03-08-22 | St. Mary's +12.5 v. Gonzaga | 69-82 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 49 m | Show
The matchup we all expected is happening tonight in the West Coast Conference as top ranked Gonzaga takes on conference runner up St Marys. St Marys led by double digits a good way through last night's contest against Santa Clara, but in the end didn't cover the 4.5-point line in a 75-72 win. It was the Gaels fifth win in a row. The Gaels are 10-4-1 ATS over their last 15 games. St Marys also beat Gonzaga straight-up in their last meeting on Feb 26th, 67-57 as a 10.5-point dog. Gonzaga is 25-3 overall and arguably the best team in the country. They had a huge lead over San Francisco last night (over 20 points), but let the Dons back in the game in the 2nd half and held on for a 81-71 win as a 14-point favorite. That made the Zags just 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games. Should be another great games between these excellent schools. However, I'll take the double digit line here tonight as St Marys has the confidence to know they can beat Gonzaga. |

03-08-22 | UT-Rio Grande Valley v. California Baptist -7.5 | 80-81 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 49 m | Show
WAC Conference first round here tonight has Texas Rio Grande Valley taking on Cal Baptist from Las Vegas, NV. UTRGV Vaqueros are just 8-22 on the season and are 1-7 S/U their last eight games. They are also 3-3-1 ATS their last seven games. Cal Baptist is 17-14 overall on the season and has won two games including last time out at Lamar, 78-66 as a 8.5 point favorite. Cal Baptist is middle of the pack in offense and defense. UTRGV is 10th in offense and 12th in defense. Baptist laying just 4.5 points here against one of the worst in the conference. I'll take that with Cal Baptist. |
03-08-22 | Wagner +3 v. Bryant | Top | 43-70 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 48 m | Show |
Northeast conference championship here today with a automatic bid on the line to the NCAA tourney. The Wagner Seahawks are 21-5 overall on the season and bring a two-game win streak into today's contest. The Seahawks lost at Bryant last week, 70-78, as a 4.5-point dog. They did beat Bryant way back on Jan 6th, 84-81, as a 8-point favorite. Wagner is now 8-3 AST in their last 11 games as a dog and 7-3 as a road dog. Bryant is 21-9 overall and has a six-game winning streak going. They have failed to cover their last two games and are 2-3 over their last five games. Bryant has the top rated efficient offense in the conference and the 4th ranked defense. Wagner is very well balanced, ranking 2nd in both offense and defense efficiency in the Northeast conference. They also have the top ranked 2-point shooting team (54.4%) and the top ranked offensive rebounding team (34.4%). Should be a great game, but I'll take the points in this one. Play Wagner. |
03-08-22 | NC State v. Clemson -4.5 | 64-70 | Win | 100 | 4 h 19 m | Show
ACC afternoon action here today has NC State taking on Clemson. The NC State Wolfpack are having a bad season at just 11-20 overall. In addition, they have lost four straight game both S/U and ATS and are 1-10 S/U and ATS their last 11 games. The Pack are dead last in the conference in defensive efficiency (15th) last in 3-point FG% (39.1%) and last in 2-point FG% (55.2%). Clemson hopes to bring their four-game win streak into today's 1st round game. The Tigers are 16-15 overall and have covered three of their last four games. They have also done well on a neutral site, going 9-3 ATS in that venue. I expect Clemson to make quick task of NC State and move on to the quarterfinals after today. Play Clemson. |
03-08-22 | Boston College -1.5 v. Pittsburgh | 66-46 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show
Two of the ACC bottom feeders matchup in the 1st round of the Conference Tournament early here on Tuesday. It's Boston College (6-14) taking on Pittsburgh (6-14) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The BC Eagles are 11-19 overall on the season. They have lost three straight games entering tourney play. BC beat Pitt back on Jan 30th, 69-56 as a 3.5-point favorite and lost to them on Jan 8th, 67-69, as a 3-point dog - covering both matchups. Pitt is 11-20 on the season and has lost four straight games both S/U and ATS. Pitt has the 14th offense and 13th defense in efficiency in the conference. Two teams that won't go far in this conference, but today, the play is on Boston College. |
03-07-22 | Santa Clara +5 v. St. Mary's | 72-75 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show
The number two and three conference seeds meet here tonight in the West Coast Conference Tournament. Second play St Mary's (12-3) will take on their neighbor, Santa Clara (10-5). The Santa Clara Broncos are 21-11 overall on the season. They have won three straight games both S/U and ATS. They are also 8-2 S/U and ATS their last 10 games. The St Marys Gaels are 24-6 overall on the season. They are coming off a huge win over conference leader and number one Gonzaga, 67-57 as a 10.5-point dog. That was their fourth win in a row. I have to wonder if that big win will have some hangover effect here tonight. The dog has covered five of the last six meetings in this series. That's what I will be on tonight, the dog. Play Santa Clara. |
03-07-22 | Northern Kentucky v. IUPU Ft Wayne +2 | 57-43 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 55 m | Show
Horizon League Semifinals down to four teams and the late game of the two has Northern Kentucky taking on Indiana Fort Wayne. Northern Kentucky Norse were 18-11 overall on the season and opened the tournament with a win over Detroit, 77-59, as a 4-point favorite last Thursday. The Norse have won four straight games and seven of their last eight. They are also 7-1 ATS their last eight games. The IUPUFW Mastadons are 21-10 and started tourney play with a win over Illinois Chicago, 78-72, as a 7-point favorite. The Mastadons have now won 10 straight games and gone 8-2 vs the spread. Both teams are hot, both teams can win this game. Fort Wayne has been a dog in both games this year, the teams splitting and winning on their home courts. Yet, NKU laying about the same points here (2) as they did when they played on the road at Fort Wayne back in December (2). I'll take Fort Wayne here on Monday. |
03-07-22 | Warriors v. Nuggets -7.5 | Top | 124-131 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
The Golden State Warriors are 43-21 on the season. That's the good news. The bad news? Well, this team is in fast decline, losing four straight games and going just 2-8 their last 10 games. They are also 1-11 ATS their last 12 games. They have lost their last four games by 8, 9, 15 and 6 points. Tonight, there is a certain situation that really goes against the Warriors. They will be resting Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and Stephen Currey. To add to the situation, they have to travel to the high altitude of Denver with a short bench. The Nuggets are 38-26 on the season. They have won two straight and eight of their last nine games. They are also 6-3 ATS their last nine games. Great situation for the Nuggets tonight. They are hot and they get a ice code Warriors team with three stars sitting out. Play Denver. |
03-07-22 | Lakers v. Spurs -2 | 110-117 | Win | 100 | 9 h 43 m | Show
The LA Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs are both sitting in fourth place in their respective divisions. Right now the Lakers are 9th in the West and the Spurs are 12th. If the Spurs hope to make the playoffs, they need to win games against teams that are right above them. The Lakers are 28-35 and will be without Anthony Davis again tonight with a injury. The Lakers snapped a four-game losing streak last game to the Warriors, 124-116 as a 5.5-point dog. The Lakers are just 2-7 S/U their last nine games and 4-5 ATS. The San Antonio Spurs look to snap a 4-game losing streak here tonight. The Spurs are coming off a loss to Charlotte, 117-123 as a 3.5-point dog. The Spurs are 7-2-1 ATS their last 10 games vs a team with a losing straight-up record. They are also 6-2-1 ATS their last nine games as a favorite. I'll take the Spurs tonight to get back on the winning track. |
03-06-22 | Suns +9.5 v. Bucks | 122-132 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 47 m | Show
The Phoenix Suns are 51-12 on the season and have struggled a bit with injuries of late. They barely came away with a win last game vs New York, 115-114, as a 6.5-point favorite. They are now 2-5 ATS their last seven games. The biggest issue today for the Suns is that they will be without two of their star players in Devin Booker (quarantine) and Chris Paul (thumb). The Bucks are 39-25 and bring a 3-game win streak into today's contest. They are coming off a win at Chicago, 118-112 as a 5-point road favorite. The Bucks are 4-1 ATS the last five meetings with the Suns in Milwaukee. With key players out today for the Clippers, I'll take the Bucks in this one. |
03-06-22 | Nebraska +12 v. Wisconsin | 74-73 | Win | 100 | 2 h 8 m | Show
Reason: Big 10 Action here today on the college hard court has Nebraska taking on Wisconsin. The Nebraska Cornhuskers won't be going to any postseason tournaments this year with a 9-21 overall record. That makes these last games of the season a way for them to go out on a high note. The Huskers have won two straight games, both as double digit dogs, to Ohio State 78-70 and at Penn State, 93-70. They have also covered three straight games. Wisconsin will be going to the NCAA this year no matter what, as they have a 24-5 overall record. The Badgers really don't care about today's game as they are coming off a big upset win over Purdue, 70-67, as a 3-point dog. For me, it's about motivation here today. Nebraska has it, Wisconsin doesn't. Play Nebraska. |
03-06-22 | South Florida +8.5 v. Temple | 47-75 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 8 m | Show
South Florida has struggled to a 8-21 mark this season. However, they have covered their last three games including last game against Memphis, 64-73, as a 13-point dog. They will face a Temple team that has fared a bit better on the season at 16-11 overall. The Owls are coming off a loss at Houston, 46-84, as a 16.5-point dog. Temple will be without a star player today in Khalif Battle, who is out with a foot injury. Battle averaged 21.4 ppg on the season. I will take the points in this game with South Florida. |
03-06-22 | Houston v. Memphis +3 | 61-75 | Win | 100 | 1 h 12 m | Show
