead, they will be much more focused to finish it out. In the last 7 days, road underdogs are actually 16-14-2 (50.0%) so let’s see if we can catch this trend against a team who has lost 6 in a row. |
12-16-21 | Bruins +115 v. Islanders | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Brad Marchand is out for the Bruins, but Matthew Barzal and Ryan Pulock are still out for the Islanders. These two teams met in the Conference Semifinals last season and this is their first meeting since, so there will be plenty of bad blood. Linus Ullmark has won 4 of his last 5 games and he hasn’t allowed more than 2 goals in any of them. Road underdogs have actually won at a 50.0% rate in the last 7 days so hopefully the trend continues. Take the value in the Bruins. |
12-16-21 | Flyers -150 v. Canadiens | 2-3 | Loss | -150 | 7 h 20 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Cayden Primeau is expected to start for the Canadiens tonight and he is 0-2-0 with a 4.8 GAA this season. The Canadiens have also lost 7 straight games and they are still missing a bunch of key players. The Flyers have now won 3 straight games and they have some momentum after their extended losing streak. They have scored at least 4 goals in each of their past 3 wins, I expect the scoring to continue tonight. |
12-15-21 | Seattle Kraken v. Ducks -152 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Kraken picked up a win last night in San Jose and head to Anaheim for the second game of a back-to-back. The Ducks have been off since Sunday, so they have been waiting at home after their long road trip. The Ducks have won 3 of their last 4 games while the Kraken have lost 4 of 6. Phillip Grubauer has lost 5 of his last 6 games and he has allowed at least 3 goals in 6 straight games. I think this is a tough assignment for Grubauer to turn it around on the road on a back-to-back. Both John Gibson and Anthony Stolarz have been good this season so I don’t mind who is starting for the Ducks. |
12-15-21 | Capitals -144 v. Blackhawks | 4-5 | Loss | -144 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Nicklas Backstrom, Nic Dowd and Trevor Van Riemsdyk all traveled for this game so I would expect them to be back in the lineup. The Blackhawks beat the Caps for the first time since 2006 in Washington earlier this season but the Caps are healthy now. Both starting goalies should be starting after getting their last game off and both teams are rested having not played since Saturday. I like the Caps to even the season series tonight. |
12-14-21 | Seattle Kraken v. Sharks -140 | 3-1 | Loss | -140 | 12 h 58 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Pretty reasonable price on San Jose at home considering Seattle has just three road wins. Sharks netminder James Reimer has been terrific with a 1.98 GAA and .937 SV overall. The Kraken's Philipp Grubauer is 1-4-2 on the road with a 3.82 GAA. |
12-14-21 | Blues v. Stars -145 | 4-1 | Loss | -145 | 5 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Both teams are a bit thinned-out by injury and COVID but especially St. Louis. The Blues' top two goaltenders are out, so it's Charlie Lindgren here. He has been quite good in two starts but history shows he's not a top-flight NHL netminder. The Stars' Jake Oettinger has made six starts this year and not allowed more than two goals in either. The Under also might be a wise play. |
12-14-21 | Islanders v. Red Wings -115 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 4 h 24 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Red Wings are 9-3-2 at home this season although they have lost their last three games. The Isles finally broke their losing streak and they have won 2 of their last 3 games. However, they have still lost 8 of 10 overall and they are 6-6-3 on the road. The Red Wings just beat the Isles at home, 4-3, 10 days ago. Alex Nedeljkovic is expected to be back in net after getting their last game off, take the value in the Red Wings at home. |
12-12-21 | Panthers v. Avalanche -144 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Panthers are just 4-3-4 on the road this season while the Aves are 8-2-1 at home. The Aves have scored 7 goals in each of their last 3 games, and they average 2.1 more goals per game than their opponent on home ice. The Panthers are a completely different team on the road, and they average 1.5 goals fewer. Take the Aves to stay hot at home. |
12-11-21 | Stars v. Sharks -103 | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 3 h 7 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Stars are playing their third road game in four nights after losing their first two. They are now 4-7-1 on the road this season while the Sharks are 6-5-1 at home. The Sharks have lost 3 of their last 4 games but those were all with Adin Hill starting for the Sharks. James Reimer is expected to return for the Sharks and he has been very good this season going 8-4-1 with a 2.05 GAA. Take the Sharks at home. |
12-11-21 | Bruins +120 v. Flames | 4-2 | Win | 120 | 9 h 5 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Flames are just 4-2-4 at home this season and they have lost three straight games after winning 6 of their last 7. The Bruins got Brad Marchand back last game and he proved to be a big addition as he added some scoring. The Bruins are 6-4-1 on the road this season and they’ve had a tough time winning back-to-back games, but the Flames are very streaky and they tend to lose multiple in a row when they lose. I think this game is more of a toss-up, I like the value in the Bruins. |
12-11-21 | Hurricanes +113 v. Oilers | 3-1 | Win | 113 | 9 h 3 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Oilers have now lost 4 straight games and they’ve only scored 7 total goals in those 4 games. They broke out of a 1 for 16 slump on the power play last game with 2 PPGs, but they were still shutout in 5 on 5 play for the loss. The Canes have the second-best penalty kill in the league and I think the Oilers will have a tough time scoring against them. The Canes have now won 3 straight games and they didn’t allow more than 2 goals in any of the three. I think this is a low scoring game and that should play right into the Canes, take the value on the Canes. |
12-10-21 | Penguins v. Capitals -142 | 4-2 | Loss | -142 | 6 h 29 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Caps won the first meeting between these teams 6-1 and it wasn’t even close. That was Sidney Crosby and company's first game back but now the Caps are the ones getting healthy. They lost a couple players to the COVID list in Garnet Hathaway and Trevor Van Riemsdyk, but they add a couple as well from injury in Connor Sheary and TJ Oshie. The Caps are 9-1-4 at home this season and they are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. The Penguins have been much better playing to a 7-2-1 record in their last 10 games as well, but the Caps score the fourth most goals in the league while allowing the 3rd fewest, both better than the Penguins. Take the Caps at home. |
12-09-21 | Wild -139 v. Sharks | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 14 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Wild have now won 7 straight games and they have allowed more than 2 goals just one time during that stretch. The Wild are the third highest scoring team in the league while the Sharks are ranked 24th, so the Sharks should have a tough time keeping up with them. Adin Hill played well in his last game but he has been very hit or miss all season. The Sharks are just 6-4-1 at home while the Wild are 8-4-1 on the road this season so the Sharks shouldn’t have a noticeable advantage. I like the Wild to extend their winning streak to 8 games. |
12-09-21 | Predators v. Islanders -105 | 4-3 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units I believe the Islanders will take off now that they finally got the monkey off their backs in ending an 11-game losing streak Tuesday. Too much talent on this team. Just needed to get healthy. Now the Isles have to get the home monkey off their backs: Yet to win at the new UBS Arena. Nashville played without No. 1 goaltender Juuse Saros in Tuesday's 5-2 win at Detroit due to an illness and there's a good chance he sits out again. The Preds are 2-5 in their last seven after scoring at least five goals in their previous game. |
12-09-21 | Ducks v. Blue Jackets -103 | 2-1 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 46 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Blue Jackets are a completely different team at home vs. on the road. They are 4-8-0 on the road this season but 9-3-0 at home. They average over a goal per game more at home as well, scoring 3.8 goals per game at home. The Ducks are just 5-4-3 on the road and John Gibson has lost 6 of his last 7 starts. Patrick Laine will be out for the Blue Jackets as he is tending to a family matter, but I still like the value on the Blue Jackets at home as a pick em. |
12-09-21 | Blackhawks -130 v. Canadiens | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 5 h 48 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This might be the only time I back Chicago on the road this season, but the Canadiens' injured/COVID list is ridiculous right now. The Hawks, meanwhile, are getting a few injured defensemen back. I also expect a stellar night from Marc-Andre Fleury in net. He's from the Montreal area and has a chance to get his 500th career win near his hometown. You know it's important to him. Fleury would be only the third netminder to reach 500. Chicago has won its past four vs. teams with a losing record. |