Two of the top three teams in the American Athletic Conference meet today as top seede Houston (15-2) takes on 3rd place Memphis (12-5). The Houston Cougars are 26-4 overall on the season and bring a six game win streak into today's contest. They are coming off a blowout win over Temple, 84-46, as a 16.5-point favorite. Memphis is 18-9 overall and likely in need of more wins to make the NCAA tournament. They have won three straight games and nine of their last 10 overall. Their only loss in the last 10 coming to SMU on Feb 20th. They have also done well covering the spread, evidenced by their 7-2 mark their last 10 games. Memphis getting a few points here at home today and I think they have more incentive to win this game. Take Memphis. |
03-05-22 | San Diego State -3.5 v. Nevada | 79-78 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 12 m | Show
Late Mountain West action here on the college slate tonight has San Diego State taking on Nevada. The Sdg State Aztecs another of those Mountain West teams with 20 wins. Knowing the NCAA won't take them all, these last few games become big. San Diego State is 20-7 overall and has won three straight games and eight of their last nine games. They have also covered five of their last six games. Nevada having one of their worst seasons in recent memory at just 12-16 on the season. The Wolfpack have lost three straight games after winning three straight. They are also 4-8 ATS their last 12 games. Don't see a lot of incentive for the Wolfpack here tonight. However, the Aztecs do have incentive if they want to make the NCAA tournament. Play San Diego State. |
03-05-22 | Warriors -5.5 v. Lakers | 116-124 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 46 m | Show
The Golden State Warriors have hit some hard times of late. They are 43-20 overall on the season and 31-32 vs the spread. However, they have lost two straight games and seven of their last nine games. They are also just 1-10 ATS their last 11 games. The good news is that they play an LA Lakers team that will be without Anthony Davis tonight. Davis is out with an ankle injury. The Lakers have also struggled to a 27-35 record. They have lost four straight games and seven of their last eight games. They are also 3-5 ATS their last eight games. Both teams struggling so something has to give. With Davis out, I give the nod here to the Warriors. |
03-05-22 | Spurs v. Hornets -3.5 | 117-123 | Win | 100 | 6 h 16 m | Show
The San Antonio Spurs are 24-39 on the season and 32-30-1 vs the spread. The Spurs have lost three straight games, including last time out to the Sacramento Kings, 112-115, as a 6.5-point favorite. Since the 2nd half of the season started they are 1-3 S/U and 2-2 ATS. The Spurs are just 4-10 ATS their last 14 games as a dog. The Charlotte Hornets have climbed back to within two games of the .500 mark at 31-33 overall and 35-27-2 vs the spread. The Hornets are 2-2 S/U and ATS since the All-Star break. They are coming off a win at Cleveland, 119-98, as a 4.5-point dog. Charlotte is 5-2 ATS the last seven meetings with the Spurs. Take Charlotte. |
03-05-22 | Iowa State +12.5 v. Baylor | 68-75 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show
Big 12 action as they get ready to head into conference tourney play. Iowa State is coming off a loss at home to Oklahoma State, 36-53, as a 4-point favorite. They had their lowest scoring output of the season and hit just 28% of 2-point field goals and 11.8% of 3-point field goals. The Baylor Bears are 25-5 on the season and have won four straight since their loss to Texas Tech on Feb 16th. They are coming off a win at Texas, 68-61, as a 1-point favorite. Have to believe Iowa State will be plenty upset after their last performance. While I don't expect them to win outright, I do expect them to cover the double digit dog line today. Play Iowa State. |
03-05-22 | VCU +2.5 v. St. Louis | 65-69 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 23 m | Show
The VCU Rams one of those teams with 21 wins on the season and that means they need a few more wins or to win their conference tournament. The Rams are 21-7 overall and are on a eight game win streak. They are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. The Saint Louis Billikens are 20-10 and in the same boat as VCU. The Billikens are just 3-4 S/U and 3-3-1 ATS their last seven games. Both teams are good, but VCU is on the winning streak and St Louis is floundering a bit. I'll take VCU. |
03-05-22 | Texas +6.5 v. Kansas | 63-70 | Loss | -109 | 4 h 11 m | Show
Big 12 action here today has Texas traveling to Kansas to take on the Jayhawks. Texas is 21-9 on the season and while there are a lot of 20+ win teams in college, Texas by their conference and pedigree likely gets an NCAA bid no matter what happens rest of the way. Texas is coming off a loss at home to Baylor, 61-68, as a 1-point dog. That loss snapped a two game win streak for the Horns. Kansas 24-6 definitely will be a high seeded NCAA team come tourney time. The Jayhawks are just 1-2 S/U and 0-3 in their last three games, so they are not finishing very strong. They are coming off a win over TCU, 72-68, but failed to cover the 11.5-point line. Both teams don't need this game to make the NCAA, but Texas might want it a bit more. They are getting 6.5-points which I believe is a bit too much. Play Texas. |
03-05-22 | Fresno State v. Wyoming -4 | 64-68 | Push | 0 | 4 h 59 m | Show
Fresno State still at 20 wins after losing last games at San Diego State, 64-65, as a 7.5-point dog. The Bulldogs are 20-11 and might not make the NCAA tournament without a very good showing in the Mountain West Tournament. They are just 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Wyoming should make the NCAA with their 23-7 record, though it's not for sure so they need to win all the games they can. They are coming off a pair of losses, their first home loss of the season to San Diego State, 66-73, and then losing at UNLV, 57-64, as a 1.5-point dog. It's imperative that the Cowboys get back on the winning track today and that I believe will happen back at home. Play Wyoming |
03-05-22 | La Salle -1 v. Duquesne | Top | 85-76 | Win | 100 | 3 h 10 m | Show |
LaSalle 9-18 on the season but brings a 2-game win streak into today's contest at Duquesne. The Explorers are coming off a win over St Joe's 49-48 as a 1.5-point dog. Duquesne Dukes likely playing their last game of the season here today at just 6-22 and no postseason prospects. The Dukes are coming off a loss to George Washington, 93-98 as a 7-point dog. That was only their 1st cover in their last six games and third cover in their last 15 games. Duquesne is the worst team in the conference and one of if not the worst in college basketball. I'll take Lasalle here today. |
03-05-22 | Miami-FL +1.5 v. Syracuse | 75-72 | Win | 100 | 2 h 51 m | Show
Reason: Miami Florida hoping they can get into the NCAA tournament without winning their conference tourney that comes up soon. The Canes are 21-9 and are right there. So today's game at Syracuse means a lot to them for the NCAA push. The Canes are coming off a win at Boston College last time out, 81-70, as a 4-point favorite. They have covered five of their last seven games. Syracuse just 15-15 on the season and likely set for a minor postseason tourney. The Orange have lost three straight games and are 1-5 ATS their last six games. They are coming off a loss at North Carolina, 79-88, as a 8.5-point dog. With Miami a small dog here today and likely gaining a lot of benefit from a win, I'll back the Canes. |
03-05-22 | Davidson v. Dayton -3.5 | 76-82 | Win | 100 | 1 h 21 m | Show
Davidson looks like they have punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament with a 25-4 overall record. They have won five straight games including last game vs George Washington, 73-62, as a 7-point favorite. Dayton looks like more of a bubble team at 21-9. They are coming off a win over Richmond, 55-53, as a 2-point road dog. Dayton needs this one more. I'll take the Flyers minus the small number. |
03-05-22 | Alabama v. LSU -3 | 77-80 | Push | 0 | 1 h 51 m | Show
SEC action here today has Alabama taking on LSU. Bama is 19-11 and likely one of those bubble teams as we head toward the NCAA tourament. They are coming off a loss to Texas A&M, 71-87 as a 10-point favorite, totally dropping the ball in that game. Still, they have won five of their last seven games. LSU is 20-10 and likely in the same spot as Bama. The Tigers have lost three of their last four games including last game at Arkansas, 76-77, as a 5.5-point dog. LSU back on home turf here today and laying a small number. I'll take the hosts in this one. |
03-04-22 | Jazz v. Pelicans +4.5 | 90-124 | Win | 100 | 8 h 14 m | Show
The Utah Jazz are 39-22 on the season but only 28-32-1 against the spread. They have won all three games since the All-Star break, but covered just one. That includes their last game at Houston, winning 132-127, as a 15-point favorite. The Jazz are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorite and 1-5 ATS in their last five road games overall. The Pelicans have improved to 26-36 overall after winning all three post All-Star games. That includes last game over Sacramento, 125-95, as a 6.5-point favorite. They have covered all three games. They are now 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games. I like the Pelicans here tonight and won't be surprised by and upset straight-up winner. |
03-04-22 | SE Missouri State +15.5 v. Murray State | 74-88 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
Ohio Valley Conference 2nd Round action here tonight has SE Missouri State taking on Murray State. SE Missouri State Redhawks started the first round with a win last night over Tennessee State, 79-55 as a 2-point favorite. They held Tennessee State to just 8.3% from 3-point field goals. SE MO State has the league's 3rd ranked offensive efficient team. They rank first in 3-point field goals (36.4%) and did just that last night, hitting 36.7% vs Tennessee State. Murray State was 28-2 in the regular season and was the best in the conference. They start conference tourney play here tonight against the team they ended the regular season playing. These teams met just last week with SE MO State losing a close one, 68-70, as a 11.5-point dog. Murray is the best team in the conference, but 15 points to a very good 3-point shooting team like SE MO State is just too much. I like SE MO State and I believe their 3-point shooting will be what covers this game for them. Play SE Missouri State. |
03-04-22 | Cavs v. 76ers -7 | Top | 119-125 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 14 m | Show |
The Cleveland Cavaliers are still having a good season at 36-26 overall and 33-26-3 vs the spread. The Cavs are just 1-5 S/U their last five games and 0-6 vs the spread. They are coming off a loss at home to Charlotte, 98-119, as a 4.5-point favorite. They are also 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a dog and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games on the road. They also look to be without their shooting guard, Caris LeVert, who will miss today's game with a foot injury. The Sixers big pickup with James Harden and he could be a game changer down the stretch for this Philly team. Philly is 38-23 overall and 31-30 vs the spread. They have won all three games both S/U and ATS since the All-Star break. And, all three have been blowout wins by 15, 16 and 29 points. The Sixers look like a team that is hitting all cylinders right now. Play Philadelphia. |