12-08-21 | Stars v. Golden Knights -135 | 4-5 | Win | 100 | 13 h 54 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Dallas carries a seven-game winning streak into this one, but six of those wins were at home and the lone road victory at awful Arizona, so color me skeptical. The Stars are 4-5-1 on the road and 6-13 dating to last season in their past 19 as road dogs. Vegas is finally healthy for the most part after major injury and COVID issues and has won two straight. Las Vegas is one of the toughest places to play for opponents and the Knights are 8-5-0 there. Vegas won in Dallas early this season and that was with backup Laurent Brossoit in net. Should be Robin Lehner on Wednesday. |

12-07-21 | Flames -125 v. Sharks | 3-5 | Loss | -125 | 5 h 20 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Jacob Markstrom has won five of his last seven starts and he has been better on the road, with a 1.71 GAA.. The Flames are better on the road at 11-3-2 and they are coming off a loss, so they should be motivated. The Sharks are just 5-4-1 at home and they should have a tough time scoring against the Flames. Take the Flames on the road Tuesday. |

12-07-21 | Wild v. Oilers -118 | 4-1 | Loss | -118 | 7 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Minnesota is an excellent team, but getting Edmonton at this number at home, where the Oilers are 9-2, is something we have to take. Both the Oilers and Wild are undefeated when leading after both the first and second periods this season. Minnesota is the third-most penalized team (254 penalty minutes) in the NHL. The Oilers come off a 5-1 home loss to the Kings but are 7-0 in their past seven when scoring two goals or fewer in their previous game. |

12-07-21 | Panthers v. Blues +140 | 3-4 | Win | 140 | 8 h 24 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Panthers have now won 7 of their last 9 games, however all 7 of those wins were at home. They are just 3-3-3 on the road this season while the Blues are 7-3-1 at home. These two teams just faced off in Florida and the Panthers won a close 1-goal game, so I think the Blues are able to make the adjustments to get the win at home tonight. I also think there is a massive overreaction to Ville Husso starting with Jordan Binnington out, but Husso was actually playing better before Binnington entered COVID protocol. Sergei Bobrovsky hasn’t been at his best lately so get on this play now because if Spencer Knight gets the start, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does, the line will go up. |