03-04-22 | Bradley +6 v. Loyola-Chicago | 50-66 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 28 m | Show
Missouri Valley Semifinals here today from Enterprise Center in St, Louis Missouri. Bradley finished the regular season 17-13 S/U and 17-12 ATS. They finished with a win over Valparaiso, 79-55, as a 10.5 point home favorite. They won five of their last seven games down the stretch. The Braves have done well on neutral sites, going 8-2 ATS in their last 10. Loyola Chicago Ramblers are 22-7 and lost their last regular season game at Northern Iowa, 96-102, as a 2-point favorite. Loyola is now 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. Bradley had the 1st ranked efficient defense in the Conference this year, ranking 1st in 3-point field goal% (31.9) and 4th in 2-point fG% (48.7). I'll take the big points here today with Bradley. |
03-03-22 | Evansville v. Valparaiso -5 | Top | 59-81 | Win | 100 | 22 h 47 m | Show |
Missouri Valley Conference Tourney 1st Round action here today from Enterprise Center, St Louis, MO. Evansville likely an early exit here and their season will be done at just 6-23 thus far. The Aces have lost seven straight games and are 2-3 ATS in their last five games. The Aces rank last in efficiency in the conference in both offense and defense. They have the worst 2-point shooting team (43.5%) and the worst defensive 2-point team (58.1%). Valparaiso is 13-17 on the season and has lost two straight games. The Crusaders have played three games on a neutral court this year, going 2-1 both S/U and ATS. Both teams in the bottom portion of the conference. However, the Aces are the worst and they should lay over today and take the early out. Play Valpariso. |
03-03-22 | Grizzlies +2.5 v. Celtics | 107-120 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 44 m | Show
The Memphis Grizzlies improved to 43-20 on the season with their win last time out over San Antonio, 118-105. They have won two games in a row and 11-3 their last 14 games. They are also 10-3-1 ATS their last 14 games vs the spread. They are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorite and 17-5 their last 22 games as a favorite. The Boston Celtics improved to 37-27 after beating Atlanta, 107-98 as a 6.5-point favorite. The Celtics are 3-2 their last five games and 2-3 ATS. The Grizzlies have done well on their trips to Boston, evidenced by their 16-6 ATS mark their last 22 trips. I like the Grizzlies here tonight. |
03-03-22 | Penguins +155 v. Lightning | 5-1 | Win | 155 | 9 h 34 m | Show
Eastern Conference matchup here between 2nd place Tampa Bay (76 points) and fifth place Pittsburgh (74 points). Both teams on win streaks as the Lightning have won five straight and the Penguins have won two straight games. Tampa Bay is 8-1-1 in their last 10 games and the Penguins are 6-3-1 last 10 games. The Penguins have been a good road bet, as they are 17-5 in their last 22 away games. They are also 9-4 in their last 13 games vs a team with a winning record. Penguins at +1.50 or there about looks like a good live dog bet for me tonight. |
03-03-22 | Illinois-Chicago v. IUPU Ft Wayne -5.5 | 72-78 | Win | 100 | 19 h 18 m | Show
The Illinois Chicago Flames are 14-15 this season overall as we enter Horizon League Play. The Flames have won four straight games and are 3-1 ATS. The Flames have the 8th ranked offense and 10th ranked defense in the conference. They give up a conference high 38.2% 3-point shots. Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne is 20-10 and have a nine game winning streak. They have also covered six straight games and eight of their last nine games. The Mastadons have the best defensive efficiency in the conference. They also have the best 3-point shooting team at 38.1%. Couple that with the Ill Chicago terrible 3-point defense and this looks a key spot for IPFW. Take the Mastadons here today. |

03-03-22 | Oakland +4.5 v. Wright State | 63-75 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 4 m | Show
Horizon League Quarterfinals here tonight has Oakland taking on Wright State here tonight. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are 20-11 on the season and have won their last two games. They are coming off a win over IUPUI, 69-58, but failed to cover the 23.5 point spread. The Grizzlies have a well balanced team, ranked fourth in both offensive and defensive efficiency in the Horizon League. They have the top free throw shooting team in the league (80.1%) and the best 3-point defense in the league (30.8%). Wright State is 18-13 on the season and have won their last two games, including last time out vs Robert Morris, 71-61, as a 12.5 point favorite. I'll take Oakland plus the points here tonight. |
03-03-22 | Florida Atlantic v. Florida International OVER 140 | 71-51 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 3 m | Show
Florida Atlantic Owls are 15-13 on the season and coming off a win at Charlotte, 74-69. They have gone over in eight of their last 10 games. They are also 4-1-1 O/U in their last six away games. Florida International Golden Panthers are 15-14 on the season. They are coming off a loss at Old Dominion, 63-83, as a 8-point dog. They went over in that game and are now 8-3 O/U their last 11 games. FIU is 5-1 O/U in their last six home games. I look for this game to go over the total tonight. |
03-02-22 | Miami-FL -4 v. Boston College | 81-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
ACC action here today as we close out the regular season and teams ready for their tournament. Miami Florida is 4th in the conference with a 12-6 record. They will face 11th seeded Boston College who is 6-12 on the season. Miami Hurricanes are 20-9 overall and look like a good bet to make the NCAA either way. They are coming off a loss to Virginia Tech, 70-71, as a 1-point favorite. The Canes are 8-5 ATS their last 13 games. The Canes have been good on the road, covering seven of their last eight away games. Boston College is 11-17 overall and is coming off a loss to Clemson, 60-70, as a pick'em. They are now 2-6 S/U their last eight games. Miami only laying four points here today. Feeling is they want to secure every win possible to solidify that NCAA bid. Play Miami. |
03-02-22 | Kings v. Pelicans -5.5 | 95-125 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show
The Sacramento Kings look to miss the playoffs again this year as they sit at just 23-40 overall and 29-34 ATS on the season. The Kings did snap a four-game losing streak in their last game at Oklahoma City, 131-110, as a 5.5-point favorite. The Kings are just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games. They are also 6-22 ATS in their last 28 games after scoring 125 or more points in their previous game. The New Orleans Pelicans are 25-36 on the season and 31-30 ATS. They have won and covered their last two games, including last time out at the Lakers, 123-95 as a 1-point dog. They are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games as a home favorite. I'm taking the Pelicans here tonight. |
03-02-22 | SIU-Edwardsville v. Tennessee State -3.5 | Top | 62-77 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show |
Ohio Valley First Round tourney action here today has SIU Edwardsville taking on Tennessee State from the Ford Center in Evansville, IN. The SIU Cougars are coming off a win over Morehead State, 77-70, as a 10.5-point dog. They are 2-3 S/U their last five games and 5-2 ATS their last seven games. The Cougars have the 8th ranked efficient offense in the conference. They are also 8th in 3-point percentage (31.2) and 7th in 2-point percentage (47.2). Tennessee State is coming off a loss at Belmont, 67-87, as a 16-point dog. The Tigers had covered six straight before that spread loss to Belmont. The Cougars are 6th in both offense and defensive efficiency in the conference. They have the top free throw shooting team (74.1%) and that can help cover these spreads late in the game. I'll take the Cougars here today as they have the better balanced team. |
03-02-22 | Duquesne v. George Washington -6.5 | 93-98 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 39 m | Show
Duquesne looks to put away this season and forget about it after a dismal 6-21 record. They are also 0-14 S/U and 2-12 ATS their last 14 games. They have almost no offense, scoring more than 59 points just three times in their last 13 games. In the Kenpom efficiency ratings they are dead last in the conference in offense. They are also last in both 3-point and 2-point shooting. George Washington isn't having a good season either with just a 11-16 overall record. The Colonials have lost two straight games but have split their last eight at 4-4. They are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. Neither team is very good, however with GW having Senior Honors here tonight at homecoming the atmosphere will be inclined toward a GW blowout win. Play George Washington. |
03-02-22 | Notre Dame -2 v. Florida State | 70-74 | Loss | -117 | 7 h 38 m | Show
Notre Dame sits second in the ACC with a 14-4 record and 21-8 overall mark after winning their last two games. They will take on 9th place Florida State which is 8-10 in conference and 15-13 overall. Notre Dame has won two straight and seven of their last eight games. They are also 6-2 ATS their last eight. The Irish have also covered their last five road games. Florida State won its last game at Virginia, upsetting the Cavs 64-63, as a 8.5-point dog. Still, they are just 2-8 S/U and 1-9 ATS their last 10 games. Take Notre Dame here today. |
03-01-22 | Mavs -5 v. Lakers | Top | 109-104 | Push | 0 | 10 h 50 m | Show |
The Dallas Mavericks head to LA tonight to face the Lakers at the Staples Center. The Mavs are 36-25 overall on the season and 34-26-1 vs the spread. The Mavs are coming off a road win over Golden State, 107-101 as a 3.5-point dog. That makes them 3-1 S/U and 4-0 on this current road trip. The Lakers are just 27-33 on the season both S/U and ATS. They have lost two straight games since the second half of the season started, 102-105 to the Clippers and last game 95-123 at home to the Pelicans. They are now 1-5 S/U their last six games and 2-4 ATS their six. Lakers will be without Anthony Davis today who is out with an ankle injury, while LeBron James is back and is probable with a knee injury. Mavs playing very well and I'll lay the points at LA with the Mavs. |
03-01-22 | St Bonaventure v. VCU -4.5 | 51-74 | Win | 100 | 5 h 32 m | Show