12-07-21 | Hurricanes v. Jets -106 | 4-2 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Hurricanes have a bit of a goalie problem right now. Frederik Anderson has allowed four goals in three of his last four games, so Antti Raanta got the last two starts. The Canes have also lost five of their last seven. The Jets have won three of their last four. They are getting plenty of shots on goal and scoring lots of goals. They’ve scored 18 goals the past 4 games despite getting shut out once.. The Jets are 9-3-1 at home and both teams will be peppering the goalies with shots, so I like the home team with the better goalies |

12-07-21 | Ducks -115 v. Sabres | 2-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 52 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units It's the second of a back-to-back for Anaheim, but I still prefer the Ducks' backup goaltender Anthony Stolarz, to Buffalo's Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, who was just called up from the AHL because the team is so thin at the position right now due to injury. Luukkonen was 1-3-0 with a 3.88 GAA in the NHL last year as a rookie and a mediocre 6-6 with a 3.42 GAA this year in the AHL. The Sabres have given up 20 goals over the last three games, their most in a three-game stretch since yielding a franchise-record 21 goals in February 1993. |
12-07-21 | Predators v. Red Wings +113 | 5-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 26 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Red Wings are red hot right now having won 5 straight games, and they are 9-2-2 at home. The Predators haven’t won back-to-back games in about a month and they are just 5-5-1 on the road. Alex Nedeljkovic has been very good for the Wings only allowing more than 3 goals twice this season. He has also won 4 straight starts and allowed 2 goals or fewer in 5 of the last 6 games. Juuse Saros has been good too but he is much worse on the road with a 3.26 GAA. Take the Red wings at home. |
12-06-21 | Penguins v. Seattle Kraken -104 | 6-1 | Loss | -104 | 6 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units With news that Casey Desmith is expected to start for the Penguins, I will happily take the Kraken at home. Casey Desmith is 0-4-1 with a 4.32 GAA this season. The Kraken are 6-6-0 at home this season and they have sneakily won 3 of their last 4 games and 5 of their last 7. Phillip Grubauer has been much better lately after a tough start to the season. He has won 3 of his last 5 starts and he hasn’t allowed more than 3 goals in a start in his last 8 games. Take the value on the Kraken at home. |
12-06-21 | Avalanche -195 v. Flyers | 7-5 | Win | 100 | 5 h 42 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Flyers just fired their coach and while I do think it was necessary, I don’t think in the middle of a back-to-back with no practices with a new coach was the best timing. The Aves are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Senators so they should come out more focused tonight. Martin Jones should be starting for the Flyers after relieving Carter Hart last night, but he is 0-3-1 with a 3.76 GAA in his last 4 starts. The Aves are currently missing Cale Makar, Nazem Kadri, Bowen Byram, and Darcy Keumper to injury but all are day-to-day and could be back. Jonas Johansson has been very bad when he has struggled but he also allowed 2 goals or fewer in 3 of his last 5 starts since Keumper was hurt. The Flyers have lost 8 in a row. Lay the juice on the Aves, this line will only go up. |

12-05-21 | Flames +115 v. Golden Knights | 2-3 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 24 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Flames have won 7 of their last 8 games and they are 11-2-2 on the road this season. The Golden Knights are just about healthy, but Robin Lehner has struggled this season, and they are just 7-5-0 on home ice. Vegas has lost 3 of their last 5 games and the Flames will make it very hard for the Knights to score. I like the value in the Flames on the road. |
12-05-21 | Maple Leafs v. Jets -115 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 6 h 27 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Second of a back-to-back for the Leafs, who will not have forward Mitch Marner and his 21 points due to injury. Toronto also will be starting a backup goaltender, either Joseph Woll if healthy enough to go or Michael Hutchinson. Either is a downgrade from Jack Campbell -- Woll has been good but it seems unlikely he plays since he wasn't healthy enough to serve as the No. 2 on Saturday. |
12-05-21 | Kings v. Oilers -185 | 5-1 | Loss | -185 | 6 h 23 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Mikko Koskinen is expected to be back in net for the Oilers as they head home. They are 9-1-0 at home on the season. The Kings have lost 7 of their last 8 games and they are 3-3-2 on the road this season. The Kings have lost 8 of their last 9 trips to Edmonton as well. These teams are trending in complete opposite directions. Jonathan Quick allowed 4 goals and 6 goals in his last 2 games. This line should be at least -200 and probably higher, so we will take the value on the home team before it goes up. |
12-03-21 | Oilers -125 v. Seattle Kraken | 3-4 | Loss | -125 | 12 h 30 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This moneyline surprises me as the Oilers are 16-5-0 and the Kraken 8-13-0 and Edmonton is only -125. I'll happily take it. This will be the Oilers' first-ever game in Seattle. The Kraken visited Edmonton on Nov. 1 and lost 5-2 as NHL scoring leader Leon Draisaitl had two goals and two assists. Two of Seattle's best forwards, Jordan Eberle and Jaden Schwartz, may not play due to injury. The Kraken have lost seven straight vs. Western Conference foes. |