St Bonaventure Bonnies are 19-7 and looking for that 20th win here tonight at VCU. The Bonnies are riding a seven game win streak as they enter play here tonight and are coming off a win at St Joe's, 54-52, as a 7-point favorite. The VCU Rams are 20-7 and also have a win streak on the line here tonight. The Rams have won seven games in a row and are 4-2 ATS their last six games. VCU has the second most efficient defense in the conference. They are also ranked 1st in 3-point defense (28.5%) and 5th in 2-point defense (47.3%). VCU has some revenge on the line here tonight as they lost at St Bonnies on January 14, 73-53. Both teams have win streaks here tonight and the Bonnies did win by 20-points in the first meeting. However, they also had 19 more free throws in that game. It's senior day at VCU and with some revenge on their minds I'll take the hosts in this one. |
03-01-22 | Ole Miss +17 v. Kentucky | 72-83 | Win | 100 | 7 h 50 m | Show
SEC action today has Ole Miss taking on the Wildcats in Kentucky. Kentucky is 2nd in the SEC with a 12-4 record while Ole Miss is near the bottom with a 4-12 record. Ole Miss Rebels are 13-16 overall on the season and have lost two straight games including last time out to Texas A&M, 66-76 as a 1.5-point favorite. That makes them 1-6 S/U and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. Kentucky is 23-6 overall and is coming off a loss at Arkansas, 73-75, as a 2-point dog. They are 2-2 their last four games and 1-2-1 ATS. The WildCats will finish their regular season on Saturday with a game at Florida. Cats are really in no danger of making the NCAA tourney and laying 17-points here today is probably more than they need to lay. I look for them to win here tonight but not cover this big line. Play Ole Miss. |
03-01-22 | Providence +9.5 v. Villanova | 74-76 | Win | 100 | 6 h 20 m | Show
Providence and Villanova fighting over the Big East conference title. Providence is in 1st place with a 14-2 conference record while Villanova is in 2nd with a 14-4 mark. The Providence Friars are 24-3 on the season and have won three straight after their loss to Villanova at home back on Feb 15th, 84-89. Other than that loss the Friars are 11-1 over their last 12 games. Villanova Wildcats are 21-7 overall on the season and are coming off a loss at U Conn, 69-71, as a 2.5-point dog. They are now 14-3 over their last 17 games. Providence ranks third in offense and fourth in defense in the league. Villanova is 1st in offense and 2nd in defense in the league. Still, Providence getting 9 1/2 point here today? That just seems way too many to me for a team leading the conference and having the revenge factor too. I'll take those points. |
02-28-22 | UCLA v. Washington +8.5 | 77-66 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 36 m | Show
UCLA sits third in the PAC-12 standings with a 13-5 conference record and 21-6 overall mark. They will take on 6th place Washington, which has a 9-8 conference record and 14-13 overall record. The Bruins rebounded from a loss at Oregon on with a win over Oregon State, 94-55, as a 12.5-point favorite. That was the Bruins fourth win in their last five games both S/U and ATS. UCLA is 7-3 as an away favorite, but only 5-5 vs the spread. UCLA has the PAC-12's 2nd most efficient offense and top rated defense. The Huskies snapped a four game losing streak with a win last game vs Washington State, 78-70 as a 4-point dog. The one big problem I see for this UCLA team is their role as a road favorite. They are just 18-40-1 their last 59 games as a road favorite. Washington is 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games and 13-6 ATS their last 19 games as a dog. In addition, the home team has covered six of the last eight games in this series. I'll take the 8 points with Washington here tonight. |
02-28-22 | San Diego State v. Wyoming +2 | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 49 m | Show |
Mountain West action here tonight has two of the top conference teams meeting in Laramie. Boise State leads the conference with a 14-2 record, Wyoming is in 2nd at 12-3 and San Diego State is 4th at 10-4. Four teams in this conference have a great chance of making the NCAA so every win is important. This game probably means more to the San Diego State Aztecs, as they sit at 18-7 and unless they win the conference tourney they are a bubble team to make the NCAA. They are coming off a win over San Jose State, 77-52, as a 21.5-pint favorite. They have won six of their last seven games with their only loss at Boise State, 57-58, as a 2-point dog. They have covered four straight games. Offense has always been an issue for this team and it is again this year as they have just the 8th ranked efficient offense in the conference. However, defense has always been excellent and it's ranked 1st in the Mountain West again. They rank first in six defensive categories. Wyoming is 23-5 and should be a NCAA team no matter what. They have split their last four games at 2-2 S/U. They rebounded from a loss to Colorado State with a home win over Nevada, 74-61, as a 7-point favorite. Wyoming is a perfect 13-0 at home and yet tonight they find themselves a 2-point dog. I understand the line as the oddsmaker figures SDG State needs this game. However, I feel that Wyoming will not just give in and will want to keep that perfect record before their home crowd. The altitude is high in Laramie and that will also have a factor. I'll take Wyoming as a home dog here tonight. |
02-28-22 | Bulls v. Heat -4 | 99-112 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show
The Chicago Bulls are 39-22 overall on the season and 36-25 vs the spread. The Bulls had their six game win streak snapped last game at home vs Memphis, 110-116, as a 2-point dog. While the Bulls have done well vs the spread, they are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games as a dog. The Miami Heat are 40-21 on the season and 34-25-2 vs the spread. They have won three straight games and eight of their last nine games. The Heat have covered four of the last five games in this series. I look for the Heat to cover the four-point spread here tonight on their home court. Play Miami. |
02-27-22 | Illinois v. Michigan +1 | 93-85 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 46 m | Show
Early Big 10 action here on Sunday has Illinois taking on Michigan. Illinois is 3rd in the Big 10 with a 12-5 record, while Michigan sits 7th with a 9-7 record. Illinois Fighting Illini are 19-8 overall on the season and going for that 20th win here today at Michigan. The Illini are coming off a loss to Ohio State, 83-86 and have lost three of their last five games overall. The Illini have the 5th most efficient offense and the 2nd defense. Michigan is 15-11 and will need to likely do very well in the Big 10 conference tourney if they hope to make the NCAA tourney. The Wolverines are coming off a win over Rutgers, 71-62, as a 5-point home favorite. Michigan has the 4th most efficient offense in the league while they rank just 12th in defense. Two very good offenses here today, but I give a lot to the home court factor with Michigan. Play Michigan. |
02-27-22 | 76ers -7.5 v. Knicks | Top | 125-109 | Win | 100 | 2 h 55 m | Show |
The early game on the NBA schedule today has the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the Knicks at New York. The Sixers are 36-23 overall and 29-30 vs the spread. They started the 2nd half of the season in fine fashion with a blowout win at Minnesota, 133-102, as a 2-point favorite. They have won four of their last five games and covered three of the last four. The Sixers are also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 5-2 ATS when the road favorite. The Knicks have struggled to a 25-35 record this season. They have lost four straight games and eight of their last nine both SU and ATS. They started the 2nd half of the season with a blowout home loss to Miami, 110-115, as a 5.5-point dog. The Knicks are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games as a dog. The Knicks have not been good, especially at covering spreads. I'll take Philly today in what should be another blowout. |
02-26-22 | Wild v. Flames -145 | 3-7 | Win | 100 | 10 h 18 m | Show
Western Conference clash between two of the top tier teams and 3rd place Calgary hosts fourth place Minnesota. Calgary has been red hot, winning nine of their last 10 games and have the 2nd best goal differential in the Conference with a +49. Minnesota is 5-5 in their last 10 games and has a +37 goal differential. The Flames lead the Wild by just one point in a crowded West where six points separates six teams. I like Calgary on their hot streak here today. Play Calgary. |
02-26-22 | Nevada v. Wyoming -7 | 61-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
The Mountain West is a very competitive conference this year and any team can win it and the tournament. Boise State is in first place and Wyoming is right behind in 2nd place with a 11-3 conference record and 22-5 overall mark. Nevada is not a team that has much chance though, as they sit 8th with a 6-9 record and 12-14 overall mark. The Nevada Wolfpack are coming off a loss to instate rival UNLV, 54-62, making the first time in many years that they lost both games to UNLV in one season. That loss snapped a three game win streak, though that streak did have a pair of wins of a very bad San Jose State team. The Pack is now 3-7 S/U and ATS their last 10 games. Meanwhile, Wyoming making a big push for that NCAA bid as they have 22 wins thus far even after losing their last game at Colorado State, 55-61, as a 6.5-point dog. The Cowboys are 7-2 S/U and ATS in their last nine games. The Cowboys have the top offensive efficient team in the conference and are 2nd in Free Throws (76.6%) and 2nd in 2-point field goals (55.7%). Wyoming only laying about 7-points tonight looks like one of the best bargains of the day. Play Wyoming. |
02-26-22 | Wisconsin v. Rutgers -2 | Top | 66-61 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 12 m | Show |
Big 10 action here on Saturday has Wisconsin taking on Rutgers. Wisconsin has won three straight games and five of their last six. They are 2nd in the Big 10 with a 13-4 record and 22-5 overall record. They are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. Wisconsin has the 8th ranked efficient offense in the Big 10 and the 3rd ranked defense. Rutgers is 16-11 overall on the season and 6th in the conference with a 10-7 mark. They look to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping games at Purdue, 72-84, and at Michigan, 62-71. They return home where they are 13-2 S/U and 9-5-1 ATS on the season. They have the fourth ranked efficient defense in the Big 10. I like Rutgers on their home court here today. Play Rutgers. |
02-26-22 | Loyola-Chicago v. Northern Iowa +2.5 | 96-102 | Win | 100 | 6 h 11 m | Show
Loyola sits atop the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 13-4 record and 22-6 overall mark. Northern Iowa right on their heals, also at 13-4 in conference and 17-10 overall. The Loyola Ramblers have won two straight games including last game vs Evansville, 82-31, as a 21-point favorite. They have still covered just three of their last 12 games. Loyola has the third most efficient offense and the top defense. Northern Iowa Panthers have won three straight games including last game at Indiana State, 88-82, as a 6-point favorite. The Panthers have the second most efficient offense in the conference and 5th defense. They have the top free throw shooting team (82.2%), 2nd in 2-point FG% (55.6%) and third in 3-point FG% (36.4%). NIU getting a couple of points on their home floor here today. This should be a great game, I'll take the host in this one. |
02-26-22 | North Carolina -3.5 v. NC State | 84-74 | Win | 100 | 2 h 13 m | Show
ACC action here today has rivals North Carolina taking on North Carolina State. North Carolina Tar Heels are 20-8, hitting that 20 win mark last game when they beat Louisville, 70-63, but failing to cover the 9.5-point line. They have won two in a row and four of their last five games. However, they have covered just two of their last six games. North Carolina ranks 4th in efficiency in the ACC in both offense and defense. They have the top free throw shooting team with a 77.5% mark. NC State won't be going to any post season tourneys as they sit just 11-17 overall on the season. They are coming off a loss to Boston College, 61-69, as a 6-point favorite. That makes them just 2-9 S/U and ATS their last 11 games. NC State has a horrible defense, ranked last in efficiency in the ACC, last in 3-point FG% on defense (40.2%) and 14th in 2-point defense (52.9%). I'm a bit shocked at NCU laying just 4-points here. I realize this is a rivalry game, but the dog needs something and I see them as being totally mismatched here today. Take North Carolina. |
02-25-22 | Texas State v. Troy State +2 | 66-61 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Two of the top Sun Belt teams butt heads here tonight as Troy host Texas State. Texas State tops the conference with a 11-3 mark and 20-6 overall record. Troy comes in third with a 10-5 mark and 19-9 overall record. Texas State Bobcats bring a eight game win streak into tonight's contest. They have also covered their last six games. They are coming off a win over South Alabama, 55-52 as a 3-point road dog. The Cats have the conference's top efficient offense and lead the league in 3-point fg% at 37.8%. They are 3rd in defense. The Troy Trojans are coming off a win over UT Arlington, 59-53 as a 4.5-point favorite. They are 6-2 S/U and 5-3 ATS their last eight games. Troy has the Sun Belts 2nd most efficient defense and is top four in defensive 3point and 2-point fg%. This looks to be the State offense vs the Troy defense here tonight. With Troy at home and getting a couple of points, I'll take the Trojans. |
02-25-22 | Heat -5 v. Knicks | Top | 115-100 | Win | 100 | 9 h 37 m | Show |
The Miami Heat begin the second half of the NBA season and look to build on a fine first half that saw them go 38-21 S/U and 33-24-2 ATS. The Heat closed out the 1st half winning six of their last seven games. The Knicks hope the 2nd half of their season is better than the first after a 25-34 record and last place in the Eastern Division. They were 2-11 S/U their last 13 games and 2-9 ATS their last 11 games. The Knicks are just 1-6 ATS in their last seven as a dog. The Heat have covered seven of the last nine in this series and four of the last five in New York. I'll take them again here tonight. Play the Heat. |
02-24-22 | UCLA v. Oregon +3.5 | Top | 63-68 | Win | 100 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
PAC-12 action here tonight has UCLA taking on Oregon. UCLA hit that 20-win mark in their last game, a win over Arizona State, 66-52, as a 13.5 point favorite. That was their third win in a row both S/U and ATS. Even with that, they are just 4-3 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Oregon is 17-10 overall on the season and looks to snap a two-game losing streak here at home tonight. The Ducks are coming off a pair of road losses in Arizona to ASU, 57-81, and then last game to AU, 81-84. The Ducks have the fourth best efficient offense in the PAC-12. They are 2nd overall in 2-point FG% (51.8%) and fourth in 3-point FG% (33.4%). I'll take the points at home tonight with the Ducks. |
02-24-22 | Celtics -8.5 v. Nets | 129-106 | Win | 100 | 7 h 60 m | Show
The 2nd half of the NBA season starts tonight and the Eastern conference Celtics and Nets clash. The Celtics are 6th right now in the East and the Nets are 8th. The Celtics are 34-26 overall and 30-28-2 ATS. They finished the first half strong, going 11-2 their last 13 games and 8-4-1 ATS. The Nets are 31-28 after the first half ended, but only 22-35-2 vs the spread. They were just 2-12 S/U and 4-9-1 ATS their last 14 games. Despite the All-Star break, the Nets will still be without two of their stars as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are both expected out tonight. Second half of the season looks to start the same way the first did for the Nets. I'll lay the price with Boston tonight. |
02-24-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne +6.5 v. Oakland | 81-70 | Win | 100 | 7 h 25 m | Show
Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons are 18-10 on the season and bring a seven game win streak into today's contest. They are also 6-1 ATS in those last seven games. They are coming off a win at Wisc-Milwaukee, 81-71, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Mastodons have the top defense in the conference overall. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are also 18-10 and are looking to break a 2-game losing streak here tonight. They are coming off a loss to Northern Kentucky, 66-71, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Grizzlies have not done well for bettors, evidenced by their 1-9 ATS mark their last 10 spread games. I like the visitors here tonight who have been covering spreads. Play IPFW. |
02-24-22 | Youngstown State +7 v. Wright State | 71-84 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 30 m | Show
Youngstown State Penguins look to improve their win streak to three games tonight as they take on Wright State. The Penguins are coming off a win over Indiana Purdue, 74-61, as a 17.5-point favorite. They are now 8-1 S/U their last nine games and 8-4 ATS their last 12 games. Wright State Raiders are 16-13 on the season and coming off a loss at Detroit-Mercy, 75-80 as a 1-point favorite. That makes three losses in their last four games both S/U and ATS. The Raiders are only 4-9 ATS their last 13 games vs a team with a winning straight-up record. Wright State is a 7-point favorite here tonight and I believe that is way too many points against a very good Youngstown squad. Take Youngstown State. |
02-23-22 | Rutgers +5 v. Michigan | 62-71 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show
Big 10 action tonight has 5th place Rutgers (10-6) taking on 8th place Michigan (8-7). The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 16-10 overall and had their four-game win streak snapped last game at Purdue, 72-84, as a 12.5-point dog. The Knights have covered six straight games though. Unless Michigan comes out big in the Big 10 tourney, they likely won't go to the NCAA tourney with a 14-11 record. The Wolverines are coming off a loss at Wisconsin, 63-77 as a 3-point dog. They are just 3-3 S/U and ATS in their last six games. Michigan laying around 5-points tonight and for me I can Rutgers winning this game outright. I'll take the points with Rutgers. |
02-23-22 | TCU +9 v. Texas | 66-75 | Push | 0 | 7 h 30 m | Show
Big 12 clash here on Wednesday has TCU taking on Texas. TCU and Texas right next to each other in the Big 12 with Texas 4th at 8-6 and TCU 5th at 6-7. TCU Horned Frogs are 17-8 overall on the season and snapped a 3-game losing streak in their last game against West Virginia, 77-67, as a 4-point favorite. The Frogs have done well covering spreads, going 9-4 ATS their last 13 and 13-5 ATS their last 18 games. Texas is 19-8 overall and coming off a loss at home to Texas Tech, 55-61, as a 4-point favorite. The Longhorns have lost two of their last three games and are 4-7 ATS their last 11 games. TCU getting 8.5-points here tonight. I believe that's too many for Texas to lay. Take TCU. |

02-23-22 | West Virginia v. Iowa State -5 | 81-84 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 2 m | Show
West Virginia looks to keep its head above the .500 line with a win tonight at Iowa State. The 14-13 Mountaineers have lost four straight games both S/U and ATS including last time out at TCU, 67-77 as a 4-point dog. WVU is now just 1-11 S/U and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games. Their one win came at home against this Iowa State team, 79-63, as a 3.5-point favorite. The Iowa State Cyclones are 18-9 and bring a two-game win streak into this contest. They are coming off a blowout win over Oklahoma, 75-54 as a 1.5-point favorite. I look for Iowa State to avenge that loss to WVU here tonight. Play Iowa State. |
02-23-22 | Mississippi State v. South Carolina +2.5 | Top | 56-66 | Win | 100 | 7 h 1 m | Show |
Both these clubs pretty evenly matched with both having won 16 games on the season. Both are 7-7 in conference play and sit right in the middle of the SEC pack. Miss State Bulldogs have won two straight games, including their contest at Missouri, 58-56, as a 4-point favorite. Still, they are just 3-6 S/U and 5-4 ATS their last nine games. South Carolina Gamecocks have won three straight games, including last time out vs LSU, 77-75, as a 4.5-point home dog. They have covered four straight and seven of their last nine games. They lost to the Bulldogs back on Feb 1st, 64-78, as a 8.5-point road dog. Not sure why Miss State is a small favorite here tonight. I have it the other way around. However, I'll gladly take the few points with South Carolina. |
02-22-22 | Alabama v. Vanderbilt +4.5 | 74-72 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
SEC action tonight has Alabama taking on Vandy. Alabama brings a 17-10 overall record into tonight's contest and is off a loss at Kentucky, 81-90, as a 5.5-point dog. The Crimson Tide are just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games. Vandy has a 14-12 overall record and is coming off a win over Texas A&M, 72-67, as a 3.5-point favorite. They are 4-1-1 ATS their last six games. This has been a close series with 17 of the last 18 meetings between these teams decided by 10 points or fewer and 10 of those games by five points or fewer. I look for Vandy to cover here tonight and really look for an outright win from the Commodores. |
02-22-22 | Richmond v. George Washington +6.5 | 84-71 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 42 m | Show
The Richmond Spiders hope to make a late season push to get to that 20-win mark, but it starts here tonight at George Washington. The Spider have lost two of their last three games, including last game at VCU, 57-77, as a 3-point dog. They are also 0-3-1 ATS their last four games. George Washington won't be going anywhere this post season with just a 11-14 overall record. So these games mean something to them as we come down the stretch. The Colonials have played well lately, winning their last two games and three of their last four games. They are coming off a win over Rhode Island, 72-61, as a 4-point home dog. But what I really like about this GW team is that they know how to cover spreads. They are 9-2 ATS their last 11 games. They are also 7-3-1 ATS at home this year and 3-1-1 as a home dog. Richmond is laying 7-points here and really they better not take this GW team lightly or they will lose the game outright. Take the points with GW. |
02-22-22 | Arkansas v. Florida | Top | 82-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
Arkansas looks to solidify its hold on a NCAA bid as they play at Florida tonight. The Razorbacks are 21-6 overall on the season and have won two straight after losing to Alabama back on Feb 12. They are coming off a win over Tennessee, 58-48, as a 2-point favorite. The hogs have now covered eight straight games and 11 of their last 12 games. They have the number one defense in the SEC and are ranked first in defensive 3-poing FG% (28.6%) and 2nd in two-point FG% (44.8%). The Florida Gators are 17-10 overall on the season and snapped a two-game losing streak with a win in their last game over Auburn, 63-62, as a 4.5-point dog. Florida is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games. Unlike Arkansas, Florida is ranked 10th overall in the SEC in defense. Pick'em game here tonight means we just need to win the game and I look to Arkansas to do just that. Play Arkansas. |
02-22-22 | Buffalo v. Miami-OH OVER 155.5 | 86-84 | Win | 100 | 7 h 39 m | Show
MAC action here on Tuesday has Buffalo taking on Miami Ohio. The Buffalo Bills are 15-8 S/U and 12-10 ATS on the season. They are coming off a win over Western Michigan, 87-73, as a 19-point favorite. The game also went over the 146.5 total. Buffalo has the 2nd best offense in the MAC. They are 2nd in 2-point FG% and third in 3-point FG%. They are also 1st in offensive rebounds at 38.9%. The Miami Redhawks are 12-14 S/U overall. They aare coming off a win over Northern Illinois, 78-75. They have gone over in three straight games. The defense isn't very good, ranking 9th in the MAC, 11th in defensive 3-point FG% and 8th in 2-point FG%. Miami has a 7-3 O/U record in their last 10 home games as a dog. I'm going to take this game OVER tonight. |
02-21-22 | Penn State +3 v. Maryland | Top | 61-67 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 32 m | Show |
Penn State looks to get back to the .500 mark tonight with a road win at Maryland. The Nittany Lions have won two straight games including last game vs Minnesota, 67-46, as a 5-point favorite. The Lions don't have much of an offense, ranking 12th in the Big 10 conference. However, the defense is one of the better ones, ranking 6th overall in the conference and 1st in 2-point defensive field goal percentage of 44.4%. Therefore, it's not surprising that they have held four of their last five opponents to 58 points or fewer. Maryland not having a good year either at 12-14 overall. The Terrapins are 12th in the conference with a 4-11 conference mark. The offense ranks 7th and the defense is 12th overall in the Big 10. In fact, the Terps are 9th or worst in most defensive categories in the Big 10. Penn State is 4-1 ATS in their last five as a dog. Maryland just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games as a home favorite and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games. I'll take the 3-points with Penn State tonight. |
02-20-22 | Rutgers +12.5 v. Purdue | 72-84 | Win | 100 | 17 h 14 m | Show
Two of the Big 10's top four teams meet here today has conference leader Purdue (12-4) takes on 4th place Rutgers (10-5). The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 16-9 overall on the season and have won four straight games, including last time at home over Illinois, 70-59, as a 4-point dog. The Knights have also covered five straight games. Rutgers has the 8th ranked offense in the conference and the 3rd ranked defense. Purdue one of the teams looking for a top seed in the NCAA tournament at 23-4 overall. They have won two straight games and eight of their last nine games. They haven't been great at covering spreads though, evidenced by their 2-4-1 ATS mark their last seven games. Purdue has the Big 10's top offense with the exception of free throws as they rank dead last at just 67.6%. However, the defense is only 10th in the Big 10 as they allow 35.3% from the 3-point arc (9th) and 50.4% from 2-pointers (8th). The one thing I like here is that Rutgers is a good team playing a average at best defense that has had trouble covering spreads. I'll take the double digits with Rutgers. |
02-20-22 | Rangers -1.5 v. Senators | 2-1 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 53 m | Show
Eastern Conference action here today has the NY Rangers taking on the Ottawa Senators. The Rangers are in 6th place in the East with 67 points. They are also on a 6-3-1 run their last 10 games. They had their three game win streak snapped last game vs Detroit, 2-3. The Senators are 12th in the East with 41 points and are 5-4-1 their last 10 games. The Senators are coming off a loss to Boston 2-3 and are 2-4 their last six games. I'm going to lay the puckline today with the Rangers. |
02-20-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne -4 v. Wisc-Milwaukee | Top | 81-71 | Win | 100 | 14 h 44 m | Show |
Horizon League action here today has IPFW taking on Wisconsin Milwaukee. Fort Wayne is 4th in the the conference with a 12-6 record and 17-10 mark overall. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is 9th with a 7-12 record and 9-19 overall record. The Fort Wayne Mastadons bring a six game win streak into today's contest after beating Wisconsin Green Bay last time, 74-55, as a 5-point road favorite. they have also covered five of their last six games. While the offense is only 8th in the conference, the defense ranks number one. They have the top defense in limiting offensive rebounds at 27.1% and tops in takeaways at 22.5%. Milwaukee Panthers are coming off a loss to Cleveland State, 61-78, as a 6-point dog. That makes them 2-7 S/U and ATS in their last nine games. The offense ranks 10th in the conference and the defense ranks 8th. Fort Wayne laying four looks like a bargain price to me. Play IPFW. |
02-20-22 | Providence -3.5 v. Butler | 71-70 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 37 m | Show
The Providence Friars look very good for a NCAA berth this year as they sit at 21-3 on the season. The Friars suffered just their third loss of the season in their last game to Villanova, 84-89, as a 4-point home dog. That loss snapped a eight game win streak. Providence has the fourth ranked offense in the conference and the 6th ranked defense. Butler will need to win their conference tourney if they hope to make the NCAA's this year as they sit at just 13-14 overall. The Bulldogs are coming off a loss at St Johns, 57-91 as a 7.5 point dog. That makes them 2-4 their last six games. They are also 4-9 ATS at home this year in 13 spread games. Butler has the 10th ranked offense and 9th ranked defense in the conference. They are dead last in 3-point FG% at 30.1% and 10th in Free throws. Providence laying a good number here on the road at just 3.5-points. I'll take the Friars at that price. |
02-19-22 | Kings -175 v. Coyotes | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show
The LA Kings pulled an unlikely win last night in Vegas. Vegas has dominated the Kings since they came into the league and last night Vegas led 3-1 in the third when the Kings rallied for two goals to tie the game and send it to OT. In the extra period the Kings go the winner and the full points. That makes three wins in their last four games where they have scored at least four games in those wins. They take on a poor Arizona team here today. The Coyotes are coming off a loss to Tampa Bay, 3-4. That makes them just 2-8 their last 10 games. LA has momentum and they picked the perfect team to keep it going here on Saturday. Play the Kings. |
02-19-22 | Colorado State -4.5 v. UNLV | 51-72 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 37 m | Show
Colorado State has NCAA hopes as they sit 21-3 overall on the season. Even without a COnference Tournament Championship they look in good shape as they play in Las Vegas tonight. The Rams have won five straight games including last time at New Mexico, 83-68. They have also covered four straight games. They also have revenge tonight having lost to this UNLV team on their home court back on Jan 28th, 74-88. UNLV is 15-12 and will need to win their tourney to get into the NCAA's. They are coming off a win over Fresno, 60-57 as a 6-point dog. This team has won two or more games in row just once since December. I'm taking the Rams in a revenge mode here today. |
02-19-22 | Norfolk State -2 v. Coppin State | 89-59 | Win | 100 | 5 h 38 m | Show
Jim doesn't play extra games much, so you know when he does he sees something that has tipped the scale. Today Norfolk State take on Coppin State. The Norfold State Spartans are 16-5 S/U on the season and have a two game win streak after beating Delware State 69-66 as a 14-point favorite. The Spartans are now 8-1 S/U and 5-3-1 ATS in their last nine games. Norfolk is 1st in both offense and defensive efficiency in the conference. They lead most categories in offense and offense and look like the team to beat this year. The Coppin State Eagles are just 5-19 on the year and have lost three straight games. The defense is all right but the offense needs help. This looks like a Norfolk blowout to me. |
02-19-22 | Troy State +4.5 v. Coastal Carolina | 63-73 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 37 m | Show
The Troy Trojans look to make it two in a row as they play at Coastal Carolina here today. The Trojans are coming off a win over App State, 67-61, as a 3.5-point road dog. That makes them 18-8 overall and 5-1 S/U and 4-2 ATS in their last six games. This has been a terrific road team this year, going 8-5 S/U and 9-4 ATS on the season. The strength of this team is their defense, ranked 2nd in efficiency in the conference. They also have the third best 3-point defense (30.5%). This team can shoot free throws too, ranked tops in the conference at 76.7%. They take on a Coastal Carolina team that looks to keep their heads above water sitting at 13-12 overall. They are just 1-4 both S/U and ATS in their last five games. I'm going to take the points with a good road team in Troy here today. |
02-19-22 | Akron -4.5 v. Eastern Michigan | Top | 67-48 | Win | 100 | 5 h 37 m | Show |
MAC action here today has 5th place Akron (9-6) taking on 11th place Eastern Michigan (4-11). The Akron Zips are 15-9 overall and look to break a 3-game losing streak here today. They are coming off a loss against Northern Illinois, 63-66, as a 12-point home favorite. Akron ranks better than their record in both offense (4th) and defense (5th). This is a decent offensive team, 2nd in the MAC in 2-point FG% at 52.6%. They will take on a poor Eastern Michigan team that is 9-17 overall and coming off a loss to Buffalo, 69-83, as a 10.5-point dog. The Eagles are 1-6 S/U and 2-5 ATS their last seven games. Eastern has the conferences worst defense in efficiency and worst in offensive rebounds and worst in 3-point FG% at just 31.3%. The defense is a big better, but still in the latter half of the conference in most areas. I'll take Akron here today and lay the points. |
02-19-22 | Auburn -4.5 v. Florida | 62-63 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 38 m | Show
No 2 ranked Auburn is 24-2 and looks to solidify one of those four top NCAA seeds as they play today on the road at Florida. The Tigers have won two straight since losing to Arkansas on Feb 8th, 76-80. They are coming off a win over Vandy, 94-80, just covering the 13.5-point line. They have already beaten Florida once this year on their home court, 85-73 as a 8.5-point favorite. The Tigers have done well covering spreads, going 12-3 ATS their last 15 games. Florida is 16-10 overall on the season and riding a two-game losing streak after losses to Kentucky and then last game at Texas A&M, 55-56. The Gators have also not been kind to bettors, going 0-5 their last five games. I'm taking Auburn here today as they look to show their dominance. |
02-19-22 | Notre Dame +6 v. Wake Forest | 74-79 | Win | 100 | 2 h 39 m | Show
ACC contest here today has two of the best in the conference meeting up. Notre Dame is 19-7 overall on the season and looking to extend their win streak to six in a row today and 10 of the last 11 games. The Irish take on 20-7 Wake Forest here today. Wake looks to have punched their ticket to the NCAA no matter what, but more wins will just solidify that. They are coming off a pair of losses in a row, including a loss at Duke, 74-76 as a 9.5-point dog. Wake is laying 6-points here today. Should be an excellent game, but I'll take the points with the dog in this one. |
02-19-22 | Texas Tech +3.5 v. Texas | 61-55 | Win | 100 | 2 h 20 m | Show
Texas Tech hit that magical 20-win mark last game with a win over Baylor, 83-73, as a 2-point favorite. It was their second win in a row and fifth in their last six games. They have been great at covering spreads, going 8-1 last nine games and 12-2 ATS their last 14 games. The Red Raiders take on the equally good Texas Longhorns today who go for that 20th win today. The Longhorns are 19-7 and coming off a win over Oklahoma, 80-78, as a 1-point dog. This looks to be one of the better games today and for me I'll take the 3+ points with the Raiders in this one. Play Texas Tech. |
02-19-22 | Illinois v. Michigan State +1.5 | 79-74 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 17 m | Show
Big 10 action early here on Saturday has Michigan State hosting Illinois. Illinois Fighting Illini are 18-7 overall and 11-4 in the conference, good for third place. Michigan State is 6th in the conference with a 9-5 record and 18-7 overall mark. The Illini are coming off a loss at Rutgers, 59-70 as a 4-point favorite. That makes them 1-2 S/U and 0-3 ATS in their last three games. Michigan State is also coming off a loss at Penn State last game, 58-62, as a 3-point favorite. Illinois has the 5th best offense in the country in efficiency and the first ranked in defense. Michigan State is ranked 6th in offense and 4th in defense. The also have the Big 10's top ranked free throw shooting team at 81% and 2nd best 3-point shooting team at 38.2%. Michigan State lost at Illinois back on Jan25th, 56-55, covering the 2.5-point dog line. I look for another low scoring, tight game here today. I don't believe Michigan State should be a 1.5-point dog though. I'll take the Spartans in this one. |
02-19-22 | TCU +12.5 v. Baylor | 62-72 | Win | 100 | 2 h 51 m | Show
TCU Looks to snap a 2-game losing streak hear early on Saturday as they take on Baylor. The Horned Frogs are coming off a loss against Iowa State last time out, 51-54, as a 4-point favorite. That made them 1-3 both S/U and ATS their last four games. The Frogs are in a crowded Big 12 and need all the wins they can if they hope to make the NCAA tournament. Defending Champion Baylor is 21-5 and coming off a loss at Texas Tech, 73-83, as a 2-point dog. That made them 2-2 both S/U and ATS their last four games. They are also 2-4 ATS their last six games. Baylor laying double digits here today looks like a bit too much to me. I'll take the dog in this one. Play TCU. |
02-18-22 | Stars -150 v. Blackhawks | 1-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 26 m | Show
Western Conference clash tonight as Dallas takes on the Blackhawks in Chicago. Right now neither team looks to be going to the playoffs as Dallas sits 10th and Chicago is 14th. Dallas has won seven of their last 10 games so they are moving up toward that 8th place cutoff. Can't say the same for Chicago who is just 3-6-1 over their last 10 games. Chicago also has the 2nd worst goal differential in the West at -46 goals. Dallas coming off a win over West Conference leader Colorado, 4-1. Chicago coming off a home loss to Columbus, 4-7. I like the surging Stars here tonight. Play Dallas. |
02-18-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne -5 v. Green Bay | 74-55 | Win | 100 | 8 h 50 m | Show
Horizon League action here today as IP Fort Wayne takes on Wisconsin Green Bay. Fort Wayne sits 5th in the conference at 11-6 and 16-10 overall. Green Bay is next to last in the conference with a 3-13 record and overall 4-21 mark. Fort Wayne Mastondons have won five straight games and covered four of those. They are coming off a win over Cleveland State, 102-98 as a 2-point home dog. Fort Wayne has the conference's top defensive unit in efficiency. The offense comes in at 7th overall. Green Bay Phoenix has now lost eight straight games and covered just two of those. With just four wins on the season it's no wonder they are 11th in offense and 10th in defense in the Horizon League. I'll lay the points here on the road against this terrible Green Bay team. |
02-18-22 | Northern Kentucky +1.5 v. Detroit | Top | 52-60 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 50 m | Show |
Northern Kentucky Norse look to build on their three-game in streak here tonight at Detroit Mercy. Norse are also 9-1 S/U and ATS in their last 10 games. The only blemish is against this Detroit team which won back on Feb 5, 7464 at Northern Kentucky. Detroit just 10-13 S/U and riding a two-game losing streak coming into tonight. The Titans are 2-3 S/U and ATS in their last five games. Norse looking for some payback tonight against the only team that has beaten them in the last 10 games. Play Northern Kentucky. |
02-17-22 | Creighton +2.5 v. DePaul | Top | 71-59 | Win | 100 | 11 h 23 m | Show |
Big East action today has 4th place Creighton taking on 10th place Depaul. Creighton is 8-5 in the Big East and 16-8 overall while Depaul is 3-11 in Big East and 12-12 overall. Creighton looks to build on their three-game win streak. Two of those wins coming back-to-back vs Georgetown. Creighton has a very good defense, ranked 1st in efficiency in the Big East. However, they also rank 10th in offense. But defensively they rank 1st in 3-point field goals (29.8%) and 1st in 2-point field goals (429.9%). Depaul hopes to stay above .500 tonight after losing two straight games. They are coming off a loss to Butler, 71-73 as a 5-point favorite. The Blue Demons have just three wins in their last 14 games. DePaul ranks 8th in offense and 10th in defense in the Big East. I like this Creighton defense to shutdown a poor Depaul offense here tonight. Play Creighton. |
02-17-22 | Santa Clara -4.5 v. Loyola Marymount | 84-80 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 37 m | Show
The WCC is known for the conference where Gonzaga usually dominates and this year is no different. Doesn't leave much hope for the other teams to make the NCAA unless they can get an at large bid. That makes all these game important. Santa Clara is 4th in the conference with a 7-4 record and overall 17-9 mark. Loyola is next to last in the WCC with a 2-9 record and 9-14 overall mark. Santa Clara had its four game win streak snapped last game my San Francisco, 58-74, as a pick'em game. The Broncos are now 6-2 S/U and ATS their last eight games. Santa Clara has one of the top 40 offenses in the nation, 4th in the WCC. They have the 2nd best 2-point shooting team and fourth best 3-point team in WCC. Loyola is mired in a losing streak, now seven games long after losing at Portland last game, 76-86 as a 2-point favorite. They are also 2-6 ATS their last eight games. Loyola has the worst defense in the WCC and is last in 3-point and 2-point percentage defense. This defense is horrible overall and that will help Santa Clara to win this one going away. Play Santa Clara. |
02-17-22 | 76ers +6.5 v. Bucks | 123-120 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
The Philadelphia 76ers made one of the big trades in the NBA thus far, getting James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets. Problem is, Harden has a hamstring issue and has yet to play for his new team. The Sixers are 34-23 S/U and 27-30-2 ATS on the season. They had their two game win streak snapped last game in a blowout loss at home to Boston, 87-135, as a 2-point dog. The Sixers usually do well off a loss, evidenced by their 10-2 ATS mark their last 12 in that role. Philly is also 5-0 ATS their last five as a road dog and 6-2 ATS their last eight overall on the road. The Bucks are 36-23 S/U and 27-31-1 ATS on the season. The Bucks snapped a two-game losing streak last time out with a win over Indiana, 128-119, though they failed to cover the 14-point spread. In fact, they are 0-3 ATS their last three games. The Bucks are also 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite. I look for Philly to bounce back after their horrible game last time out. Play Philadelphia. |
02-17-22 | Abilene Christian +1.5 v. Sam Houston State | 71-75 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 7 m | Show
Sam Houston and Abilene Christian trying to improve their WAC Conference standings before their tournament begins in March. Sam Houston is in 3rd in the WAC with a 10-3 record and overall 15-11 mark. ACU is 6th with a 8-5 record and overall 17-7 mark. ACU Wildcats look to extend their win streak to seven games in a row here tonight. They have covered their last two games and 3-3 their last six. The Cats are 6th in the conference in offense and 8th in defense. They have the WAC's 2nd best three throw shooting team at 74.8%. They also don't turn the ball over much (2nd ranked) while tops at taking the ball away. Sam Houston Bearkats have split their last four games both S/U and ATS. They are coming off a win over Chicago State, 72-59, as a 10-point road favorite. Unlike ACU, the Kats have the worst free throw team in the conference, though they do rank decent overall on offense (4th) and defense (4th). This looks to be a close game tonight, but I'll take the visitors in this one. Play Abilene Christian. |
02-17-22 | Old Dominion +2 v. Marshall | 63-67 | Loss | -108 | 5 h 37 m | Show
A pair of Conference USA East teams meet here tonight as 5th place Old Dominion takes on last place Marshall. ODU is 5-7 in conference play and 10-15 overall. Marshall is 2-10 in conference and 9-16 overall. Old Dominion Monarchs snapped a three-game losing streak with a win last game over UAB, 81-72, as a 7.5-point home dog. The Monarchs are middle of the pack in the Conference USA standings both in offense and defense. The Marshall Thundering Herd also snapped a 3-game losing streak with a win at UTEP, 88-79, as a 6-point road dog. They haven't been very good though, posting a 2-13 S/U and ATS record their last 15 overall games. Marshall has the Conference USA's 12th ranked offense and 15th ranked defense. ODU should have little issues against arguably the worst team in the conference tonight. Play Old Dominion. |

02-16-22 | Avalanche v. Golden Knights OVER 6.5 | 2-0 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 48 m | Show
The Colorado Avalanche sit atop the Western Conference standings with 72 points, nine point better than second place Minnesota and 23 better than tonight's opponent, Las Vegas. The Avalanche have a 8-1-1 record their last 10 games and have the best goal differential in the NHL at +56 goals. Vegas is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. They had their three game win streak snapped at Calgary last game, 0-6. Vegas will be without one of their best players and team captain in Mark Stone who is out with a back issue. However, making his first start in over a year is Jack Eichel. The Knights traded for Eichel who had to sit out for about a year with a neck issue before he had surgery three months ago. He's now cleared to play and should provide a big spark for this Vegas team. I look for lots of goals here tonight. Play the OVER. |

02-16-22 | Blazers +11.5 v. Grizzlies | 123-119 | Win | 100 | 8 h 12 m | Show
The Portland Trailblazers are 24-34 S/U and 25-33 ATS on the season. They have won and covered their last three games, including last game at Milwaukee, 122-107 as a 12-point dog. The Memphis Grizzlies are 41-18 S/U and 39-19-1 ATS on the season. The Grizzlies have won six straight games and nine of their last 10 games. They have also gone 8-1-1 ATS their last 10 games. Memphis is a 11.5-point home favorite here tonight. When we examine how the Grizzlies have done as a double-digit home favorite, we see they haven't done well at all. Memphis is 20-35 ATS at home when favored by 10-points or more the last 55 games. Memphis is a very good team, but this double-digit line might be a tad too high. Play Portland. |

02-16-22 | Miami-FL -1.5 v. Louisville | Top | 70-63 | Win | 100 | 7 h 1 m | Show |
ACC action here tonight has the Miami Hurricanes taking on Louisville. The Hurricanes are 18-7 S/U and having a very nice season. They currently sit in 4th in the ACC with a 10-4 conference mark. The Canes are coming off a pair of wins, including a nice upset win at Wake Forest, 76-72, as a 6.5-point dog. The Canes have now won and covered four of their last six games. Miami is one of the better offensive teams in the country, ranked in the top 21. They are 2nd in the ACC where they rank third in three point percentage, 38.1% and 2nd in 2-point percentage, 54.7%. This has been a very uncharacteristic season for the Louisville Cardinals. They are just 11-13 S/U and 7-16-1 ATS. They have lost six straight games and nine of their last 10 games. They are also not covering spreads with a 2-11-1 ATS mark their last 14 games. They rank 11th in offense and 13th in defense in the ACC and there isn't much to be happy about either. I like Miami here as they are the much better team and looking for that NCAA bid this year. Play Miami. |

02-16-22 | Massachusetts +11.5 v. St Bonaventure | 71-83 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 1 m | Show
The Minutemen of U Mass look to climb back to the .500 mark with a win tonight at St Bonnies. U Mass is 11-12 S/U and ATS on the season. They are coming off a win against St Josephs, 69-67, but just failed to cover the 3-point favorite line. That makes two wins in their last three games but only one cover. The St Bonaventure Bonnies are having a nice season with a 15-7 S/U and 8-13-1 ATS mark. The Bonnies are 9-2 S/U at home, but have only a 4-7 spread mark on their home floor. They have won three straight games both S/U and ATS, including two consecutive wins over St Louis. Bonnies laying 11.5-points here tonight. I'm going to take U Mass plus these points. |

02-16-22 | Manhattan +5 v. Fairfield | 74-67 | Win | 100 | 2 h 10 m | Show
Manhattan Jaspers look to stay above the .500 mark here today as they head to Fairfield. The Jaspers are 12-11 S/U on the season and 9-11-2 ATS vs the spread. They snapped a four game losing streak on Sunday at Quinnipiac, 83-66, as a 4.5-point dog. The Jaspers have a decent offense, ranked 5th in the conference. They also boast the conference's top ranked 2-point shooting team with a 53.6% mark. Fairfield can get back to the .500 mark today with a win. They are 12-13 overall on the season and 14-10 vs the spread. They haven't done well at home with a 5-7 S/U and 4-7 ATS spread record. The Stags have won two straight games after their win on Monday vs Canisius, 80-76, as a 6-point favorite. Fairfield ranks third in offense and 7th in defense in the conference. They are laying four to five points here early on Wednesday. Manhattan has the ability to win this game today, so 4.5-points looks good to me. Take Manhattan. |

02-15-22 | Utah State v. San Diego State -4 | 56-75 | Win | 100 | 5 h 2 m | Show
Mountain West action late on the college slate tonight has Utah State taking on San Diego State. Utah St Aggies are 15-11 S/U and looking to snap a 2-game losing streak here tonight. The Aggies just lost at home to Nevada, 72-85 in a game that they never led as an 11-point favorite. San Diego State is 15-6 S/U and 10-11 ATS on the season. They have won three straight games but failed to cover all three. They haven't been horrible at covering, going 7-5 ATS over their last 12 games. San Diego State will have some payback on its minds tonight as they got killed by this Aggies team at Utah State back on Jan 26th, 57-75. I like San Diego State here tonight in the revenge role. |

02-15-22 | Villanova v. Providence +4.5 | Top | 89-84 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 19 m | Show |
The Villanova Wildcats are 19-6 as they travel to Providence tonight to take on the Friars. The Wildcats have won three games in row and covered two of those. They are coming off a win over Seton Hall, 73-67, as a 9-point favorite. The Cats have the top offense in the conference and 2nd rated defense in efficiency. They are in the top three or four in most offensive and defensive categories. Providence is 21-2 overall on the season and has won eight straight games. The Friars have the four ranked offense and third ranked defense in the conference. Like Villanova, they rank top four in most categories. Providence is 14-0 S/U and 7-7 ATS at home. That makes this line a bit surprising that Villanova is laying 4 1/2 points here on the road. I'll take Providence with their perfect home record getting points. Play Providence. |

02-15-22 | Mavs v. Heat -3.5 | 107-99 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 50 m | Show
The Dallas Mavericks are 33-24 S/U and 30-26-1 ATS on the season. They had their four game win streak snapped last game at home vs the LA Clippers, 97-99, as a 6.5-point favorite. The Mavs are 13-13 S/U and 14-12 ATS on the road this year. Miami is 37-20 S/U and 33-22-2 ATS. The Heat have won five straight games after their win over Brooklyn on Saturday, 115-111, but they failed to cover the 11.5-point spread. Still, they are 4-1 ATS their last five games. The Heat are 4-1-1 ATS the last five vs the Mavericks in Miami. In addition, they are 9-3-1 ATS overall the last 13 meetings with Dallas. I'll take the Heat here on Tuesday. |

02-15-22 | South Carolina +4.5 v. Ole Miss | 77-74 | Win | 100 | 17 h 10 m | Show
SEC Action tonight has South Carolina taking on Ole Miss. Both teams are right around the middle of the conference standings, with South Carolina at 5-7 in the SEC and having a 14-10 overall record. Ole Miss actually comes in next to last in the SEC with a 3-9 mark and 12-13 overall record. South Carolina snapped a 3-game losing streak last time out at Georgia, 80-68, as a 2.5-point favorite. South Carolina has one of the better defenses in the country, ranked 35th overall. It's the offense that has had issues, ranked 13th in the conference. Good news for the Gamecocks is that they face a terrible Ole Miss team. Ole Miss is 12-13 and have lost three straight games. They have covered just four of their last 11 games. Ole Miss has the SEC's 12th ranked offense and 13th ranked defense. There isn't much good to find about this Ole Miss team. Yet, here they are laying points on Tuesday. That's too much for me to pass on, I'll take the points with South Carolina. |

02-14-22 | Raptors -4 v. Pelicans | 90-120 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 21 m | Show
The Toronto Raptors having a fine season but finally had their winning streak snapped last game on Saturday by Denver, 109-110 as a 4.5-point favorite. That loss snapped a eight game win streak both S/U and ATS. They are now 31-24 S/U on the season and 31-23-1 vs the spread. The New Orleans Pelicans are not having a good season at just 22-34 overall and 28-28 ATS. The Pelicans have lost two straight games both S/U and ATS, including their last game at home to the Spurs, 114-124, as a 6-point favorite. The Pelicans also continue to play without forward Zion Williamson who is out indefinitely with a foot injury. Raptors just playing too good of late to pass on here tonight. Take Toronto. |
